The Franklin Animal Clinic is staffed with the nicest, caring, and concerned people. The situation with my dog had me upset and stressed. The staff was professional, timely, and helpful. My dog was able to get in the same day for surgery and the price was reasonable. The concern was on the care of my doggie first and foremost. I am so glad Im a client at this veterinarian clinic. I appreciate them so much. They truly understand how much we love our animals.

I was actually referred to Franklin Animal Clinic because my veterinarian moved out of state and the veterinarian that took his place was not comfortable treating my 13 year old beagle with cushings disease and kidney and liver failure. I was nervous being referred for that reason but I ended up being so grateful to have been led to a facility with such caring and knowledgeable doctors, kind, supportive and interested staff, very fast answers to questions and affordable pricing. I am quite honestly so much happier and have so much more confidence in my pets care than I ever have in the past. I would now not ever consider going anyplace else. I have found the perfect place for me and my animal babies!

Dr. Mills has been a God-send for all my shepherds with advanced vet care needs. Franklin Animal Clinic has been very reliable whether the needs are as simple as concerns with canine arthritis to spinal surgery. Have grown to love the clinic now for almost ten years.

I would like to be very clear with this I DO NOT LEAVE REVIEWS! This one star is as low as I could go and the only way to Leave this review. I have been to the facility for many years! To their credit they did help me save my Rottweiler back in the day (around 2010 give or takes couple years) the price I was quoted was the price I paid. My dog came home and made a full recovery and lived to the old age of 12 till cancer took him. Then they referred me to LAPS OF LOVE to have a very kind man come out to my home to have him an euthanasia so he could be as comfortable as possible with his family in his home! To this day I am greatly appreciative for this experience and have much respect for the man that we meet!This facility is not the same and values are gone especially when it comes to large breed dogs.So I got an emergency visit for my Rottweiler, which I had to wait 4 days to get and this did cost extra. The doctor seemed to be very concerned even staring off as though he was contemplating our situation! So initial examination blood work- urine sample- it was said it was best that he stay with them until the results come back. I paid the down payment right then and did not question the amount! This I am good with and I do not question the price or down payment should I say. He did exactly what he said he was going to do. Then he left for the weekend. Yes I called in the evening to check on him-my animal was diagnosed -they were treating him- I received a message that I could pick him up before 4 on Sunday.When I got there to pick him up they were procrastinating- watching me - trying to charge me what I had already paid and it was more than the original quote.The money was not the issue! The issue was my animal was in no way ready to go home!Just over 24 hours my family watched him stop breathing just after coming back in the house from using the restroom and we were all helpless!My children 7&9&16 just lost their brother-protector-their best friend -after they thought it was going to alright because he came home from the doctor! My animal’s life was cut short at 5 1/2 because of a “split-decision”! This was very unprofessional on the clinic’s part and I even recommended this clinic to all my family members and now I DO NOT recommend going to this place for any animal no matter how minor or major your situation is!

I absolutely ADORE and ADMIRE Dr. Amy Smith! We were at a loss with our dog Stella. Her ear had a reoccurring ear hematoma and ear infections. Stella is not the nicest dog, but she’s not aggressive. Dr. Smith has been so patient with Stella and has really made it a point to make sure Stella was comfortable! When we first started here, Stella would need to be muzzled at all times, now she does not. We started going here after being told our previous vet wanted to completely cut her ear pinna off. After 8 LONG months and rechecks every week or two, Dr. Smith was able to save my baby’s ear! We now take all of our pets to her and only her! Went to pick up a Rx catfood they said they had, but when I got there, they didnt have it. They called other vets to find it for us and delivered it the same day. We are VERY thankful for their diligence to get the issue rectified.

Has been my vet of choice for several years. Every staff member is knowledgeable, professional, compassionate and understanding. They have assisted with my rescue dogs and my personal dogs. Their recommendations and treatments are always spot on. They truly care. You can’t find a better vet in my book.

