I had a leak in an outside pipe for the second time (first time about 10 years ago using a different company). I called and was scheduled for the next day. The guys showed up when they were supposed to, were nice and courteous. Knee deep in mud in the cold, they continued until it was fixed. Now days it says a lot when a company shows up and works hard to fix the problem. I would definitely use them again.

After a long 17 year run on my old water heater it was time for an upgrade. They came out and diagnosed the issue on the old one and 2 days later had a new one installed. Only took about an hour and a half and the guys that installed it were professional and efficient.

Great experience this morning. Called with a plumbing problem and with in thirty minutes a crew was at my house and fixed the problem. They were courteous, knowledgeable and fast. I even requested a quote for more jobs that need fixing. So happy to have such a great go to plumbing company.

They worked on this for over 30 years when my mother owned the house. I placed a call to them and a woman who works in the office was extremely rude, tone of voice was very unprofessional and absolutely no people skills! They lost my business as a result!

Had my central air unit and furnace replaced on 5/24/19, job was excellent! The workers that came out to do the job were professional. Price was $200 less than another quote I was given. The came on time, worked hard and cleaned up their mess afterwards. Very pleased with the job. Gary Bess

The guy they sent to my house was pushy and didnt meet expectations set by the friendly gal at the home office. I had to run them off. Seemed like they were trying to take advantage of me while I was down. It may have been the guys first time on his own. The next plumber I had at my house, 15 min later, replaced the valve on my water heater per the gas company direction, no problem, in a calm professional manor.

Had work done on a valve, seating, etc... in a shower. They came fast and got the work done in no time. In removing an old seating they had to use a torch, torch put a hole in the valve, came back fast to assess and put a temporary fix then came back the next day and replaced it with no problems. I was leery because of a past bad experience but it seems they have all new crew. Glad I called. Kelly was great and knows his stuff.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. My A/C went out this past Friday in 90 degree weather. Someone came out Friday within a half hour, yesterday another tech, Mark, came after 5:00 and got it fixed. He worked very hard to find an affordable fix, and for a $11 part and some labor, I had air last night. Cant say enough good things about this company - very pleased. I had used them for plumbing and now they are my source for HVAC. Very pleased with the skill and courtesy I received from Whitehead-Hancock.

Had a persistent issue with my AC that was never resolved by another service. Called Whitehead-Hancock and they had a crew out within the hour. James and Jessie stuck with it until they found the issue . They were very courteous and real professionals. Highly recommended.

I too wish it were possible to give zero stars. I will never do business with this company again and do not recommend them to anyone else. They were to install a new hot water heater in my home. When the installers arrived, I noticed the tank was damaged. It clearly had been dropped at some point, but the installers tried to assure me that the damage was only to the exterior, and the hot water heater would work properly. I then asked if the price of the heater could be reduced since it was damaged. They spoke with someone named Joe who told them they could take $25 off the price, or they would install another heater the next day. I called the office and told the receptionist that was not acceptable, nor could I take another day off work. She said she would have the owner call me. The owner then called the installers, not me, and told them to take $50 off. I called the office back because the owner was supposed to call me, not his installers. When he finally did call, he was extremely rude. He reiterated that my choices were to take the heater as is with $50 off, or have another installed the next morning. I asked him whether he knew the hot water heater would work properly, and he stated he did not know. I then asked for an additional 6 months of warranty coverage which he refused. He informed me that it was my responsibility as a homeowner to take care of my home. Seriously??? Isnt that what I was attempting to do? What about a business owners responsibility to deliver undamaged products to customers? I did not feel I had any choice other than take the damaged heater (with $50 off) because my current heater was leaking hot water driving up both my water and gas bills and could not miss another day of work. I will NEVER again do business with this company.

We needed to replace and relocate the outlet pipes for our sump pump, and we needed it done quickly. Whitehead-Hancock came, evaluated, gave us a price quote and did the work, all within our timeframe and budget. They did quality work, on time, on budget, and we have not had to worry about it since. They are a reputable, locally- and family-owned company thats been around for 100 years or so. Highly recommended.

James and Whitehead Hancock has pretty much re-plumbed my entire house, and previously helped me. They have always been professional, done excellent work, and are a pleasure to work with. They will always be my first call for all of my plumbing needs.

I had two service calls in a week span for the same issue. The first time obviously didnt work. Well, not their problem. They charged me full price for the same issue. So snaking the drain twice was over $500! Call Dauenhauer! UPDATE: thanks for the owner responding. I appreciate it. Although, Im still out the money. Ill call you next time!

$89 for a free estimate.Response to response - you guys installed a entirely new ac unit in our house. You had to come out and charge it the two following years after the install for $89 each time, the second time the tech found a leak that he said had obviously been there since the install, so I’m not sure what I got for free. The guy that came out was awesome, so much so I asked him about some other work for a friend and he told me you guys did free estimates. I recommended you to my friend, you guys came out and were told the unit was super old and needed to be replaced, he said he’d get the estimate back to us in a few days and charged $89. That’s why I left the review, I don’t even care about the poor install and leak or the $180 you got me for having to charge my poorly installed system twice, but the $89 free estimate is a joke. I called your business and they said you’d call back which you didn’t and we never got that $89 estimate.

Jimmy came out to fix my water heater very promptly. He was not only very efficient at diagnostics, but also very timely. I highly recommend this company!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. We called them to come out for an HVAC-related leak and everything seemed reasonable. They tech left saying they would order the part and then come back. Days and days went by with no update. When I would call, I would not get a returned call. The leak stopped and we were making do, so I figured it wasnt worth calling someone else. A mistake on my part. Nearly 3 weeks later the part still has not come in on the day they said it would. A tech was supposed to come back out today and no call, no show. Still no part. Every time wed call wed get a different person who did not know what was going on. There are a ton of HVAC places out there to choose from, so dont choose these guys.

Very satisfied with this company. I went thru 2 different plumbing companies in Lawrenceburg. One of those never once called me back after i left 4 voicemails. The other one came out, fixed something, it apparently didnt fix the entire problem because it kept leaking,so i called them back and i couldnt ever get them to show up! so i called whitehead hancock and they were extremely professional. they called me before coming to my house. helped me with my leaking, and were actually quite cheap even though they had to charge me extra because i was in lawrenceburg. will definitely call them for any plumbing or HVAC issue i ever have in the future. super pleased!

Had me waist my time driving to a rental property in Frankfort for a quote only to tell me they will contact me with a quote . It has been more than a week since and when I call they just give me the run around and say we will have someone call me right back and never return phone calls . They suck!!! If you call and tell them what you want expect not to get all what you was wanting done. Plus they charge $125 an hour and will bring more than 1 person to make sure they bill you well. My toilet now leaks my ice maker doesnt work.. STAY AWAY!!!!!!
