This post office doesn’t seem like they are very sufficient. Not only that but you can never get through to anyone in the early morning hours. And it must be okay for employees to take usps trucks on the Sundays for personal use as I seen a usps female driver pull into the property where I live to visit her BF that lives on property. I guess that is where all their time and concentration is going is to visit their significant others rather than deliver packages as I have had more lost or returned to sender packages with this USPS office. I wish we could choose which post office our mail gets delivered from cause the Fountain Hills office is a joke

Post office worker was to lazy to get out of their truck and find the correct unit so they decided to return to sender even though nothing was wrong with the address. Had my ID in the package so I was forced to miss my flight due to these meat balls that work for the PO. TOTAL DISGRACE!

I don’t know where to begin, this post office has a shady operation! My Aunt from Hawaii sent my son a birthday card and it’s been 3 weeks and we still have not received it. Mail from my bank and Venmo was also marked return to sender!!! Why would the carrier not simply drop it in my mailbox, why mark return to sender so frustrating! The birthday cards make no sense!!!!

Bob the morning manager sounds like a miserable man and has no customer support skills. I called to ask if he could have someone open our box because the book was larger than the door. They decided to fold all our mail and Christmas cards in half to fit around the book. Government quality work

Eight years in Fountain Hills and so many issues with this post office. Clearly marked mailboxes at the duplex. A or B. We get B’s mail and B gets our mail. One year new tenants Received one of our bills. We hadn’t met yet. They sent the bill back and marked “return to sender, address unknown” resulting in the further bills from that company not being delivered. Packages have been opened. Do not bend packages clearly shoved and bent to fit into the mailbox. So many issues with gift cards that were supposed to be in a Christmas or a birthday card not inside the card. And just today, I discovered a card mailed to us on the ground behind the recycle bin. I just called to complain and the gentleman conveniently disconnected our call. Every year we get a lovely holiday card from our friendly postal delivery person with a name and address no doubt for a Christmas bonus. That note always makes it into the correct mailbox.

My neighbor didnt get his mail for almost 2 weeks. Sometimes the mail comes at 630 pm and when people complain for the day it comes earlier. Total incompetence!

Drove 13 miles from Scottsdale to this worthless PO, and the worst ran facility in the valley only for them to close 10 minutes before their scheduled time. And the female manager shut the door right in my face, without saying a word. Lady, just because you hate life, dont take it out on us happy humans.

We are snowbirds that get our mail by General Delivery. The people who work there are so nice, efficient and accommodating. Rarely have to wait more than 15 minutes.

Simple tasks like forwarding packages to a new address in Fountain Hills are well beyond their skills. Or perhaps they are just too lazy to bother. Also their kiosk needs an audit. Use it, pay what it says and youll receive your outgoing package back next day, saying you owe them $1.49. I paid another $2.26 for a total of $4.52.

The employees used to talk allot to each other rather than giving quick service to patrons... Except for Mike. I avoid this place like no other... They used to have a African female and she was horrible. They all run on slooowwwwww Some time back when Mike was working out front, he always gave excellent service..but they got rid of him for some reason. Maybe he was making all the others look bad. Hate going in this location, never go in there if you dont have to...

Never received package. Tried to contact post office, 50-60 minutes phone wait time. Automated service could not recognize any of my prompts to continue. Email option could not be used. And they wonder why the US Postal Service is in ruins. In the meantime, my package was delivered somewhere, but not at my home. Not surprising since I’ve put mail in the mailbox, only for it to be put in the mailbox next door.

Was out of town the past few days. Came back this past Tuesday to find a parcel pick up note in my box.Was unable to get to the post office until today to pick it up. After the first time of not locating the package, he needed a last name to help locate it. I complied. 5 minutes later, still unable to locate it, he asked when I received the pick up note. I replied I first saw it Tuesday. He disappeared again. This time, for an unusual amount of time. 15 minutes later, I was asked to have a seat in the front entrance. I knew this was not ending well.10 minutes later an old, crotchety woman with waaaaaaay too much make up bluntly told me they had sent it back. I asked why?It was here to long. We send it back after 10 or 15 days. I knew that she was lying on the dates, because I picked up my mail last Wednesday before I left.I was blinded with rage, so I feel like there are some follow questions:How come the isnt a delivery date on the slip to verify when it was delivered?How come there isnt a pick up by date on the slip to avoid these situations?Why mail it back after 7 business days? Was it not paying rent?If I could give this place 0 stars i would.

This is without doubt the worse post office in the U.S. The Manger is totally incompetent and doesnt care. In the private sector he would have been fired years ago. He is a disgrace to our country. I paid $25 for over night delivery. It didnt arrive for three days. The manager would not refund my money even though the service was guaranteed. Horrible disgrace......

Inefficient and disorganized but often friendly. Its like a restaurant with bad food but OK service. Just because your tracking says the package has been delivered does not mean that they will give it to you on that day. Reasons for this range from weve been moving a lot of mail today and havent checked it in or I cant find it, try back tomorrow. Best to get a box at UPS Store. There you will experience what mail and package delivery should be like. That is, unless your merchant ships via USPS to the UPS store. That would be tragic, as the USPS in general has many of the same problems...lost packages, inaccurate tracking...I do appreciate those few employees that try to work with the system.

