Best gym value ever. Damn everything you need and a whole bunch of pampering stuff if you get the black card which is still an unbelievable value at $23. Staff is always nice. Updated machines at least one for everything you need

Just arrived here in Fremont, CA but way of Washington, DC for work. Ill be here for the next month and a half. This is a great gym.Hopefully, this will be my home gummy when I come back in August 2021

This gym is good, however, the closing time is too early. You need to rush to get there and finish your workout. I usually arrive home around 6.30pm, then i make dinner, then rush to there. If this gym can close at 12am. That would be great.

Good gym. Always nice and clean. Could add butter soap dispensers in bathrooms. Wish they would stay open a little later.

Their website says a gym closer to where I live is coming soon. Used to be Bally fotness and then a 24 hour fitness and now soon to be a plant fitness. Went over there and it is likely 4 to 6 months from opening. ahhhh sales and marketing

Clean, equipment is kept new, clean and in working order. Very friendly staff that is happy with their job. What else do you need in a gym!

One of the most underrated workout places. It’s certainly way better than 24Hrs if you only look for working out.

For the price, it’s an awesome gym. I’ve tried lots of others that are $50-100 a month and had the same equipment and amenities but are far less clean and much less of an inviting atmosphere. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with the lovely staff. I started my membership during when they opened in September and everything was kept clean and sanitized- I felt extremely safe. Super excited to see they’re open again and can’t wait to go back.

Ive been here 3 times as a guest and each time it was a fair experience. The pricing is very good and, if you go with the $20 versus $10 monthly rate, you get add-ons like complimentary tanning bed, massage chair, and hydro massage bed, all of which appear to be maintained and are pretty cool. You can also go to other Planet Fitness locations with the higher-priced option as well as bring a non-member guest (13 or over) with you. (Note that both monthly fees in most cases also include a contract and/or an initiation fee, depending on the promo theyre running that month.)The equipment is pretty good and free weights are available but its primarily machines. They dont have the really high-end machines that count reps for you or have separate pullies on right and left but they are standard and decent. Same for cardio machines: rowing machines, stationary bikes, stair machines, and treadmills. All industrial level - meaning a lot more durable than youll find at home - but also just standard without a lot of bells and whistles. Locker rooms are okay but towels, conditioner, or other high-end accoutrements are not available. There are no classes save for a small room that has some red/green lights on the wall and people are expected to cycle through the provided weight machines interspersed with benches for various cardio, according to the timed lights: 60 seconds on, 30 seconds to switch. In the three times Ive been here, there are always at least a few people in the room doing the machines according to their own schedule, which totally screws up the people trying to cycle through all of the equipment and do it correctly. Ive never seen an employee policing the area or asking people to follow the required format of the room, despite all the signs on the wall detailing exactly what youre required to be doing in that room. Members are sort of expected to request the screw-everyone-else-Im-doing-my-own-thing people to please move to the next machine themselves. Although, when I asked at the front desk, I was told that employees are supposed to check the room regularly and that they do try even though they get busy. Again, I havent seen them do it but Ive only been three times, each time between about 8:30 a.m. and noon. (Side note: when I asked them, they said its a lot harder for them to check the room in the late afternoon/evening because its so much busier, so Id hate to see what its like then.)I do also want to take a moment to say that the gym had members with all different body weights and fitness levels and the gym seemed focused (i.e., messaging throughout the gym, etc.) on inclusion and making everyone feel accepted. I thought this was awesome but there were also a few times where I was waiting for weight machines and several were filled by people doing very low weights for very long periods of time while they scrolled through their phones, which was a little frustrating.Note on cleanliness: we are still mid-covid as of this writing and there were cleaning supplies everywhere. Most people appeared to be wiping the equipment down when they were done but it was also pretty easy to grab a paper towel and spray bottle to do a quick wipe before you started if you werent sure.Bottom line: this is a low-end gym but depending on what you are looking for - hopefully cardio machines and weight machines - you will find it for a very good price. If you are used to or have been a member of high-end clubs (towels, saunas, different rooms for free weights and classes, multiple class options throughout the day), this gym night not cut it unless you check your expectations. If youre just looking for a workout and you need the equipment to do it, this place will definitely suffice.

