This is the most unfriendly u haul I’ve ever been too. First we come to get our reservation but the guy at the counter was very busy playing on his phone he would ask for a drivers license and then while we took them out he was playing something else. That was 2 weeks ago when moving things to storage, now today picking up for the long haul, we ordered a car trailer and they asked if we wanted to pick the trailer up after we loaded the truck, which sounds great. We were told when we come back to get with one of the “HELPFUL” guys in the yard and they’d get us goin. WRONG first of all if these “helpful” guys are the best help you can find then the world is in a bad place. The only thing we’re happy about is that we will NEVER have to visits this uhaul again. There’s a VERY NICE AND HELPFUL UHAUL OFF OF HULEN. GO THERE AND AVOID YHIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAUGE.
Dropped my SUV off to get a hitch installed and they completely forgot about it. No communication whatsoever, they don’t even pick up the phone. Had to drive all the way over there end of day for them to remember. Go elsewhere for moving needs.
They must have deleted the previous business listing because of all the bad reviews? I am not really sure since I know there was more reviews here before. But anyway,My experience with this location was a positive one. They had good truck selections, the guy was friendly although he was coughing and sneezing and his mask was barely on.. Cmon dude really? lolBut anyway, all was good. I went there with a truck in mind and he gave me the keys. I had a pretty hard time finding it my self since the back of the building just had a ton of trucks. But these are just minor annoyances. I got a moving truck for cheap, and did what I had to do. Cant complain.
Great place if you dont mind getting yelled at. Apparently I parked in an area I wasnt supposed to and instead of being asked to move nicely, the guy was rude and yelled that I couldnt park there. The space wasnt specified and another car was parked there.
Had an appointment for over a week for a hitch installation. Show up and guess what? No hitch. Great job guys.

We had “reservations” at 9am for 17 footer they only have 15 footers one person working the counter I feel sorry for this guy as much as uhaul charges you would think they would have 2 people working the front … customers are very irritated with the wait it is now 10:10 and just being seen now over an hour wait!!! This is totally ridiculous!! I will say the staff member is so professional and I sure hope you are paying him well!!!!
Horrible customer service. General Manager (owner on name tag) is very unprofessional. I came in looking for a trailer and he got on me for not reserving online. There were at least 20 on the lot. Where in the hell does it state that reservations should be done online? The dude is lazy. Will not be going back.
Richard Atha is a horrible manager, should NOT be handling anything involving customers directly.We rented a truck and trailer on 8/8 to tow my car from Arlington to Benbrook. Getting out and in at the location was a breeze. (Except one of the wheel straps on the trailer was broken. We were only able to strap one wheel. Used the chains.)On 9/11 I noticed a third charge of $166.68 on our account. I immediately reached out to UHaul customer service and spoke with Lisa Miles. She notified us of not only an outstanding balance, but a $30 fee for it not being paid was accessed.This location does not provide printed receipts at return. They also didn’t capture an email address at checkout to ensure receipt deliverability.Lisa sent us our receipt and rental information, after reviewing with her, it was OBVIOUS a discrepancy was there. Our mileage in, showed 100 more miles than actual driven. She takes our dispute and forwards it to Richard.I wait patiently for Richard to follow up with resolve. He reaches out 9/14. In conversation with him, I repeatedly tell him there’s a discrepancy. We drove 68 miles and had the truck for about two hours.I asked him for accuracy in time stamps, because there’s no way to drive a 10ft truck w/tow trailer attached that fast. Covering 168 miles in a two hour spand. I plead with him to review cameras for actual time in and out, just to do in depth research of common sense drive time.He was belligerent and rude. Told me that what his system says, is what it is. He said HE was the one who processed the return. All he can go off of is the mileage out vs in. There was nothing else he could do for me. It was my word vs his record of mileage.I tried calling back a few times, but couldn’t reach him.So, we went in. Thankfully, I walked in the moment he was handling another customer the SAME WAY. He told them that the rental before and after theirs had no issues. And if none of them complained, it’s hard to validate an issue. Ah Ha! So he can do more research. When we got to the counter I reminded him of our conversation and of the call he just had. I asked him if he could please confirm the mileage of our truck before we rented and the mileage out at next rental, because we must find this error. Let’s start there... He proceeds to check his system and reluctantly notices the discrepancy.He tells me I was right. “OF COUSE I WAS RIGHT RICHARD!!!!” I told him that’s the research he should have done over the three days before calling us, rather than putting in zero effort to truly resolve. It’s quite absurd.He is a complete tool, incompetent and arrogant for NO REASON. Not needed for a management position at UHaul. I bet there are HUNDREDS of other customers that may not pay attention to details but have been screwed by him.I’m so thankful for Lisa Miles in the customer service department for UNDERSTANDING my complaints with empathy and with a genuine desire for resolution. Even in my frustration, she could understand my grievance. She is management material.
