I had a nail in my tire that needed to plugged which usually is an easy job. I was in and out of there within and hour and he even extended his services to me for free, which was absolutely sweet and more helpful than he knew. My wife had been experiencing low air pressure notification on her dash panel. I took the car into Moodys just to have the air pressure checked. This a service and convenience that they freely provide without hesitation, and that we have used many times in the past. Without putting the car on a rack, the technician notice a nail in the tread on the 2nd tire. Lucky for us. I left grateful for their prompt service. This is why we have trusted Moodys for the past 30 years. Moodys never disappoints.

Got here at 7 AM on a Saturday and they said it would take an hour and a half. After sitting for an hour and a half I got up to walk around and realized my car had not even been taken back yet. I love Moodys! I live in Nashville and a few years ago I had an issue with my car making a banging noise when I made left hand turns. I took it to several shops in Nashville, and the dealership... NO ONE could figure it out. I took it too Moodys and one look - they knew what it was and fixed it all up! Fast forward two years and I still make the drive all the way to Franklin when I need anything major worked on. HIGHLY Recommend!

They didn’t have the mower tire in stock but had it on the wheel by 7:30am the next day. Very happy with the service.

Moodys has always done great work for me, from putting new tires on a newer vehicle, to helping me find the right tires for my vintage vehicles and trailers ... even texting me ahead of my visit, asking me for pictures of the old tires to make sure they have the right ones for me in stock. They also care about the jobs they do and text afterwards to make sure I like the results.

Ive done business with these guys for years. Trustworthy, dont try to sell you services you dont need, and work with you to try and stay within a budget. Definitely recommend.

Very personable staff. Went on a Monday morning thinking I was going to need 4 tires...they said I only needed two. I was prepared for the high pressure sell...didn’t need to. I would have given 5 stars but I had to wait about 1 1/2 hours. No problems at all.

Friendly and easy to work with. I called around and they had the best price on my wheels, tires including installing a 2 leveling kit and alignment. Jimmy and the rest of the staff were great to work with and the truck rides great!

As always great and fast service, good prices! Been coming down since early 2000’s. From car, truck, trailer to lawnmower tires. I also have here those little tires on front of lawnmower filled with foam that hardens as it cures to avoid getting flat all the time. Really, my personal experience every visit at Moody’s has been never less than excellent. These folks get lots of time soo busy but remain friendly and customer focused. They did a great job on my car. However, they kept moving moving the date back on when it would be ready day by day instead giving me an accurate time.

Moved to TN in 2020 and was looking for a reliable and honest mechanic and was referred to Moody’s by several people. The process to make an appointment online was simple and the staff was welcoming and friendly. My truck was taken care of and got back to me in great time before promised. This place saved my a$$. My radiator busted on a Friday night they were able to fix it Saturday morning and get me back on the road that same day!

Would not install hitch, even after they said to come on over. Would not recommend.

Made appointment several days ahead of time. Received a confirmation of request but no confirmation of appointment. Called to make sure that time was okay and was told yes a few days before leaving my car. They called first thing to ask about my car and said it would be looked at in 3-4 hours. I waited for about 6-7 hours to call, they said it hadnt been started but was next. I called them back about 1.5 hours later and still not started. Poor communication, obviously no point in making an appointment, they didnt look at my car until closing and then had to keep it overnight for what should have been a quick fix. Very disappointed in this experience.*edit. I am very pleased with my customer experience after leaving this review. I was able to have a nice discussion with management and they are implementing new ways of closing those communication gaps.

In and out very quick, only one tire for a trailer, that was setting along side 840 . Great service .Had what I needed unlike Discount Tire . Which never does that why I always go to Moodys.

Friendly, helpful, but failed to order tires from warehouse, thus had to leave car over night. Got tires and work done quickly the following morning. They did call and apologized, explained problem, and accepted responsibility. This is a first and very unusual, as I have been dealing with Moody’s for years. Always pleased with workmanship.

