It was very refreshing to actually meet an agent who seemed to genuinely care about me and my family and wasnt just trying to sell me on everything. Pete explained in detail and clarity the coverages best needed for us. My previous agent would barely return phone calls let alone offer sound advice. Petes suggestion on a simple, inexpensive sewer back up rider paid off within six months when our basement flooded! It never was suggested to me prior! Im so grateful.After learning that Pete also could assist with longterm investment advice and such I invited him to educate me further and he gladly did; again, no pressure--just facts. Nationwide cancelled our business property policy after one claim in 30 years. The claim was related to a car hitting a structure on our property. The car owner and their insurance company accepted responsibility - even repaying our deductable. I called the agency asking for a review, they promised to look into the issue and call back and try and resolve the policy but I havent heard back from them in three weeks. The claim was resolved quickly by big Nationwide, but we got NO service from this agent and no support after 30 years of paying premiums. AVOID

I cant ay enough about how well Pete and Nationwide have handled my recent claim. I was hit by a GEICO driver in a Uhaul. GEICO was a nightmare to deal with. Pete suggested submitting the claim to Nationwide. Great advice! Nationwide has handled GEICO, Uhaul, the car repair and a rental car in 24 hours. I had to do nothing.
