Brenda was awesome and did a wonderful job on my toddlers first hair cut! She was so patient with him and did such a great job on his blonde thin hair! Totally recommend!!!

We have been coming to this place for about 20 years now. This place cares for their clients, are friendly, and reasonably priced. They do a great job with my kids and grandkids! I am happy to see them make it through the really tough time of the pandemic and maneuvering through the obstacles that state regulations have placed before them. I know some may think it is pain to have to wear a mask or to set up an appointment but these are things that make running the business more manageable during this crazy time. I know the place is called Kiddie Kutters, but Brenda is the ONLY person I let touch my hair (she has helped me through many instances of 12+ inches of hair donations) and I constantly get compliments about my hairstyles. Everyone seems surprised when I say I go to Kiddie Kutters but quality work is quality work!!

Extremely well priced, knowledgeable staff, clean.

Would not recommend. Staff is okay. A little too personal. They’re supposed to be set up for kids but there is nothing to indicate it’s for kids. At least sports clips has television with sports foe entertainment. They clearly don’t see people as people. Only as appointments. I’d rather and will spend my money somewhere else.

Awesome place. Lisa and Brenda are the best. My boys love going to them and I enjoy as well. So friendly and quick. Keep up the great awesomeness.

I bring my son in for his haircut and he loves it! Everyone has always been nice and they are very clean with disinfecting after every customer and efficient with the haircuts. Usually we’re in and out in 15 minutes and don’t feel rushed at all. I’m spacing on the name of the woman who cut my sons hair but the lady on March 17th 2021 at 4:00 was wonderful!

Its very o.k. Sometimes my kids hair looks great and other times I feel like I couldve done a better job myself. Just really depends on the stylist.

My son got his hair cut today By Brenda. He’s almost two. She did an excellent job on his hair. She was quick and focused on what she was doing. She realized my son didn’t like the hair around his ears being cut so she would cut that area for a few seconds then move on to a different section and then come back to the ears. Typically when I take my son to get his hair cut at other salons, it takes a good 45 minutes. Here I think it was maybe 20 minutes. Which is great for my son, because he likes to move and doesn’t want to sit still long. I will definitely be taking him back to this location for future hair cuts.

I took my 1 1/2 year old there yesterday for his first haircut so I was a little nervous and didn’t really know what to expect. The hair stylists there were so friendly and very confident so it made me feel more comfortable after talking to them. The wait wasn’t long at all and they cut my sons hair in like 5 minutes tops. She lined him up, faded his hair, gave him a styled cut and didn’t cut it too short at all so I was just so impressed! They are awesome. We will for sure be repeat customers. Thank you so much!

My boys and I have been getting our haircuts here for the last 19 years. The girls are extremely competent and are like family. I wont go anywhere else, even if the price doubled.

3 stars because most times my experiences with my boys have been good. Lost 2 stars for the fact that they had the open sign on and we showed up 15 minutes before they were suppose to close at 4. Doors were locked and the woman inside saw us and didnt even bother to explain why they closed early. If your business says closes at 4 then you should close at 4. Not 15 minutes early.

The quick service was nice, but maybe to quick... My kiddo doesnt usually cry during haircuts because the barber says hi and plays with him a bit. This time we were in and out in 10 min. The service was fine but prefer a barber who shows interest.

This place is fantastic. My daughters were apprehensive about their first haircut but the hairdresser was fast and fun. We came in for a trim and the whole process didnt take more than 10 minutes. Great place for a great cut. They even let you keep some of the hair trimmings for memory books.

Brenda was horrible to my grandson. He does cry at first with anybody then stops when the haircut begins. But Brenda was rough with him she tried holding his head down (forcefully) uncaring. She didnt follow simple instructions. Cut his hair way to short. The back of his neck was really really red. Thats never happened before. Absolutely never going back!

We have been here before and brenda was amazing. We saw mist this time and we had a horrible experience! She was extremely rude to my son who has sensory processing disorder so he has a hard time with the vibrations of the Clippers and she just kept saying your fine its just a bit cut. And was so rude to multiple other people there as well. Acted like it was a inconvenience for people to come get their childs hair cut.

Fast and skilled! My two year old got his first haircut here. He was scared, but the stylist was so skilled and fast - his haircut probably only took a minute and looked great. They also have a waiting area filled with toys, and if you need to wait. We didnt when we walked in. Definitely a great place to take young kids for haircuts.

