Rip off company which requires multiple steps to terminate contract. They will not cancel the membership without going online to create member profile, insert multiple other steps, or in person. Person I spoke with they are bending their rules to accommodate for pandemic. Awful customer service and truly a strange to make so churning. When I worked out prior to the pandemic, it was fine. I’m very disappointed with this business, clearly CEO mismanagement.

Unfortunately, like many gyms, this particular gym has unfair cancellation policies. What is worse is that they fail to adhere to military family member laws with respect to needing to cancel a membership due to a move for military orders. The gym should quite frankly be ashamed of themselves for disrespecting military families in the name of grabbing money. I hope supporters of the military leave this establishment for a more supportive environment.Update: in response to your comment, I suggest you do not make specific references to my account in a public forum unless you would also like to test privacy violations to your infractions. You also prove my point and forget you are perfectly capable of making exceptions in certain circumstances to your own policies on top of what you are required to do by law. I am done with your establishment and hope others consider this instance when deciding where - among the many options - they can go for a gym membership.

Beware, cancellation of membership is very difficult. You have to cancel in person when a manager is available, which they arent during morning classes. Also, once you find a manager they charge 2 additional months during the cancel process. Id look for a gym that is easier to deal with if you have a busy schedule.

While signing up, I was told there would only be a change of fee when I downgrade.At the time of switching, I am asked to pay another annual fee on top of the changing fee because it is a new contract. In just 3 months into this membership, I am asked to pay another annual fee.Very rude manager. He was on vacation so I was not able to make changes and was only given 2 days to plan this with him and no one else is eligible to help with downgrade.Very frustrating.Bad experience with the manager.

I rarely submit to these sorts of online reviews. However - a recent experience with this particular Fit Factory has left me no choice. Very unprofessional, lacking basic customer service and communication. The company had accidentally charged our credit card thousands of $$$s - and they are refusing to negotiate even a compromise with a partial refund and the remaining payment toward membership credit. Its really a shame - they have an opportunity to do the right thing, and now well have to resort to legal action and dispute/block the credit charges. If we arent successful - we eat thousands of $$$s. I recognize that they are a business, but they should also have a conscience.

Horrible experience - avoid this place!! 2 free months turned into fees, pre-payments due etc. They refused to let me cancel (even though I was in person) and wouldn’t take my cc as form of payment (only checking account).I have been trying to speak to a regional manager for weeks. Local GM is awful. Gym isn’t great either.One of the personal trainers was great but he couldn’t help with anything.Don’t waste your time!

Wicked horrible customer service, communication and very poor management of staff.I called to cancel my membership and was told I had to come in in person. I live in another State but came back to cancel in person because I have not used my membership in over a year because of Covid and not living there anymore.I then spoke with Tara Berube that I was able to complete an immediate cancellation because of the situation, but I still would have to pay the yearly membership fee even tho I have not used the facility in over a year. I was also told by her no other fees would be charged, and she said she waived any other charges if they existed and also said if I was charged after my date of cancellation she told me to call the club for reimbursement. I was then charged the next day for charges I was explicitly told would not happen. I called the club to ask for reimbursement as instructed by Tara and was refused to be dealt with and receive any reimbursement. They told me anything verbally said or promised to me by the staff was not true and should never have happened. This was never told to me in person when inquiring about my membership cancellation.Such horrible communication, and an absolute scam for your money!! I would never recommend this gym to anyone, very terrible.

After using the facility today I noticed that the sauna was not working properly. I went to the front desk and told an employee that the sauna was not getting hot and the employee stated yea I have heard that and went back to playing on the employees phone. Honestly, not a big fan. Wish I didnt pay for the whole year up front but after the one year I will be looking somewhere else.

Beware, this club is a SCAM. They will not cancel your membership. We cannot go in for health reasons and asked for membership cancellations and were told they wouldnt do it until we come in physcally, which we cannt do for health reasons. There is no phone number or contact info for corporate. This is a typical GYM SCAM run by these scammers.

I’ve been a member of FF Foxboro since it opened in 2017. I’ve been very pleased with the place, the variety of equipment, and professionalness of the staff.I am particularly commending my personal trainer, Fallynne. She deserves all the accolades, especially MOST MOTIVATING.She knows my limits and pushes me to excel. She doesn’t overdo it, when I can’t do something. If you live in the Mansfield/Foxboro area. Give Fit Factory a try!

