Great service for a fair price. Don and his team were very professional and got my heating unit installed and running in a timely manner. It’s not easy finding a good oil furnace company especially during the cold months but they came through for us and helped save us a considerable amount of $$ on heating cost.

Not recommended. Showed up to my shop on a service call for a rough running burner. Technician spent 4.5hrs replacing a few parts to my waste oil heater. Parts replacement took approximately 45mins (air filter and a ball valve with only a loose handle(!)) followed by 3hrs of the tech scratching his head..Finally a brass 1/4 fitting with a hairline crack, (I believe suffered when he dropped the preheater unit from 8ft in the air) was discovered.. At this point tech was packing up to leave when I finally took part from him and extracted broken fitting myself, AND supplied him a new fitting, for which I was later charged for the parts and Labor, (my repair totalling a whopping 5 mins after watching him walk around in circles for 40mins)... at 5pm the service tech was leaving, period.. even though my heater was now completely inoperative. Not to worry he said, he would be back, despite his desire and my unwillingness to replace the entire unit OR spend 5-800 on a new heter grid... mind you, this machine worked when he showed up and did absolutely nothing when he was done... After 5days of nothing, I called a local small buisness service company and this man had the burner running like new in 45mins. A few adjustments were made to unit and the shotty workmanship from prior hack was gone over.. 1 day later my near $700.- bill showed up. Less than a week later I received my first call, followed by a call every 3 days looking for payment. Not asking about their work or my, the customers, issue.. Finally Don, the owner was able to get ahold of me after a busy week of dealing with my fathers health and unexpected hospital stays, at which point I explained my dissatisfaction. I quote this man when I say well, we did a job.. and we need to be paid also well my guy must have gotten it close, thats why other company needed to spend such little time on it . I am in the auto service industry .. NEVER has a customer dropped of a running vehicle, been charged ANY amount of money, then returned a completely inoperative vehicle... I tried to explain this to don, and in his infinite expertise, he did not even have a copy of the invoice in front of him! Just chasing his money with total disregard for the conditions of my heater or the work his guy did.. With threats of taking me to court... MY GUESS is thats how he gets paid for most of his companys work... After further pleading with him that I am not a looking for something for nothing kind of guy,, and to rethink the whole situation, he said he would go over the bill and talk with his expert.. a day later a revised bill for 466.- was emailed.. For fear of wasting any more time with this nonsense, and explaining to the relentless but kind secretary, I paid the revised highway robbery bill. I guess I have been going about this all wrong, I was under the impression that the customer was always right. Do yourselves a favor if you are reading this, LOOK ELSEWHERE - I can assure you they are not the answer to your issues unless you have money to throw away.

Buyers Beware!!!!!!In April 2015 we had ABR price out a waste oil heater for our shop. It was a Clean Energy CE-250. The price was approximately 8,000 installed; after this quote was given we wanted to take some time and go over the fiscal benefit to having it installed. However this company became very pushy about the sale calling every few days with a condescending tone stating we are going to miss out on huge savings which should have been our first red flag. We optioned to have the heater installed and when the installation day came the heater was only partially installed because there was no electrician here to wire it up. When asking the company why they did not have their electrician here when installing it, they replied to us that they do not supply the electricians that we are responsible to make sure an electrician is scheduled to come in on the day of install. At that point I told them that they had never explained nor mentioned that I had to line up the electrician and that I was under the impression that the electrician was included in the cost of the installation. Their response was you should have read your contract!!! Which I found completely out of line to say to someone spending 8k to 9k with their company.. So the installation had to be completed on another day after we paid an additional $1,500.00 to the local electricians to have the unit wired to work.When ABR returned to finish the installation they attempted to charge me for a service visit over and above the 8k to 10.5k that I had just spent, of which I refused to pay!At that point I figured I would cut my losses and never deal with this company again however fast forward to the morning of 12/6/16 the heating unit failed to turn on. I called a local heating and A/C company to come in and look at the unit because I refuse to do any business with ABR. Approximately 10 am I called the maker of My Clean Energy CE-250 oil burner for replacement parts. They wanted to direct me to ABR there local distributor and I informed the guy on the phone that I would not do business with ABR and I have my own heating company here working on the unit and I need to order parts for the unit. The guy on the phone said in cases like this we can help and send them directly to you. I asked for the parts to be next day aired so I can get the heater working as quickly as possible.0n the owner of ABR made the first of three different calls to us around 3 pm same day to state to me that he has my parts for the heater and that I would have to come down and get them from him at which point I told him that I had already ordered the parts from the manufacturer and they are being next day aired to me. At that point Don told me that he had canceled my order because I have to buy the parts from him because he is the local supplier!At that point I told Don I refuse to do business with him and I will be getting my parts elsewhere! Again he reiterated to me in the tone and demeanor reserved only for Tony Soprano or John Gotti that Quote: ( I dont think you understand whats going on here, youre going to buy them from me!) at that time I hung up the phone on him because I was way too busy to argue with him. I called back the manufacturer who I had called in the morning to explain again that I would not work with Don or his company and would like to have my parts order re-ordered and that Don had no right to cancel my order which I had placed earlier that day. The manufacture complied but to my dismay he sent them not to me but to ABR which prompted a call from Don the next morning stating again in no uncertain terms that I will be buying the parts from him!After many back and forth calls to the manufacturer I finally received the parts that I was waiting for from ABR and when they arrived some of the parts in my order were missing and they grossly over charged me for the parts. Please think twice before using this company or installing any Clean Energy Heater because you will be stuck with having to deal with this Mafioso type business conduct
