I utilized this location through a program offered by insurance. They did great work and communicated effectively by keeping me up to date on any changes to the completion date. They even let me drop off my rental there, even though I didnt pick it up there. That made the process much more convenient for me. Should the need arise, I will use them again and I do recommend them for body work.
Service King collision is, quite frankly, the best auto body shop in town. Not only did they do excellent quality work, but also kept me informed every step along the way on the progress of my car’s repairs. I’ve never really had service and repair work at this quality before, and I will be sure to go back if I ever need their services.
Service King did an awesome job on my car. A deer tore my front end all to pieces and they brought it back like nothing ever happened! They are awesome! Great service and the employees and very polite and professional!

This is the second time Ive used Service King. Both times I was involved in not at fault accidents. Both times they did great work, kept me updated throughout the process, and I got my car back earlier than expected. Amazing customer service!
I was in a fender bender, I was referred to to them by the other persons insurance agency, I dropped my car off on Thursday and they had it done by Friday. I thought what an awesome turn around. I received a call at 4:30 saying that my vehicle was ready, I got there by 5 and as I tried to drive away I realized that my gas tank was empty( it wasnt even close when I dropped it off) and my battery was dead. They gave me a jump and me thinking the alternator would charge the battery, I drove to the nearest gas station to fill up before I was stranded. Got home around 5:15 and tried to start the car again to realize the battery was completely non-functional. I immediately called them and they offered to replace the battery, I thought great at least theyre going to make it right . Except they have left me without a vehicle the entire weekend. The one-star isnt necessarily from the work that they did but from the complete lack of urgency to fix an issue that they caused. From what I can deduce, a technician left my car running to the point to run out all of the gas in my tank and kill my battery (I imagine this was overnight), I know mistakes happen but what really gets me is someone had the thought to put a little bit of gas back into my vehicle and a jump it to move it out front where they would park it and not tell a soul. they let me leave that facility with a less functional vehicle than what I had brought them. Then when I called to try and get them to rectify this quickly as possible, I feel like they just said sorry about you, its after 5 on a Friday and Im ready for the weekend. Ive had the last two days to think about all the scenarios that could happen because I dont have a reliable vehicle because of someone elses oversight. To say that I am furious is an understatement.I know Im just one person and it seems as if Im blustering but, I know business is like this usually rely a lot on word-of-mouth and at this point I will go out of my way to inform people to not use this facility.

Took my car in a couple years ago. They did great body work. People there were real nice.
Not all items I pointed out were in the estimate. I tried to contact the inspector at Service King by email and phone. After multiple attempts over several weeks, I finally got hold of her and she said the claim is now locked by USAA. She said they would get it in a supplemental. Problem is that I was planning on doing the repair myself. Communication has been difficult to say the least.
Overall I am pleased with how my truck came out looking, how they kept me updated and how they stand behind their work and do what it takes to make sure that this customer drove away happy. I don’t trust many people fiddling with my truck but these guys will get my vehicles if I ever need work done.

My car was a hard color to match, but it looks brand new AND it was ready a day early. The woman that gave me the estimate on my daughters car was rude and judgemental. She quoted a ridiculous price $2k over other estimates from places that actually tried to think out-of-the-box to reduce pricing. It was an old car, liability only, so we knew I would have to pay out-of-pocket. The company and estimate I ended up going with covered everything except painting which I didnt need on an old car anyway and aftermarket parts. I think she should have been able to figure that out like other places did. They lost my $3k repair.

AWFUL! they are a friendly brunch of people but they dont know how to actually do repair work. On a minor damage accident it took 4 weeks, and I still have problems there are rough spots in the paint, and I am missing pieces of my door still. The original estimate was 1 week! But they found more damage, then they had to wait for a part they didnt know they needed, and the excuses go on and on. When I picked up my car it wouldnt start because they had killed the battery while cleaning out the car. Every time we called for an update we were told itll be ready next week
Normally I take my car to Lusby location which has set the bar high. One thing that disappointed me was the fact that this other location cut corners blending the doors.
My Service King experience was Outstanding. Alan was awesome to deal with and he understood how important Blue (my car) was to me. They made everything so easy from dropping off to picking up my Blue. The daily text messages informing me of Blues progress was a great thing.