Joey motivates me to do my best on both my diet and exercise. Ive had several other trainers (as well as several functional doctors) who could not help me lose weight. If you want a serious workout without the cliques and gimmicks of other clubs, go to Fit Factory.I’ve been taking the FFIT classes 6 days a week for a little over a month now. The club has always been seriously cleaned thanks to Jo Nolan. The front staff have always been welcoming, and have taken their time to understand my needs. ALL of the members have always shown courtesy and respect by keeping the equipment clean and keeping their masks on. Never once have I seen a single person not follow the rules/protocol. The FFIT instructors Liz Taber and Fallynne Blanchette and have been absolutely supportive and understanding, making sure I’m doing the moves safely and properly, while keeping me motivated to improve. In one month I don’t even recognize me, in the absolute best way. Thank you all!

Horrible customer service and communication from staff. I called to cancel my membership and was told I had to come in in person even though I live in another State. # instructor awardsIm writing about Ryan Lapadula. Im nominating him for a motivational award. Let me tell you why. I once gravitated to a personal trainer that was highly energetic, loud and in- charge. I thought thats what I needed to motivate me to reach my goals. Didnt work. I found myself presurred to push beyond my limits and struggled with the fear of hurting myself. Then I was paired with Ryan. He motivates me by making me feel comfortable and calm. He has a way of reading how im feeling. Is able to judge what I can do and can rework my program on the fly to fit what Im able to do at anytime. That makes me feel confident. That makes me trust him. Thats how Ive been able to reach my goals and them some. Its no wonder Ive been working with him for 14 months. Did I say I just signed up for 100 sessions with him?! Need I say more?!

I love going to this gym almost each day. I not only feel safe with health/COVID regulations, but I constantly see employees cleaning and ensuring mask are worn correctly. I have found a trainer who takes time to set up appointments, sessions and even goes above and beyond to help me learn about my nutritional impact for my fitness journey. I vote Fallynne for the best energy #instructorawards at the Foxboro location! Whether I am training with her or not, she always takes time to say hi to people she knows, always has upbeat energy to keep me going through some crazy training times and never lets you forget why youre there working on the best version of yourself.

This gym is a joke. Canceled my membership and they still charged me for one more month even though I canceled before the month ended. Equipment is constantly broken or warn down. Lets tool-bag members walk around with no shoes on during a pandemic. I had the upgraded membership that allowed me to bring a guest for free and get discounts on drinks and out of no where they stopped giving me discounts and werent able to explain why that changed and why I got them multiple times in the past. Theyre lucky they have no real competition in the area. Had to sign up to a gym close to my work in Norwood.

While the gym is great and clean, they got terrible moral and they steal money.. During covid I payed my full balance without missing a month and now that they opened back up they expect us to pay half of the membership when we should technically pay 0$ for however long they were closed for. I canceled my membership due to safety matters and they didnt even refund me for those months being closed and I still had to pay one extra month. Such a money grab. Ridiculous!!!.

Once they get your credit card they will keep on charging it even if you canceled!I called Fit factory back in March to cancel my subscription and it was confirmed however in July my Discover CC was charged and today in September was charged again as well for no reason. I didn’t step to FF since March yet what was more surprisingly to me that when I disputed the transaction fit factory falsefully claimed the money! The Dingbat who took the call had zero knowledge of anything going on as far as prices, hrs really anything to do with the place she works at? ? They seemed very disorganized . Got sent to collections for this gym even though I have never seen it. I used to go to fit focus, they closed, I assume, and apparently sold my membership to fit factory, then fit factory wasn’t getting paid because the payment had not been authorized for them to run. Then they send everybody on the account to collections, not just the payor. It’s a quality racket. I’m sure the gym itself is good, but their business practices are not professional.

Post Covid opening gym is clean as ever w a few minor Covid changes.M-F from 1-2pm closed for cleaning. Shorter hrs Sat and Sun not needed w in-house spot cleaning.Separate in/out to keep tabs on max capacity. You scan in & out.The weight machines are 6/ft apart. Every other cardio machine marked out of use to establish distance so less bicycle or elliptical or whatever on the front row. I didn’t check the treadmills but assume similar.While we’re on the front row...It would be appreciated if management would tune a TV to CNN or MSNBC permanently. One of the end TVs never fails to have Fox News going and this is noticed.Perhaps the management would appreciate that the majority of Mansfield and Foxboro voters, their prospective clientele, voted, shall we say, “non -Fox News” in 2016.But I digress... back to the present.Topic: Masks.If you want your business to continue, I suggest signage stating “masks required at all times” vs. the current “please wear a mask (properly)”. Major retailers Costco, Target, Walmart, CVS, Starbucks and other national chains are taking the lead in the absence of a national mandate. Surely you could follow their lead and protect your business, your staff, and customers. If you don’t, as attendance rises, cases will surely spread as more people return to the gym, more don’t comply, and we all lose. You’ll be shutdown.I bring this up because after a few visits this opening week some people (and it only takes one) just don’t seem to understand basic germ transmission. I easily counted 5-10 people (depending on capacity at the time wearing masks half on or none at all w cloth around their neck. I was stunned to see en elderly woman on a bicycle with her mask hanging off her ear reading away, but the younger crowd are the bigger offenders, namely, high school kids and early 20’s age.With that said, I want to make clear that majority of people did wear their mask properly. But, as capacity increases to the max 100 (correct me if I’m wrong) odds are more people will not respectfully comply.I attended w 20 people, increasing to 40. And another day of about 20 total for a shorter time.Perhaps you could get the message out louder via clear blunt imaging on the big screen (instead of the suggested msg in the right third).Maybe give out a branded black washable clothe mask, one per customer, at check in.Good marketing, don’t ya think?I didn’t suspend or cancel my membership during lockdown because I want this gym to succeed.I hope you will take every measure necessary to do the same.