Ive taken my babies to see Dr. Hennessy for about 15 years. He is so compassionate. His care saved my precious silkie Honey Bear more then once. My honey has passed but still take my yorkie poo and wouldnt think of taking her anywhere else. Hopefully will have another silkie someday and she will only go there as well. Besides Dr Hennessy and his awesome assistant everyone there is so sweet and helpful.

They were able to see my dog in an emergency visit. She was very sick. They got her in seen her and diagnosed what was wrong. They put her on medicine and all in under an hour for less than 500$. They are always my go to vet. They are friendly great people there. They really care about the animals.

They got me in on a Friday night late. They were very professional very helpful for my angel. The vet was very caring and very attentive to our needs. After an exam and X-ray it was discovered that my big girl has Alot of kidney stones but with medicine and a new prescription food we are hoping to get rid of most and then maybe surgery for the rest but she is in very good hands. Setting outside very sick pet inside. Granted vet wanted to get to diagnostic but I had something important to share & she told me she didnt want to hear once we gave ok for labs & x-ray. Last time they stood outside my door saying how horrible I was for not neutering my cat right then & there. My Family has gone through a lot this months including my Dads 4th open heart surgery & finding out I have bad problems to having both our animals whom we cherish very sick & finding out one has a heart condition & this LADY behaves this way! Rude and unprofessional to say the least!

Been taking my dogs there for ten years. In my hour of need was basicly turned away.my dogs are my family will look for a better place for my family.

I have been going here for several years and usually great service but during this Covid..it has not been good and you cannot either get an answer or leave a message! Is there not enough staff or exactly what is going on? Experienced an upsetting issue with my dog due to an error on your part, left a message but even the office manager could not find time to call me back. Some people out there do not have computers and some do not even know how to use them..so what do they do to communicate?

These people charged me $400 to get my kitten neutered! They absolutely took advantage of me. This place only cares about the money. You are better off going somewhere that won’t charge you double the price of any other private vet.

Dr. Jackson was very helpful and easy to talk with about the concerns I had about my dog Bear and his illness. She took plenty of time with us and answered any questions I asked. Also, gave me advice about following up with Bear’s health in the upcoming weeks. I have been going to Franklin Animal Clinic for close to 18 years and have always been extremely satisfied. Weve been going to FAC for about 15 years with 5 dogs and havent considered anywhere else. Dr. Chad is amazing. He has been with us from delivery to euthanasia 😞. Dr. Steve & Dr. Andrew are great too! They love what they do and it shows. Guess thats why we drive 45min to see them. 💜

Our dog is very difficult and everyone at Franklin Animal Clinic takes very good care of her, even though she is not a friendly girl. We had an incident yesterday and were very worried about her. When I called, they were able to work her in that same day. We saw Dr. Mauer yesterday, but all of the doctors, techs, and office staff are exceptional at what they do. We have been taking her there for six years and have always been very happy with the care she has received.

Very helpful and caring staff! I had an appointment for my 45 pound dog and I had to bring my 7 month old baby with me as well. Staff offered to take my dog in/out of my car from the building so I could take the baby (even when they were super busy). Will continue to take my pets here for future visits. 🐶🏥

Ive never had so much trouble with a professional business. Each time I called about my cat, the person answering the phone had no idea what I was talking about and had to put me on hold. Two of the times I was on the phone for over 10mins. After several important miscommunications it was decided that the doctor/patient trust was lost and I should find another clinic. This is six days after they diagnosed my cat with diabetes. I was not given any information on how to care for him despite asking what I needed to do many times. I just wanted them to help my best friend. In my case, Ill be better off with a smaller clinic that has the time to give personal care to my pets.Response to owner comment: I felt I had a bad experience? So it was a good experience not getting care for my cat and I just didnt realize it. Thank you for making that comment. Thats exactly the patronizing attitude a person should expect if they take their pet there.

My 3 month old puppy Stash got a fish hook stuck through his lip . I tried to remove with no luck so I called Franklin animal clinic and the got him in quick and took good care of him. Awesome friendly staff reasonable prices. Thank you .

