I have used The Vacuum Shop on several occasions in the past 15 years. Each time the service was very good. This time it was different. First it took them over two weeks for them to give me any info on my vacuum cleaner whether it fixable or not and extracting this information from them only occurred because of me calling. to inquire about it after waiting for almost two weeks. During this conversation, I was informed the vacuum was not worth the repair. I was ok with that, so I stopped by the next day to pay for the diagnostic fee. The owner asked if I was going to buy a new one and I said, yes. Then in a patronizing tone he said, why wont you buy from me? I was then pretty much lectured too about how I am not supporting small business and that the company (Dyson) which I was going to buy the new vacuum cleaner would be out of business shorty but my store will still be here. Which I think was another reason he was trying to get me to purchase a product from him. He even then gave me an analogy of going to his shop is similar of going to seeing a doctor to be diagnosed for a sickness. After this, he continued to inquired why would I not buy a vacuum cleaner from his shop. He even asked me if I was a billionaire and if I like to throw money away on new vacuum cleaner every two years. The lecturing continued for a few more minutes. Anyway, I will not be returning again. Poor service and I dont appreciate the condescending attitude.
Walked in to ask about repairs. Upon finding out the up front cost for diagnosing the problem and the amount of time it would take, I decided it wasnt worth it in my case so I declined. The person helping me asked me if it was because of the cost of the estimate and started to explain in a condescending manner that they dont work for free, etc. I understand how the business works. I did not come to receive a lecture on why Im wrong for declining. As I was leaving, he had the nerve to tell me to come back and see them again. Yeah, no thanks.
I brought my Electrolux canister vacuum here for repair. I received a prompt and honest repair quote. When that old vacuum you have no acts like new, I reccomend you give it a check up here before yougo by a new one, and the team here will do that for you. They saved our family from making the costly just buy a new one mistake.Located in the same center aa Kroger so it is convenient to do a drop and food shop at the same time.
Staff was professional, and went out of their way to service my machine, finding alternative parts for it since the originals were no longer being made. And best of all the price for the service was very fair!Thank you guys!
The service here was fast, the repair guy was polite and knowledgeable, the prices are VERY fair, and its very conveniently located. Have already returned for more business.ONLY downside is that its a $100 minimum on card, but thats completely understandable considering its a small, privately owned local business.
Took two dyson vacuum cleaners to them to get repaired. Cost $64 for them to look at it. Repair quote was $140 for one and $175 for the other. I believe this quote was so high to motivate me to buy one of the $999 vacuums they sell. Very nice people but I don’t feel like the repair side is honest
Wonderful shop! They have always taken great care of anything I needed.
Seems they are no fans of Dyson and over charge to repair.
Great price and honest
This is the only place I would ever go for my vacuum needs....repairs, purchases, supplies. Excellent quality products and the best customer service!! Highly recommend!!
Ive been going to these folks for many years and have always found them to be honest, reliable and professional. They take good care of me and my vacuum.
Very friendly and courteous service
Horrible! This shop is absolutely horrendous. Tried to take my vacuum to this gentleman to fix it. He proceeded to keep my vacuum for a week. When I followed up he quoted me an outrageous price to fix it & then proceeded to try to convince me to buy one of his vacuum cleaners instead. He would allow me to use my broken one as a trade in. However the value of the trade in was based not on what my vacuum was worth but the price of the new vacuum I purchased. I paid his $35 service charge which covered absolutely nothing, liberated my vacuum and took it down the road to the Oreck shop in Franklin where they diagnosed the problem immediately, fixed it in 3 days & charged me a reasonable fee. I am writing this review roughly 5 years after the incident because unbeknownst to me my wife took a vacuum back to this shop 2 weeks ago and received the exact same treatment. While I could have written this off as a miscommunication I have reached the conclusion that this is simply his style of business.
So happy they are still here and avilable to service my machines!!! Awesome great people, father and son!!
I have always shopped for vacuum cleaners from this store. They are honest and helpful and have great customer service.
Amazing place to get a vacuum! They can fix vacuums too! Vacuum comes with a service plan!!
Excellent service, honest and the best vacuums money can buy.
Great job!