Staff is super friendly, space is open and big so I dont feel claustrophobic while I exercise. Even when it gets crowded theres enough options that allow me to get a great workout. The amenities are super. The free classes offered for members are awesome - my wife really loves them, especially because she can put our kid(s) in the daycare room while she exercises. Overall its simply a great experience. My only suggestion for improvement would be to get a few more little trinkets to put on the beautiful new equipment stand you just installed.

Sooo glad I joined. Ive been telling all my friends. The weights are all new and they even have a functional fitness section. My wife and 2yr old daughter visit at times and they love the child care room and the womens only section. Not to mention the sauna and steam rooms are nice. The gym is usually busy mid day but Ive never had to wait on a machine! And with the VIP membership I can have a guest come free EVERYDAY!!!! Safe to say I like it.

Love the gym but have honestly been pretty disappointed lately with lack of communication. Two times in the past few weeks weve been waiting in a class and then nobody shows up. I understand things happen, but it would be nice for a manager to come in right away and let us know if class is cancelled or what is going on rather than everyone standing around waiting and wasting our time. Other than that, I love the classes and the instructors; and the gym is always very clean.

Horrible customer service. I had a one year membership and when the next year came around and I had already moved they required me to send proof of relocation although I paid a year in advance. Customer service also requested me to fill out a form in which I was told if I mark up any other parts than my signature the document will be void the other part they did not want me to write anything on had ratings for my experience which they obviously knew I would put a 1/5. The manager was horrible to deal with I do not recommend this place at all. Super sleezy

The treadmills are off lease junk. Just look at the iPhone chargers from st least 5 years ago. No fans. Come on. The YMCA has better equipment and classes. They have the same junk as planet fitness. EwThere wasn’t a place to respond to fit factory’s response. What is the manufacture date on the treadmills? The ancient iPhone hookup is a key. I have to run on treadmills most of the time. These are old repainted junk. They break VERY frequently. As does much of their equipment. Actively looking for a new gym.

The facility is great and I like most of the folks I have interacted with there. However, I had a terrible experience today with the agreement/contract policy and the way my concerns were dealt with. I was charged an Annual Rate Lock Fee of $49.99 when I signed up in February last year for a 1 year contract. Now, after the contract ended in February this year I have been automatically charged another $49.99 for an Annual Rate Lock Fee which I only realized when I tried to cancel my month to month membership. While the manager acknowledges that the $49.99 Rate lock does not make any sense after I cancel my membership, they cannot do anything about it as it was part of the agreement/contract. The agreement language about that rate lock fee is vague and is illogical! Very disappointed and feel tricked!

Took a tour, Clean, new.... but like other have said, no towel service for all members, no heavy bag for a good sweat, no massage section, no protein drink bar just a vending machine, and kinda expensive for more amenities . Ill spring the extra money for the gym in the next town over. Thanks

From the very moment I first stepped into this gym I realized there was something different. I was greeted with a smile, kindness and was received with a genuine interest in helping me achieve my fitness goals. At the time I joined I was overweight, and needed some nutrition and training advise. Derek quickly provided me with an assessment and referred me to Liz Tabares the fit factory functional fitness lead coach at Foxboro. Liz, motivated me and pushed me to beyond many of my physical limits. Today, I am 40lbs lighter and continuing to improve my fitness and overall health thanks to the staff. This gym offers a multitude of courses and ranging from cycling, aerobics, functional fitness (my favorite), TRX and kickboxing along with much more. If your looking for a higher quality gym with all the perks and one that wont break the bank, consider the fit factory.

