I had an experience with another ABA company that I would NEVER hire again. In one year of having our son with this company, he has shown tremendous progress. While I completely understand the need for honest and unbiased reviews, I do NOT believe that this company “is after insurance money OR doesn’t care”. This has NOT been our experience. We find our son’s case manager Jen VERY caring, responsive, professional and a person who listens very well. She goes WAY above and beyond the call of duty whenever we have concerns to make it work for our kiddo. We have fallen in love with our techs. We respect the experience they come to sessions with, and the knowledge they have. Even though I am an educator, I am in no way capable of the knowledge an ABA tech has, NOR would I downgrade their expertise to simply saying it is stuff I can google or read in a book. These folks have trained for years to work with kids who have special needs. I appreciate what they do, and love having this company as a part of our son’s team! Thanks for all you do guys!

I would like to share my experience with this company. They are very corrupt and crocks that always cancel services. Never on time and their main target is to charge the insurance but do not want to do the job. Terrible and horrifying experience never want to recommend these thieves to anyone. You want your child to get better but all their goal is to get the money from insurance companies and not want to help. They cancel at the last minute they only worry about their own time and plans not not worried about others.

Honestly why these people are in business, Zero knowledge of behavior therapy, no show, last minute canceling sessions, poor management please don’t you ever hire them for your kid, they don’t care about your kid, only care about money.

However, I would like to inform you that Global Behavior Therapy Associates does not provide speech therapy services. I would be happy to talk to you about the same.

Though our sons therapist seemed genuine and had decent ideas, we ultimately had to cancel our services through these people for a few reasons. First, they constantly screwed up our appointments. Our request was simple: 10:30 every Wednesday. But at least once a month (not an exaggeration), we would show up to discover our appointment had been moved and that they left a message. Second, the therapy was only to be once a week for 30 minutes in our case, which is just stupid. How do you get any toddler settled down and ready to learn in 30 minutes, much less do a focused speech therapy session? It seemed that just as my son was loosening up and paying attention the session was over. Finally, the therapy offered was nothing more than anyone with access to books on the subject could implement themselves.Dont get me wrong, the therapist seemed to know her stuff and had a great attitude. But this wasnt exactly ground-breaking technique or anything an intuitive parent might discover on their own, even IF there werent books on the subject. My son has more extensive therapy set up anyway which includes further developing his speech as a goal. At this point he is on track for his age anyway (after an initial developmental delay), and will be starting preschool soon too.If Global would just get organized they would be fine. The front desk needs employees that know what they are doing. They need to understand that leaving a message is not consent to a new appointment time. They need to understand that people have schedules and need services at a predictable time every week without the stress of worrying that it will randomly change.
