I love using that site. However, I’m having problems with my microphone and my doctor can never hear me so unfortunately she has to call me during our video chat. I have to look and see what’s going on but other than that I love love love love this way of communication it’s very helpful and I think it benefits everybody thank you

Posting on behalf of a family member who has received medication management here for several years. Communication around refills and appointments has sometimes been challenging. HOWEVER. Family member has been contacting office for close to a month now to get a refill of a med that makes it possible for them to function at work and in college, and keeps anxiety/depression at bay. No response. They even spoke directly to their psychiatrist about the urgency of the matter a week or so ago at telehealth appt, as they have been WITHOUT their medication now for around 6 weeks. He assured them it would be immediately dealt with. It wasnt. We finally contacted their PCP in desperation as they were approaching a state of severe anxiety over the situation. PCP immediately and professionally moved on it.The worst part of this ordeal has been the sense of betrayal. Mental health professionals are supposed to help us toward a state of wellness. What is going on there PCA/Lifestance??

This is a late review. I contacted this company when it was Psychological Care Associates, A Division of Child & Family Psychological Services, PLLC. Im keeping in mind that since the name has changed, perhaps the company has improved.I contacted this company for a family member. The appointment was for a medication management issue, which required seeing an MD which should have been a psychiatrist.I was told the appointment would be with a psychologist first, and then the patient would be referred to a psychiatrist. The contact individual said that would allow for the patient to see the psychiatrist much faster. That never happened. There was an insufficiently explained run-around about seeing the psychiatrist. Keep in mind this was for medication. The patient never got an appointment and ran out of medication before being able to get an appointment with another doctor.In my opinion, this is inexcusable. I would have posted much sooner but I was so outraged by the treatment the patient received, I wanted to wait until I could do it with less emotionality. After a while, it slipped my mind; however, I just ran across some paperwork from that office and I realize the emotionality will always be with me. Mental health and medications are nothing to be taken lightly and in this case, the patients needs were disregarded entirely.

The psychological care offered here is professional and effective. Besides that, the offices are easy to get to, clean, and the secretarial services are always friendly and helpful.