Staff couldn’t not help me checking me inn. I travel a lot and I keep moving locations thats the reason I use plannet fitness and This is my first location where my first membership started. They could not find my account and thats not my problem and they finally find my account and there was zip code issue and I asked for oneday check to avoid hassle for the day since It was last hour. They couldn’t help me. This is my first time felt its not worth keeping membership @plannet fitness.

Yesterday around 9:40 pm i go to this location and ask for help Nice ask the lady who was and from on the desk are you asking for a favor fishing helping me to signing into my account because I have a charger 4 months in my bank account and I dont know feed my account is was open she say she started closing she can know helping me come back tomorrow this lady look into my face and in my in and I say no I dont going to come back tomorrow and she was laughing she thinking I was joking to her she dont wants to helping just taking a minute to help me to say that I understand my account I get out and I was so disappoint costumer is first .

Such a terrible experience. they charged for the corona months; their explanation is wear masks and do gym. any one who is taking the membership here, please watch your bank account for their charges. also, money can be taken without ur consent, but to cancel you need to visit or send a letter, even if there is a corona surge because cancellation is only through consent. physical fitness is related to mental fitness and you will not get it here

This has to be one of the worst Planet Fitness I have ever been to. PF is known for not being like your average box gym (LA Fitness, EOS, 24hr) bit this location is the same. People taking up machines by just being on their phone, staff that treat their friends diff. than the usual member. This gym is smaller also and EXTREMELY busy. If you can go to another location do it. Parking is REALLY BAD!

Didnt like the fact that during covid shutdown they still felt free to take their monthly fee out our acct.wgats nor is ntmine and hubby is sane acct 2gether yet charged us separately which then charged us 2 overdrawn transctns of $35 + fee TWICE how is it possible or even acceptable that we could sweat on a machine and someone can come and sit on that same machine and sweat also but yet we cant take a shower after a workout

I love how well-run this location is.They have proper social distancing protocols, everything is clean and the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming! Post COVID, I feel very safe and comfortable when coming to this location.

Not a Motor cycle Friendly fitness.

I was working out on the treadmill and I was approached by a female worker she asked me to go to the lobby to talk on the phone or outside I just felt like she singled me out because there was plenty of other people on the phone.

I signed for a membership just recently. I am happy with the size of the gym, and the most important: Cleanliness. The staff member who signed me up was friendly

The gym is always CLEAN, and never any bad smells! The staff people are great and always cleaning making sure everything is in tip-top shape😀The trainer, Andres, is excellent and very knowledgeable about the proper way to use the machines and your form when doing exercises. What a wonderful addition to our membership, free group training!!!

Membership was cancelled for bringing in a gallon of water! Yet the water dispensers are turned off! If were in the middle of a pandemic and cant get water from the machines there why wouldnt an exception to the gallon rule be applicable? Not packed in the mornings and love the 30 min circuit. Im new to weights so it made me comfortable to explore more. They should put up a sign to let people know to wipe down the equipment not spray it down because they leave it wet.

The renovation was good and was an advantage. Staffs were super friendly and did accommodated me well. Nice place.

4 stars instead of 5. Because they have janitorial cleaning the bathrooms. Takes them over an hour just to clean the mens. They wont let you in if you wanna shower and grab your stuff and leave. I always come from 11:30 pm - 2 am and I leave late because they take their sweet time cleaning. Other than that the gym is great!

I have been going to this gym for a few years now I dont have many complaints it is a nice gym but they say they have a trainer but the trainer does not do much training all he does is pull out a piece of paper with a whole bunch of different weight machines and all he does is tell you how many reps that will work for you and what machines are good for what youre trying to accomplish and tells you to sign in on a book everyday pretty much a log of when you come in and do the machines thats not training to me also there showers never have hot water thats the main thing after a long butt workout that you look forward to is to take a shower a hot shower and they never have hot water to do so very dissatisfied with that but overall the hot water is not going to stop me from living a healthy life

Been working out here with family and friends for awhile. Very nice staff, helpful and economical for improving health. During renovation it was tough but after renovation, its been great. Even more so, my doctor approves of my progress from a temporary setback last year . The staff was helpful in guidance including the trainer. I was at 24 hrs fitness years ago. Their membership was not economical for family memberships. Were happy here so far. We would recommend PF.

