I had this team do a foam & fiberglass job at my house and was very pleased. Then I called them back to do a second job at my mothers house and the workmanship left a little to be desired (they forgot to cover the replace grates, some vents were removed causing more damage than would happen with a skilled tradesperson, and they didnt clear up debris left debris on the floor in an empty freshly painted and cleaned room as shown in my photos — they credited me $150 for this so it wasnt the end of the world).Where things really got bad was after I had signed the quote and paid the final invoice they realized they had misquoted me. Jorge, a manager on their team, called me and negotiate with me to pay for the $1,700 error after the work was done and the final invoice paid for. Jorge tried everything in the book including dragging in future projects at my house theyd written estimates for. Needless to say Ive cancelled all upcoming work with Atlas and dont recommend doing business with them.

Atlas is a WONDERFUL company. Every single person we encountered, whether on the phone for scheduling, in home for inspections, or the two days of work, was WONDERFUL. So polite, friendly, and professional. The quality of the work was also exceptional. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

We were looking to see how we could seal our old home a bit better against losing heat in the winter and cool in the summer. Atlas did a very thorough job of walking through the house, inspecting every entry/exit point for air, completing a door blower test, and then carefully explaining our most to least effective options for helping to seal the house. With rebates from our local electricity provider, we were able to spend just $100 for the consultation and have a very good jumping off point for how to better air seal going forward (and we may well use Atlas in that process!).

We called Atlas for an estimate for attic insulation. They convinced us to pay $100 for an energy audit which put us into the Maryland energy rebate program. In talking with the estimator, I told him that our kids bedrooms never got much airflow and they were cold in the winter and warm in the summer. I assumed they could not do much about that. But....Nolan told us they could seal duct holes with a spray from inside the duct. Amazing! When they finished, they found that we were losing 49 percent of our conditioned air through holes in the ducts. Our home now heats and cools so much better than it did. Thank you Atlas!Atlas did the insulation, duct sealing, basement wall sealing, weatherstripped two doors, and installed exhaust fans in our two bathrooms. The workers were so efficient, clean, and courteous Wonderful people. We could not be happier with their work. With the rebate we got a very good project done for a good price. Highly recommended.

We recently had Atlas perform a home energy Audit because our utility bills have been sky high. Shannon was very professional and was able to do a thorough inspection and give us a detailed report of the findings. We went through with the service and i was REALLY impressed with the service of the workers. I have done a lot of work at my house, but the best company I ever experienced is Atlas. I have had them back several times, and I have referred family, neighbors and friends. The first thing is that Matt who runs the operation is so honest; you never have to worry about getting something you do NOT really need. The punctuality, reliability, and skill level of the employees is amazing. It is a nice company and you can tell because the employees stay. My house is so different since they did the insulation and then the duct sealing. The engineering measurements they use to test air flow and heat loss really make a difference. But there are no gimmicks, just honest workmanship. I wish every company I hired was like this one.

This company did an energy audit of my home and showed me many ways to save energy and get a tax credit for it! They insulated my attic and did other energy saving jobs. Great Insulation Firm and handled our renovation with care and attention. They were less expensive than I expected and also would help us pursue rebates with the local utility company. We recently had Atlas upgrade our home to be more energy efficient. Over the course of about two weeks, they were in our home four or five times. The Hang Crew, Zaum Crew, and the Van Crew were all friendly, efficient, and ensured our home was clean following the completion of each job. They answered all of our questions and ensured the disruption to our daily activities was as minimal as possible. With the attic insulation, air sealing, and AeroSeal in the ducts, we have already noticed a significant difference in the temperature of our upstairs level just one day after the job. I had a great experience with Atlas Home Energy Solutions. They did an energy audit, presented me with various options, then did the work that I requested and took care of all of the paperwork with Pepco/the state of MD to get me my refund. The main work I had done was insulating my attic; they also addressed air leaks in the basement between the foundation and the house. They identified why the room over my (former) garage gets so much colder and they proposed a solution, but were very forthright in telling me that the energy benefits would not have been great enough to make up for the cost, given the amount of work that would have been necessary in order to access the small space that wasnt insulated. I enthusiastically recommend this company.