I was a lady grandma in distress and these gentleman helped me tremendously.Had a flat tire all of a sudden, no spare tire, and I had two toddlers in the vehicle. These men helped me in every way they could to get me back in the road for my 2 hour drive home. They are 5 star in my book.

Great service! I couldnt get the wheel off a 1989 F150 that I recently purchased. Justin and the good folks at Moodys got the wheel off. It was by no means an easy job. That truck had sat for awhile and the wheel was corroded on tight.When I asked them what I owed them, they said no charge. If you need work done on your vehicles, Id recommend taking the to the good folks at Moodys. They are gonna treat you right.

Incredible service. I was visiting Franklin over Labor Day weekend and had an issue with my brake caliper. I took my truck to Moody’s on extremely short notice, and they had my truck fixed in 4 hours. On top of that, they said that fixing it was easier than they had expected, and they didn’t charge me anything. They replaced some bolts and got my caliper back on and did it all for free. Can not recommend them more.

This guy were great. Lost my splash guard under the engine on vacation. Ordered a new one and these guys installed it for less than $50.

Excellent customer service replaced my spare tire under my truck no charge just good customer service had taken it to Firestone who is the company who did not put it back and it was going to be a 2 hour wait less than 5 minutes at Moodys

Very trustworthy people that have served the community for many years.Free rotation with oil change, but you need to be willing to wait or leave your vehicle. It’s first come, first serve and they are a popular place. They are always kind to offer you a ride to work or home. They may or may not be the cheapest but will always treat everyone respectfully AND tell you what services are most important and which can wait.Their employees stay with them for many years which is a sign of a good employer.The Moody family are some of the best people you will ever meet.

I chose Moodys after I previously took a tire in to get fixed and they didn’t charge me for it. After that act of kindness from a locally owned business I decided I would purchase my next set of tires from them. I called on a Thursday and Kyle ordered my tires and had them ready for install first thing Monday morning. The tires I purchased are excellent (Michelin Defender LTX) but the level of service and hospitality I received from Moodys was second to none. I 100% recommend Moodys. They have earned mine and my family’s business for future auto needs.

Based on Moodys good reputation in town, I took my Jeep in for a leaking differential. The replaced rear differential/axle/driveshaft and returned Jeep to me with Check Engine light on. Took the jeep back and they said it was a transmission issue and they do not work on transmissions. I took the Jeep to their recommended transmission repair shop. The shop said that the wrong gear ratio was installed by Moodys. I took it back to Moodys and they reviewed everything with the old parts and claimed the transmission shop was wrong. So I took it to another repair shop that determined Moodys put in wrong gear ratio. Moodys installed correct gears and the problem was resolved. Long story short, I was without my Jeep for over a month while they played around and never took ownership of the problem. I am also concerned about the quality of the work now and all Moodys will say is You have a warranty. I asked for an extended warranty beyond the 2 years and he said he would check into it. Still waiting on that phone call. I also question if their first recommendation of replacing the rear axle was even necessary. If you do not know to verify the rear gear ratios with the front do you even need to be working on differentials at all. And who returns a vehicle that came in without a check engine light on to a customer with it on without seeing why? And of course there are sounds coming from the new driveshaft that were not there before all the repairs. To say the least, I am very disappointed.

Had my 2020 Tacoma lifted here and just brought my moms 2020 ram for a lift/wheels/tires as well. Great service and very quick to get the job done.

We have been in Brentwood/Franklin for over 5 years and struggled to find a high-quality, honest, and quick shop that can do a variety of services. Then we found Moody’s about 6 months ago. Moody’s has done everything from oil changes to brakes to tires and lift kits for my cars and trucks. The customer service is awesome and the quality of work is excellent! I won’t go anywhere else.

