Ive been living here for two week, yep two weeks....and I couldnt be happier. The amenities, and staff have made going from a house to an apartment an easy transition. We sold our home and are building a house and needed an apartment until our house is complete. Shelby at Northside was the best decision weve ever made. Location, view and staff are truly what makes this place awesome!

Staff in the leasing office are nice. The pool is wonderful. My dog loves going to the dog park. The location is convenient for driving all over Fort Worth.

Edit: Ive been here for a little over a month now and my previous review stills stands. I just wanted to add that the Shelby recently hired a new employee, Eric, who couldnt do a better job (though he would beg to differ). True enough, hes new, so that means theres technical, industry-specific things hell need to learn. However, what he came in already knowing is something thats much more difficult to learn: people and relationships. From the very first day I met him, despite his stress and overwhelm, he made interacting with me a clear priority and has always remained consistent. As happy as I was with Allison and Eddy, Im surprised to realize that Eric was a piece that was missing. I sure hope he stays for a while.I have recently secured a new position that has pulled me out of poverty. Before this, I had to live places I could more easily afford and, unfortunately, I had to make major sacrifices in quality of life. One thing I told myself was that when I moved, wherever that happened to be, I HAD to move somewhere that had excellent customer service. And let me tell you, besides the beauty of the property itself, it was Allison, Eddy, and Morgan who really won me over. I could live anywhere I wanted to now and toured several other properties just in case, but I kept coming back to the Shelby because thats where my heart was. The energy was right and I do ultimately feel that I made the right decision. My move-in date is rapidly approaching and I cant wait to call The Shelby at Northside my new home!

Eduardo is amazing ever since he moved us in experience with him has been A1!! He deserves a raise if you ever need something done or handled best believe he will always follow through! (:

Allison was so helpful and wonderful through the entire process of finding the right apartment for our needs. The place is nice and clean and we love the big pool. The staff in the office always greets us with a smile when we walk in which is such a change from the last complex where we lived. It really makes all the difference to deal with great people. We are so thankful to have found this place.

Great friendly service from the staff. Great location, Great amenities can’t go wrong with the free Starbucks and top of the line gym equipment. Ask for Allison she assisted me with my transition to Shelby she is great!

Visited the property recently and we fell in love. We aren’t looking to move our family member until August but this place is number one on their list. Beautiful interiors, great location and the staff went above & beyond to show my husband and I around. They were all so friendly to us.

Beautiful complex, and great customer service. I toured a week ago and everyone in the office was super friendly. The property manager Morgan also introduced herself to me, and was very helpful.

Absolutely love this place! my best friend & i just recently signed our lease here & we couldn’t be happier! the staff are all super helpful & on top of their game which makes any living space better! the view is beautiful no matter where you’re at & everything is all around perfect!

I personally do not enjoy living here ! I feel that it’s over priced for poor quality apartments. My first year here, I’ll be honest and say that i didn’t take the best care of the apartment, but walking through the door it was already issues. There was a dip in the floor, and the laminate floor started to peel up. They were more concerned about moving people in than making sure it’s properly fixed up. You pay for literally every little thing, but if I’m already paying 1200 in rent some things should already be included. They don’t adhere to previous agreements, so if you come in and they are offering discounts so be ready to pay more if you decide to renew your lease. It’s not much communication about amenities, but hey that doesn’t matter because they don’t trust you too use them after hours ! It sucks because of complaints about noise so you can’t have fun. All around what you see on the outside is not necessarily what you get when you are here. I’ll be excited to end this second lease and find me somewhere else better for cheaper !!!! What you pay for a studio YOU CAN FIND IN A BETTER AREA NEAR MORE STUFF FOR THE SAME PRICE !

I moved to the Shelby at Northside (formerly The View of Fort Worth) back in July of 2019. Since American Landmark took over a few months ago, they have made several improvements to what was an already great apartment complex. They have really taken the time to keep the property looking great 24/7. The pool is cleaned by a machine multiple times a week, there is a custodian that constantly sanitizes the common areas, and landscaping is done routinely. Every Monday we have a food truck stop by and management spoils us with events like waffles and mimosas. This has really helped our community grow and get to know each other better. It’s rare that I see a resident I have not had a conversation with, and we all look out for each other.One of the main reasons I moved here was the location. The apartments are right off i35 so you have easy access to different spots in Fort Worth. The Stockyards and West 7th street are each less than 10 minutes away which is a life saver when having to get an Uber on the weekend.The complex has gates they require a key fob to open and there is a Fort Worth Police officer living onsite so things are secure. The inside of the apartments are really nice and the finishes are top notch. I have been in just about every floor plan and even the studios are super spacious. The clubhouse has multiple TVs, games, and places to do work which is awesome. The gym has a good variety of machines and a yoga area so you can get a full body workout in 7 days a week.I originally had moved to Fort Worth for a short-term job that has since gone remote. Truth be told, I love living here so much I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon!