I accepted a cold call for free high efficiency bulbs, and was offered an inexpensive home energy audit (with the fee applying to any work done). I had little intention of going any further than that. I was impressed with the level of professionalism and the fact that they did not try to add on any suggestions/work (as I had a good knowledge of what needed to be done).I accepted the proposal and Atlas was very accommodating with working out the state refund details. Atlas Home Energy updated our insulation and applied Aeroseal to our ductwork. As soon as the work was completed, we could feel the difference - the temperature of upstairs and downstairs is finally the same. Different crews completed the insulation and Aeroseal work. Both had great work ethic and they were each done in half a day, instead of full day. We were especially impressed by Sams’ insulation crew. Atlas also installed timers on our bathroom fans, to ensure there will be air flow in our now-airtight home. We worked with Nolan as the estimator. He was great to work with overall and very punctual in evaluating our home before and after the insulation work. We were contacted by Atlas after enrolling in Pepco’s Energy Star Program. Atlas was also punctual in submitting our rebate forms to Pepco. Overall, we’re very happy with the quality of work and we recommend Atlas Home Energy to others!

Sam and his crew did an excellent job installing the extra insulation and foam sealing those areas previously identified during the analysis. They were very careful around the inside of my home and took extra measures to protect specific areas (i.e, hardwood floors, wall/door trim, etc.) that could have been scuffed by their equipment and/or hoses. They were very efficient and were here for less than 5 hours. Sam kept me appraised throughout the entire process through taking and showing me pictures of the areas foam sprayed and/or insulated. He also explained all aspects of the insulation thoroughly. After he left, I did notice some plants outside that had been damaged (i.e., stems broken and/or stepped upon). I wish that hadnt happened (Ill have to sooth my wife now) but given the overall excellence of the project experience, its something Ill gladly handle.

I utilized Atlas Home Energy Solutions for an energy audit by my utility company, Potomac Edison. Atlas performed this energy audit and informed me of the work recommendations and the costs involved and potential discounts from the utility company. I agreed to have Atlas perform the work specified in the audit. They informed me of the plans for the work, and specified the dates for the work at time of contract. They maintained this schedule of dates but were able to move up one date for some preliminary work as they had an date come open. They arrived on schedule and were very professional and operated under COVID guidelines and completed each task expeditiously and informed us of the process and progress of each step. After completion of the work, they did the test out and it showed substantial improvements to the tightness to my house and expected energy savings. I was very satisfied with the service received from Atlas and have in fact recommended them already to one of my friends.

We had our 30-year-old home re-insulated by Sam and his team from Atlas. They did a wonderful job! The three members of the team were entirely competent and extremely polite. When the job was done, they left our home in an absolutely spotless condition. Atlas has my highest recommendation!

We contacted Atlas to put additional insulation in our attic and install plywood flooring to access the heating unit up there. They were the only company we got quotes from who were wiling to put down the flooring. They were also the only company who told us that the insulation work was eligible for a rebate from our electric company. Their quote, done by Shannon, was professional and itemized everything involved in the job, including making sure that bathroom vents were properly sealed and that they vented outside, not into the attic. Shannon also did an energy audit, which was extensive and helpful. There was no hard sell to have additional work done by Atlas. She did the paperwork needed for the rebate and we have heard back from our electric company that it is being processed. The insulation was scheduled and done in a timely manner. The men who did the work were professional and respectful. They put down floor coverings and wore masks while in our home. I would highly recommend Atlas to anyone who is looking to add insulation and we would gladly use them again for any future needs.

I called Atlas Home Energy to improve our insulation. The house is 21 years old and the bedroom over the garage has always been cold in winter. They recommended several improvements. They worked with us in developing a schedule -- and stuck to it! The technicians were very nice, very professional and took great care in all that they did. We have noticed that the heat pump is running less, and now the guest bedroom is as warm as the rest of the house.

