Nice place. The desk clerk was extremely welcoming and nice, best Ive experienced. Shower did have a big crack in the wall. Carpet had a dark stain, but I survived. The breakfast buffet was good.

All in all we had a good stay. The room was nice and clean. The only issue we had was that we almost missed out on the event we came out here for because when I finally put some of my belongings in the safe it completely locked up on me and wouldnt open. That whole ordeal took about 3.5 hours and ultimately the lead engineer had to come out on his day off to get on the line with the tech from the safe company. In the end they had to just break the safe open. Giving 5 stars either way because the room was nice and quiet and we were still able to get to the event, just a little late.

This Marriott has gone down hill due to Covid. They are understaffed so rooms are not cleaned and maintained. The publicize they disinfect and clean rooms, but when you find MOLD on the AC vents and leftover food in the mini refrigerator, it make you wonder if they really are cleaning the rooms properly. The management does not reach out to guest who have complained and the staff enter your rooms even if you have the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door. Marriott is not living up to their flag property status! I get cleaner reliable rooms at the Springhill Suites for less money.

Room is nice however I have issues with the housekeeping. Housekeeping knocked on my door despite DND sign displayed. She seemed shocked when I opened the door as she probably thought the room was vacant. Fine if its a one-off thing. Two days later my DND sign was still on my door and guess what? Now they did not knock on my door but they call my room! Asking whether I will be checking out on that day! It was 130pm but I was in the middle of my sleep due to different time zone I was adapting to. My question is why does housekeeping need to disturb the guest for such information? They could easily know when the guest is expected to check out by checking with the front desk staff. Seeking information from the guest should be the very last resort especially when DND sign is displayed on the door.

Clean and cordial. Coffee bar girl especially helpful and positive. Manager of the hotel was outstandingly compassionate in dealing with folks escaping the cold and water during the winter storm. Folks traveling were accommodated with courtesy and efficiency. All employees pitched in to see that all tasks were accomplished. Cant say enough.

I am honestly not sure how they have even 4 stars. We booked on their website a double bed room but when we got there they only had a king with a sleeper sofa. We decided to give that a try only to open the sleeper sofa to find yellow stains, black spots, not sure if was bugs or just lint, and some hairs. Oh and the pool is not at all as big as the picture makes it seem.

Will not stay at this Marriott again. Scheduled a ride with the shuttle at 7am. Got outside at 6:57am. Waited till 7:05am and then asked where the shuttle is at. To which I was told to hold on. Then was told they left promptly at 7am which was now 7:15am as I was being told this. Taking a $45 Uber Black because all the other services were 20 plus mins away and I would have been late to checking my bag in for my flight. Manager just seemed irritated to address the situation with me. I got a very short and curt answer of schedule an Uber to the airport if your going to be late. I know it wasnt his fault about the shuttle but the attitude he had about it was his fault and not necessary. Stay at the Hyatt is my advice.

My wife and 2 small kids stayed here for the weekend and was told we couldn’t receive clean towels until the following day after 9am.after a full day of walking from visiting Six Flags we all where looking forward to showers.Manager made no attempt to accommodate us and simply over looked me after saying there where no towels available and started talking the family behind us.I paid 300 dollars plus a100$ hold for this Motel 6 type treatment.

Front desk girl stated that I was going to a newly renovated room, though I made no request or even mentioned the room. Room, especially the bathroom was not.Missing light next to the bed and alarm clock not even plugged in.Bathroomm floor was sticky from spill. Restaurant was good.

I stayed here during a three day business trip. I highly rate this place.The hotel staff was very helpful. The helped us find some very good restaurants to try while we were there. The shuttle service was also a pleasant experience when we used it.The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable.The view I had was facing the airport. I could see the planes taking off and landing. And the good news was that I could not hear them at all...Ill definitely use this place again when I travel back toDallas...