I have had multiple experiences with Southern Auto Body Shop. Hands down, they are the best I have seen in my 56 years on the planet. Scott is just the best. The front desk is awesome. The work is the best available ANYWHERE. You know what you are going to get, how much it is going to cost, and when you are going to get it. They are connected with everyone in town, and everyone in town recommends them. USAA recommended them to me first. I have never looked back, and never will. While I hope I NEVER have to go there again, if I do, I know exactly what to expect, and that makes it okay.

I brought my car in because they had availability to get my car in ASAP which was what I needed. They initially bought parts that did not match my car. Ok, thats fine I can forgive that. What I cannot forgive is that I didnt get informed that this caused them to have my car for 2 extra weeks. 1 week into this extra week period, aka the day they told me it would be done, I got told that there was some problem and it would be another week. On this new date that my car was supposed to be done I call them again and get told that my car is still in paint... but it was in paint a week ago when you told me about the initial delay. Im not an expert but I have painted a car before. There is absolutely no reason my car should be in paint for a week. Then 2 days later when the car was FINALLY out of paint. Apparently they still didnt have the headlight, the primary part getting fixed, and it would be another day at least. So on the following day about noon I get the first call that I have gotten since my car was initially brought in for service explaining that the part SHOULD BE IN SOON, and they were hoping to get my car back to me that day. A couple hours later I finally get a call that says they are cleaning my car and that it should be ready by 4:30pm, a half an hour before they close. When I arrive to pick up my vehicle they tell me that they will page the person who I had be dealing with thus far and she would handle closing out my repair. Apparently, she went home after telling me to come in at 4:30 to get my car. So they had someone else charge me money and go over my paperwork.Ok, so finally a month after dropping off my car Im back behind the wheel great. Except I was told to not come in and get it because they were cleaning it and it certainly had not been cleaned. Whatever it didnt really need cleaning when I had dropped it off anyways. I take the car out to run some errands and by the time I am headed home I turn on the headlights and the light from they extends maybe 10 feet from the car because they are angled so low. One of the primary things that they fixed was the passenger headlight and apparently no one thought to check the angle???TL;DR If I could I would leave a 0 star review because I feel like 1 is too generous. There were several delays that I was not informed of, the customer service staff gave what I can only assume was bsd answers about where in the repair process we were, and the work was not very well done.
I send my car there after accident for damage assessment. From initial assessment to finalize the assessment took about 2 weeks, which eventually was totaled loss. The following things made my life easier:* Stephanie, who was in charge of assessing my car, was extremely helpful. She asked me about the story of the accident to have a clear idea about the cars damage instead of just relying on the insurances description.* She communicated on time both via email and phones. As communication is the key for a good customer service.* She kept updating me about the status of my car.* She spent enough time to explain the damages which had accord to my vehicle due to the accident.Overall, I had good experience with Service King. One of the key reason was Stephanie who was leading my claim.
We found this company on Google and took the car right to them. Someone had collided with the car while in a hospital parking lot and drove off, leaving the vehicle damaged. After filing a police report on the collision, we took the car in for repairs. Southern Auto Body took 3 days to fix the fender. By the time they were done with the damage the vehicle was in great shape again. With time, labor, and parts, it was less than $900 for the repairs and worth every penny. I think they did a great job.

