Very honest company. I thought I needed their service because I heard birds chirping from inside my chimney. When I called on a Sunday morning (assuming I would need to leave a message), my call was answered immediately. To my surprise, I was told that the birds are probably just sitting on top of the chimney and that I should check next time I hear them. He was right! I really appreciate the honesty. Will use in the future if I need any chimney service.

I highly recommend Canterbury Chimney Sweeps! Chris came to our house on January 3rd, 2020. He was running behind but called to notify us. Upon arrival, Chris was wearing a top hot and greeted us with a big, jolly smile. He came in and assessed our chimney. He found there was a blockage which surprised me. He pulled out a piece of red cloth and explained to my children that it must have been Santas pants that he snagged when he came down our chimney! My kids were so ecstatic! Chris let them keep the piece of Santas pants which added to their excitement! Chris resumed checking and cleaning our chimney in a very timely manner. He was very kind, funny and friendly with a jolly personality. We will most definitely be calling Chris for all of our chimney needs in the future!

Canterbury Chimney Sweep is a great company! My husband called this company and we were able to get them at our home in the matter of days. I spoke with Teresa on the phone the day of to check on the estimated time of arrival and she was so sweet (although she couldnt hear me well because of the echo)! Chris, the owner, was here right on time and answered all of my questions about chimney maintenance! Additionally, he shared the history of chimney sweeps and left me a good luck button! I’m late in posting a review as it has been a while since I called Canterbury. I’m in a new house and need to get the chimney cleaned and there is no one else I’d go to. Not only did they make my fireplace beautiful again, they kept my 3 children mesmerized in the process. It was like a real life Mary Poppins chimney sweep adventure. He even sang to the kids and handed each of them a penny. He also found a piece of Santa’s suit as he was cleaning and my kids still talk about it. I love supporting small businesses and this one is top-notch!

Chris was very professional when cleaning the chimney and dryer vent for our newly purchased home. He explained things well, was unhurried, on time, and neat (no mess!). He was great with our dogs. Our dryer still didnt work well after he left so he came back a second time to make sure it worked properly. He kept his word about standing behind his work and didnt charge for the second service call. Honest guy!

Canterbury Chimney Sweep just came out and took care of our living room chimney - weve lived here for two years and never had it serviced. The difference in appearance is amazing! Everything is so clean! The price was definitely fair, and their customer service was wonderful - we apparently have a wasp nest up in the chimney somewhere and they took care of all the bugs that came out during the cleaning, secured the chimney when they were done so that the critters could not come in the house, and gave us some advise on how to take care of them once we were ready to light our first fire. We definitely recommend this company.

I found Canterbury online and read the reviews. Convinced that I ought to give them a try, I called and easily made an appointment to have my fireplace and chimney cleaned and inspected. I was given a price quote (which was exactly what I later paid) as well. The friendly service was quick, and he explained to me how things worked (Im relatively new to fireplaces). Our fireplace is looking so much better and is ready (and safe) to use for the fall, winter and holidays. (He also gave us some safety tips and reminded us to get our Carbon Monoxide alarm installed soon.) We recommend Canterbury!

We were in desperate need of a chimney sweep. My wife called 5 companies in the DFW area and never got an answer, left voicemails and received no response. She started asking around and was referred to Canterbury by a co-worker. Teresa was very polite and willing to work with our work schedule. the appointment was scheduled between 5:30 and 6 pm. I arrived at my house at 5:22 and Chris was waiting for me. He was very professional and friendly. I let him in my house and put my dogs outside. He had no problem with my dogs as he was inspecting the outside of my chimney. Chris made us aware of a small problem that we had on the outside of the chimney and told us a few ways that were very cost-effective to fix it. Chris then proceeded to clean the chimney. he was very careful not to make a mess in our house as he worked very diligently to clean our chimney. The process took approximately 45 minutes from start to finish and he explained what he was doing the entire time. I was afraid we would have to replace our damper and I mentioned it to him. Upon inspection he assured me that my damper was fine. I felt he was very honest, fair and professional the entire time he was at my house. Chris gave a few pointers and was on his way. I feel the service provided was very good and the price was fair. I have enjoyed my fireplace without worry since the work was performed. I would recommend them to everyone I know. If you are looking to have your chimney swept dont waste your time. Give them a call, you wont regret it.

Canterbury Chimney came out cleaned our chimney. Scheduling the appointment was a breeze. They were very flexible and worked around my schedule. He showed up on time.