Although there was a very large event taking place, the staff were able to stay calm and offer exceptional services. The rooms were clean and very spacious. To me the only down part most people will never see is Brandon I really dont know his title but according to him this is my hotel as he talks down to people. Brandon yes it is your hotel. Good:Rooms were nice and well appointed. Restaurant staff was friendly and food was good. Bad:-Concierge was closed from arrival on Thursday through Monday morning. Staff told us different accounts of why and when it would reopen (New policy, concierge on vacation...). No good option for coffee and refreshments during my 5-night business stay. -Fitness Center is small and needs new nautilus equipment and sanitary gym mats. -Rooms with adjoining doors can be very loud. No sound proofing.There are better options in the area for fitness center and concierge. Will likely not return based on this experience. And, if the hotel has restrictions, guests should be made aware at booking or provided compensation during stay.

Drove 6 hours to get here. First, I got mixed up with which Marriot I was staying at so I called the reservation line. After multiple calls and multiple people telling me theres no reservations at any of the 12 locations in the area FINALLY one person found it and gave me the address. Got checked in easily, I booked 2 rooms. 1 was a kind for 2 nights, 1 was a double queen for 1 night. Got into our King and its HOT. The AC would not cool the room lower than 73 degrees. They had maintenance come DOUR TIMES before moving us to another room that was cooler but not great. Guess the air in the whole hotel isnt very good.Then when my grandpa and dad came the next day for their room, they put them in the same room we moved from which was pitiful and it wasnt even 2 queens, it was a long! So they decided to give me a discounted night which was wonderful.Checkout day comes, and Im charged double. Not worth the money, will never book again. BUT staff was very friendly which I appreciated.

This was a beautiful hotel with a very accommodating staff and lovely rooms. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was great, and the room’s modern decor was very stylish. We stayed here because we had an early flight out of DFW airport the next morning. Our flight was cancelled and postponed till the next day, so we were very thankful for the delicious food in the hotel restaurant. The shuttle service was prompt and the driver was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again when we fly out of DFW airport.

Upon check in I was told that I was upgraded to one of Marriotts Suites on the first floor. That was a plus for me considering that initially I felt as if the room was a tad expensive for a one night stay. The suite was adjacent from the pool (kind of a downer.) I could look out of my window & directly across the courtyard I could see the pool, but fortunately no one was visiting the pool. Other than that, The suite was very large, roomy, well lit and plenty of space for work for myself and other business partners that stopped by. The TV was enormous and the bathroom was not as spacious as the room itself, but still not too shabby at all! The sectional sofa and bed were very comfortable. I would definitely check them out again only if I would be guaranteed the same price for a suite. For the price paid, i think a regular room would not suffice.

This location has been recently remodeled and they didn’t miss a beat. For someone who travels a lot for work, finding a hotel that is comfortable and has a lot of amenities is hard. The Marriott South did a great job of providing a comfortable stay. The staff was wonderful and the bar/restaurant was top notch. I will be returning in the future for another work stay.

There is a machine that pumps public bathroom chemical fragrance in the lobby making the lobby unbearable, headache from the stagnant, chemical laden air was almost immediate. Wonder if they have a septic leak in the lobby that they need to cover up. Same stagnant chemical air problem in room if you get one they just sprayed. No way to open window and get the chemical out of room. Plus the music style they attack public spaces with is grating on the nerves. Would be great hotel if the didn’t attack the senses with chemicals and noise.

We enjoyed our overnight stay. The remodel is beautiful. Our kids want to come stay at the hotel for fun another time as we were just staying overnight to catch an early flight out of DFW International. The kids were super impressed with the M Club access for reward members. The candy bar sealed the deal on the best hotel stay for them. The husband and I joked that we shouldn’t have paid thousands to fly out on vacation and should have just stayed at the Marriott DFW a few days and the kids would not have minded one bit. They can’t wait to go back. Thank you Marriott for not disappointing.

This is my second stay at this property over the past few months. We are local residents in DFW and have chosen to bring the family to enjoy the property as a getaway. Our kids love swimming in the indoor pool on a cold winter day. My wife and I enjoyed the fitness center and great food at Doc’s bar and Kitchen. On each of our stays, the staff have been extremely friendly making sure we were having a great stay. As a business traveler during the week, I see many great Marriott properties across the U.S. DFW Airport Marriott South is on the top of my favorites list due to the beautiful full renovation with upscale decor, amazing friendly staff, 10 out of 10 in cleanliness, and extremely comfortable beds. Whether you are a local or business traveler, I recommend staying this property.

