I came to Colonial Jewelers to get my ring resized. The ladies clearly know what they are doing. My wedding got pushed up, and so I let them know and they got my ring done in only a couple of days. Everyone was really sweet and so welcoming and helpful! My ring is an antique but they made me feel like I was in capable hands. Thank you so much again for getting my ring back to me in record time! It fits perfectly, and I may come in to get my wedding band resized as I got it at another jeweler who sized me wrong and so its a size or a half too large. Overall, Im so happy with my experience!

They did amazing work for a good cost and a tight deadline. I needed a silver coin engraved and they went far and beyond expectations by cleaning the coin up expertly. The last time I had my Explorer serviced was with my AD in Memphis(5 years ago), so this was the first time working with Colonial. Paige was awesome. The process was seamless. My stem no longer has a gritty turn, and the power reserve has been revived. See Paige if you need to service your Rolex. Please service your Rolexes. They have intricate movements, and like all machines, they need to be maintained (at least oiled and pressure tested if you actually wear it). If stock ever becomes available on new sport watches, I will be buying a New Sub from Colonial.

Laura did an amazing job at helping me find the perfect engagement ring! There was a pre-set oval ring in the case, and it was exactly like what I envisioned, only I wanted a larger diamond. Laura brought out a beautiful oval diamond, and after a long day of shopping around for similar specs, Colonial made the best deal for the most beautiful diamond. They made the exact same setting as the ring in the case, specifically for my diamond. It came out absolutely perfect! All of the the outstanding reviews were true. Needless to say, I’ll be a return customer!

Brought a Tiffany & Co platinum band with diamond in for appraisal/possible purchase because it no longer fit. They offered me $400 for a $4,500 ring and then said they could add a half size for $270, called Tiffany & Co after I left Colonial and they will resize it for $90. I never told them I knew how much the band was, but they clearly thought they were going to pull a fast one and make a quick buck. Everyone knows Tiffany & Co, only people in Frederick know Colonial Jewelers.

Where do I begin??? Amanda was absolutely amazing. She is not only kind and heart warming, but she has the up most patients that I have never seen before. But she did not do that. My engagement ring came from here and whenever I go in to get my ring cleaned, the staff is always friendly and professional. My husband also had a great experience here when purchasing the ring and would definitely go back to purchase more jewelry. I do still wish they would do the courtesy 6 month reminder calls for ring inspection to keep up with your warranty - theyve recently stopped doing that and your warranty will expire if you dont make it in within the 6 months. They kindly re-upped our warranty after we came in, but the reminder call was always nice to make sure we stayed on top of it.

This is an amazing family owned jeweler in Frederick, MD!! They actually care about the overall experience you have here. I purchased an engagement ring from here about 5 years ago and a few months ago and unfortunately the diamond fell out of the setting. My wife is a nurse, wears the ring a lot, and must of somehow bumped and bent the setting over time. We were able to locate the diamond so I returned to Colonial Jewelers to have it repaired. I was greeted by a wonderful sales representative named Paige who was by far the best customer service I have ever received!!! Instead of repairing the setting, Paige got Patty (the owner) involved. To my surprise Party set up a personal appointment with her to go over some options. Generously, Patty offered to replace the engagement band for FREE with a more sturdy option. In my opinion thins is why you should always purchase from local small businesses. There customer care and attention to the little things will have me coming back for years to come!! I went to Colonial to buy an engagement ring. I had a firm budget, style, and materials in mind. Sarena helped me and she was very knowledgeable about different settings and materials and she asked questions to really help try to find something perfect for my fiance. She worked very hard to find me a ring that was the perfect style and in my budget. I was very satisfied when I left that day. 2 weeks later we dropped the ring off to have the size adjusted. Sarena was not there that day, but the other staff were just as helpful and genuinely nice. The ring was back a week later exactly as they promised and with a perfect fit. When I walked back in to pick it up, Sarena greeted me by name right away despite only meeting once 3 weeks before. I have very little jewelry buying experience, but Colonial made me feel valued and never once pressured and I will 100% be going back the next time I am in the market for jewelry.

I had an excellent experience picking out an engagement ring there. Hillary was very helpful and patient as I asked a thousand questions about engagement rings. Because of that we went with them for our wedding rings and were helped by Jessica who again was extremely friendly and helpful. All in all we have had nothing but pleasant experiences with this local establishment.

I took a strong recommendation from a friend who had used Colonial to get his engagement ring and took the long drive from Annapolis to Frederick to meet Sarena.Within minutes I knew the drive was worth it. I went in sheepishly with a picture and a mild budget idea and left feeling confident in my purchase and cared for and understood throughout the process. Emily was very personable and helpful in working with me to find a set of pearl earrings that worked for what I wanted. We ended up needing to order them, because the size that I wanted was not available in store, and Emily did a great job taking care of everything and then notifying me and ensuring that what came in was what I truly wanted when the earrings arrived. They are a beautiful set and I wear them frequently.

Had an amazing experience at Colonial. Staff members are knoledgable, prompt, and very service oriented. As a company they stand behind their product and truly care about your story. I was impressed by their coordination and efforts when it came to finding her the perfect ring. They had all the necessary information on file long after we had met with Jessica, this meant I was able to surprise Kristine completely. Kim was a delight to work with. She added another diamond to my Grandmother necklace on such a short notice. The necklace represents 60 years of marriage between my Grandmother and Grandfather. Everyone from the family came inside the store to take a picture. Kim helped to make this a very special surprise for my Grandparents.

The work I had done at the frederick location was exactly what I asked for and actually exceeded my expectations. Combine that with some of the best customer service Ive ever experienced and you have an all together superior buying experience. I want to add that in comparison to what I imagine is very high end work they do usually, what they did for me was low price point. I never felt that way though. They handled my needs and pieces with care and as though it was the only business that mattered.

Absolutely fantastic service. Sarena Ferguson was great! She answered all my questions and did not pressure me at all into something that I did not want over the course of the design process. Engagement ring and wedding band were both custom designed by Colonial and turned out perfect. My wife loves them and could not be happier. My band is also from here and they did an amazing job with that as well. Great service, reasonable prices, and beautiful jewelry.

I brought in some jewelry to be appraised. The store is lovely and I was greeted at the door by the staff. I was assisted right away and found the process for getting my pieces appraised very thorough. The work was completed in a week. I think that this is a very professional store with well trained staff.

I am having a ring made custom through Colonial Jewelers. Emily has been key in getting my vision articulated to the designers in a very short period of time. Everyone there is very nice, professional, and will work hard to meet your expectations. This is one benefit of investing in local family owned businesses, their focus is on your happiness and several middle men are eliminated. This translates into prompt service and a fair price in a reasonable amount of time. Im glad I put my faith in them and would definitely recommend them over any large chain jewelry store.