Our letter carrier is a morbidly obese black female who avoids delivering packages down our driveway due to her inability/laziness. This conduct seems to be supported by Bob the manager who recognizes this is likely the reason why she today scanned a package as delivery attempted while still at the station without even making an attempt to deliver. So sad government has come to this. Pathetic.

I submitted 6 Netflix DVDs for mailing at the counter. One was scanned in and the other 5 not. This slows the process of my receiving new ones mailed back to me. I then have to go to Redbox to rent movies 2-3 nights and then return them to the box. This costs more money and time and energy with a bad foot that I am currently nurse, to do. The post office could be making more money by simply scanning what I submitted to them to mail. I drove out of my way to mail them at this main post office. Courteousness was obviously not cared about in their handling process. The disks were probably shipped out of state to be processed and that takes time for them to be tracked. If a post office has a scanner and sorts their mail on property, why not scan all of the mail articles instead of just one?

I live in an apartment. They will not deliver packages, and fail to inform me when packages are available for pick up. I have had several packages return to sender b/c the mail carrier did not inform that I had a package ready for pick up. Poor service. Not Nice.

Horrible service. They have repeatedly deliver my mail and my neighbors mail to the wrong location. I setup a PO Box and they still fail to deliver properly. They also failed to deliver mail properly for as long as a month after I moved. Major problems in this place and complaints dont seem to get anything fixed.

This post office is shameful. Our courier, Alma, makes her own rules, lies, and even steals our mail! Thats right, I said STEALS. My husband and I just came back from vacation and Alma took it upon herself to go inside our mail box and throw away all our mail! Of course she did not even leave a note in our box, I had to ask her myself and she said my mail was pulled out and thrown away because there was too much! I also paid $20 to use my apartment complexs parcel pending mail box. Today is the 2nd time she has not delivered my package to the parcel pending box because Alma claims that I have not paid for the service!! i spoke with my leasing office today and they confirmed she had come earlier with our package and Alma did not even ask if we had paid or not she just decided on her own to take our package back to the post office. the funny thing is that she has delivered to our parcel pending box before, but since we went on vacation she now thinks that we never paid to use the service! Wonderful Employee! Finally, On top of stealing my personal mail out of my personal mailbox and not delivering my packages after I pay extra for a service so also provided me with some false information! When I moved in Alma told me I had to sign up for the parcel pending service because she is too lazy to deliver packages to residents doorsteps! She doesnt want to have to go up stairs so she tells residents she will return their packages back to the sender if we do not pay for the parcel pending service. She also told me that if I pay for the service I get my money back when I move out... I just spoke with the leasing office at my apartment and they say that is completely false!!! She is lying to residents, stealing, and threatening to send packages back if we do not sign up for a service. Someone please look into this horrible post office, they are not doing their public service justly!!! I also spoke to the supervisor at the fountain hills location and she had nothing to say and didnt even say sorry or mention that this would not happen again! Horrible service, and 2 incredibly rude people.

Seriously awful. Every visit is like pulling teeth. Rude service. Employees act as if you are inconveniencing them, then get the details you have stated incorrect. I have been there while employees are chit chatting while customers wait idly in line. All around unwelcoming and inconsiderate staff.

This post office is a joke!! For unknown reasons they were unable to forward my mail after several attempts and filling out numerous address change forms. Finally I was told that I would have to come in and get my mail until I made address change with all my bills, etc. I didnt mind coming in once a week even though I moved from Fountain Hills. However, today I just learned that now my mail is being forwarded to the new addressee and/or they are not holding it for me anymore.The agent that told me this was very rude and argumentative and seems to be on some kind of a power trip. Even after I told him I was working with a supervisor there on this situation previously, he basically said she was just a fill-in and in wasnt important enough and eluded to the fact that is why my mail wasnt forwarded. Really??Dont even try to call there because they dont answer the phone.UGGGH!!!!

I had the worse experience. I didnt say anything about the last two but after this one well i feel like its time. On tuesday the 30th mailman logged my package was deliver at 3:30pm. Well it wasnt hear. I called and this CLOWN name Bob answer the phone but he wasnt trying to help me. I ask to speak to a supervisor or manager and he replyed i am the supervisor.. i knew i was in trouble then, so i hung up. I called back today the 2nd of june while at work and was told he deliverd it today. The lady on the phone said it dont make any sense that he got tuesday and today status deliver with the same package. It tells he lied on tuesday..he dont need his job if thats what there doing with our packages. Liar, liar his big pants was really flamed!

In 10 years I have never had a positive experience there. It is honestly, and notoriously, the worst in every way. My PO Box has been a 10 year nightmare and nobody there cares about anything but collecting their tax-paid wages. This place is an absolute disgrace!

Literally impossible to get a hold of them by calling, I have been waiting for the callback for over an hour and still no callback. I try calling them and spent 30 minutes trying ever option to try and get to a customer representative but its not possible. This is a terrible location.