Stayed at DFW Airport Marriott South from 6/21- 6/23. The first night I stayed there was a situation where my room was charged for something that I did not purchase. I spoke with the management team and the manager on site at the time ( I believe her name was Jennifer ) handled this situation very well. Seeing that I was frustrated and reasonably so, she provided several options to me in order to correct the error. The fact that she was understanding, offered solutions and corrected the error quickly were great things to see as a customer. Quality customer service, along with nice newly renovated rooms made for a great stay in the end.

I was in DFW for a conference at the company selected this hotel. I thought my room was clean. However after a restless night. I didnt know why I was unable to sleep. I thought my pillows were just old and it felt like something was sticking me in my neck. I kept adjusting to my pillows to no avail. Finally I fell asleep but was quickly awakened feeling something on my skin! Not knowing exactly what I was seeing! I was so alarmed it was a BEDBUG! I immediately jumped up and there were more very small black looking bugs crawling! I called down to the front desk and someone came up and she grabbed a plastic bag saying she had to capture the bugs for her manager! I was furious and felt disappointed and and disgusted!

I loved this hotel. I stayed here on a last minute trip for my brothers wedding. The staff were very accommodating due to last minute changes in check in details. The hotel is luxurious and spacious with full amenities. I had a disabled room due to my joint issues. It went beyond my expectations for a disabled room and was actually on the first floor. I will definitely stay at this hotel, again.

Can I give it a negative? We were there for the Cotton Bowl And booked a Room for 4. First, when we got there we noticed it was a king bed only even though the Room said king bed with a chair or couch. The Room should sleep four. This Room could not sleep for so we had to call down and get a roll away bed which didnt come with any blankets.When we came in I noticed that there were 2 marks on the wall where it looked like somebody had hit the wall. However, it was not my family who hit the wall. I thought it was odd since the advertisement said that it was a newly renovated hotel. I did not think anything else about it until I got a $300 charge to my bank for those 2 marks on the wall which I know 100% we did not do. We were barely in the room since we were out doing Cotton Bowl events. When I spoke with the manager he said, you know we inspect the rooms? Well if that were true I wish they would have inspected it before we got there. Because not only would they have seen those holes in the wall but they would have noticed that the glass door to the bathroom is absolutely filthy. Im sorry that your housekeeping did not do their job and report those holes from the actual people who did them, But I know 100% that it was not my family that did it. I am not paying $300 for someone elses damage. We travel all over the world and not one time have we had this happen. I would be more than happy to pay for damage that my family did because accidents do happen and given that my mother works in the hotel industry, I understand what goes into hotel work. I would never represent her or my company that way. I do not Appreciate having $300 stolen out of my account and then being treated like a petty criminal over damage I did not do.

This hotel appears markets toward business travelers but I actually like to stay in business hotels. There are tons of meeting spaces and this hotel is close to the airport. Room was nice, and we got lounge access due to some error inside the Bonvoy app. Lounge was meager at best, but its quiet and the breakfast was decent. The staff are what give this place such good reviews though. Front desk staff are sharp, helpful and friendly. Thanks for a great stay.

I spent one night at this property. This Marriott is the design where the front desk/restaurant/meeting rooms are in one area, and the hotel rooms in another area. Front desk person was friendly and efficient. Dinner at the restaurant was good, with speedy service, and a lively crowd at the bar. My King room was spacious and comfortable. This a remodeled property with the usual 5 shower/glass shower door instead of a tub/curtain. Everything in the room was typical Marriott quality. A nice place to be. Fitness center is medium sized, and has nice equipment. Shuttle van to the airport was appreciated. Definitely would recommend staying here.

The room was very spacious! I loved the addition of a table with the chair in addition to a desk. There was plenty of room to move around in. The bathroom was lovely with plenty of counter space. The bed was a bit on the firm side but roomy and overall comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and the staff was accommodating. Easy check in and check out with wonderful desk staff.

