This gym used to be great. The classes now are all silver sneaker like. Not challenging, the instructors hardly pay attention to the students, just yell out orders, they dont even participate in the class themselves. Management could care less, if you can even track them down.

This gym is BEAUTIFUL! They have every piece of equipment you could possibly need, the staff is awesome AND the members are so friendly/welcoming. They recently changed ownership and management which has been a game changer!

Wanted to come try this place. Called to ask questions about the 3 day trial. They told me it was just 1 day not 3 which was fine. I applied for the trial pass online. Never got anything. I guess they have to call you for you to get it. Never received a call what so ever. Usually gyms will send the pass right away.

I am reviewing the Cryotherapy. Under the new management Summer and Chris are unprofessional and have given me the runaround. Summer passes the blame onto her new employees for her untruths. They do not know how to operate the Cryotherapy machine. I went for a session and what mess up! I know more about the operation,benefits and dangers from using this machine for a year with Jose. They refused to refund my money for pre-paid session. I truly was scared for my safety when they said come out and we will try this again. Cryotherapy can KILL you if the operator is not throughly trained to operate the machine. Dont put your life in their hands. Will never go back or recommend!

Good gym, but unfortunately their hours are not accommodating during the week. They are the only gym in the area that closes at 8. Their pre-covid hours were much better. I rarely can make it there anymore after work and when I do Im unable to finish a full workout. Im now paying for a membership that I rarely get to use. I know that I am not the only member effected by these hours. When I am there until 8 there are many people clearly scrambling to finish a workout. Im really disappointed that they havent changed the hours back to their original hours. Otherwise, it is a good gym with nice employees and a welcoming atmosphere.

Finding a different gym was the best thing. Late 2016 I did a 5 day trial at Evolve. From the moment I walked in I had a negative feeling about the staff and the rules (it was all about what you couldnt do, like spin bikes are only for spin class, and not about what I was looking for in a gym). After the trial at Evolve I got a trial at 3 other gyms nearby in order to NOT give Evolve my business. But out of convenience and against how I felt I joined. One event after another I regretted it. Other than the negative personal experiences I had with the staff, events that would affect future members are the following: at one point half the equipment disappeared and I was told it was space for new equipment. After a year I asked about the new equipment and was told it was on backorder. Very shortly after I found out the gym was moving and downsizing (therefore for over a year was lied to about getting new equipment). In the 2.5yrs that I belonged the monthly fee increased 3 times (the last time we were told the fees would not increase after the downsized move yet months later the fees went up). The locker rooms are tiny and impossible for more than 3 people to change at a time. The equipment is so close together you are practically touching the person next to you. It looks like the gym spent more money on light fixtures and tile than on anything a member would benefit from.

I was great to go back and start the cryotherapy again!!! Jose takes good care of my boyfriend and I. The service is really good there.

Hands down best gym around!! The facility itself is very clean, well kept, has all types of equipment to fit different kinds of training and offers a variety of classes. The staff are awesome! Super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! The trainers are great to work with and cater to you personally. Ive been going here for years and always walk out with a great mindset.

This is a great place to go workout. The staff is very pleasant and friendly and always eager to help those who need it. They have become more like family rather than gym employees! Definitely recommend Evolve fitness in Framingham!

The staffers are very positive, friendly and courteous. They seem like they really care about the members. The classes are excellent and meet my needs. I am on my fourth personal trainer and they have all been great, but Joe Cobb is the best so far. The place is clean, with thoughtful amenities and occasionally nice surprises like the free bags, apples, events. You do a wonderful job and Evolve Fitness is an important & happy part of my life. Special recognition to Rachel at the front Desk, Big Mike, and the very conscientious Hugo.

My husband and I tried multiple fitness places and this is the best! It’s spacious, clean, and has many high quality group classes. The instructors for these classes are diverse, each has their speciality to offer. This fitness provides us a sense of community and everyone is so friendly to each other. We recently moved to a property that is 20 minutes driving but we still decide to come Evolve Fitness. Highly recommended.

I love this gym. Been here for about 3 years now. They open nice and early which is great for me and my schedule. Everyone at the front desk to the personal trainers are super nice and helpful. Plenty of classes and nice extras like a sauna. Ive brought over 5 people to this gym and they love it as well. Plus the price is great for everything you get and they recently got a bunch of new equipment!