Looks very clean which is why I rated it high but it is new. Great options for parents who need babysitting. Problem is that if you don’t have children there really is no benefits and the class option is a little expensive vs. other gyms in the area. Why don’t they offer an alternative for people who don’t need babysitting like one or two classes a week?

I have been going to the Foxboro location for about a year and I usually take advantage of the playcare for my kids while I exercise. I have to say the gym is always so clean and well taken care of. Joanne (I hope that’s spelled correctly) is always cleaning, washing, or sweeping every inch of the gym!! She also helps out when the playcare gets busy and she’s always very nice and patient with the kids. If there are awards given out within the company, I’d say she definitely deserves one. Be careful signing up for this gym. They will take your money and keep charging you once you cancel if you are not paying attention. I moved and have been trying to get my money back for 4 months now and they refuse. Horrible customer service and not enough machines in the womens workout room. I suggest going to another gym, this gym is not worth the money at all.

All right gym. Times of the classes are tough for me unfortunately. Clean, new equipment. I dont have kids so the day care doesnt benefit me. Maybe some day... Why no juice bar? Thats a huge perk for all who are unaffected by other amenities. 7 days is kinda too short of a time span to make a decision on being. The staff was fantastic and def helpful, management seemed quite young, but nice. Ill prob take the trip and try Braintree. 3 Stars.

The gym is nice, but I would have never signed up if I knew how they did classes. There is no online sign up and you have to come in 15 minutes before a class to sign in on a paper sheet. I have shown up several times over 20 minutes before a class and unable to get into the class because the line to sign up is so long. I’ve been told I should come in 30 minutes before a class and stand in line to try to get in. Seems a little counteractive for a gym to ask you to stand there doing nothing for 15-30 minutes. People in the classes complain about this constantly and talk about how they want online signups. Looks terrible on management/the gym when people in the classes are complaining to other members before and after the classes. I’ve wasted so much time waiting in line at this gym and have expressed all of this to management.

I joined Fit Factory a couple months ago and have been personal training with Derek Bairos initially and now train with John Semenuk. Both are amazing coaches who know when to push and how hard to push. I love an intense workout and always get one when I train. I also take the FFIT/Sweat classes and Liz is so great! Really great workout with those classes. I’ve never come out of training or a class disappointed with my workout or felt like I didn’t get an intense workout! Any staff that I’ve come in contact with are so incredibly nice, welcoming and willing to do whatever it takes to help you be successful whatever your goals may be. Highly highly recommend this gym!

First, the online tour of the gym showed they had heavy bags there. When I got there, I got 3 different answers as to why they didnt have them. Only one guy gave me the truth. They are NOT going to have them. Thats fraudulent advertising. Secondly, they hit you with the $39 sign up fee when you join, like all other gyms, BUT, they want to whack you for another $49, 30 days after you sign up for their yearly fee. The clowns cant even wait 90 days. Most gyms hit you on the same day every year. Thats when I put my Credit card back in my wallet and left. Sleazy way to do business. And they lied about the free trial, and told my buddy they were going to have 125Lb dumbells there. And, of course, they dont. They lie and lie and lie.

Don’t join this Gym if you need to workout at 5AM. Their employees sleep-in, and you’ll sit in the parking lot waiting for 30 minutes with 30 other people ruining your ability to get a workout in before the workday. Not worth the amount you pay.

Considering moving to the area and was checking out gyms today. $20 for a day pass. $40 for the month. Based on this and the front desk customer service...hard pass.

Staff is really nice, machines are clean and new, great shake place next door called edible arrangements, cleans bathrooms and clean showers, nice people to meet there.

They kept charging my expired card and fined me an extra $67 a month without ever calling, emailing, mailing a letter or telling me when I was there 4 times a week. They refused to take it off, it is an unethical business practice.

Dont read 3 stars or under reviews, gym is fine...apparently if classes are not exact times for people and they didnt have heavy bags then its the worst gym ever. If class times dont suit YOU its not their fault...and a gym isnt adding heavy bags so you can pretend your mike tyson for 5 min every other Saturday. Oh and bring your own capri sun juicy juice which solves the juice bar issue. Those reviews are by toddlers not adults...beware.

Ask the same question to everyone who works there, you will probably get a different answer from each of them. They dont have heavy bags like advertised, and when i asked where something was the other day they didnt know. unlimited classes cool you only have them at certain times, most people cant make it til later due to rush hour. You have baby sitting .. cool i dont have kids. 12 month commitment.. cool but let me try it for a month not 7 days... and dont charge me a memeber fee.. you dont even have perks that benefit people who dont have kids your only perk is the baby sitting.