The hotel has a modern look to it. It was clean throughout. There was plenty of parking. Check in was fast & easy. The AC was difficult to control because I would put it on fan but it would switch off. I wanted the extra noise from the fan to drown out the airplanes flying overhead & the hallway noise. The beds are firm & the pillows were awful! They were down which I do not prefer it at all. It flattens out if you are a side sleeper, which I am. I brought my body pillow & ended up using it as a pillow during the night. Ive stayed in many hotels over the years & it looks like firm beds & down pillows are the norm. :( Overall we had a nice visit though. I would recommend it & would probably stay here again.

Had 2 rooms with my family of 6. Rooms were great. Needed a crib in each room and they made it possible. Pool was nice and offered plenty towels. Club lounge was kind of small and warm but had good soft drink selection. Room service was very nice and quick. Breakfast at the restaurant was satisfactory. They went above and beyond to make sure we were all okay. Bed was a little firmer than desired. Overall good stay

We stayed just for the night in support of our daughters graduation from America Airlines Flight Attendance Training. The hotel and training school as well as airport are close to one another and could easily be reached using the hotel shuttle or a ride service. Because we arrived later in the day we had an opportunity to enjoy a light dinner, rest and the following morning a quick breakfast so we could have more time with our daughter.

We stayed there for a cheer competition last weekend. There were 3 teams from our gym. The majority of our rooms were not ready by the stated check in time of 4:00. We were given excuses about what a full house they had the night before. Many of us had to return our luggage to our cars because we had practice that night and couldn’t get ready. The staY itself was fine, however the day after checkout I received an email that we had damaged a hand towel and would be charged $50. $50 for a hand towel with makeup on it!! I was shocked. I have asked several times if they even tried to wash the towel and never receive a response. I was told they went through every room where cheerleaders were staying and took pictures of the towels. Any towels with makeup on them were charged to the customer. I filed a complaint with Marriott corporate and have tried to talk to two different managers but neither will respond to my emails. Will never stay there again !!

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff willing to answer all our questions! The restaurant has a great menu that is decently priced with some good drinks. The appetizers were really good after a long travel day and our waitress was very sweet and accommodating. There was a big football convention thing going on in the hotel but the staff still made sure we werent ignored, that made us feel very good.

We were in town for the Cowboys vs Texans game so we only stayed one night and our friends were actually going to stay at another hotel but when they saw the rooms and the price they decided to stay at the Marriott with us. The staff were very helpful with adding another room to our reservation; they even gave us connecting rooms which was Awesome-sauce! The price, the staff, the location, the free shuttle to the airport and the rooms were ALL exceptional. I will most definitely stay at this hotel again.

Modern, clean, comfortable. I got had to stay here on an airline voucher (missed connection flight) so I dont know the prices, but this was a very nice hotel. It felt upscale when I wasnt expecting it, although Im not terribly familiar with Marriott. Im health conscious so I really appreciate the bowl of green apples at the desk. I waited for a shuttle to catch my flight, but due to an influx of tourists the shuttle was full, so the hotel bought a taxi for me, very happy with that.

I had the opportunity to stay five nights at the newly updated Marriott Hotel. I look for comfort, ease in interaction with staff/check-in etc. and Marriott was great. Their convenient buffet breakfast had many choices so one could start their day off with a healthy, well balanced breakfast. The rooms are delightful and makes one feel they can sink right into relaxation mode. The only thing I missed was my swim suit for a nice swim in what looked like an inviting pool. Thank you - Marriott!

First stay at this location. The hotel is nice and clean and beautiful. However the breakfast buffet was horrible. Food was cold and plates were dirty. I feel sorry for the employees because they were running back and forth. Wait time to be seated and then not enough food ready. Only ate one plate for $21 dollars a person. I loved the moderness of Marriott. The hospitality of the staff was top notch. The room was very nice, clean, and well put together. The bed was nice and comfy. It felt a lot more open than some other Hilton hotels Ive been at. The shower was very nice. I cant get enough or it. I would go back just for the shower. There were 2 shower heads that could be used to wash hard to reach places or at the same time (for you know what 😋)But overall, I loved this hotel and glad I could stay in it.

