GAWD AWFUL customer service!I have used Ameritech for almost 10 years at multiple properties, and as of today, will never use them again. We have had a recurring carpenter ant issue at our primary residence, which is not even the biggest grievance I have with Ameritech. After multiple attempts to treat the carpenter ants, I asked for another solution than re-treating. The call center called a supervisor who had a full schedule but was promised to meet us Monday afternoon. They could not promise a time due to his busy schedule, so my husband took the afternoon off and waited for his call. He called Monday afternoon to say he could not come until Thursday or Friday. Slightly annoying, but we set a time for Friday at 9:00. Friday morning, no show from the supervisor. He did not answer his phone when I called or when his office called him. At 9:30, he finally calls me back to tell me I am not on his schedule today. The same “supervisor” who scheduled an appointment with me. In fact, he is not even in my area because I am not on his route. I call the office to lodge a complaint, and the office supervisor tells me that it is in fact that “senior field supervisor” I need to take it up with. No thanks, Rick! There is no need for me to waste any more words on a supervisor who cannot even supervise himself.Two no shows, and apathetic supervisors? No thank you, Ameritech. You have lost our business.

They usually arrive on time or a little early. Very courteous, wearing masks and shoe coverings. They stand behind their work... and come back out as needed.

I had a flea infestation at my small house and the first guy was really good however I still had fleas. That’s where their service went downhill. They did a follow up but their guy was late and when I went to the store for 15 minutes he said “all done here.” Pretty sure he was just trying to cut for lost time. The last guy was someone who had worked their for years. Came on a RAINY day! I said but the problem is outside and then they slowly make their way inside. “Oh we can’t treat it when it’s raining.” This was RIDICULOUS! Never using them again.

I have been using Ameritech for a little while now. I pay for their premium plan, which I’ve only really needed once. They continue to take my money but I don’t get anyone trying to schedule a bug spray. The only time I’ve gotten a call from them is when my card declined, and they called me about 6 times over a two day span. With as much as I pay for the technicians to come and speed through their job, you’d think I’d at least get a courtesy call every quarter. It’s ridiculous.

The technicians are courteous, friendly, and responsive to our needs. The secretary schedules the service and they arrive on time even when it rains!!! Thank you for your help in caring for our home!!!

We had someone come do a general spray and everything went smoothly. However, we still had a problem with ants a few weeks later and called them to set up an appointment to come take a look at the ant problem. I wasnt able to get an appointment until a week later, which I understand. I had a reminder call the day before they were to come out and was told that they would be at my house at a time that I had not scheduled. The time did not work as I would not be at my home. They even admitted that it was their fault in scheduling, only to backtrack and say that multiple scenarios could have caused the error. But instead of trying to get me in sooner because of their mistake, they told me I would have to wait until their next appointment which was three days away. I told them that I was going to go with someone else and they said okay and told me bye. Clearly they dont care to keep customers within their business.

I chose Ameri-Tech for spraying for termites because their technician said it came with a 10 year warranty. After the treatment took place the technician said I would receive a contract that would cost roughly $200 per year and that they would come out and inspect the property to see if the termites had returned if so they would retreat. After about a month of not seeing a contract I call and inquired about it and one was emailed over shortly. When I received it I noticed that is said two year warranty and not 10. When I called and ask about I was told that they would check into it and get back with me of course no one ever did. I emailed asking for the owner to please give me a call so we could get this resolved. As of this posting I have still heard nothing. I would not recommend them at all.

I received several quotes from big name pest control companies in the Fort Worth TX area near my home Ameri-Tech Pest Control was the lowest and the bugs are all gone!

I hired Ameritech to come out today to treat my home for ants. The technician who came out, Stetson Ralmuto, was very courteous and professional. He answered all questions to my satisfaction. This young man is a great example of someone who provides quality customer service. I am giving customer service, responsiveness, and punctuality a 5 star rating. I will rate the quality and value once I see the results of the treatment. Thanks for sending Stetson to fulfill my service request.

Weve been using this company for years. We do the quarterly spraying & have never had any bugs. They call to remind us & easily work around our schedule.

I got my house sprayed by them and did the ultimate package. Not only do I still have bugs, but they are worse than before they came out to spray. I called them a week or 2 after the spray and they said I had to wait until the 15th. I decided that I am better off having a known pest man that actually does a good job. Wont ever use them again.

I used this company on April 1st.We still experienced bugs and ants in our home in May so I scheduled an appointment. Due to my business travel and kids schedule we had to cancel the appointment and couldnt reschedule it. My warranty ( 3 months) expires on 1st July. They want to charge me $25 trip charge to come and fix the issue even its under warranty and I notified them before. The lady manager was rude and directly started saying its my fault. I will never use this company again.

I recently had Ameritech come out to spray my home and when I looked at my security cameras, I noticed that the technician didnt spray the base of my porch. He sprayed my porch furniture and my brand new welcome sign that I placed on top of a bench to get it out of his way! Ive called and emailed them to reconcile, but I have not received a return call.

Normally I dont leave bad reviews because, hey, sometimes stuff happens but this is completely unacceptable. Have done business with this company over years but last week they were supposed to show for service and did not. Called and was told they had scheduled the incorrect date. Okay, it happens. No big deal. So the actual date comes around, even confirmed appt a couple days before. No call no show. Call company again...the lady was completely unapologetic, rude and unhelpful to fix the situation. Just told me they cant help if a technician doesnt show up... Really? Yeah, you can. Get better quality employees. I dont expect someone to move mountains but I do expect someone to be where they said they would be on time. I also expect a little bit of courtesy when I call them out on this failure of service. Seriously, its not like I dont have something else to do other than wait for when your tech feels like they want to show up for work. Even if there was a legitimate reason, telling the customer essentially not my problem, isnt how to do business. Guess my account and spending with Ameritech isnt really needed or wanted. So I will take my business elsewhere...even if it costs more. I rather pay extra for quality and integrity than save a buck by being treated as my business is a inconvenience.

