I took my car to be looked at. Thought it could be something with the radiator. Was called back and told it was the water pump and $180 to replace. When I informed them they were the same Garage that installed the water pump they said they would take care of it.Recieved a call saying the vehicle was fixed. I was then informed that it was $150 for work on my radiator. I was shocked because they never called and said there was a problem with the radiator just the water pump. They found a new problem to charge me money since they were fixing something for free. Go somewhere else!

I brought my car to Don Perry’s after having it serviced at my local Honda dealership. My Honda dealership was recommending additional work and I wanted a second opinion in addition to a second estimate for the work as Honda quoted me nearly $2000. Don Perry’s took a look and told me that my car didn’t need everything that Honda recommended. The mechanic told me that dealerships sometime use “scare tactics” to get you to spend more with them and that he much rather his customers “keep money in their pockets”. I went ahead and had DP perform two of the items that were recommended and paid 50% less than what I would have at Honda. The customer service, honesty, and quality work will keep me coming back for all of my auto needs!

These folks are the BEST, hands down. I cant recommend them enough. I have been using this auto repair shop for years and have brought 3-4 vehicles I have owned here for service. They are honest, fair, and do great work. They dont overcharge you or perform services that dont need to be done like some other mechanics (especially for female customers). Once, my car was making a weird sound and they found out it was caused by some minor issue - they fixed it with a simple zip tie and didnt charge me a thing! They even cleaned up a scratch on my drivers side door and made it look way better! They go above and beyond every time.

These folks are the best! The shop is spotless, Ray and Charlie are friendly and professional. I have now had 2 pretty major repair/maintenance items done at the shop and I could not be happier. On those 2 repairs alone they have saved me over $700 and provided outstanding work and a great customer experience. Ray and his team cant be beat!

Weve been having our cars repaired here for years. Good work and good staff. When there isnt a global plague going on they have customer transport but that is not offered because its not safe right now.

Car was in the shop for a month but I understood it was because of the Corona Virus and the owner is a nice guy. But the kicker is they charged me 1200 dollars and my A/C still isnt working the way it should. They told me to pick up my car but took the car back and they told me the condenser was leaking. Pick the car up again A/C is still not working 😕 like it should when it gets hot outside. I just dont have a lot of time to keep taking my car back to this place. I do not recommend this place at all.

Tried to get over on me. Tried to charge me $163 for an ignition coil plus $93.60 labor. Also Tried to charge $45 for a 4m kit (no such thing as a 4m kit by the way) plus $62 bucks in labor for a mad up part. Stay away.

We were traveling to west Texas, ran over object on I-20. Found garage 3 blocks from where we stopped. Fuel pipe had to be replaced.They treated us great and very fair. I dont think I have ever written a google review, but I just wanted to jump in and say that I love Don Perrys Garage and that I highly recommend them.My family has been using them for the last 20 or so years, and I truly only have good things to say about them.They have great customer service, they are very competitively priced, and they gone above and beyond when it has come to taking care of my past vehicles and those of my parents.

Took my car to have a leak checked. Thought it was probably antifreeze. $515.00 later they replaced the entire radiator. One day home, and its still leaking. Took it back and their reasoning was, we sometimes get bad parts. My question is, if its still leaking, maybe I just needed a hose or a gasket or fitting replaced, not the entire radiator. Waiting to pick it up again. Will update with the results. Not looking good right now. Very disappointed.Picked up my car. One day later, taking it back, still leaking. This is the THIRD time they have worked on this radiator leak. Its just not that hard folks. I cant keep doing without a car.UPDATE: Call from Don Perry, they need another $550.00 to replace hoses from my radiator. Needless to say, I picked up my car. It still leaks, and Im out $515.00. Need I say more. BEWARE!

My entire family has been using Don Perrys for at least the last 16 years and they have ALWAYS treated us honestly, fairly and like family. They are always competitively priced and more times than not they beat others prices.I moved to Houston a year and a half ago and I still make the 4 hour drive any time I need work done. They are truly wonderful people as well as being the best all around garage in town!

I went in for an oil change and they were very courteous, they gave me a detailed receipt which I appreciate, and had me out the door in under half an hour!

I took my mothers car up here and she was charged 700 bucks for her rear struts, because of the noise in the back caused by worn struts. After getting the car back we still heard noise from the rear end. So we brought the car back and they siad they put it on backwards. So they fixed the issue. Drove it up the street and back again. They told me they dont know whats wrong and to go to the dealership to get a diagnosis on it. We did that and they said it was bad struts. So honestly we didnt want to go back to perrys. They lost a good customer. But ever since then ive been telling people not to go here cuz of what happened to my mother. I feel as tho they cheated her out of money. I Do Not recommend this place at all.

The staff was wonderful! They were helpful and fast and charged half the amount that meineke was going to. Not only were the staff wonderful but they also made sure to use paper floor mats when they were in my car to ensure nothing was tracked in, something that every mechanic is taught to do but none Ive ever been to actually take the time to do it. One last thing and to me, the most amazing, they WASHED my car! It was sparkling! I was completely floored and I will certainly be going back and recommending them to all my friends!!

I won’t go into all the details, but I’ve been without my car for almost a month now, after taking it in for a fairly routine ac repair. They broke my radiator in the process, which they admitted and replaced, but left a trans cooler line loose so the day after I picked it up it had to be towed back in and now they are replacing the transmission. I am still without my car, which is my only source of income, and they are in no hurry whatsoever. Incredibly disappointed.

I brought my car thinking that there was a major problem with it. After checking, it was discovered that it only had a rock that was lodged into the engine. Dont ask me how it got there, but they found it. The mechanics removed it without extra charge for me, which was very helpful as a student. I only had to pay for towing and they even refused to accept a tip. Very honest and professional people, and I will definitely recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

They work in a timely manner, tell you exactly whats wrong instead of the trial and error approach, provide you with quality parts, take you right to the point professionally and without going around. This is a busy garage because they do good work. I took my car in because the check engine light was on. Even though they were busy they took the time to check out the situation and even fixed me up in a matter of minutes! Simple problem with a simple solution, but they really delivered with customer service.

Was told my car would be done but no call. Go up there and business is closed till Monday. I told them I didnt like leaving it up there overnight. Well they got me for two nights instead.

They were so helpful!! I crashed my car and brought it to them first. They were honest about their inability to fix it because it was seriously damaged. It turns out it was totaled anyway. Then when I was going to purchase a used car they looked at it and gave me some great advice about the cars actual value and expected maintenance for free!!

I own a 1998 Nissan Sentra, and Don Perrys Garage is on of the reasons that I have had that car for this long. They fixed my car always in a timely manner, from oil change to clutch work. They have always given me a fair and competitive price for the work that they performed. They have a clean and orderly shop and always when i pick up my car it is clean and with a fresh car wash no matter what service i have had done. The only downside is that they dont work on German cars and i am looking to buying a Volkswagon. But i have recommended this shop to all of my friends and they have had similar experiences.

I do not recommend this place. I took my car after a friend recommended it. Initially they agree to do the work, one week later they had done nothing because apparently they couldnt find the parts so they sent my car to another garage without letting me know. A month after I finally got my car back but w/o the license plates, Ive been calling multiple times both garages and they keep blaming each other for losing the plates. Now I have to report the plates as missing/stolen and I need to get new ones. The staff was so rude over the phone, took forever, and now they dont want to take responsibility of their mistake. Its been over a month of stress, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place at all