I really like all the diff types of cardio machines and other equipment its very clean everyone keeps to themselves and stays focused on what they are there to do I love it so far very happy I joined .

I like this gym, just wish it had jump boxes and battle ropes and open squat racks instead of Smith machines. Its a good gym and reasonable priced. People are nice here.

I was a member some years and renewed my membership today. The gym is so clean with plenty of available equipment. All the machines look new. Great place for a workout. Lauren was awesome in getting my membership activated.

A great workout place without ripping off your wallet. Have a lot of equipment and friendly staff. They are renovating the place too. This is my regular workout place and located in a great place. They have a 30 minute circuit to keep your overall fitness levels high.

Been going here for a couple years and I would recommend this place for the money. 11 dollars for 1 person and has all the equipment you need to get a great workout. The staff are friendly and the people are too when you do get those rare interactions but mostly everyone keeps to themselves so dont feel intimidated if you start, no ones paying attention.

The perfect gym if youre starting out. The crew is great; always welcoming, say goodbye when youre leaving. Extremely clean establishment. Even better than some of the higher-end gym chains. The members also seem curious and respectful.

This is a fantastic gym! Everyone is super nice and welcoming and the space is huge with great equipment. The coaches are all really knowledgeable, funny, and motivating.

I go everyday to Fremont location. Needs help with noticing detail with cleaning locker rooms. Management staff are young. Need more training. Locker rooms should be cleaned more frequently. Floors are a mess. Shower get used a lot and are nasty at times. Staff say they 9nly clean once at night. NASTY..I HAVE COMPLAINED SEVERAL TIMES. Sanitation spray runs out employees should not have to be told to refill.

Planet fitness business model relies on the low energy crowd. No personal training, no grunting, and the giant wall plastered Lunk alarm attempt make it an inclusive atmosphere, but most gyms are like this. With the exception of awful people, we all like seeing new people in the gym.No pool, no room for group activities, but everything else is good. I dont see this being a permanent gym, but for its price its acceptable.

Canceling membership renewal today. Me and my wife used this club for almost a year. We had a black card membership under my wife’s name, this allows both of us to access the club. Last month, my wife was out of town for three months, and I started using the black card for my daily workout. However, on the night of 08/20, I was trying to access the club, the lady, who seemed to be new here, did not allow me in because the membership card was under my wife’s name. I had no problem using this card since my wife was out of town. And the membership fee was charged to my bank account. This makes no sense to me because I paid the fee and I cannot get in. My name and bank account information is still in their system. But everything still works against me. My wife will not be back until November, meaning that I cannot access the club until November? No matter it is the company’s policy or personal discretion to stop me from using the club, it is so ridiculous to me. Will switch to another brand.

My only complaint is that people who go to the express work out area hog the machines. Instead of doing the route, they either stay on the machines or are on their phones.

Planet Fitness what can I say if youre just starting out working out its a good place to start to see if you want to stick with it no sense getting into an expensive contract if youre not sure if you can give the attention your workout needs the place basically sucks the staff basically sucks and now theyre doing a remodeling so the showers dont work you have to shower Outback in some tiny little dirty trailer which they dont even clean what can I say 1-star isnt low enough they should go into negative digits or negative Stars

I did not like this gym. Three machines I used, were so hard to put the pin in the weights. I had to lift the weights in order to get the pin through. Very small and very crowded.

Nice clean place, friendly staff and lots of parking.

Overall, this is a pretty great facility for the price. Things can get very crowded during peak hours, which is fine if youre using the aerobic equipment. However, the lifting equipment gets congested. My only really beef is that its always a bit too warm in there and that they lack the standard triceps machines that Ive seen at other Planet Fitnesses.

Worst Planet Fitness I have ever been to. Crowed, not enough equipment, and people that clearly do not comprehend the meaning of gym etiquacy. If you can, while in the area, find another gym. I have flown all over the country as a corporate pilot. This has been my worst experience with a Planet Fitness. Congrats!