Beautiful place, I loved the studio layout and all that the place has to offer. The office staff from the manager to the leasing people were very kind and helpful. Not looking to move just yet, but this place is for sure number one on my list.

This place blew me away from the word go. The ambiance, decor, beautiful views and the warm welcome was so inviting. Eduardo is truly a leasing professional at heart. His demeanor and well dressed appearance says a lot about him. He made us feel right at home and ANSWERED every question without saying, Ill get back to you . Im definitely making this place my next home. Thank you guys so much!!!

Apparently American Landmark is the new management group here and I have to say that they are great. The leasing agent Eddie took us to several units until we found the one we were looking for! My girlfriend and I are extremely excited to have found such a brand new affordable apartment super close to our favorite places in Fort Worth. We have a beautiful view of the city from our apartment. All of the staff including the managers made me feel welcome every time my girlfriend and I came in to the office. With such affordable rent and CRAZY GOOD move in specials I dont think youll find another place this great in Downtown Fort Worth.

Looks Are Deceiving...Be aware, most of the good reviews are made because management bargain with the tenants; instead of receiving violations or to stay in good standing with the team, they want you to write a good review.Questions to ask: What happens if we lose power, how do we gain entry into the apartments? How do we obtain entry thru the front doors? The stairs? The elevator? Why are there locks on the amenities if we all pay an amenity fee? Is the fee optional or not, and if I choose to opt out of using the amenities, will my fob/access be denied? Why is there a $50 fee for a spare fob? Usually spares are free and an individual pay for additional fobs. Theres a spare key for the mailbox, the app is the spare entry for your apartment. The butterfly app is the spare for the gate and front door? Yet to receive a spare to access the elevator its $50? Why do we pay a fee for the lockers when most carriers stack packages outside the lockers instead of using the lockers. Why do pet owners allow their dogs to go in the elevators, on the carpet in the hallways, or outside and do not clean up behind their pets? Whats the turn around time in regards to emails answered? 24hrs, 2 weeks, or Never? Before sending out emails regarding late payments or overdue balances do management check the tenants ledger to ensure all charges are correct and valid? What is the crime rate over here? How many vehicles been stolen, broken into or vandalized here?Just a couple questions to ask cause theres plenty more!When its all said and done, communication is key and you WILL NOT receive that here. They are doing all types of upgrades which in actuality, is a downgrade. From the kitchen lights to the prematurely installed smart locks w/fobs.

Regret moving here. i was lied to upon signing my lease about having private access to the trinity trails which was a huge part of why i moved here.

Went in to see if this would be a good fit for me. On 2 separate occasions I was ignored by the ladies at the front desk. 🤷‍♂️

The staff could care less about your needs. I have lived here for over 6 weeks now and I cant even get a valet trash can so I can put my trash out, yet Im paying for the service. I have called several times and they dont care. Not surprised after the move in experience I had.

The Shelby, formally known as The View is best described as a rundown shack, with some paint slapped on the outside and an extremely overpriced rent payment smacked on the front. I was optimistic that with a new owner/management, things would improve. Yet, as prices go up, the quality of The Shelby dwindles. I moved in because I liked the sleek look, then just today, I get home to the light fixtures swapped out for cheap/poorly lit lights. I didnt sign up for this and dont think anyone else should. Beware.

Great property, love it here. Feel safe and generally clean. We are 63 days from our move out date, no renewal contract, no written notice, nothing. I called 4 times, went to the office, and I will be heading to corporate today. Greystar did good at an old apartment we lived at, but they are doing very poor here. I would recommend everyone stay way until they get this fixed. Oh, 2 months since they took over and no online payment available.