We used Atlas to conduct an energy audit of our home. They work with Pepco and help with getting rebates on work done. We had our ducts cleaned and sealed, our attic cleaned and re-insulated. They also sealed the top plates of the walls of the home. They weather-stripped the front door. They also installed an exhaust fan in a bathroom, which has dramatically helped the circulation of air in the house. We live in an old home, and all of this work was sorely needed. Their cost was on target - and we even received a slightly higher rebate from Pepco than originally quoted.We had all of this work completed during the pandemic, and were concerned due to health concerns of my family. They understood this and all individuals were respectful, wore masks and remained appropriately socially distanced. They were extremely clean with their work and did their best to lessen the disruption of the home (and it was decorated for Christmas at the time). They arrived when they said they would, and the time allotted for each procedure was accurate.Their customer service was excellent - from the initial consulting appointment to my calls to ask questions.I would highly recommend this business.

Atlas with Matt Sera inspected our home several years ago and found that it to be about 60% efficient by testing for air leakage. They examined all aspects of the house, made some recommendations, and followed up by sealing air leaks between foundation and house structure, improving insulation, etc. The house tested at 80%. A year later, I compared heating and AC costs with those of the previous year. Costs were reduced by about 20%. Their service was absolutely worth it. Plus, they are all nice guys.

Thanks much to Sams Crew from Atlas Home Energy Solutions for installing a bit more than 400 square feet of spray foam insulation in the crawl space under an addition to our home in Columbia. Sam explained the project in detail providing photos of the finished project. They are an extraordinary contractor. One example: shortly following Atlas’s addition of new insulation in the attic the condensate drain line from my relatively new HVAC system stopped operating properly. At first the HVAC tech who came to look at it blamed the Atlas people for disturbing the line. Atlas dutifully returned to check everything out and determined that the new HVAC unit was likely the cause. I immediately thought, “Oh, boy. Here we go…two contractors pointing fingers at each other”. However, WITHOUT ME ASKING THEM, the Atlas supervisor on his own initiative called his counterpart at the HVAC firm and, manager to manager they agreed that the HVAC folks were indeed the ones who should fix what was likely an improper installation by their folks AND that they should resolve without charge to me.Now THAT’s what I call customer focus.I seldom write customer reviews thinking merely I got what I paid them to do….but these Atlas people are honestly extraordinary. VERY highly recommend them.

Atlas has done multiple home energy efficiency assessments (two different homes) and multiple insulation jobs for us, and its been great each time. Theyre professional and provide clear explanations and pricing. Each time they handled everything that was required to get rebates for the work. There was one issue with the work that only appeared many months later (a tent over an attic door was too small and pushed downward on the door, pulling a latch loose), and Atlas came and replaced the tent and fixed the latch - quickly and at no additional cost. Strongly recommended.

Hello, we live in a 26 year old house in Frederick City and even though weve made some major home improvements over the years, enhancing our attic insulation never happened for some reason. Until today!Every interaction I have had with Atlas has been extremely professional and positive. Shannon came out of March 20, did a through inspection of my attic with pictures and explained everything clearly and sent me a contract which I signed and scheduled the work for April 12th. Atlas would add to the skimpy existing insulation up to R49, add and replace any baffles that needed it and also foam seal all cracks, etc. in the attic.Well, on Friday, April 9th I noticed two new wet spots in our MBR ceiling. I called Atlas immediately and talked with Matt since I thought the new water damage might mess up the following Mondays work. Matt immediately alerted a work team on the way back the office after their days work and within a couple of hours Keith and Brandon showed up, got into the attic, found the leak (appears to be a attic roof penetration from my 4 year old solar panel installation. And also noticed a problem with an old bathroom uninsulated fan exhaust which had caused two other much earlier leaks in other BR ceilings. This was added to the work order. And I sent the pictures Brandon took to Vivint for their review.Today, 4/12, Keith and Brandon arrived early installed the new Bathroom fan route out to the roof with a new 4 inch roof vent. This required using a 40 ladder btw!!Sam, Sanga and his team were also here early and began their work. They were extremely polite, professional and friendly. They worked diligently until the work was done about 1:45 and Sam and I did a walk through. They vacuumed, and cleaned up everything and took numerous pictures and explained each to me. They had to replace nearly all of the very few existing cardboard baffles with decent ones. Sam was obviously proud of his teams work and he should have been!I realize this got too long but I just cannot remember when I was this pleased with the outcome of a contracted service. I just completed a very thorough home energy audit. The regular price is $400, but PEPCO subsidizes all but $100. Nolan was very thorough and took time to show me photos and describe the areas of the house that could use improvement to increase the energy efficiency. I will get my report, along with quotes for the recommended work, in about 7-10 days.