I have really enjoyed the classes and the personal trainers who I have had. The monthly fee is very reasonable and I like the facility. I dont go as often as I would like, and it is simply a schedule issue for me. I really enjoyed the sauna, on cold days it makes me want to go! The staff has always been very friendly and super accommodating. I do recommend this gym for a more personal and friendly atmosphere than the big franchise gyms who sign you up and dont feel the need to be concerned about your attendance or progress. Evolve is competitive in their pricing and delivers a more welcoming and responsive to their members needs than other gyms I have tried to keep my interest and motivation going. Go Evolve!

Ive been member of Evolve for a few years. I mostly do exercise classes in the morning, which have a great variety. All the instructors Ive worked with are fantastic, engaging, fun, and always helpful if any questions arise. The facility is clean and well kept. Plenty of treadmills/ellipticals, I never had a problem getting one without waiting.

I enjoy the classes the most. I love Body Pump and Cycling are my favorites. The gym is conveniently located for me and the class times fit my schedule as well. Highly recommended!

Great place to workout. Dana is an amazing personal trainer!All the staff is very polite and respectful. The gym is always very clean. What i like about this gym is that it has many variations of equipments and great classes to suit all tastes.

Only good things to say about Evolve Fitness! I have enjoyed being a member there. Employees there are friendly and they offer a variety of classes for all different fitness levels.

One of the easiest location at the corner of California Ave and Route 9 West. The EVOLVE unit here is run with efficient friendly staff, and the equipment and facilities are Class A 1. The fees might look competitive, but the special from Personal Trainers could make a dent in your pocket. Otherwise, many cardio, weight machines and serving the membership well and is open most hours, including Sundays from 7 am. Enjoy

My butt (and arms, core, shoulders, etc) has been whipped into shape. Lucio, the owner of the gym, makes everyone feel like a pro-athlete- even if you cant do a pull up to save your life. Kenny, my trainer, may as well be a personal trainer for the celeb crowd- always pushing everyone to do their best. Thank you guys so much!!!

Small and cramped since moving to new facility. Small locker room. Tight parking. Sauna always out of order. Few classes.Trying to cancel membership even due to their different location with smaller cramped amenities and it’s pretty much impossible due to the terms and conditions.If you are considering joining, I’d highly recommend trying monthly membership first so you don’t get stuck in contract to a gym that’s not worth the price.

I love the Body Combat and Body Pump classes. The instructors are great! Great selection of machines and theres enough that you never really have to wait very long at all to use them. Staff is great as well!

Just joined to stay fit while visiting the area. LOVE IT. Turn on the Sauna, go lift, then cook myself. They also have cryotherapy. Serious lifters here as well as many cardio enthusiasts.

Great gym. Been here since September 2015. Spacious and clean with lots of equipment and trainers. Also a good deal of group activities. Great bang for the big bucks.

I’ve been a member for 6 years. I’ve brought quite a few family members and friends, and we all love Evolve. Even my toddler has grown up here and loves all the staff members.

Ive been very pleased with my sessions with a personal trainer. Ben is always ready with new challenges and I feel myself getting stronger. Im going to miss him when he leaves, but am confident that Bruna will continue the course.

The front desk and manager were super welcoming and made sure they answered all of our questions. Personally, I love that they have powerlifting equipment and lots of functional training options!

Great equipment for weights and cardio and anything see you could want to do at a gym. Even when its crowded you never have to wait. Sauna is great too.

Had a membership with this gym 5 years ago, canceled the membership, followed up with a email to make sure it was canceled though everything was done, but no they send me to collection saying I never canceled the membership and now I have to pay for those 2 years with of gym I didnt used. Hands down for this company that dont do their work!

Professional and Trained fitness instructors are there to support my fitness goals which is important to me, because I lack the focus to do that on my own. So I give a big thumbs up to the trainers over there at Evolve.

Cluttered, awkward gym. All kinds of charges I was not aware I had to pay aside from the monthly membership cost! I couldnt talk to anyone for information on personal training they claim to offer which was my main desire for going, no one seemed to know anything even the manager of the department and everyone was very rude when I inquired into it. The gym is just a disaster, maybe Cambridge is better hopefully but unfortunately I will not be returning to this gym and neither will my husband or our friends. Very disappointed.

