Excellent SAT and tutoring program that reinforces more solid writing, analytical reading, and test-taking skills. My daughter hated test-taking and had a fear of timed tests, but this program helped her overcome her test-taking anxiety. The boot camp style of teaching worked for her because she didnt feel alone in her studies and the program covered a tremendous amount of vocab and material that she wouldnt have tackled on her own. Teachers were engaging and director was very knowledgeable, especially about internships and college preparation. My daughter especially thought Thuan was a very clear and entertaining teacher for a subject that she didnt normally enjoy. Writing and reading instruction was excellent. Best place for SAT and didnt mind the drive due to Elite of Fremonts reputation. Plus, my son and I got to visit our favorite dumpling spot (Bings!) and catch up while waiting for her in Fremont so that was always a treat!

Best test prep and college preparation counseling weve come across for high school years. My son learned thousands of vocab words which he would teach to his family over dinner. So our whole family learned. He improved greatly in academics and received excellent college counseling and care. Highly recommend and will definitely send my 13 yo daughter there when shes ready.

We have nothing but great things to say about Elite, Fremont and its director Walter Kim. We initially went to him at the end of sophomore year and took a diagnostic SAT test. The results were quite good and he told us we didn’t need to take his class, and the only reason we may want to consider it is if we wanted to so that it would ensure a regular practice schedule and further maximize our score. This kind of honesty and straight forward attitude is rare. We decided to take the class. His teaching staff and the practice tests helped us a lot and we ended up getting a fantastic score on the SAT.Walter is extremely knowledgeable about the college application process. What we really appreciate about him is his no-nonsense attitude and the way he provides his honest opinion – he tells it the way it is, which is extremely beneficial. You can tell he genuinely cares for his students and is always there to help and guide them. Penny and others from Walter’s staff have been great as well.Knowing what we know today, my advice for prospective students and parents would be to approach Walter Kim starting from the freshman year of High School. I would not choose any place other than Elite Fremont for College Test Prep. Elite, Fremont is truly ‘elite’. A big Thank You to Walter Kim and his staff.

Elite really helped me to increase my SAT score and reach my ultimate goals in my high school career. I made some great friends along the way who are still close to me today, and I couldn’t have done it without Elite Prep Fremont. It was truly a great experience.

Though I was initially intimidated by how rigorous the schedule and policies were at Elite, they were just what I needed to learn in order to excel at taking the SAT.Elite Prep Fremont helped me to not only improve my SAT score but also my work ethic. After memorizing 25 vocabulary words every day and getting quizzed on them right away, taking multiple full-length tests week after week and going over methodical ways to approach each question with teachers in class, my test-taking confidence skyrocketed, allowing me to perform well on test day. (improvement of 400 points compared to my diagnostic test for the old SAT)I highly recommend Elite to anyone who is looking to improve their SAT score and/or work ethic. Not only are both of these things beneficial in ones college admission process, they also come in handy after one goes to college.

The teachers for each subject were friendly and were willing to sit down and spend time with each student to make sure he/she grasped the concept. Help was always available for those who wanted it. The weekly vocabulary quizzes and practice tests kept me on rhythm and constantly improving my score. And at the end, I surpassed my dream score! 12/10 would recommend

I was a student during Elites summer SAT boot camp, and Elite definitely pushes you to surpass your boundaries. Theres a lot of work and much of it requires intense focus, but I felt that none of it was busy-work or work simply given just to give work. My teachers really cared about my performance and took personal investments in seeing me succeed. They sometimes stayed after class to address my questions and were really good at explaining things in ways that I could understand. In the end, I really enjoyed my summer experience at Elite, and my SAT scores showed it. It wasnt easy, but it was WORTH IT.

Former Elite student coming back to leave a review after my first year of college. First of all, I’d like to express my gratitude because Elite was really helpful in improving my score on the SAT. In all honesty, the SAT Bootcamp does sound intimidating in the beginning: vocabulary words to memorize for daily quizzes, passages to read to complete the homework assignments assigned by the teachers, practice tests to take every week, and test review packets to fill out by the end of the week. However, when it comes to actually doing these tasks, it’s nothing more than developing a habit. Memorizing vocabulary only takes around 10 minutes, reading the passage at most 10, and the test review packet around 30 minutes. By the second week, this seemingly daunting list of tasks was already routine and nothing overly strenuous, but was very effective in training my test-taking strategies. Thank you!

Boot camp @Elite is one of the those rites of passage in our area that all the parents know about. almost everyone whos smart or doing decent in school (who can afford the program) pretty much comes here if theyre motivated to want a good score on the SAT. teachers are great and they help you know the ins & outs of the SAT so no real surprises. counseling sessions are informative & helped me to avoid some dumb choices I mightve made otherwise.

Elites teachers were so good and they made the boring lessons about SAT super fun. Penny the receptionist disciplined us very well and kept us on task. Walters consultations were very helpful in my understanding of the SATs. Fremont Elite branch is by far the best Elite branch.

Elite offers many programs to help students through high school. We have had three children attend classes here. They all had their scores increase by 200 plus points.

Elite is great for the SAT because the rigor of the course forces you to take many practice tests and be extra prepared for the real test.

In order to book for Boot Camp am class(M ~ F for 4.5 hr/day), a student has to reserve and pay by early March.My daughter took Boot Camp pm class for SAT not only because her science result from ACT diagnostic test was lower than the other subjects, also because we were some late.According to her, the teachers are approachable more than school ones.She could freely ask questions from what she was wrong in Mon tests.But they shouldve given options(theres $1000 less Sat. all day class Im not Trump)Anyway, she got almost perfect score from 2nd SAT.

When I joined the summer SAT program, I was overwhelmed by the course rigor and the amount of vocab quizzes. But as I went on, I realized how professional this place is. My math teacher seemed very loud at first. He would yell in my face for missing one question in the math part. I always thought he was being too harsh. But when I took the test, I followed all my teachers techniques and I am glad I did. Missing one on the math section was -30 pts. So I thank the Gods that he shouted at me for every little error. Elite was a great experience for me! It certainly increased my SAT score, and helped me learn a lot.

Both my son and daughter have taken classes from Elite. They liked the teachers and class very much!

Elite is one of those places that all the overwhelming smart kids at Mission and Irvington go to.But my son had classes with classmates from private schools like Harker,Basis,Bellarmine too because they all came through word-of-mouth. Even though there are other branches nearby,etc.,friends told us to go to Elite of Fremont because it has the best reputation.It’s intense,but it is good way. And it wasn’ As bad as my son initially feared bc he learned to just basically swim with everyone else going through the same challenges. And at the end, he said he felt prepared.The staff was caring and the teachers took time to answer any questions.Walter was initially intimidating,but my son said he’s actually really funny and cool.But yes, he runs a tight shift. Your child can’t really cheat your way through the program so that’s probably one of the reasons why it works.