I had Atlas come out and audit our home in late summer of 2018, they were thorough, professional and we agreed on some upgrades. 2 years have passed since then and the effects of the improvements has really made a difference year round. A couple of rooms that were seasonal use only are now usable all the time, in fact one has become a comfortable home office. Then just last week some weather stripping that they installed failed (looked like a manufacturing problem) and Atlas came out and replaced all the stripping for free after 2 years of exposure to the elements. Drawing from this report, I had the ability to make any of Atlass recommended improvements that suited my specific needs. Among them: Atlas replaced the deteriorating fiberglass insulation under my existing addition with a superior material, which now makes it considerably easier to maintain the addition as a heated (and cooled) living space year-round. Foam insulation around the band joists under my living room also improved my ability to keep this room at a comfortable temperature. A whole-home exhaust in my bathroom installed by Atlas improves indoor air quality, keeps the house cooler in summer, and reduces the likelihood of mold growth. Although I didnt opt to replace my existing attic insulation (which was the item that could have improved energy efficiency the most), Atlass detailed energy audit report is a valuable guide for deciding on future investments. I recently had some work done with Atlas. Not only were they on time, but they got finished early and even did me a favor by changing a lightbulb that I couldnt reach. They were neat, polite and followed COVID precautions. Kenny was especially nice and all did great work.

Atlas went above and beyond what i expected and they handled the pepco funding too so i did not need to pay the entire cost out of pocket. Each of the groups that did work explained what they were going to do before doing it and would answer any questions i had. The miscellaneous project guy actually fixed both outside doors sticking (he was really there to just add weatherstripping).

Replaced my windows on the upper level of my home today. Technician was professional and the work was done fairly quickly for the amount of windows. Customer Service and rest of the team were also very helpful.

Atlas Home Energy completely re-did my old 1939 house by conditioning and fireproofing the whole attic nd ingeniously fillomg the closed attic to an addition with two feet of insulation while also venting it from its eves and through a roof vent. Underneath the same addition, Atlas Home Energy completely conditioned the large crawl space by sealing the earthen base with thick plastic and heavily insulating the entrance. The room and its floor - were so warm in the winter after the work was completed. In addition, Atlas Home Energy Solutions had set up the job so that when it was over, I got $2,000 rebate from the state of Maryland!

Recently had Atlas Home Energy Solutions perform an energy audit. The technician was knowledgeable, friendly, explained what he was doing, and answered all of my questions. Waiting for the report and will hire them to perform some needed work.

I had a great experience working with Atlas to get the vents cleaned for the entire house. Rick and Keith turned up at my home bright and early. GREAT WORK !!!Removing ceiling insulation in the basement. I believed it would be a mess to clean up. Not so. I had nothing to clean up - Atlas left my basement exactly as they found it -- clean.

Couldnt be happier with Atlas. We had a new bathroom fan installed, 3 doors sealed, and new insulation put into the attic. It took two days, and the crew was efficient, friendly, and clearly experienced. They were very respectful of our working from home schedules (tried to minimize noise while we were on calls; came in early morning to wrap work around lunch each day, etc). We have noticed an immediate increase in the comfort of the home and a decrease in the amount of time we need to run the AC. Would use them again. Special thanks to Keith.

Atlas did an awesome job. Really helped in getting my leaky house tightened up. Spray insulation in the overhangs will really help the heat bill this year as well as the additional insulation in the attic. I also did the aeroseal and the loss in the ducts went from 140 CFM to less than 20. That should help stop the loss of heat/cool that ends up in the attic and not my house. Workers were VERY professional, wore masks and showed up on time every day. Really impressed with this group!
