One of skating rink in MD with good facility. Large 2 rinks. Rink 2 used to be outside rink now converted into indoors rink. They have good COVID19 protocols as the place sanitized and cleaned frequently. Their cafeteria are still close unfortunately. The vending machine are outdated and old with no healthy food options. One thing you need to be aware of are the hockey players and coach. If you see them on the rink AVOID them. They are super RUDE on and off the ice. Both of the adults and minor hockey players need to learn manners.

Went with my girlfriend for the public skate session today. We had an absolute blast! The staff was very friendly and helpful and made sure we had a good time! Would recommend if youre looking for a nice place to skate without breaking the bank!

Brought a group of 20 people and rented out the ice rink for private use. Was so good we came back a second time with a bigger group! The price is also incredibly reasonable for rink and skate rentals. Very clean facilities, lots of parking, friendly and helpful staff, great quality equipment and amazing ice rink. 5 stars

I was very impressed with the cleaning procedures related to disinfecting for Covid-19 and how clean the facility is. We want to resume full adult hockey leagues and the facility is working diligently with the county to get everyone playing again safely. Ice quality is always good.

This is an awesome facility run by great people. I have personally witnessed the sanitation effort to kill germs in the facility and appreciate the efforts of the people. As well Thanks Cheryl for the D league hockey effort and Ice times

This place is a great place to teach, Learn and Skate! This place has great food and two rinks for watching games and playing. It is ran by some great people and all the people are great. Great place to skate. Reasonable rates. The rentals have no arch support at all so your feet will hurt. Much better to buy your own skates or bring arch supports.

We had a great time.skating and will definitely be back. Make sure you check the website very carefully. Thought I did but still managed to show up at LAST Mondays public skate, not this weeks...would be nice if schedule was.more consistent. The ice wasnt too crowded which was great for my young learners. Do wish they had the ice walkers for my kids to hold onto as they learned, rather than trying to cling to the wall which is really not helpful.

Great place for lessons,free skate is crowded on Friday night. Cleaning done frequently.

This is the best ice rink anywhere in Frederick. Ive played hockey here for the last 12 years in the adult leagues and its always been fun. The post-game social scene for adult hockey is great. There are a lot of good guys and gals here.Sheet 2 is consistently voted as the coldest rink in the region, so if youre coming to watch a game, dress warmly.

TERRIBLE place. Ran by a bunch of teenagers who think they know everything. They even let someone there act like the rink guard when they didnt work there. POOR work ethic. I wish there was another ice rink in frederick because I would spend even 20 more dollars for a better work ethic.

Took the kids during a cheap skate session. Wasnt too crowded. Shoes are everywhere since you dont exchange rental skates for your shoes. The lobby/consession area could use more seating.

Shockingly cold rink with usually decent ice. Mostly nice staff and accommodating ice times. Facilities are a bit gritty and a definite negative.

Fast ice, which is good for public skate. Weekend admission is steep even if you bring your own skates. The rink is cold so take a jacket and maybe gloves too. Could be cleaned a bit more often. Staff were adrupt and unfriendly. The skate shop is limited, and the guy there at the time didnt know much about the stick tape I wanted to buy. Good overall though.

Rental shoes are horrible

Its just okay. This ice quality is poor. Dont go in shop. The workers dont want to help and tend to walk out and just talk with friends while you are trying to pay.

This rinks ice is yellow, wonder who peed on it. Maybe max dabruzzo