Came into the store around 6:15 pm and purchased 17 boxes and some tape. My problem is that there was one customer that was being taken care of and Jared was helping me. He did not offer to help me with the boxes and there was another associate doing absolutely nothing. As we speak he is on his phone . I guess I figured someone would help me but they didn’t . Worst customer service I’ve had at this location that I’ve used for many years.
The level of customer service at this location is AMAZING! We have been here for about an hour (due another location poor installation of my hitch) and the ladies outside have checked on us more than 3 times. The service gentleman even offered to fix the previously poor wiring installation from a different Uhaul. I am very thankful they helped me and took the time to fix someone elses bad installation!
Horrible customer service. Long lines and when someone finally helps you they have this I hate my job type attitude. Felt like an inconvenience. Worst employees!Avoid this location! They deserve less than 1 Star.
Terrible service. Michael was his name.rude. waited inline for 30 minutes. They said they did not have the trailer. I said I was just in the yard. It was there! He said that I was wrong. I asked him to look. He said no. went outside to look and took a picture of the trailer. He made me get back in line. 7 more people ahead of me now. I ended up waiting in line an hour. No apologies. Nothing. I was shocked.
I dont know about you guys, But if your like me I like a Uhaul Place that is up front, tells you all the cost that your getting and going to get if you go over your miles. They do not lie to you and everything is by computer. So even if you go over 1 mile you have to pay. its not the workers fault, they have to follow the system. They guys are SUPER Helpful, and are ready to help. It Does Get busy there, SO PLEASE BE PATIENT when you get there. These guys will give you the undivided attention your deserve.
Overly used truck(195k miles) with no brake lights, bad technology on check-in, no help from calling road side assistance or the store. They couldn’t care less.

Absolutely terrible service. Booked a trailer hitch installation 1.5 weeks out. Prepaid over $300. Arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment. When I told the guy (Thomas) why I was there he rolled his eyes and said that I was the second hitch installation today where they hadn’t called. He said that his installer wasn’t working and that they wouldn’t be able to install it. Now in order for me to get it done at another location, I’d have to wait at least another week.And then of course if you try to call the main number you are on hold for more than 15 minutes each time.People warned me not to go to Uhaul. I should have listened.
DO NOT RENT HERE EVER!!!I rented a $20 box truck for a few hours and drove no more than 10 miles in it estimating my total charge would be about $30 but come to find out the charges me $200!!!!Their claim was that I drove the truck 200 miles and used up a tank of gas and left it in empty.Luckily I take pictures of everything I rent before I even drive off the lot and had proof that the odometer only went up by 11 and that I received the truck on E and actually returned it with half a tank.The error was in them on how the entered the information, if I hadn’t taken pictures I would’ve eaten up that charge! It doesn’t stop there;I get a refund (after an hour of disputing with a rep) and have been waiting days for it to post on my account. (Could be my bank in that part tho). So this morning (3 days from when this happened) my account was finally credited with my refund, BUT then surprise surprise I have a brand new charge from Uhaul for $160 that was not authorized!!Long story short a dispute had to be filed with my bank to get down to the bottom of it, seems to me that they don’t keep your card information safe.PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE AND AVOID YOURSELF THE HEADACHE!!!!
