In my 73 yrs I guess Ive sought Tune & Lube service a few hundred times in my life by now; usually a fairly mundane event. So imagine my surprise and delight when I took my Highlander in to Road Runner where I found the whole experience unusually sweet! Begining my favourable impressions, the waiting area was spic-&-span with comfortable seating, TV and surprisingly a Child Zone complete with toys! I was greeted by Chris Coyle whose amiability and novel sense of humor could hardly mask his knowledge and professionalism. The positive atmosphere was further projected by his crew whose positivity and jovial banter demonstrated their happiness on the job. Chris thoughtfully kept me advised of my cars status throughout the process. And when it came time to settle up I was presented with a bill that was less than expected after having received more than I bargained for! Thanks Road Runner, I know where to go from now on.

My low tire pressure alert came on while driving on the expressway. It was very concerning as the low tire was almost 10 psi lower than the others. I drove straight here and they fixed it!! At first, they didn’t find a problem because the sensor said it was a front tire. So, instead of letting me drive away, they went ahead and checked all my tires- that’s when they found the nail! I’m so grateful they did that. They were so helpful and I will definitely be back!

I just recently moved to Texas from Michigan and took my car here to get the state inspection. Little did I know how much rust my car had from Michigan roads. Steven and his staff are absolutely awesome. They fixed everything they possibly could while staying within my budget range, updated me on my car multiple times throughout the day(s), and my car seriously drives so much better. Steven made sure to let me know multiple times all he cares is my safety and the safety of the vehicle. Definitely gained a loyal client, I will always come here now!!

The manager, Steven, was extremely polite and helpful in setting up my vehicles’s needs. I went here on a Saturday afternoon expecting a long wait. The staff was friendly, professional, and done in 30 minutes. The price was great and I didn’t have to readjust the seats, mirrors, or radio station like I often do after other places service my car. They made it quick and easy for me!

Im not mad just really disappointed. I went in for an inspection in the morning and they said I failed because my back break lights were not working. They said the only way to tell me what was wrong was to do a diagnosis which cost $100. Then they tell me the lights arent working because something is melted and that they will have to replace both back headlights. They quoted me $392 for each headlight and with labor and taxes it amounted to $1,200. I looked up the parts online and its cheaper literally anywhere else and even only $180 for both on Amazon. I took my car somewhere else and all they did was put in new light bulbs FOR FREE and they did my inspection and I passed all for ONLY $25. If youre coming to Roadrunner for an inspection, I would get a second opinion elsewhere if they try and sell you something to make you pass your inspection. Very sad that I was treated this way, I hope they can do better.

They were very timely and thorough. I checked in and only had a 30min. wait. And they checked me out very quickly and they were very friendly as well as professional!

I took my car for an alignment. They had there mask off in the shop which I felt fine about. So my mask was half on and the manager asked me to put my mask on while they didn’t have mask on. Also after two hours. It was still off. It still pulls to the right. And when I got home my hood wasn’t closed. I’m glad it caught the latch.

Trying to scam people when nothing is wrong with your vehicle. Failed my state inspection for wiper blades when they are good and power steering leak when there is no leak. Tried telling me I had all these other problems with my vehicle but those things didnt fail the inspection. Watch them trying to scam a customer in front of my for alot of money when you can do what they were saying yourself for under a $100 dollars.

I had low air pressure on all my tires from this recent snow storm! I barely pulled up to the shop, and Jacob approached me kindly and informed me they were about to close. However, after informing him I only needed air, he said is that it! Come on I got you! What a generous act he performed. I definitely appreciated it. He was very professional in making the business look good!

I went to get the oil changed and a state inspection done. Oil change was done. They said they would not pass my vehicles inspection because I needed a new rack and pinion steering job. The vehicle was making absolutely no noise...steering perfectly, but there was a crack in the rubber boot on one side. This is not something that is required for state inspection in the state of Texas. They stated I would not be able to get it inspected unless I paid almost $1800 for the job. Went down the street and got it inspected 5 minutes later with not a word about it. Of course I did not pay them for the job. When I stated there was no way I was going to do that they started saying that I could buy the parts and they would only charge me labor. Truly believe they were trying to scam me.

