The ad is so misleading. Doesnt say 55 and older. The ad stated if you need transportation to employment, Dr., or people with disabilities. Will not recommend this service to anyone. They need to update their ad.

This agency is simply amazing. They offermore than meets the eye. They really want to help people, they really want to see people succeed. I am apart of more than one of their programs, and they are really helping me and my family out a lot, simply a blessing.

Catholic charities does a lot of good, and is a good resource for those in need.

They reduced their hours. Love to see more hours .Maybe we will get there 2021.

Not sure whats worse - the horrible attitude of the dentists who work there or the quality of their product. Astonishing lack of empathy.My fathers first denture was done completely wrong. Had to redo. The second denture cracked in about 6 months. We had to pay again for them to repair it even it was clearly their fault. A little over a year later teeth started to fall out out of that denture.My mothers partial denture had to be refitted twice and even now it fits terribly. Her front tooth crown got dislodged just weeks after the procedure and there is nothing theyre going to do about it.Horrible place. Save your money and go to a real dentist. This is a classic case of you get what you pay for...

Catholic Charities is a great place! They can help people from all walks of life. I went today for an Appointment at their low-cost Dental Clinic. It is a full service Dentistry Clinic where the FEES are based on your Income. The Staff is professional and very good.I will definitely return.

They simply make you feel at home. Courteous staff. Offering precious support to those facing challenging situations.I had some cheaply priced immigration services. And there is always free food for those who need it, mostly breads and pastries.

Very poor...could not get the help I needed...upsetting to not have services needed...no transport to drs office...

I have every bit of respect to catholic charities and anyone that looks out for the poor. This is definitely the place to be if youre new in the dfw region. Staff are very helpful and will go that full mile to help someone out.

Definitely a place that deserves more than 5 stars. They offer a lot of services to the community in multiple languages, no matter your religion or color they always help you. They took my immigration case and today I am a resident and they also offer medical and utilities for those who need it the most. I really hope that this organization continues to grow and that I would love to know how people can contribute to their cause because you can really see that they give back to the community.

Dental clinic doesnt pick up their phone. They also dont deal with their voice mail, so you cant leave a message. They also dont call to schedule you when there say they will schedule you. Theres literally no way I can contact these people without physically showing up to their office during a pandemic :)Their dental work is decent but Ive never had such a tortured contact experience with any medical practicioner.

An easy appointment scheduling process, short wait, and kind and professional staff.

This organization provides much encouragement and support for matters in my life that i just do not have the answers for. They show a lot of respect and dignity towards me. They have a team that works towards genuine solutions to problems that i am facing. I personally can not thank them enough.

If you are new to the area or in need of some help. Give them a call. They are there to help you out with any need or problem. Very godly and understanding people.

The location in Whichta Falls is joke. State said they would help with utilities. Nope. Only if its 2 certain power companies. Guess the Catholics really are just a business now. Dont care about ppl any more

Setup an appointmentment, found out maybe a day later I no longer needed the service. Ive been calling from about mid July up to today (8/14/17) at the correct time slot (8am-10am) and have left countless messages in an attempt to cancel my appointment to no avail. Ive called several numbers/extensions for the church in an attempt to reach someone of higher authority only to be told I should just leave another message. The woman on the line said they usually take about a week to respond to, however its been roughly a month.

Really bad inmmigration services and when they do help you they do it all wrong.

I cant say much just yet other than I called them about reduced cost dental services and the woman I spoke with was incredibly caring and helpful. It seems like they really do whatever they can to help. Nobody can do everything for everyone but at least places like these are trying to do something for as many people as they can. It amazes me that people are reviewing this place like a buisness. They are a charity, they do as much as they can. People complaining about them not being fast enough or organized enough really must be stuck in a entitlement bubble. At least they are trying. There would be a lot more places like this if fewer people acted entitled to their help. Its a privilege to have an option to pay less, not an entitlement. Anyways my experience so far has been excellent.

You say you want to help people, I cant tell!Its supposed to get back down to 46° tonight, and there are a lot of homeless people out here who dont have adequate clothing, or blankets, or shelter to keep themselves warm tonight!You people really want to help, go buy some blankets, something that would keep you warm, if you were out here in 40° weather, or some sleeping bags!Theres a lot of people out here who may have a sleeping bag, but it got wet from the storm we had lastnight!You people say you want to end poverty, one family at a time, which is right, but one one a year!What about the homeless!What are you doing for them?Besides going out, and passing out packages of peanutbutter crackers, and bottles of water! Huh!What good are you people anyhow!?