I rented a climate control storage unit. The smell of mice is nauseating and revolting. The first thing the staff said to me when we reach the storage unit is we do not have mice. I immediately left, opened another storage unit elsewhere and received a refund. They may be cheap but at what cost to your belongings. What ever you stored in there, you might bring something back to your home other than your stuff. If you want to do business with them when it comes to storage units you rolling the mice....I mean dice. If you transitioning to a new home, or have kids PLEASE reconsider. When there is smoke, more than likely a fire caused it. When there is the overwhelming smell of mice, more than likely hundreds of mice caused it. You been warned.
Ive used them several times when moving out of state and back again. Employees are knowledgeable and friendly. I always feel safe when I pull off from this location. Best location Ive ever used. Highly recommend this store.
I thought I was getting a deal having the first month free with my one way trip, I was WRONG. First of all, the facility may appear clean but looks are deceiving. I am a neat freak clean person with OCD, germs. There’s no way a roach got into my box from my old apartment. But quiet as it’s kept, my boxes were sitting inside of a storage unit for 1-1/2 weeks and we get them into our brand new clean apartment and we go to open the box’s to start unpacking and BOOM “there she goes!” Out came a little baby roach! I am allergic to roaches. This is unacceptable.
What a joke. My wife made arrangements to have a hitch installed 1.5 weeks ahead of time. When we arrived, they didn’t have the part in stock. Go elsewhere.
This is the place to get your grills propane tank filled. Prompt service and much lower cost than the tank exchange services.They also are real helpful when you need a trailer or truck to haul stuff. They make sure the trailer is in good condition, and hooked up correctly before you leave.
I rented a trailer for an out-of-state move and they were great and very helpful here! They even helped me on other ideas about moving and had great input if I was going to be around here I’d be using this place more often, the staff was very helpful And knowledgeable
This place is a joke. Do not move your stuff into their storage unit location. I’ve moved my stuff in at the end of July and here it is the 6th of October and I just recently had to throw out all of my stuff because it I’ve been pooped and Peed on an eaten up on by rats. And so far I have found 6 dead Rats in my unit as well. Some have been dead laid across my furniture as well!!!!!! It’s completely disgusting, unsanitary, Diseased, And just plain gross.And when I talk to the U-Haul Employees about this they could care less and basically tell me to call 1800 Go Uhaul.They have terrible customer service and shouldn’t even be in business. When I have tried to talk to the general manager or even try to email him I have yet to hear back from him it’s always impossible to talk to him. You would think that they would want to get this matter taken care of and handled. But all they are worried about is their monthly payments which I will not be paying. I will be taking them to court and suing them for this matter. So y’all beware and do not lease from this hell hole.
This is the best uhaul location around. I Have rented equipment from them several times now and each experience has been quick, efficient and hassle free. I love their drop station.
I rent a cargo truck for $30 at the end it’s cost me $750 I forgot my phone on the truck and they take it right there while they doing inspection and don’t give it back to me, I hope that person never steal something bigger than a cell phone or cellphone no more because one day they may catch you and it’s will look really ugly.
Just bad customer service in the phone and office. When I called i asked if they had any specials. Before I could even breath the reps say NO WE DONT. Boy I felt like a door slammed on my face. I only rented the trailer there simply because there was no where else to go. In addition when I received the trailer, they did not mention I would possibly need an adapter. Sure enough when I was there it turned out I needed one. I could not disconnect and cancel the whole thing to get the one I had from home. If the Rep in the initial call would off at least mentioned it. I would have been prepared and would have appreciated their concern. But NO! I had to buy an additional adapted in order to take the trailer. Hopefully some company will open soon and give these guys some competition.