My car, a 2015 Chevy Equinox was rear ended on 11/26/2018. I chose to take it to Service King of South Fredericksburg on 12/07/18. The car had a White Diamond tricoat paint. This is a difficult paint to match on the bumper covers . However thru persistence from the Staff at Service King the job was accomplished to my satisfaction on 01/17/2019
Car wrecked on the 31st of July. Took them till the 6th to get from tow yard. Which meant they put a lien on it. Took till the 9th for them to request signature to start work. Here it is the 14th and I havent received any update yet. More to follow as this unfolds, not holding my breath.
This is company is the best, when our handicapped van was hit, they took it in right away and got it back to us in under a week. We had originally been told to call another company by our insurance, but they were not going to even look at the van until the 11th of July. Service King looked at it on the 5th of July and had it back to us by the date the other company said would be the first they could even look at it. Service King is the best!
Terrible service wont take cash nor pay over the phone and when you make an appointment they are late. The work on my vehicle was good but the place was much better to deal with when it was southern autobody.

Had a minor accident with some damage. Repairs were top notch. Communication on when wed get an estimate of repair cost, time needed to make repairs, returning calls, and overall keeping us informed was disappointing.
I took my aftermarket spoiler in to have it painted. The paint matched up perfect to my vehicle. From start to finish James and his team did an outstanding job.
I took my car there after a collision. All looked fine until the electronics stopped working. I took it to my dealership and they found a leak at the weld seams they did that caused this damage. But the unforgivable fact was they did not bolt the back seat correctly and one of the seat belts was never bolted at all. I carry my child back there. What would have happened if I got rear ended again? This is unacceptable and incredibly negligent on their part. My insurance is dealing with them directly because they havent even had the courtesy to return my calls or emails with all pictures evidencing what the dealership found. I would never recommend this place.
Stay away. we took my sons car here and it took over a month and three visits to get it done right. Terribly quality control. Do yourself a favor go to the North location off of route 17 on Trade St. You will be much happier trust me.

Even though my car was a total loss, they provide excellent customer service in a professional and friendly manner.
So I was rear ended by some idiot driving to work. I put in a claim through USAA and selected Service King for the soul reason it was the closest to me. They gave me a call about two hours later saying bring it in whenever you can and we will take a look at it. After dropping it off it only took about an hour until USAA got the estimate which they said go ahead and repair. They got the parts ordered the next day. It took a few days for them to get in but after they got them all they ensured everyone one fit exactly as needed and then they sent it to the paint shop. I got a call that after reassembling it they noticed a blemish on the paint so they had the part repainted and had the car ready for me the next day. This all took almost 3 weeks but when they brought my car out is was like the dealer was bringing off the lot for the first time. The inside and out was clean like never before and the repairs looked flawless. Robert Reynaud was my point of contact through the entire thing which made me feel important and like the shop cared about me. He called me with every update and never seem annoyed when I wanted to get another update. This place might not fix your car up and spit it out the next day but if you want your car repaired the right way the first time with top notch quality service please call and ask for Robert, he and the team at Service King can make a bad situation into an overall pleasant experience.

After nearly 20 years of bringing my business/car repairs to Olaf and Southern Auto Body I now take any work I require to Downtown Garage in Massaponnax. Over the years when I picked up my cars after repair work Olaf bragged about the warranty that came with his work. I let it go in one ear and out the other. That is because I was truly not concerned about the integrity of the repair long term. However, Southern Auto Body repaired a dent in the tail gate of my pristine Dodge 3500 Ram Diesel. After a short time a crack developed under the paint and then up thru the paint in the exact spot where Southern Auto Body made the repairs. I pointed out the defect to Olaf and was astonished when he claimed it was not covered and then preceded to him-haw around about some inherit problems concerning Dodge tailgates etc. etc. Over the years there were many smiles and hand shaking and slaps on the back with Olaf, but when I needed Southern Auto Body to make good on their work via their warranty all I got in return after historically bringing a great deal of business and referral’s was crickets ............
I will never use nor reccomend this shop again. They missed $3000 worth of damage on an insurance estimate, didnt contact me for a week, and never heard back when thet said they would call. Resulted in my car sitting in a shop for 2.5 weeks and then being totalled and no one could bother to tell me.

It took 2 visits and 12 days for them to submit an inspection report and photos of minor damage to my vehicle. I will not be letting them repair my car nor will I ever use them again to get an auto insurance claim processed.