Yes its affordable. But they false advertise when they describe it to be 24/5. There are only 3 days where theyre open 24 hours, Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. They close at 9 p.m.on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, so if youre looking for a late workout its not going to happen. They should definitely not false advertise and remove the 24/5 decals around the gym and especially their website.

This location is small but nice. Very clean bathrooms and courteous staff.

This place is solid especially for the price. I am not a cardio user, so I dont know about the treadmills etc. But the lifting machines, the weight set and the free body machines all feel brand new. If you are looking to put on some muscle mass or even tone-up this place is perfect.About 4 out of 5 members are super nice, friendly and courteous. Unfortunately if you come during the busy times, you will most likely have to deal with the 1 out of 5 who ruin it for everyone. There are people there who are extremely wasteful. What do I mean by that? Well, there are a limited number of machines and lots of folks wanting to use them. Some folks (1 out of 5) will not let you use their machine in between sets. In between sets they will sit on the machine and block anyone else from stepping in. Thats just plane selfish and rude. Even worse, one day I saw a guy sitting in one of the machines. He was sitting for like five minutes watching something on his phone. So I walked up to him and kindly asked if it would be okay for me to step in while he was resting. He said in five minutes, I watching the news! The dude wasnt even working out. He was not even between sets. He was just using the machine to chill in the seat. So I thought to myself, what kind of perception would lead to this kind of behavior? It dawned on me that this individual probably feels that because he is paying $10 per month, he has the right to use any piece of equipment any way he wants. So if he wants to use a machine to sit in its tiny seat for ten minutes and watch You-Tube, he feels that is his right.But honestly 80% of the folks here are awesome and if you go off-hours you will enjoy the people and the equipment.A message for the staff - It would be awesome if you could put up a sign saying words to the effect of Please be courteous and let others use the equipment while you are resting because unfortunately not everyone is familiar with a culture of sharing, fairness and working together.Addendum 2019-04-15: Today it happened to me again. Someone was using one of the (bodyweight) machines and in between sets they would stand in front of the machine and lift dumbbells. I walked over and kindly asked if I could use the machine while they were doing the dumbbells. They said Im using it. I said Why dont we alternate between sets? They put up some attitude and reluctantly said okay fine. After their second set on the machine i went in for my set and they refused to move out of the way and instead told me to go use another machine. Why? Because they did not want to move 20 inches to the side to let me use the machine. This person is paying $10 / month like the rest of us yet feels that PF is their home gym. They feel it is okay to lock up a machine for twenty minutes because it is their right. Like I said, not everyone comes from a culture of sharing, fairness and working together. PF could be twice as awesome if people learn to share and allow the community to use the machines efficiently. An idle machine is a complete waste.To the staff: All you have to do is put up a sign saying:Planet Fitness tries to maintain a high-quality gym at low cost to our members. To keep this place alive and healthy, please share the equipment with your comrades. When you are resting in between sets, let someone else use the equipment.If you do not explicitly write this down the bottom 20% of the culture-ladder will not get it on their own.

Im not a fan of all the rules. But the place itself seems nice enough. Also not a fan of how many people there are taking up machines while they use their phones.

They treat you like family. They dont rip you off every month. They just need more locations

Not a high end gym. Good enough spacious and clean. Not very crowded yet busy. Not too expensive. They have water jet massagers and tanning facility.

I like Planet Fitness but On December 2 -17 the person working there are very rude (Tim) and lied about my membership is not pay and would not let me workout, when I just paid a week ago But it Sunday so account membership are close, so I told Tim that I will resolve Monday. He said no because he couldnt turn on the Hydro bed for me, and let me hanged for 10 minutes, I walked up to the counter 5 times and he got upset for that and kicked me out of the Club for some personal problems he may but he should not took out on members. Tim D is not fit for this public relations counter job, Tim D should be evualueted about his UPTIGHT Attitude.

Nice showers with glass doors, they have foam body soap. They have the standard set of weights and exercise machines, but only one pull up bar from what I saw. It was a little crowded.

Needs to be open 24 hours every day ... other then that gym is very well maintained and clean. Very hard to get to gym with the limited hours on the weekends.
