The office scheduled a technician to come and install my supplied smart thermostat and to get my AC blowing cold again. The office said it would be an $89 service charge for them to come out and investigate what the problem was and would then present me with a work order to fix the issue and install the thermostat.Tech was delayed and arrived late - the office did call and notify me, but couldnt hit there original window. Tech arrived, inspected the system, determined that it was a bad wired thermostat and installed my smart thermostat. No inspection results discussion or fee discussion before performing the work. The tech then used unprofessional pressure techniques to sell a 1yr maintenance plan insisting that he was just doing it to help me and save me money. When asked what the charge to install a smart thermostat would be, he said $289. With the cost of the offered plan of $400/yr with no charge for any work today and the promise of 3 more service visits.If I would have know they would have charged me 289$ for hooking up 7 wires, I would have laughed him out of my house. The pressuring into the service plan was disgusting and a dishonest way of doing business in my view.On top of that, the AC only worked moderately better, but the tech or company doesnt seem to care because there was no follo up once the contract was signed.Beware. Watch them like a hawk and ask questions. Make them stick to the agree ld 89$ diagnostic fee. or find a more trustworthy company that actually cares.
Robert and Brian were on time very friendly yet professional. Robert figured out the problem within 15 min it was the Capacitor which cost about $300 bucks. He checked everything else it was good on the AC he went downstairs to the other half gave us an estimate for duct cleaning and a water device cant remember the name lol. And we signed up for maintenance Contract at $35 a month the AC is working beautifully and it only cost us $410.00 today for the repair call the Capacitator and the the first month of maintenance. OUTSTANDING!!

It was a great experience having Jay and Robert for a great customer service. Jay provided every details about the heat pump and A/C systems that helped with my decision to make a purchase. He was very professional and continued with several follow ups with me including coming to my house to assist with the thermostat set up and provided explanation. As my review was removed, here I go again, with updates!!A few days ago, a Michael and son truck parked in my reserved and marked parking space. When I asked the driver to park somewhere else in the court, he categorically refused, and stayed there for more than 3 hours!I should have called the police right away. .. my bad!Anyway, after 3 hours, staying in his truck and not doing anything, (no wonder their prices are so high!!) he went to one of my neighbors, stayed 10 minutes and finally left my parking spot!. During all that time, I called their customers service twice but it seems that they dont get an hold on their employees either.My neighbor was actually stunned when I told her that this truck had been in my parking spot for hours.... stunned for me, but also for herself as she was waiting for this technician to certified her new HVAC system. She missed her whole morning at work, waiting for this tech to show up, when he was there all along!After writing a review on Google (review they obviously deleted), I was contacted by email by one of their customer service persons who assured me that they talked to that employee that he wont parked on someone elses reserved parking.Although they dutifully apologized, assuring me that the employee too apologized (!) their communication was dismissive. The apology was only about my parking spot, not being rude to me, not staying hours in that reserved spot after being asked to leave, not being respectful of another persons property.The whole situation shows a total disrespect of people, from the employee but also from this business who rely on customers to blossom.Removing a review is also a big no-no.... do better, serve better, and be respectful of your customers and their neighbors
Initially we thought “Great experience tech was awesome! Arrived within our time window, knowledgeable, and very helpful.” Then that same night we had the same problems we were having again! I called another company realizing Michael and Sons had horrible reviews and I should’ve trusted them but they had the earliest availability to come service our house. So we went with another company in our area and Michael and Son screwed us!! The new tech with the new company had to fix what Michael and Sons did. Then he could fix the actual problem with our hvac system!! No one ever ever ever use Michael and Sons in Frederick Maryland! My husband will be calling for a refund!

We called for a check up on my AC and they guy came criticizing my home . Then he didn’t want to check my AC for the commercial amount he wanted triple the price . He was 30 min late . The least they could do was call . Our AC is fine and he apparently found that the whole house was gonna explode if we didn’t buy a new AC unit with his company for 10,000 dollars ? We could get payments . He threw a hizzy fit when we told him NO and left arguing we were gonna be sorry if we didn’t fix it? That’s the last time I call those people
We scheduled an consultation appointment with this company a week ago for today at 10 am. I took off work to be available. When no one showed, I waited until 1020 to contact their office/customer service department. I was told they had no appointment documented and would not be able to have anyone come out. Very unorganized and unprofessional.
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Originally called because our heat pump stopped working and we had no heat. A month later and they still have not fixed it and now its 90 degrees and we have no A/C. Was told between appointments that management and scheduling representatives would follow up. This never happened. They were scheduled four times in the past month, cancelled one appt 10 min before the end of the window, and were unable to fix it in the other three appointments. Save your self the headache of chasing them around and being lied to, Go with someone else.