Truck was so old, not well maintained, I had battery and transmitter issue, in the middle of high way, every thing was gone, brakes, everything .i had a good fortune to take truck right shoulder, I called that place several times. They channeled me to computer rather than communicating with me, I got road assistance after calling police . I was in danger under Rainy weather . The only good thing was road assistance person. He did good Under heavy rain but I could not imagine my situation if i could not call the police.
Very good experience with them. A couple of the people that we talked to while getting out truck tried to up-sell us on the size of truck we needed, multiple times (which I didnt care for). Other than that, it was a fairly speedy and smooth experience. The selection of vehicles was also very large when we rented.

Misrepresentation of Facts of Rental, more specifically drop off location. I rented a 15’ truck from this location on 6/1/18 to move items from Fort Worth to Houston. When I reserved online, I requested a drop off location that was 2.5 miles from my move spot in Houston. When I picked up my U haul from this location, I was informed my requested drop off location was not available then given 3 that were available. I pointed out that the reason I requested that specific drop off location was it’s proximity (2.5 miles). The associate pointed to the screen & said this one is close which led (purposefully lied to me imo) me to belive that location was close so I went with that one. After getting to Houston & unloading, I found out the location the associate directed my attention to me was in fact 21 miles / 35 mins away. After unloading, the time was after 7pm which is after hours for U haul so I had to wait until the next day even though I desired to drop off & do online confirmation of drop off. The next morning I called into scheduling & they updated me to the address I had initially requested. This review is a warning to anyone who does business with this location that they misrepresent drop off locations. Do not agree to one unless it’s your preferred. There was a long line behind me & I did not want to hold everyone else up so I relied on the representation made to me by the associate. I encourage everyone to take their phone out & do a distance check before agreeing to anything about a drop off destination. The kicker is that when I called in (not the location itself but a remote scheduling number) the next morning, I was told it was no problem to switch. If it was no problem then why would this location try to send me that far out of my way (likely to save them money on having to transport a vehicle themselves to one of their franchises for a RSVP)!
Dont even waste your time dealing with these clowns. They have no idea what they are doing, they dont qoute things correctly and do not honor reservations. Trust me, Go somewhere else!
Ive been to this uhaul twice now and Ive hated it both times. Awful customer service and most of the employees dont know what theyre doing or dont care. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Giving it two stars because it is a convenient location and it was very clean in the store.

Company are scammers they’ll overcharge your card despite the vehicle being in their face. Stole $150+ And then claims that it’ll take 10 business days to refund. Your scamming a**es didn’t take 10 days to steal it. Rent somewhere else preferably where your card does not remain on file for scam artists who hope you don’t check your statements.
I was disappointed. They made mistakes with my access, when i had paid for 24/hr. I fell on uneven sidewalk and broke my rib right in front of the store and it would have been nice if they had been caring about it..i turned my rental unit in early and they didnt offer me money back..im sure they rented it out again, making double money for same space. Its a shame they dont improve their customer interactions
Thomas will skip people in line to assist caucasians group over any other ethnicities, regardless of waiting for assistance. Then lie in someones face about it, no support from management either. Very careless staff.( Avoid location if discrimination is a concern. )

Richard was very rude and short to us but to the ladies before and when he left us and went to help another lady he was very friendly only reason giving this many stars is because the lady who came to help when ever he went to help another lady was very nice and friendly and informative
Rented a pickup and when I went to drop it off, I left my phone in the truck. There were two guys who received the truck, the general manager who is pictured and some other fool. When I realized I had done so, I went back to get it and of course no one had seen it. Bugged them multiple times about this and finally concluded it was lost. Screw this place and its employees. At least one of them. This review will stay until this place fixes this situation. Until then...
I have rented several times and towed their motorcycle trailers many times. But when booking always bid them against their compatition. I have saved 1000$,s by letting them beat ryder or others. 1 person in the office. Need more personnel. Stood in line for 15min just for propane.I’ve also rented a trailer here before. Waited in line for 30min and only one person working the line and one person outside. If you don’t value your time by all means come here because they are more than glad to waste it. Last time I come back to this place.