My 6 year old decided to take his bangs into his own hands and he actually cut it really short in the front. They got him in real quick and his hair looks great now. They did it fast but good, and I get the speed because kids only stay still for so long!

They did a great job on my daughter’s hair. The lady who worked on her made sure she was comfortable with the cut and talked her through the entire process. It came out so good, the hairstylist’s experience showed, and they were incredible to my child. It was our first time going yesterday and we will definitely be return customers.

I really dont expect much from a kids hair cut place, but they were doing the bare minimum to rush through people as fast as the could. They missed several places in my sons hair and they refused to let him sit in a car after he requested it(which Im guessing is because they didnt want to bother moving since it took more time). We will only go to the location on Research from now on.

Oh my goodness!! NEVER HAVE I EVER HAD A STYLIST ARGUE WITH ME OVER WHAT CUT TO GIVE MY DAUGHTER! ELAINE WAS THE RUDEST SYLIST IVE EVER MET BY FAR!!! I cant understand why a stylist would argue let alone get mad over what directions she was given as far as MY CHILD!!! This place does give okay haircuts. It would be nice if the hair cutters wouldnt talk about personal issues while cutting hair or talking amounts themselves.

Excellent pricing, military discount, very quick and able to distract a screaming child or work around a fussy toddler. Super friendly and courteous. Great place to go with minimal wait and if there is a wait it isnt terribly long given their speed and precision.

Horrible service. My husband got there at 345 and they had their doors locked when they closed at 4. I have gone many other times and you are not usually greeted with a hello or a smile. They cut my sons hair in two minutes. It’s affordable, so I will give a star for that. I feel like I can’t find any place in the Fountain area to cut my kids hair. Every place I go there’s a feeling of people not caring and wanting you to leave.

The first time I went here was awful. The woman who cut my sons hair was rude and made sure I knew I was inconveniencing her by asking for my 1year olds hair to get cut. I know screaming kids can be uncomfortable but I assumed that working at a kids salon they would be more friendly and understanding. The second time I went was a much different and better experience. The woman who cut my sons hair was very friendly and even gave tips on how to calm my son down. I will always be weary of taking my kid in for haircuts here but with my last experiance I now know it will be a hit or miss and for $11 its worth it.

Great experience, Brenda always greets us when we walk in, and is amazing! I have small children and she is able to get the hair cut done pretty quickly, as most kids don’t like to sit very long and does a great job.

Got my sons first haircut here. I asked them to save me a lock of hair before they started the cut. What the gave me was a waded up knot of hair. I will never go here again and will tell everyone how uncaring they are.

I was worried after reading the previous reviews (most of which are pretty old, anyway), but decided to give it a chance and was not disappointed! We took our almost-three-year-old to the Fountain location for his first real haircut and had a great experience. It was super quick, and my boys hair looks great!We did go on a Tuesday at about 4:45, and it was not busy at all. I imagine its busier on weekends.

Always love going into Kiddie Kutters! Everyone is always so friendly and they are quick! Never have a bad hair cut coming out of there. They can do the whole family - easy peasy - one stop shop!

Worst experience. We will not be back. The lady answering the phone is so unprofessional. Unfortunately the same girl cut my daughters hair. She spent maybe 5 minutes on her hair. There was a loyal customer that walked in as she started her cut. She rushed thru it so fast that we were in the car within 10 minutes. There were many strands uneven. I asked her to even out her hair. She said thats the best she could do unless I wanted her to shave the back. I also asked her to do something with her bangs. She said that wouldnt be even if I gave her bangs. I was so irritated when I left.I worked on my daughters hair for 3 days to see if I could get it even. No luck. Called & talked to the same unprofessional person. She said someone else could do her hair which I was glad. We went in & they were not busy. Another lady, a lot more professional than the other, looked at her hair & said it was even. When I pointed to certain spots she saw what I saw. She spent a lot of time with us & asked us exactly what we wanted & it looks amazing now. I wish I knew their names so I could tell you who to go to & who not to go to.