Dr. Lee and staff were great and my dog was at ease and did great with them. He had been vomiting all day and we were so concerned, but they made time for us and took good care of my Buddy. They answered all of our questions as well. He’s doing much better now!

Always had the greatest care from Franklin Animal Clinic. Have been clients for over 25 years. Last visit was no exception. Have my elderly Pug mix nails trimmed every 3-4 months @ clinic. Could not happen during Covid. After re opening, took to Groomer- refused to do because of length. Took to chain pet store, trimmed back paws, told me front paws needed Vet attention. Scheduled appt. Dr. Daniels saw and was so kind and accommodating. Was very honest and stated did not need to see vet. Only charged me for pedicure. He is always so kind and very good to go over details no matter what the visit is.

Dr. Davis (no relation!) was extremely helpful in helping us with our beloved dog. She was very patient, caring, and observant in her examination. She spoke to us plainly and made all facets of her diagnosis, with the intended medications, as understandable as possible. We have NEVER had a bad experience here ... and I fully recommend this clinic to anyone.

Since I had to wait in the car until the technician came to get my dog, I made sure they had my request to trim my dogs nails. They failed to get that done. I will try to trim them myself or call them and take her back. Other than that, they always give good care.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! My dogs got into a fight last night & this morning it was obvious that my female needed medical attention. While other vets turned us away and suggested an EXPENSIVE trip to an ER, Franklin Animal Clinic was willing and able to accept her. She originally was scheduled in at 3 pm but when I expressed my concern, the receptionist squeezed her in around 9:30 am. When we arrived, it was extremely busy. We were taken back almost immediately & the staff was extremely caring and comforting. When I picked her up, she was bandaged but In good spirits. The staff was sure to answer any questions I had after they went over care instructions thoroughly. When I got her home, I noticed that during her visit they went above and beyond by clipping and filing her nails (a service I hadnt requested but she desperately needed). Oh, and did I mention that the bill was under $550, all of which included x-rays, stitches & anesthesia. I will continue to use and recommend this vet for as long as I have animals and I live in the area.

I can’t say enough good things about the quality of care I have received over our many years with Franklin Animal Clinic. Their communication with me as well as the communication between staff is remarkable. They have seen us through simple check ups, major surgery, difficult diagnosis, and loss. Always with professionalism and a deep caring for my pets and me. They have highly skilled group of vets and support staff. They got my little guy in on an emergency basis without an appointment. Even though they seemed pretty busy it didnt seem to take any longer than if I had an appointment. They got him taken care of at a reasonable cost. He is doing much better and so am I. Lol. I think I have a new vet.

The staff is always friendly when you stop in and are great with my dog and helpful. Its especially hard when furbabies are sick to know what to do. Your staff always makes it easy with how to care instructions and make my baby feel better.

Friendly to your pets and family when taking care of your Furry Friends

As a breeder of show dogs, I bring these vets a variety of challenges and a lot of patients.Even though theyre show dogs, they are also beloved pets and I want the best for them while at the same time, getting the best value for my money spent. I havent met anyone in the practice yet who isnt outstanding. I wish I had transferred my dogs care to them years ago.

Our vet recommended Franklin Animal Clinic due to our pug puppy needed to have surgery and our vet did not do this type of surgery. Our princess Piper had a soft palate resection, tonsillectomy, trimming stenotic nares. We were very worried about our baby but Dr. Mills and staff reassured us that she would be fine and everything would go good. They called me after her surgery to let us know everything went great. I highly recommend them if your fur babies ever need anything done. I can not thank you enough for helping our baby breathe better. After 30 years, the waiting time is too long. Poor customer service out front. Every time I come, lately, I sit and wait over an hour while 10 other people arrive later and go back. This on top of extra fee to schedule urgent visit to be seen within a week. Then you add having to leave work early just to sit and wait forever. I love the Vets, but how disappointing.

