I found JB Pride on Google and it was the best possible experience I could have had. They were able to dispatch a team the same day that I called, to look at the thermostat for my AC which had suddenly started to malfunction. The electricians who came were extremely knowledgeable. They were able to diagnose the problem right away and propose a solution and execute it. They were also very polite and professional. If I could rate them 10/10 stars I would. Fantastic experience.

My central AC suddenly stops blowing cool air in the morning and the outside was 90 deg. I contacted multiple companies in the morning, none of them were available. JB Pride was the only company that was able to send someone the same day (about 4 hours after receiving my call). Two technicians came over to my place around noon, they were trying to diagnose the problem for a while around the unit and then move outside to check the compressor. After spending about an hour to diagnose, they couldnt find the problem. They said that the refrigerant may be low. However, neither do they have the device with them to check the refrigerant level nor do they have the license to refill if that turns out to be the problem. They had to schedule another visit the next day to send someone with the device and license. I paid them $250 that day for nothing. I was desperate by the results from their visit and decided to hire someone who can refill the refrigerant since I now know the problem. Luckily, I was able to find someone else to come over in the late afternoon. The minute they arrived, they identified the problem was a busted capacitor so they replaced the capacitor for me and everything was up and running.The technicians from JB pride should be able to identify the problem and they should have all the necessary devices and license to complete the job on the same visit. Id give them one star, however, consider the fact that they were able to come over the same day during the crazy heat waves, two stars.

I called JB Pride for an issue I was having with my bills. Colton Dyer(the electrician) came over and was able to quickly help and detect the issue while being extremely polite and professional.(our electric panel was connected to the wrong meter).Indeed, I had some unclarity about the billing process and when I called the customer service they were very helpful in making sure all my questions were answered. Great service and even more importantly great people. I definitely recommend.

I have used Expert Home Services (a division of JB Pride) on multiple ocasssions for light electrical work. They have been great so when I put in a new electric pool heater, those are the guys I turned to. They came out, walked me through the options of placing a new 100amp line in the backyard, and the schedule. They did everything according to plan and schedule, working through decisions and issues with me as they came up. I must say they are not the cheapest but I felt comfortable and assured that they wouldnt miss anything and the job would be done well.

HVAC was not working. Called JB Pride and they came right out even though HVAC companies are extremely busy this time of season. They were responsive and set up appointment to have someone look at it next day. Were on time with appointment and got HVAC working again. Great communication and fair price. Would recommend and would use them in future.

Dishonest pricing. I asked to have someone come out to move the location of 2 pendant lights. I was told it would cost $250 for the first hour and then they would give me an estimate if more time was needed. Technician who came out said $250/hr was only for service calls and that this job would be $1,100. I was very clear about what the job entailed over the phone.

We got a quote from JB for a large electrical project in our townhouse. We appreciated the professionalism, courtesy, and calm demeanor of the tech who came out to look and provide the estimate. I also appreciated how the estimate was broken down into 5-6 separate quotes for each leg of the project. The pricing seems reasonable for the work we need done. Although we do plan on getting a few more quotes just to be sure, we are already leaning towards using JB Pride to re-do the electrical systems for our apartment. Will update if/when we do use them. Got an estimate for the installation of three ceiling fans and two new light fixtures. The estimator was on time and wore booties throughout the house. Estimate came in at more than twice the amount of three other electrical companies.

We had buzzing and popping coming from our panel. Colton arrived on time and quickly found and fixed the issue. Nick and Thomas came to install my Interlock kit for my generator on Saturday morning. They were very professional and customer oriented. They also assisted me with starting the generator and walked me through the process of locking out the main panel and selecting the circuits to power from my generator. When theyd fixed our power supply and our elevator still wouldnt turn on - due to something unrelated to them - they stayed around until we figured out the issue on our end, because Colton wanted to make sure that the work hed done was complete and that we were satisfied.

Very happy with the service from start to finish. The people in the office were very professional. The gentleman who came to my house went above and beyond for me and I would definitely call them in the future.

Let me put it this way, I ended up paying $400 to change a light fixture. I had called them to replace the breakers in my panel, they said it cant be done, I asked them to replace my panel entirely, they refused to do so because its in the kitchen and they needed to move it, which would cost me about $3000. The panel has been in the kitchen for 70 years in my apartment, no incidents have happened. They would rather leave me with an older not so secure panel than replace it where it is. The technician was very polite and pleasant to work with, he said the issue was that the company wouldnt allow him to replace my panel in the kitchen. I will look for another electrician who can replace my panel where it is, if not Ill leave it as is. I still had to pay them full price for coming by so I had them replace a light fixture that I could have done myself. I dont think Ill use them again.

The technicians came right on time, and they were friendly, safe (masks, distance, etc.), and incredibly responsive to my questions. They were courteous, efficient, and when something needed to be done that required any additional fee, they made sure to tell me about it and they were very transparent about everything that was going on. JB Pride is a customer professional oriented company. I called two companies and left two msgs and no return calls to this day which was just shy of 3 weeks ago. I also emailed 2 other companies, no replies from two and finally yesterday I heard from one 2 1/2 weeks later. I finally found JB Pride in google search and decided to give them a try and emailed them with the short cycling issue we were having with our gas heater. I received an email back from Kelly the next day with an appt scheduled if I choose the time. I did and their communications skills rock. I received emails and texts reminding me of appt and I received a text and picture of the Technician that was coming to our home. David Shearrion was our tech and he was so professional and informative with the issues of heater. I recommend JB Pride for their customer service, price, and prompt service.