Worst experience ever!!!!Walked in to the store I startled the lady sleeping on the floor it appeared so that is (Stephanie). The lady with tattoos on her arm made every attempt to not acknowledge me so she wouldn’t have to be the one to cut my sons hair. I asked for 2 hair cuts and she claimed she was busy but she sat on her chair texting someone. Stephanie started to help me which she was ok after finally getting her to cut his hair. The other lady began talking on the phone using profanity in front of my Lil one not to professional if you ask me.**dear management the date is 10/4/19 I was in this store at 2:05 pm.**

I most likely wont go back here again. I took my 2yo son in for a haircut and I am not happy with the results. He does not like getting his hair cut.Pros: We were the only ones in there so there was no waiting (Friday afternoon around 3pm).The lady seemed fine with (and even suggested) me holding him instead of forcing him in a seat.Cons: She was too concerned with getting us out of there to pay attention to straight lines. His hair is so uneven, I will have to fix it myself.No one smiled the entire time we were there! Three hair cutters were sitting down with nothing to do when we walked in and the lady who cut his hair looked irritated the entire time.While one was cutting my sons hair, the other two were texting and talking about a funeral for a friend who was recently murdered. Im glad my 2yo was crying too loud to hear them. They were also talking about playing hooky from work in the next couple days.I have taken him to Cool Cuts for Kids when we lived up north and they were PATIENT enough with him to make his hair look good. I will probably deal with driving up there the next time he needs a haircut.

(Fountain location experiences only) I am a grown man and not only take my kids here (boys for haircut, girls for a trim), but I get my hair cut here as well. Military get their hair cut here, so to say these ladies know how to cut hair to a quality level (or what you asked for) is an understatement. I have been to sportsy type places and came away with a less professional cut (at 3x the price). This is not a foo-foo type place, so it isnt for those in search of ambiance (hint, its niche remains kutters for kids!). I recommend Fridays and Saturdays over Sundays... these ladies are the tops.

I highly doubt I will be returning to this location. Though the stylist Jenny did a okay job on the haircuts on both my boys, she was very rude and unprofessional. As a paying customer at a place for children I just feel the stylist could have kept her snide comments to her self and acted a bit more pleasant. However the other lady there helping another customer seemed very friendly and sweet.

I have 3 kids with 3 different hair styles. Tina is a great hair stylist that knows each of my kids styles. She listens and is the first stylist that I can trust with my kids hair.

I took my son in here last week, I have been here numerous times and loved it in the past, but it had been a while since he had been here so we decided to try it out again. There was no wait so that was awesome, but I was not pleased with the overall service. The hair cut was fast and I liked the way it turned out, BUT, I found it highly unprofessional for her to be talking about personal matters and other employees in front of customers, especially since she was the manager. I am used to the place that I was taking my son to where they actually engaged with him while cutting his hair, she asked if he was okay once and asked to put his head down and that was the only interaction she had with him. On top of that she didnt clean the fallen hair off his neck or his forehead. Then the other employee took change from the register to buy candy from the vending machine...not sure if they allow employees to take money from the register or not but didnt seem right with me and my daughter, whos 9 asking me why she was doing that. The play area was nice and clean. I wont be taking him back there Ill pay extra at the other place we were going....theres way better customer service there.

Place seems nice but the staff isnt friendly at all!! Took my son to this place for his first haircut. My son started crying immediately and the gal didnt bother to try to help soothe except look at the other hairdresser like why do we allow babies. The two hair dressers made us feel very uncomfortable and they werent friendly at all!! Haircut was nice but the customer service sucked!! Taking my son to this place was a HUGE mistake!! Our first experience was ruined and now a bad memory!! Never will I ever come back to this place!!!

I have taken my daughter here 3 times and everytime these ladies do an awesome job, my daughter loves to get her hair braided when she is done they add a touch of sparkles and it looks adorable. She always leaves feeling like a princess.

Took grandson for a haircut today and arrived at 3:30 PM. One of the workers stated they werent taking any more customers. When asked when they closed, I was told 4PM and they still had 1 customer waiting and we would have to come back another day. My past experiences have taken less than 10 minutes to cut hair on my grandson. This is a poor excuse for running any business, and the attitude of the employee is pretty deplorable. They also permanently lost a good opportunity to promote their business and lost a good tip had they accommodated us. We also drove 25 minutes each way to have his hair cut, which anyone with a toddler understands this challenge. We wont be coming back.

Last time we will be going here. Last 2 times we have went we always get brenda to cut my 4yr old hair thats just because there is no one else available.. everytime she cuts his hair she messes it up.. always in a rush when no one is waiting, and my son sits still so no clue why shes always in a rush. Maybe she dont want to do her job right idk. We tell her not to mess with his cow lick and she still does... horrible place! We thought we would go a second time to give it another chance maybe we would get a different hair cutter but nope same person and she always messes his hair up. If I could give this place a 0 I would!
