Very helpful and straight forward assesment. Did all the diagnostic testing to look for the problem and then tested to confirm the hard-drive was the problem. The hard-drive died during diagnostic but he was able to download the bit of information for me at no extra cost and also was able to recycle the old laptop and make sure the hard-drive is wiped for security. I high reccommend them for your computer issues.

I took my laptop into Techs In The Burg December of 2020 after being unable to use my laptop for almost a year and a half. They fixed my laptop for me by January 2021 and I couldn’t be happier! Today Monday 12/2/19, I brought in a 4 year old laptop with a recently gravity-traumatized touch screen. Online I had found that it was probably more than its worth to repair, but after reading all their great reviews, I decided to bring it by just in case an inexpensive option might remain. Once he saw the problem, Dave immediately explained that although hes reluctant to turn away business, given the cost and uncertainty of a successful repair, instead it would be in my best interest to just buy a similar laptop today on Cyber Monday. Well, I was impressed with his honest assessment, and will take his (freely provided) expert advice. My thanks to Dave (and Eileen), good folks.

Dave and Eileen were absolutely awesome - kind, caring and knowledgeable. My computer problem turned out to be minor, but there is no doubt in my mind Techs In The Burg will be the only place I will go if I need computer expertise. Great service and very friendly people. Dave was knowledgeable and did an excellent job of recommending an SSD that increased the performance of my computer tremendously - after he recovered all of my files.

Although my computer was out of commission for a while, it was easily understandable due to a snowstorm. Techs in the Burg is not a discount place, but they are good and well worth the money. I recommend them as a best bang for the buck place. Prices are not discount, but they are certainly reasonable. The best thing is that they actually tried to understand your needs/wants for computer service. Highly recommended.

Took my 13 year old Asus laptop in because I had no display and power issues. As it ended up, my motherboard was shot and a new one just wasnt cost effective. They were able to download my files onto my external drive and gave me my hard drive as a backup to the external drive. Great people and service at TITB. If I have other issues they told me to call and they would walk me thru whatever the issue was. Highly recommended.

I took my possessed PC to Dave to find out which parts I needed to replace. Dave was tenacious, even buying additional parts he needed to test my PC. What he charged me was absurdly cheap for the work he put in, but he refused to accept more. First class!

This is THE place to have your computer repaired. While working on a time sensitive project for her small business, my wifes MacBook Pro decided to quit working. The staff waited a few minutes past closing so we could drop off the patient. It took about three business days to repair at about a 10th of the price of a new MacBook. All data was saved and the Tech even upgraded the new hard drive to 1TB!

Wonderful people, fast diagnosis.

I had my 2007 iMac drive failing on me [a few years back] and TITB was able to recover the data, upgrade my drive to 1T and had my computer back on time for $300. I was very happy with the service and getting a 500gb update to my old iMac which I didnt think was possible. To this day she is still powering along perfectly. Thank You!

Dropped my computer off for repair & never heard back. Called (a few times)after months of waiting & was told they couldnt repair it but it was possible they could still retrieve some of my data & images & they would try that. NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM. After months of waiting, I called to ask if I could have my computer back. They recycled it, without telling me, without so much as a warning call that I had left it with them past their holding period. Which they never mentioned.I am mostly horrified that my photos are gone forever, without even the chance to get a second opinion because my computer was destroyed without my consent. Then I was told I bear the responsibility because I didnt call them to check on my computer. Overall the worst customer experience I have ever had, anywhere.