We went to two other vets before Dr. Hennessy diagnosed our German Shepherd..by taking a culture. She is great now..with the right antibiotics. We can not praise this Dr enough.

First time visit for our senior goldendoodle, Shaggy. Great experience. Very reasonably priced. We were greeted by friendly staff . The assistant that worked directly with our dog was wonderful. Shes great with animals and you can sense she loves her job. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!

My dogs have been patients there for 9 years. They were both fixed there. One of them was a rescue and had severe anxiety but was treated very well and solved his problems. I dont know who or why they dropped the ball but I will NEVER EVER recommend them again. My 9.5yr old was just off. Something didnt feel quite right with him. I called immediately to get an appointment. The receptionist DENIED my senior dog an appointment because he had not been there in awhile. He was by all accounts HEALTHY. She told me that he would be considered a new patient and they were NOT accepting new patients. I begged with her to please just make an exception. I told her that he had been super healthy but due to his age and symptoms coming on so quickly, I was extremely worried. She again told me that would have to make a new patient appointment which were 2 months out. I was so upset that I sent this email.(Good Morning,I have a senior dog that is just now having issues. I attempted to make an appointment but was told we were considered “New Patients” due to the length of time since his last visit. Therefore, I could not make an appointment for my sick dog. I don’t understand how both of my animals were there for shots, neutering and at one point had to put our other dog under anesthetic to trim his nails. We have been tremendously fortunate that they have not needed your services in quite some time. My husband and I recommend you to everyone we know. Please tell me this is a mistake. My dog is a senior and his health is declining rapidly.I understand the gravity that Covid 19 has had on all of us. I also work in a hospital and I understand and appreciate that your time is valuable. Dr. Platacis actually saved Bronxx. He was so abused before we had him that his anxiety was through the roof. We thought maybe he had to be put down. She told us to try trazodone and it helped. Our dogs have never been sick. I was a K9 handler in the United States Air Force and had been showing and training since I was 12. My husband has been in rescue for over 20 years. We have administered their vaccines.Can you PLEASE re-evaluate our chart and see my sick boy? His health is declining rapidly. If he is suffering, we need to know.Please help me and if you can’t, please just respond to my email. I would greatly appreciate it.Respectfully,)I NEVER received ANY response!!! Bargersville hospital agreed to see him immediately. Little did I know my dog was dying. His heart was failing and his abdomen was filling with blood. They rushed him to Indy Vet ER to see a cardiologist but we were unable to save him.I find it disgusting that as an existing patient we were denied. I find it even more disgusting that NOBODY in that building could give me the common courtesy of a return email or even just look at my dogs chart and have mercy on him because he was an old man that had a really tough start. To be honest, you make me SICK. I PROMISE you, I will tell ANYONE who asks me for a vet office our story and I sincerely hope you either straighten up your front office staff.

We had a great experience even with Covid19 going on. They took excellent care of our baby and explained exactly what was happening at todays visit.

Dr. Wagoner is a great vet, she is thorough, caring, and bake sure your pet is ok. Will call you personally to check up on your pet, sit on the floor with you while you cry and say goodbye to your pet, and keep working to make sure your pet is healthy.

It was very easy to make an appointment for my dog. All of the staff is very caring and are very good at what they do.

Our vet retired at the end of February and we were referred to FAC. Although we did not anticipate needing an appointment until his well animal check in August, we found ourselves with an injured dog this past week. We called on Friday and had an appointment on Monday. The experience was nothing but positive from the scheduling of the appointment to the actual visit. The young lady who came to get our Yogi from the vehicle was as kind as could be. Our dog is so nervous with new people and she called him by his name several times and rubbed his ears while she walked him in and he went without any problem. Dr. Rainier is the bomb. We cannot say enough good things about her professional demeanor, excellent conversational skills, and her compassion and empathy. She was everything we needed in that moment. She talked to us about her recommendations and seemed to truly understand what was bothering Yogi. She took an x-ray and had answers for us almost immediately. She also consulted with Dr. Mills and already had us scheduled for a consultation with him before we even left. She prescribed a medication to help us get Yogi through some difficult times with pain and inflammation, and he is doing so much better. We have an injured baby, but we know we are in good hands at FAC. We have no doubt that our next appointment with Dr. Mills will be just as awesome. Dr. Rainier and staff, thank you for being so kind when we were parents in crisis. We happen to be a little nuts about our baby (who is a six year old Berner, but still...) HIGHLY RECOMMEND 🐶