Your time and money would be better somewhere else. Dishonest and unprofessional. They try to get you to make unnecessary repairs and overcharges for them. Definitely a scam shop.

Went to this location this morning to get my vehicle inspected. Thet had a sign out front that said 30 minutes or less. Waited 30 minutes and they hadnt pulled my car in. The inspector was goofing off with the other techs and eating his breakfast. Very unprofessional and unsanitary. When I asked for my keys, the manager said he was fixing to pull my vehicle in, but the tech still had the hood open on the car he was working on. I dont recommend this place. There is no sense of urgency and professionalism.

Worst experience ever, will never return. They tried to up sell me on really poor quality tires for almost double the cost of NTB. They are very unprofessional when questioned about their overpriced services. Be CAREFULL, these snakes deserve ZERO stars.

This car shop is full of BS! I went to get an oil change from roadrunner this weekend on March 20th. Prior to getting this oil change, my car was driving fine. There was nothing wrong with it. After they did my oil change I did not drive my car until Monday (today, March 22nd). My car is driving abnormal. Every time I try to drive my car past 30 MPH, it starts shaking uncontrollably. This WAS NOT HAPPENING BEFORE THEY DID THE OIL CHANGE. I cant help but wonder if they did something to my car to get money because now they are telling me that I need to pay 1,200 to fix the problem. I will NEVER come back to this location. When I asked the guy why wasnt my car doing this before, he told me thats just how cars are. Nothing but BS. What ever they did to my car is making it drive funny and they will NOT be the ones to fix it. I will definitely take my money else where!

I never have issues with any services from Roadrunner Lube I have been using them for the past 7 years my last visit was August 12, 2021 for state inspection My son uses them as well and said he never thought he would trust another auto repair shop until I told him about Roadrunner Lube he lets his wife go there because they don’t sell her things she doesn’t need

Went in for inspection. Inspection was done just fine and I passed. But I was told I needed 4 new tires and he tried to sell them and an alignment. I looked at my tires and found normal wear.

Clean and professional environment. The guy who takes care of you in the office is awesome. Very friendly and helpful.

BEWARE!!!If you go to this Road Runner to get a vehicle inspection, they will check your vehicle until they come up with a reason to fail it and still charge you the $25.00. Then they highly recommend that they service the repairs to get your car to pass.

Took my fj cruiser for a diagnosis and and they came with a outrageous price to get what they said I needed to get fixed, I took my fj cruiser to a Toyota dealer for a 2nd opinion and they told me it was nothing wrong with my fj .. These people are trying to get your money for nothing. Do not trust these people. I will call BBB and report them.

Looking for a dependable car shop around my area. Called to ask about a state inspection. Caught unnecessary attitude. Probably saved me further heart ache by catching this early. Or maybe the person was having an off day and I was unlucky. May be a good shop. But I spend my hard earned money where its appreciated. And it seemed like a better decision to go where I was treated fair right of the bat. Just thought I would put this review. But like I said you might have better luck.

Went in for Texas state vehicle inspection having no idea what it was. Everything thing was explained and completed in a timely manner. Friendly staff too!

The front desk person was very professional and courteous very helpful

No option to give negative stars. Waited more than 45 minutes for inspection when their sign advertises 30 or less. Then was told car didnt pass because of window tint being too dark. The tint is factory, 2014 model and has never been too dark before. Every other person getting inspection was told the same about tint being too dark.

They took care of my flat tire and I was told that I needed to change all four, so I didI trusted there input !! I job welldone :)

I never have anything bad to say about this company I think this might be my second review for them and today was just a general maintenance I had an oil change. A couple of months ago they completely replaced my engine in my car and honestly I am super grateful for them they are always friendly always super helpful and funny and I enjoyed being there waiting on my car which I honestly hate waiting for anything but they make it a pleasant experience. big thank you to Dalton for helping me today and giving me a lot of useful and good advice and information.

Very pleasant experience other than the length of time to perform the service, wouldn’t complain had I not been told 45 minutes to an hour to complete it. They got my car in quickly but then sat and waited more than an hour and a half. Then to pay substantially more than I normally pay at the dealership for the same thing (synthetic oil change) really surprised me. You think these places are less than the dealership but their not, by a long shot. I really hate to leave anyone a bad review, my experience was not bad! They are very nice and professional and I would recommend if you are not on any kind of time constraint and don’t mind paying more for the convenience of not having to drive to the dealership......

