Jan and her loving team are super wonderful and work tirelessly to save, protect, love, and rescue cats and kittens in need. This group should be applauded for the wonderful and meaningful work they do each and every day. I have been in rescue for 20 years and know a great rescue when I see one. Thank you Paws Cause for everything you do for cats and people!!!!!!

I have been a foster for several rescues for 4 years now. I have determined that The Paws Cause Rescue is now only 1 of 2 rescues I will ever foster for. I am totally supported in whatever comes up with a cat. Janet, the rescues director, is available at all hours of the day and night when there is a medical crisis, and boy I have had a few with mamas and kittens!!! Every effort is made to get pets good homes. People are vetted -- meaning references and veterinarians are called and information confirmed. What is in the best interest of the cat is what Jans goal is. I couldnt ask for a better rescue to foster for.

This rescue has incredibly kind and compassionate volunteers and fosters. Everyone that I worked with was patient and willing to work closely with me on any questions or concerns I had. Their cats are clearly well cared for and the volunteers all love them and work to ensure each cat finds a good home. At the end of the day, I did fall in love with a kitten from another rescue, but whenever I am ready to adopt again I will definitely be contacting The Paws Cause.NOTE: I did ask a volunteer at the rescue directly about the claims in the other negative reviews and they provided me with enough information to make me feel comfortable in saying that they are still worth working with, and you shouldnt necessarily believe everything you read.I am not going to substantiate or deny anyones claims as I do not know the entirety of the situation, but I do not feel that the previous negative reviews (that were clearly re-posted with different accounts) should be a reflection on this rescue as a whole and on everyone that works with them.

I have adopted 3 cats thru jan’s paws cause. 2 from kitty brew cafe and one from PetSmart. Jan is super caring and hard working in all she is doing for homeless cats. I have spoken with her a couple times and her caring and empathy is so apparent for this rescue. The cats our family adopted will be loved and have a great life. Every cat deserves as much.

These people adopted out my daughters cat (Louie) & refused to give her any information. He was part of our family. Janet Bollinger told my daughter that her cat had a new forever home. Really sad. What rescue. Wish I could give zero stars.

I wish I could give this wanna be rescue ZERO STARS My cat went missing from Fairfield (City)On the corner of Wyoming Avenue & Redwood Dr.Louie (answers to his name)5yrs old. (About to be 6)Declawed (front only)NeuteredGrey & white (his white is literally snow white)Pink nose 💓Very sweet, great with dogs & any other animal (except mice lol)LOVES catnip, whip cream, sour cream & chipotle pinto beans lolHelp me bring my Louie Kuitton home!!!Louie went missing May 8th in Fairfield City (Butler County) Ive been searching since the first day because I freak out when I cant find him and he is/was not allowed outside. After posting on every lost/found pet page, hanging flyers, severallll posts on the NextDoor app, on 8/30, I discovered Cincinnati- lost/found dogs, cats & pets on Facebook. I scrolled through at least 200+ pictures, until I finally found Louie ( & realized that he had been shaved) but it was a miracle to see that he was at least alive!!He was supposedly found May 16th in Liberty Township, on the corner of Mindy Manor Ct & Sunrise view Circle. One person said he was found in a bush, another woman said he was with the kids at the bus stop.Unfortunately, I then discovered that he had been put into a rescue called A Paws Cause at the beginning of June. He was then put into a foster home with a sweet old woman until he was adopted at the end of August. This is all the info I have gathered so far .... I dont know where he is currently. I dont know if he is safe, happy, loved, or comfortable..... I am still offering a cash reward or a reimbursement for whatever was paid to adopt him....I started to lose hope, but now that I know hes alive, I cant give up on him now. He is my world. I picked him from his litter when he was 6wks. old, at the Eaton Animal Shelter, then took him home when he was 8 wks. old.I appreciate any and everything that anyone can do or tell me.... I have plenty of proof he is mine.☆☆☆ Note:Forgot to mention this -- I got in touch with the woman that found him... I said his name was Louie.... & *shocked* she said how did you know his name is Louie?I said because hes MY cat? The real question is how do YOU know his name is Louie?! She said it was the name on his collar .... which means, WHEN SHE FOUND HIM, HIS COLLAR WAS ON. SO SHE SAW MY NAME/NUMBER & DIDNT CALL ME!!!!! 🤬She refused to tell me the rescue she took him to after already keeping him for a month! Then after that phone call, she blocked me & called the cops. But the cops made her tell me the name of the rescue.
