My boys looked like they were wearing tumbleweeds on their heads thanks in part to covid and Dave fixed us right up. They went from hippie to preppy in no time. Dave is cool for sure, but what is coolest of all is his smart scheduling system where you can book timeslots. Kinda weird to be in a barbershop and not hear a phone ringing or tons of people waiting but it was a really smooth experience. Thanks Dave!

For decades (up north) whenever I got a haircut, it was necessary to take a shower when I got home. For some reasons that I dont understand, I do not have clipped hair down my back since I have been going to Daves. My late wife always said he did a good job.

Dave has been my only barber for 8 years now, and he is the best one I have ever had after nearly five decades of using different barbers. He always gives me a consistent and great cut every time I visit his shop. And I rarely have to wait long to get a haircut, as Dave is also very quick. Dave knows time is important to his clients, and he works hard to insure his customers are taken care of as quickly as possible, while always providing a great cut. I have never seen a barber as fast, yet so consistently good at the trade, as Dave. He is a pleasure to talk with, and his shop is conveniently located as well. Pricing is also fair. Go to Dave’s Barbershop if you need a traditional walk-in haircut – men and boys – you will not regret it. Highly recommend! Would give him 10 stars if I could!!

My husband and son have been going to Dave for their haircuts for the past year. My husband continues to tell me that he is amazed at how efficiently Dave can cut hair, and how consistently he gives excellent haircuts. Dave is a respectful, kind man who also is intentional about running a family-friendly shop (old-fashioned television shows on the TV and no inappropriate magazines). Dave has won the loyalty of all the male members in our household and will continue to do so.

It is almost one hour to drive from my home to Daves Barbershop. If it was three hours I would still drive there. Dave has been cutting my hair for the last 20 years. If he keeps at it and I am still around, he will be cutting my hair for the next 20 years. He is awesome. By comparison, when I first started going to Dave, he was in a shop with 3 other people. People waited 3 and 4 deep to get their hair cut by Dave. The other barbers were no slouches--one of them was Daves own dad--but his skills are a cut above (pardon the pun) the rest. If Dave cant give you a haircut that you are pleased with there is only one answer--you cant be pleased.

With all the Style Clip Sport Shack genre haircutting places popping up in strip malls, staffed with cosmologists, not barbers, its sometimes hard to find a real barber in suburbia.Dave is a real barber, in a real barber shop, with a real barber chair, and one of those spinning spiral pole things. If you are a man, or some day will be one, and want a haircut (not a style, fluff or blowout) for a fair price, Daves is the place to go.As a bonus, for your entertainment, there is a good chance that you can catch a black and white episode of Andy Griffith, Three Stooges, or Little Rascles on the small screen.P.S. dont go here, i enjoy never waiting more than a few minutes, Id hate for Dave to get all famous and there be a line out the door next Saturday morning when I stroll in.

A true barber, fair price, and a really great hair cut

First Person in my ENTIRE LIFETIME (including when my Mom used to cut it, lol) that a barber will actually remember and execute the same haircut I requested the first time I walked into the building. Ive now had several haircuts from Dave, and he has remained consistent and reliable. Overall he is quick, courteous, clean, and precise. No frills. He is mindful of your time, although Ive never felt rushed. He also makes a constant effort to stay family friendly (only appropriate shows on his TV, no inappropriate magazines lying around, etc). As a father I appreciate that, as that is not always the case with other places I have visited.A word about pricing: Im not sure what the confusion was in one of the other reviews, but Daves prices have been $20 across the board for as many years as Ive gotten my haircut there.

Really disappointed in that I had to pay him $20.00 regardless of the fact that this Web site shows my senior cut should have cost only $12.00. He refused to honor the $12.00 advertised price and I refused to stand there and argue with him.................got better things to do. But I can warn YOU. He either runs a dishonest shop or he needs to check out this very Web site and fix the quoted price.

Dave is a real mens barber. He is consistent from visit to visit. Hes got Andy Griffith and the Three Stooges showing non stop on TV.

Updating my review from the first time I went in to Daves shop. The last 4 or 5 haircuts (the only haircuts I have gotten from him) have been mediocre. He almost seems in a hurry to do a good, detailed job. Every time I have gotten a haircut from him, I end up coming home and having to fix several spots where the hair is uneven. I could understand if he was in a hurry, and other customers were waiting, but out of 6 or so times I have been in there, there has only ever been one other customer waiting behind me.And not that I expect to get chatted up - trying to chat with this guy is a waste of time. Ive decided to give up on him, and try my luck elsewhere. I really wish a good old fashioned barber shop was somewhere close by, as I would be there in a second. As it stands, there are a few so-so places in the area. Ill keep looking...