The Child and Welfare Assesment center at Catholic Charities is horrible. No one should work for them! The management there is sub par at best!! Don’t work for them!! I am warning you!!! The managent is selfish and does not know how to lead. They are the bastard step child of the agency, higher up leadership doesn’t care about anyone who works in that department excecpt for the program manager! WARNING DO NOT WORK FOR CHILD AND WELFARE ASSMENT CENTER!!!!

Good luck getting through to these people, no one answers the phone, the waiting que for being 2nd in line is roughly 20 minutes and the website doesn’t allow you to apply for an appointment online.

Great people, they help you as soon as you walk into the building.

Since June of last year, I had a procedure done and had to get a follow up. Charity never gave me a ride to my appointments so I always had to keep rebooking them. Recently two days before my appointment I tried to get a ride to visit my doctor and customer service was rude to me saying I couldnt get a ride. When asked why they said they couldnt tell me. What is the point trying to book ahead 2 days ahead only to tell you that they cant give you a ride. Customer service needs to better trained since they dont know how to schedule a ride. The supervisor called me back told me to use Uber and that they couldnt guarantee a ride. I told him if I could afford an Uber I wouldnt have asked them for help. Everyone is so rude. I dont see any hope or help. I dont see the point of this service if 90% of the time you are denied a ride. They need improvement. For sure you cant count on them. I would give them a zero if I could. I already give up.

The people here are the nicest. They treat people with respect and compassion.

I went into this place looking for help. Yolanda was my case worker, before we could begin I was so distraught. Ms. Yolanda met me in the moment and held me up just by giving me hope she pointed me into the right direction to pick my life back up.

It is as relevant and concise of information that is out there to be had.

If I had a choice, i would give them a zero. There transportation service is extremely difficult, disorganized, and unhelpful. It makes me sick to my stomach!! After utilizing there service for a year on how many times they dropped the ball..literally. My advice, expect to be picked up irregular times and sometimes waiting for more than an hour, on getting back home. Second. HAVE A BACK UP PLAN.

Useless. Just useless. I called to ask about transportation to work, which I work in Bedford, and was told that there isnt any transportation that heads out to Bedford. But if thats the case, than why have I seen one of their buses at my job in Bedford? And, when you try to get someone to help you on the phone, they tell you to hang up and call another number and wait for eternity to talk to someone else only to tell you to hang and call someone else. This organization is useless. No help at all.

Trying to schedule transportation is a nightmare! After holding for 10 minutes, recording saying, Theres no one here to take your call at this time. This is nothing new. I have used them since they took over from Red Cross. Its ALWAYS like this! They say theyre here to give you hope. But, all we can hope for is that they will answer & show up. Call, after call, after call, just trying to get through to schedule a ride. Then they are rude & uncaring if they are late & make you miss a doctors appt or leave your groceries to spoil after shopping. AND, ITS NOT FREE. THEY CHARGE US FOR THIS ABUSE.Still trying to schedule. Waited 30 minutes & got the same mans recording AND IT IS DURING BUSINESS HOURS. Waited another 6 minutes & same recording. Waited another 40 minutes & STILL mans recording, Theres no one to take your call at this time. This, even though it is Wednesday, Sept 7, 2016!!!!I called main number & woman said to call back & talk to dispatch. Dispatch said I would just have to keep calling transportation scheduling until someone answers. I called the transportation director, Amy Willard. She says theyre just very busy & to give her my number & someone will call me back & schedule my transport. I asked if Bea is the only person answering that scheduling line. She claims an employee had a death in the family. I answered, Well, so did I, which is true! WE SHALL SEE IF SOMEONE CALLS ME BACK!!!!!!!!!NO ONE CALLED ME BACK!!!!!On the 8th, I CALLED, held for 8 minutes & Naaman answered to schedule my ride for the 14th of this month.Then, on the 13th, I called, on hold for 12 minutes, & Bea scheduled my transport for 21st of this month. IT IS NECESSARY TO MAKE PLANS & SCHEDULE AT LEAST A WEEK IN ADVANCE IF A SENIOR CITIZEN WANTS TO BE ABLE TO BUY FOOD TO SURVIVE.

A1 First class organization. I attended the Noche de Fiesta charity gala. Its there I realized that they help so many people in a multitude of ways. Even so much as someone needing a ride to work until thet can get a car of their own. And list goes on and on of basic services CCFW provides.