My friend in highschool used to own this shop, but he passed away due to a jeep accident. My wife went in for an inspection today... Dont go here. All I am going to say. I dont believe this shop is as honest as when Chris Northcutt owned it. Rack and Pinyon, they say..... Wont be coming back so dont bother to reach out. Couldnt even giver her a fill up of power steering fluid before she left either.. She was half a bottle low.. those bottles arent very big. See what happens. Going to get a second opinion, but to fail inspection... OK.

I’m so happy with their service. I have an 04 suburban that needed some oil leaks repaired. Not gonna lie, it was a little expensive, but Not more than I expected. And after all the time they put into it, I am so grateful!! My Burban had several old leaks not just one, and James and Tommy made sure over the course of a few trials, that they got every leak taken care of. The engine is strong and I’m hoping to get more mileage out of it at least another 100k. Super happy with how these guys worked with me and I’d recommend them to anyone. Thank you!

Came in for an oil change and tire rotation. Upon further review I needed brakes. Guys were very easy to work with. Very laid back and not pushy when letting me know I needed more work than I originally intended. Glad I took it to them. Worth the extra work.

Mechanics were short handed but were going in circles working on multiple cars than focusing on one and finishing in order, waited 2 hours which felt as a disappointment when told 30mins, and then basically felt if I got scammed.

I took my car in to have its yearly inspection done which I do at this particular dealership because they get me in and out in a quick period of time theyre always very friendly and very thorough and very professional about how they do everything.

I went in for car inspection to get my vehicle registration. Upon arrival I was immediately contacted by a masked Tech who told me where to park and where to wait for Registration Car inspection. Waited 40 mins. TotalThere were 2 cars ahead of me (tech said takes 20 mins a car for inspections.Very polite management. Only 4 people allowed in the lobby. Big screen TV and coffee available. All staff & customer wore masks. Very well done and a pleasurable experience!

Roadrunner is always professional and does great work. Karissa at the front is awesome! We do have one complaint, this time: the tech left a lot of grease stains on the seat. My wife was not happy about that.

No need for an appointment, when it still takes 15 minutes to get your vehicle entered into the garage for service. Then, it took an additional hour to service vehicle for basic oil change. Thanks to social distancing outside, I was able to see my vehicle sit with the filter sitting on the engine bay for 20 minutes with NO attention given. When I entered the business, after walking to a nearby store for a cold beverage, I was given several illegitimate excuses for the unreasonable amount of time. 230-4p for an oil change. I’ll do it myself from now on. *Side-note: Please stop scamming uneducated young females into getting their brake lines flushed. I was able to witness this during my HOUR AND A HALF sauna waiting time.

They force the customer to buy from them before the inspection.I was there today and I was doing my state inspection then the employee told to buy the tire to be able to pass the inspection and then I refused to because I was planning on taking my car to the dealership to fix it.Then the guy told me I have the failed inspection or buy their tire to pass the inspection, and then I asked the manger and he was horrible,rude,inpatient, then I told him if he wasn’t rude I would pay the failed inspection but he had to have before hand.He didn’t listen ended up kicking out of the store for no reason.DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE.

Service was done on time and the review would be better but three bolts to my Air filter Box were snapped off and only one was still good and replaced.

I took my vehicle for an alignment and diagnosis, when they gave me the diagnosis I realized that I could not do the repair for the moment because of the cost of the repair, at the time they gave me the vehicle again the battery was completely discharged, the electric power steering was very hard it stopped working, I took the car to the TOYOTA, where they made me a more economical diagnosis and it was accurate the diagnosis that I had made ROAD RUNNER HAD BEEN WRONG AND THE POWER STEERING CONTROL MODULE DAMAGED, NO I RECOMMEND YOU CAREFULLY WHAT THEY DO TO YOUR VEHICLE THERE. If I could give it zero I would place it for the bad time and the bad experience that happens in that place

$107 for a Valvoline Synthetic Oil change! Parts over the counter are $28 Including the filter.I get a business has to make a profit but for a basic oil change on an 08. Sent my kid to get this done. I would have immediately told you NO! Lessons learned!First and last time that I’ll pay someone else to do that service.
