Finally! Ive been looking for a place where the nail technician actually listens to what I want. My natural nails break easily; I need a little extra length and strength, so they dont break. BUT I still want very short and natural looking nails. B, the nail technician, asked questions about what style I wanted and we decided to go with gel tips. She was gentle and checked in often to make sure I was happy with the end result. AND I AM! 😁 Thank you B.

I am a dude. I was convinced by a female friend to get a pedicure and manicure and this was the place we came to...gotta say it was a fascinating experience. Very high quality service and friendly staff.

I came to Nailbox for Gel x extension nails. After my nail tech explained to me the process as well as it being better for my nails in general, I was on board. Nail box studio is tucked away but truly is a hidden gem. The esthetic is chic and and hip and the nail techs are all beyond nice. I had such an amazing experience at nail box that I came back twice! I was so happy with my nails! She did an amazing job both times and I cannot wait to come back! This will definitely be my go to for my nails and I highly recommend everyone to come here. You will love it and your service!

This place is a joke I went there to relax and I ended up being more stressed when I left and ruined my Monday morning and Sunday evening this caused me more stress than before I came. I called to get a gel pedicure and they quoted me 65 I said I want the best gel pedicure you have Sam I guess owner told me over the phone that the price was 65$ she didn’t tell me it be over $100 when I was done she said the gel polish and the scrub were extra . She said that callus removal with the machine Was extra well I didn’t ask for that and the the technician didn’t use a machine on my heals . When I mention that to her she said oh OK that’s not what happened. but they charged me anyway . When I questioned her she said oh I told you that, that’s a bold face lie she did not as I did but ask for callus removal . When Pedicure was done I told technician my feet are very rough she looked said ok well I asked her could you use the pumice again you see my heals look untouched, she said ok . This place is subpar it’s not luxury at all it’s not that plush for the high prices . I don’t mind paying for a ““ luxury pedicure” but this was not luxury at all, this was below average, Also I wanted a paraffin dip on my hands and she put too much paraffin in the back spilled all over my dress ruined a new dress and they told me I shouldn’t of moved my arm that’s what I was told . Basically these people are con artist you’re not going to get charged the price they quoted you and then they lie about it when you question it they just have excuses lies tried to convince me that none of this happened, horrible experience there . Not very ethical business owners. would never recommend this place and they claim I got services that I did ask for horrible place on a scale from 1 to 10 I give it 1 bad Customer service you can’t believe their price menu on their website the ladies in there really don’t know the prices they always have to call the boss Sam or whoever before they charge you because they’re making prices as they go . Case and point don’t waste your time or money . FYI I called and told Sam about my experience and it took me half the morning to fight for my refund full of lies blaming me and excuses for my bad experience . I’m a businesswoman who has that type of time this ended up being a waste of time a bad experience and a waste of money I’m emotionally drained

My second time ever getting my nails done. Had such a pleasant experience with Michelle. She definitely helped me bring my envision of how I wanted my nails to be to life. She gave me some suggestions and always verified with me if I was OK with the plan prior to moving forward. She was very detail oriented and I am 110% satisfied with how my nails turned out.The decor of this place is very simple, black and white which doesnt make me feel overwhelmed. It is a very cute and chic which helps me feel more relaxed.Their reclining chairs are leather and so comfortable that I almost fell asleep with a warm shoulder pack that they put on me. Their signature manicure for gel nails are $33. They charge an additional $5 for stamps on two fingers of your choice.I am definitely coming back here to get my nails done again.

I had a wonderful experience. Finally found a more luxurious nail salon, that is neat, clean, nice decor with attention to detail.My technician was Christine, she was fabulous, never received a better pedicure. Relaxing and enjoying!

I got my gel manicure and nail art done. There was no manicure, I mean she just did basic things with nails like cuticle, filing and shaping. No soaking or message. The girl who did my nail art did the superb job. 5 star for that but not a week before my gel nails have started chipping. I am quite disappointed.

Ive been a customer for over a year. Ive always had positive experiences here. My tech is Christine and shes very, very good! Professional and thanks to her, my hand and feet look fab week after week. Gravity Room is my go-to when Im need some pampering. Highliy recommend this salon.

Super chatty nail techs. Hard to relax when they want to talk with you, which is fine but they were very persistent about trying to become way too friendly with you. Also had my finger sliced twice when my nails were filed for a manicure. Nails chipped after a week.Perks of this place that I hope continues: cleanliness, Netflix for customers to watch, aromatherapy neck pillows, and friendly service.Things they need to improve: better nail polish brands, professionalism, and a credit card system that does NOT require your full credit card number, security code, home, and billing address...this turned me off the most even if they ensured me that my info would be secure.

I went to Nailbox Studios 3 times. First visit Christine help me, she did a great job and tried to satisfy my every customer needs. Second time I booked Sofia cause on her profile she mentioned she free hands. I wanted something different then my usual. When she helped me she was rushing everything she was doing and was impatient with me. She explained that she didnt have enough time because I booked her wrong. So I tried to book her a second time with 10 finger design when i only wanted 2 fingures just to give her more time. Sofia didnt want to do anything i was asking for again. She didnt make any effort to help me or make any suggestions. All she kept saying was no no no no. I understand there are somethings you cant do but if you make this a profession you will at least make some recommendations. She had poor attitude and I will find some where else to go.

My nail technician was Sophia. I had an appointment at 5:15pm and told them I was running late. Once I arrived, I was very apologetic and told Sophia that I appreciate her waiting for me. However, she had a bad attitude already.I had the signature mani and pedi done. She rushed the manicure, but took her time on the pedicure. The service was mediocre, but customer service was lacking.When I paid and left, she slammed the door after me which was very rude.I’ve been to many nail salons in Fremont/Newark and this by far has the worst customer service and unprofessional.

Their website has the option to book online but it doesnt really book it. Youll have a notion that you have a confirmed booking then you get there and you dont.