Overall a solid institution in Franklin, started on Main Street by the two Moody Brothers just after WWII. They still offer road service as well as onsite tractor service, a big deal in a still somewhat rural county. One problem: They do not seem to take Covid-19 seriously in their showroom No masks are in evidence, including the employees dealing directly with the public. To be fair, they have been creative in offering free pickup and delivery of autos so you dont have to actually go there. But masks are not for the benefit of the person wearing them, they are for the protection of the other person. Right now I am trying to take my business to enlightened companies that are fully committed to the safety and welfare of the community, even if some portions of the community dont get it.

Moodys is the best. They have been providing excellent service for my Mazda Miata for over ten years. They are thorough and efficient at performing my regular oil changes, tire rotations and inspections. Because their inspections are so thorough, they let me know when I need a new battery or brake work or alignment or belts or hoses and then they promptly do a great job performing that work. When I need new tires they are very knowledgeable with their recommendation for my car and then they do an excellent job installing my new tires. They have replaced all four tires twice for me and both times I have been a very satisfied customer. When I call them with a problem like a nail in my tire they work me in and fix the problem. Most recently my dear old car stranded me when the ignition switch wouldnt work. I called Moodys and they said they would replace it for me. AAA towed it to them that afternoon and the new ignition switch was completed by the end of the next day. I highly recommend Moodys for all your cars needs.

Generally a good experience. The folks there are very welcoming and nice folks. My tire choice was upgraded due to a stocking mishap. Very accommodating. Work was pretty slow I admit especially since I had an appointment Other then that good experience and I know my car is in much better shape then when I came in!

I have been taking all my vehicles (kids vehicles too) to Jim Moody since 2000. I have always dealt with Randy behind the counter and Randy always called me by name. Greatest service guy ever. They have done all my oil changes, tire rotates and brakes for all our cars and trucks. Always polite, always professional and family owned which means a lot. I would rather give my business to a local family than a large chain. Moodys has always been good to me.

I needed an alignment but didnt need an appointment, thankfully. Drove in and was out in decent time. They also advised me of small part that I needed which they took care of as well. Its been a while since I had an alignment so Im still getting used to how much better my car drives! Btw the price was also comparable to others I had checked out. I get great service every time I go there...

Thank you for letting me write a review. We had a truck come out to our house to fix a flat tire. He came promptly which was appreciated and fixed it efficiently. On driving after it was fixed I found the tire he fixed had 20psi above recommended pressure and he did not check any of the other tires who all needed more air. This meant I had to make a special trip to get all the tires adjusted. In speaking at the office I found his tire gauge was broken which seemed odd to me for a tire professional. Thought that would be a must!

I have worked mostly with Steve and I cant say enough great words about him! Steve is a great and caring employee. He treats you awesome and really listens to your needs. Great service and fair price. We had a leaking radiator. Same day replacement. No cost creep. Checked radiator hoses and indicated they were OK and did not need replacement as did another place.

Take all our work vehicles here. Nine times out of 10 the service is friendly and flawless. The one time I did have an issue with a lot of vibration with some new tires they installed, the team was quick to take care of it via rebalancing free of charge and with minimal headache. I initially went to several different places looking for new tires, new wheels, and a leveling kit for our F-150. No one seemed to want my business. I found very little knowledge, service, or follow-up. Then, I went to Moody Tire and talked to Jimmy Moody. Completely different experience. Jimmy knew exactly what I needed and guided me through the purchase and installation from beginning to end. Tons of knowledge, great service, and excellent follow-through. Its been awhile since I had an experience like this. Phenomenal. Ill be back.

Friendly and professional. I had an unexpected oil leak while traveling to Franklin. The guys were able to diagnose and fix the issue in no time. Theres a reason theyve been in business since 1944. I highly recommend.

Third time catching Moodys NOT rotating tires with an oil change.... 1st time I accepted their apology as an oversight; 2nd time I became suspicious; 3rd time I have now lost faith in Moodys integrity. Also charged $10 for a dry rotted oil drain plug gasket that I was not consulted about or shown. I WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MOODYS AGAIN. If Moodys will attempt to take advantage of a 52 year old man imagine what they will do to your Grandma....