The parking lot is full of pot holes and frequently full during busy hours when people get out of work. The staff there is friendly. The equipment is largely out of date. The A/C didnt work or didnt get turned on. Also, DO NOT TRUST the employees when you sign up. I was told when I agreed to a 6 month membership, which was paid in full that I would have the OPTION to rejoin at that time. I obviously did not want to, so at the end of my 6 months I stopped going. I recently received a letter in the mail while I was on vacation that I owed some finance company (ABC) $200. I informed the woman that I had not rejoined. She insists I owe the money anyway, and that I needed to send them written notification and I would have to pay for the last two months because I had not done so. AVOID THIS PLACE!

Is it possible to give zero stars?My son cancelled his membership just before leaving for Marine Boot Camp. Evolve refused to process the membership cancellation and fully intends to stick it to him forever.Disgusting, predatory business.

Very affordable, has all the equipment you need, classes are great, love body combat, Tvs everywhere, staff friendly, and love the bar with protein shakes and food. Also, very convenient location to get to.

I wasnt too happy when they increase my monthly rate without any notice and when I called them, they said I would still have to pay the inceasing rate until the end of my contract. Now I have a bill which I think should be a r write off because I refuse to pay. Thats not what I signed up for. Besides that, the gym was awesome, clean, and had every equipment you needed for a perfect workout. All their equipment were new.

I have been a member of Evolve in Cambridge for six years. I was initially drawn to Evolve because of the excellent daycare, but I’ve stayed for many other reasons: It’s affordable, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the group classes are great.

Nice people, good facilities, and good classes (free) make it a good place.

Clean gym. Great amenities. Clean. Wide array of classes. Crowded at times, but what gym isnt? Either go after hours or early morning.

I say these statements and clauses based on the way that I was treated at the end of my connection with this particular business. I was treated completely terribly. I need not say here publicly. But the point is, I resigned. I could have done the two week notice, but management seem to be setting me up for termination. Ive done nothing but a plus service for this company the whole entire time that Ive been there. And on top of that I have done much work for them without even getting paid. Any other personal trainers that want to be with this company make sure that you know and understand that you do not get a base pay. And on top of that youre going to be asked to do many things for free simply because of the fact that you are an employee there. Youre not just a personal trainer. You are everything. Cleaning Janitorial heavy loads carrying xceteraTHE PLACE NOT TO BE!!! I have what it takes but I am no longer there! Just tell MR.T. your needs and wants and I..will adhere...& create the best possible program for you. Everything I do is based on science. There is no guessing. The gym was okay. There seems to be some false advertising with a monthly fees of $20 while charging you extra in an annual equipment fees which is a hidden cost when you sign the contract. They seem to provide a lot of facilities but the place is small. The day care space is ridiculously small which makes me not wanting to bring my kids. My biggest complaint is about the shower facility. They look nice but there is no water pressure at all and the water is not hot enough. This kind of defeat the purpose of having a shower facility when people cannot use it and I cannot come to gym and shower and go right to work.

They work with a third party Crook called ABC Financial Services Inc that hits you with an annual fee and they say its mandatory for equipment fixing. Such garbage and deception. this third party uses your credit card information without authorization. i have had it with these gyms especially this gym. the parking lot is crowded and the staff is deceptive. not all the staff there are a few good ones in there, but the rest are conditioned demons.

Staff is pleasant, equipment works, everyone goes about their business, nothing to take issue with.

I have fun while training & she also considers my wrist problem & changes the training to avoid putting stress on it . I love how flexible she is when I schedule, rescheduled or cancel sessions, . I appreciate the availability of the female Gym .

Everyone I know seems to be really surprised with how much my appearance has changed in the past few months. I no longer look overweight and old because I have lost the chubbiness that was around my face, and that double chin that I have had for years is now finally gone!!

Came in to check out the $10 /month promotion I heard on the radio. Turns out theres a hidden $149 join fee, or at least thats what I was quoted. No thanks.

Once I had completed my three sessions with Chris the trainer, I felt comfortable with taking on other fitness opportunities that were available at Evolve Fitness.

Excellent gym, lots of equipment and never too crowded!!! Reasonable price for all thats included.

The training staff at Evolve Fitness teaches you how you should only be accountable to yourself, so that if you happen to have a few cheats, you will know that you are not disappointing yourself.

Is the staff. They know me by name, always say hello and Goodbye. To me this goes a long way. Most businesses have lost that customer service approach but not at Evolve.

This place could be cleaner !!!! The room where we do all the classes are allways dirty! The floor should be clean after all - everyone gets sweaty in there, it looks like they never clean/ desinfect that floor. Im just waiting for my contract to be done and Im gone... my friends think the same!---- Oh they give you such a hard time to cancel you contract!!!