If I could give zero stars I would. Management does not communicate, they enter our apartment without notice or knocking and then do construction in our apartment without notice or consent. We have not gotten our mail in the last 2 months because management will not put in the work order to fix the postage key slot. They never answer their phones and if they do they do not have a clear answer. This is way too expensive for this kind of service! Not worth the money.

Been here for a couple of months, this location has had new management twice. The parking is a huge issue. Complaints about noisy neighbors aren’t handled & lastly they just did an update to apartment lights which now ruin the whole vibe of the inside apartment. They’ve honestly ruined the luxury factor. Hopefully they don’t change anything else and can fix the parking issue.

Beautiful community! Toured this community with my clients and we were very impressed. Gorgeous view of the Trinity and direct view of Fort Worth skyline. Minutes from downtown without the downtown traffic. Beautiful finish out and the amenities are AMAZING! You have to see the pool and the fitness center for yourself. Very helpful staff as well.

Just moved in and I am very happy with this complex and the amenities. Eddy and Allison helped me throughout the process. Five outta five!

Probably one of the best views of Fort Worth ever, amazing pool, friendly staff, and their studio unit is everything I could ever need. 10/10

Eduardo, leasing consultant is very unprofessional. The maintenance never vacuums either.

So we liked what we saw on The View of Fort Worths website. We did the virtual visit and everything looked great until we attempted to reach them. We called their sales team on Friday 7/24 and they took my information and said I would receive an email from the property to arrange a virtual tour. Since I had not heard back from them by Monday afternoon, I called the sales team once more and was given a phone number for the on site team. No one answered the phone so I left a detailed message. No response. On Tuesday I called once more and left another detailed message which was never answered. On Wednesday after calling once more and leaving a third message, we went online and completed the application since we needed to move in this Friday for a job that starts on Monday. The application asked for the move-in date which we listed as 7-30. Fees were paid and an automated email was received stating the application would be reviewed. Having not heard once more from the property I called once more to no avail. I then called the sales team where I was told they would only be able to send a message to the property since they were based in California but they should respond within 24 to 48 hours. This afternoon, we received an email from someone on site inviting us to look at the property and to see what was available. It was apparent they were unaware of the submitted application. We called the individual back, and were told it takes them up to 48 hours to review the application and then it would take an additional 3 business days to prepare the apartment for occupancy, so it would not be ready until next Wednesday, August 5th, even though the website says Move in Today and lists the available units.So now we are left scrambling to find another apartment, and are out the application fee of $250 which they claim is non-refundable.****Update 8/03****I received a called from the leasing agent apologizing for what happened and informed me they would be reimbursing the fees paid.

Kennedy was the nicest person from my first point of contact with The View of Fort Worth which was a huge factor in my overall decision of where I was going to live. The apartment layout and cost were the other huge factors in my decision. I am very happy with my choice and love living here!

I absolutely all of my neighbors, definitely a family vibe. I absolutely get what I pay for! Leasing agents are super cool and fun, plus management is very down-to-earth! I never have issues with my apartment and I have nothing to complain about. I can see myself here long-term. Very safe and secure with security on the grounds. I love you Janessa & Patrick, you beautiful souls‼️ 🖤🖤

Out of all the apartments I’ve lived in these are absolutely the BEST! My neighbors are great and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Wine down Wednesday’s are a highlight of my week and I love the free Starbucks station in the morning when I’m running late for work!

The View of Fort Worth is STUNNING! Kennedy was outstanding on our tour and really went out of his way to ensure our safety with COVID-19 and also delivering outstanding customer service. I cannot wait to move in!

In love with the layouts of my spacious apartment. Counter tops and cabinets are so my style, with everything so up to date. Love that my neighbors are friendly and the staff is over helpful! Can’t wait to see what the years brings in this awesome space.

I’ve lived in multiple apartments in Fort Worth, but NOTHING comes close to The View. From the welcoming feeling when you walk in, the sparkling clean amenities, and the beautiful view of downtown Fort Worth this place is absolutely amazing! Cannot wait to move in & call this place home! Janessa is terrific at her job & has made this process seamless.

Great experience with the leasing staff. There’s a really great community feeling in their complex. I happened to be there the day they were having a resident activity. Pretty cool.

How is it state of the art, when all the door handles, shower fixtures and toilet are just standard. Doesn’t seem like an appropriate use of the over charges.

Dont move here look for something else! Very poorly managed!
