The Grand 1401 is a very elegant, charming, and beautiful venue to hold large events and weddings! We had a wonderful experience working with the staff at the Grand for our event on the ground floor and it turned out beautifully. They were very friendly and helpful to us and we really appreciated their help and promptness in answering all of our questions. The Grand has a charming historical look and feel to it, and that really creates a beautiful atmosphere in the evening for guests to enjoy. I truly enjoyed having my event there and I am so glad we chose this venue :-) Beautiful decor can be done at the Grand which adds to the charm and beauty. It is very clean and spacious and one can add theme to the hall to get the look one wants. We had a wonderful experience booking through the Grand and it was our best choice!! Thank you very much to all at the Grand for contributing to making our event so special and unique for us. We have attended many events at the Grand and we have enjoyed all of them :-)

Nice place for any occasion

I went there for my friends wedding, and had a blast! It was really spacious. But what made it fun was the people.

Very nice venue ! Especially the 10th floor ! Very well maintained, bathrooms were clean ... and the workers were very friendly.

Venue is great, it is really kept up well and the lady that helps organize the event is also very nice and knowledgeable, the only compliant i have is after our event ended. We were charged a fee for clean up even though we talked to the event coordinator from the hall to make sure all was well, make sure nothing was damaged and there was no mess left anywhere and the Grands event coordinator said everything is fine and that we did NOT have to do anything else to clean up nor was there any damage. However come 3 days letter I get an email saying there was a mess, i explained that we made sure to keep the clean up crew around to make sure everything was fine and nothing needed to be cleaned and the response I got was no someone else in managements had to look over it, not the person THEY LEFT TO OVERSEE the party. I emailed them back again to dispute my case and have heard nothing back and its been weeks. This is very unprofessional behavior from a venue that tries to be high end, will not be doing any other events there ever again

Attended a sweet 16 even middle of July 2017, weather was over 100 degrees,Room temperature was about 95-100 degrees, I had sweat dripping down my back,As Hostess complained to staff they never fixed problem, I saw people come and go so quickly do to how extremely Hot it was,I witnessed food melting, appetizers, cheeses, & cake I feel so bad for the mother & father who put so much money & effort for there only daughters big day, I saw the staff do absolutely nothing, but walk around, its a shame, as a professional that room should of been cooled off night before or morning of event, totally unprofessional, they need to make huge effort to make up for there mistake.

I would rate it better if the womens bathroom had more stalls & air. They only have 2 stalls & if you know us women we are constantly going to the bathroom.

My girlfriends sister had her wedding here and that place was very beautiful! Has a very historic feel to it. Definitely added chard to her wedding!

The Grand 1401 is the premier location for an Urban wedding. The building is absolutely beautiful with tons of charm and personality. As a professional wedding photographer the opportunities are endless and with two entirely different reception areas you cant go wrong. The 10th floor is my favorite and is something unique to Fresno. If you want a classic look and feel for your wedding day and something your guests will never forget go with The Grand 1401, you will not be disappointed.

Such a beautiful building! They also managed to keep the interior cool, despite it being a triple degree day. I almost wish I could get married again, just so I could hold it there!

This place is so nice. The building is very beautiful, from the floors to the elevator to the balconies, its very classy but subtle. The styling is classic and clean. It looks like a new building from the early 20th century would have. One complaint was the mens bathroom on the first floor smelled terrible. Not because some one was using it and smelling it up, but it smelled like fishy sewer.

Just an all-around beautiful building. Its as if this property could be in midtown Manhattan. Look at the first and tenth floors in the Google virtual tour on the about page and youll see what I mean.Many thanks to Tutelian & Company for resurrecting an iconic piece of downtown Fresno.

First time here and it was amazing. Beautiful and well kept with a touch of history.

Great place for weddings, Clean, spacious and well maintained. Also on the plus side, a great place for photographers to get great shots upstairs. I highly recommend this venue. Daniel, Soulmates Photography

Big building but the not enough bathrooms. Hard to find parking. The elevator is scary.

Too many echoes, too cold. Other events outside distracted.

Attended a wedding over the weekend and it was beautiful!! But I would have to agree that the staff was really rude especially the two females.