Our youngest of 4, 4 footers............kermit........a 4 year old marmalade male cat............came down with a (for lack of a better explanation)......a sinus issue............had been slowly suffering for a couple of days.......we thought it was just a minor cold...........not this time................we showed up unannounced (after being turned down by another area vet) and we were treated like royalty..........we were worked in,,,,,,,looked at and diagnosed, shot given and happy to announce that kermit is on the road to improvement .......already a big difference in how he feels........thank you so much for your service today and being true pet owners, working us into your regular scheduled daily appointments.............awesome day!

I had a emergency with my dog Sissy. I had no appt but when I called they fit me in almost immediately,! Very friendly caring staff. And they promptly took care of my baby. She is much better THANK YOU !I reccomend them 100%

I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my dog! The staff is incredibly helpful and it is clear that they truly love what they do - helping animals. The waiting area is always pristinely clean and the staff - from receptionists to vets - are all friendly and caring. My puppy actually gets excited to go to the vet!! I highly recommend Franklin Animal Clinic to anyone who wants the best care for their animals!

I honestly cannot say how happy I am with Dr. Daniels. He is absolutely fantastic. I prefer only holistic approaches and believe nutrition is one of the best medicines. He isnt a holistic vet but completely respects my choices and for not specializing in that, he is pretty knowledgable in those approaches. He is straight forward and honest and is ALWAYS a pleasure. I am SO happy after trying several different doctors and being disappointed, that Ive found him. I enjoy his approach of explaining options and possibilities of cause of things, and not pushing product without actual asking questions to understand whats going on. Dr. Daniels is the bees friggin knees. I really give the 5 stars to him. Id follow him to any vet office at this point.

Great place to take your pets. Our cat ate part of a nerf dart that was lodged in her small intestine. We took her to an e.r. place in Indy on Saturday evening and they wanted $5300 to do surgery. On top of the $550 for an x-ray. Sunday(Easter) we called Franklin Animal Clinic and they got her right in. Quoted $1200 over the phone. Before they started surgery they called to see if we wanted he spayed, which we did. They also ran x-rays, got up to date on shots, flea meds, and the surgery all ended up being under the $1200 quote. They called with up dates on our cat. I would recommend them to anyone. Great caring staff and affordably priced.

Our dog had an accident while we were on vacation. Franklin Animal Clinic took her in on emergency. Dr P was very nice and answered all my questions. I was told the bill would be between $600-700. And they asked for a $250 deposit.

I don’t think you could find a more caring vet out there. They were wonderful to us and our dog.

In March of 2015 I had to send my 14 year old puppy to heaven. The atmosphere and care everybody showed us helped make this decision not as hard. We had our own room with a blanket on the floor. They gave us time to cuddle and say goodbye. He went gently and with love. I wont go anywhere else for my babies. Thank you so much

Epic experience here with Dr Lee. She cares about our animals. As soon as the weather got warm this year, my cat thought it was an opportunity to get in a couple fights and ruin his right front leg. Dr Lee took x-rays, put him on medication and his recovery has been miraculous. She scheduled visits for three months until she was satisfied with his condition. So because of her, I felt compelled to post a five-star review.

We have taken Pepper and now Chloe there we like it very much.

I love that they care about every single aspect of my.cats care. I have one that is so sensitive to normal shots. They provided an alternative that works. SO VERY HAPPY. he is happy and healthy and not in pain after his yearly. Thank you all so much for caring for my.cats like I do.