Our stay was short, but our good feeling started from the moment we walked in this hotel which has a comfortable view and service. The hotel still had a beautiful holiday décor that made us feel happy. It started from a smooth check in, we then went to the hotel restaurant that had a nice setting with a friendly service. We were satisfied with our warm and delicious food. It was easy and convenient in making an arrangement for picking up and dropping off at the airport with friendly dispatcher and drivers. We decided to drive out to Fossil Rim Wildlife Center and stay the night at DFW Airport Marriott South so we can enjoy another day in the area. The hotel staff were pleasant and provided everything that we needed. We enjoyed the various snacks, drinks and hospitality at the M Lounge and the morning breakfast buffet at Docs was nice. My daughter and I enjoyed the indoor pool and this is definitely the Marriott experience that I enjoy. It would be nice if the hotel had a charger for electric cars but we loved the free parking.

Nice design and I think there is an uodate occurring at this property. Bar is nice but expensive (typical for Marriott). Staff is well trained and used to large amounts of buisness clientele. There are a few eating options nearby/ within walking distance.

All the staff was very nice and professional. The M Club was an added bonus. I loved how clean it was and there was a Starbucks espresso maker in there! How cool is that. Check in was easy. The room service was excellent. 10/10 will be staying there when I’m in town.

Planned Lone Star Park outing the night before a vacation flight. Live hour & half from airport, and had considered staying in area rather than driving home, and back next day. Found the Marriott DFW South, and worked beautifully. Will probably never park at airport again. Great room, comfy bed, wonderful pillows, and delightful shower. Clean, nice parking, and quick delivery and pick up to/from DFW Airport. Will definitely stay again when we need to fly.

Very nice hotel. The room was modern and very clean. The staff was great and everything we asked for was brought to the room immediately. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The TV had Netflix for you to access your account which was great for the kids. Excellent stay and a great value.

I have been a Marriott Rewards Member for some time now and there is a reason why. I am never disappointed by the service, cleanliness, and over all hospitality of this hotel chain. This hotel (DFW South) was exceptional in what it had to offer. The room was spacious, well planned and bed soooo comfortable. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, no matter where we were. The wine selection was actually really good for a hotel bar and I was blown away by the service. I am always disappointed when I have to stay in another hotel besides Marriott for whatever the reason and can honestly say, this is my new standard. Thank you, Marriott for keeping the bar so high!

At 7 pm they bring out cookies and brownies which are great with milk or the expresso from the machine. This property does great job communicating through the Marriott mobile app chat and email, for any requests such as early check-in. Upon arrival, complies were very welcoming and courteous. This property includes an M Lounge, large lobby community area with updated decor and furniture, tons of areas to watch TV, charge your devices, or just lounge. There is also a Starbucks inside for your coffee needs. Room was very clean and tidy with update furniture and bathroom. A+ for this property!

Overall a positive experience. Front desk helped correct a mistake I made (reserved the room for Friday night instead of Saturday night) at no charge. Check out was not an issue, and the hotel fitness room was sufficient for a quick work out (some free weights, treadmill, water). The room carpet was not quite clean, but I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Love this hotel!!!! I have been staying here for years and the new renovation is PHENOMINAL. The service is outstanding, rooms are beautiful and has good food options in the restaurant. I love how it is near the airport but you feel far enough away from the runway. You can walk to nearby shops and restaurants so not an isolated area. Love this hotel!!!

The hotel is close to the Dallas Forth Worth airport. There is a shuttle every half an hour between 5 am and 11 pm. They also pick up from the airport. The surrounding is good. There is a restaurant in the hotel. There are close fast food restaurants but they are not good, 7-11 and gas station next to the hotel. The hotel is clean, quiet, new and comfortable. The room is good. Bathroom is new. The meeting rooms are well-maintained and serviced. It is not cheap. It is worth to stay here. I recommend this hotel.

Don’t use the towels unless you want to be charged. I was charged $10 each for 2 hand towels along with a $30 restocking fee after checkout. They claim the towels were stained with makeup but won’t answer when I asked if they even tried to launder said towels. Don’t stay here. Staff was unfriendly and did nothing but make excuses. Most of our cheer team had to wait for rooms to be cleaned upon check in which was 4:00pm.