These guys have always been great to work with, and I know they do an excellent job.

Used them for over a year since we moved into our new home. They come out quarterly, and treat for everything. They even include fireant mounds within 10ft from the house so that was awesome! They techs always put on covers for their shoes, and are quick, polite, and quite. They do call you for reminders when its nearing time to respray so be prepared for some calls, but thats how youd expect to keep repeat business I suppose. No complaints, and Id recommend them.

When the guy came out he did a VERY thorough spray of the outside, treated the attic and dusted cracks around the house!

I have been using Ameritech Pest Control for 7 years for ants, they are literally half the price of the big name pest control. They spray the house and yard for $49 the big name brands wanted $99 and $130 for the exact same job. When I moved into the house there was a big name company that was already spraying and they wanted $130 to keep the service going. Very happy and no bugs!

The receptionist that answers the phone, Marla, is so rude. I’ve been with Ameritech for several months and I dread calling into this company every time. With so many people that need jobs, I’m not sure why Ameritech has chosen her to be customer and front facing.My service technician is great, always professional, and always on time. He provides me with information and best practices during each visit. I recommend this company if you can get over the rude receptionist.

Very disappointed. I had my service done 30 days ago but still see ants on my yard. The lady at the office said that I was 3 days passed when I had my service. I understand, but being on customer service as well we cover our customers warranty even if is past a few days passed. It’s what you do keep your customers happy.

The people that answer the phone are super rude. I have been a customer with this company for over 10 years and I will no longer use them because of their rudeness. The techs that come to the house are very nice and respectable. The ladies that answer the phone had been rude and multiple occasions and I will no longer use this company because of that reason.

Weve used Ameri-Tech for 22 years, ever since moving to Texas. When we moved to our new house we continued our service and added termite treatment to our contract. The technicians are knowledgeable, always pleasant, and have a professional appearance. In the few instances that we had a pest problem (sugar ants and later carpenter ants), the treatment they recommended was immediately successful. Were happy customers!

My husband is posting this review. I called this worthless company on July 30, 2018. Left a message requesting they call me back for a home inspection of pests. As of today 8/6 /18. No one has returned my call. If they will not even return a phone call what makes anyone think they do a good job killing pests. It appears their 1 star ratings are increasing.I called another company and they answered their phone and completed the inspection at my home.

Really satisfied with the work that was performed by our technician, Bill. Not only did he show up early and on-time, Bill did a thorough work around our property. Bill was great at answering questions. He was fast and efficient, but did not take any shortcut. Highly recommend this company and especially ask for Bill when you call in for the service.

I have used Ameri-Tech for about 5 years and have found them to always be prompt, efficient and courteous. All of the technicians who have come to my house have been on time and know their business.In the Fall of 2015, I had a rat issue in my garage attic that was discovered by Scott (my most preferred technician) and through recommendations and treatment the issue was resolved by late summer. Our neighborhood had an infestation, but I have been rat free.I would not consider changing companies. They are also very reasonable.

The techs are always polite and courteous, and they are almost always early! I appreciate contractors who show up when they say. Their prices are affordable, and their products get the job done. Ive been using them for several years and will continue.

Service packages are much too high in comparison to other services! We used to get a package but no discounts for seniors and no specials. Other services offer discounts for seniors and have specials from time to time.

The technician is always very professional and friendly. They always do a great job and we have no bugs before they come back. Can always call them back if we need but very rarely do we need to do this. They always call before they come. Very pleased with America-Tech.

But we still had a problem with infestation.. so we tried to schedule them to come back out.. they dont seem to care about their customers once you have paid (not the techs) the phone service staff or secretarys or whoever... Best price for exterminating around the DFW! The customer service is always friendly along with the exterminators. Plus, the general spray is very strong and lasts pretty long. Highly recommend!

Had a rent house treated for bugs including an underdusting. Paid them. they came out and did treatment. over next 10 days noticed alot of the bugs were not really going away. Today called, and it was explained to me that those were german roaches or some such thing. that was a different treatment. Why did you not let me know that while on site, or at anytime between then and now, that those required a different treatment? No real acceptance of responsibility, asked for someone higher to call- there really is nobody higherEffectively- we need to pay them, and they will come out- or not. I have 4 houses that i have used Ameritech for for years.But based on this bad experience- i am all done. I recommend avoiding them. No sense of owning the issue, and no real caring when i said i was going to take business for 4 houses somewhere else. Save time- go somewhere else.

They have rescheduled an appointment to spray my house twice now after I found a live scorpion in my house over 2 weeks ago. This scorpion was found after they had already sprayed my house not even a month before. Not impressed with their customer service or reliability at all. Do not waste your time with Ameritech unless you are in no hurry to get your pest problem resolved.

I have been using Ameritech for years. I had only one issue with a spray in all those years, but Ameritech sent another technician asap and made it right. I only see dead bugs in my home and that is only after a spray. Highly recommend! Also - they employ cool techs that make you feel at ease while in your home.

Since I posted, I have received calls and follow up from Ameri-Tech, including from the owner to follow up on my prior post and what drove the issue.A different technician came out and treated the house about a month ago. No issues with bugs since that treatment. I have gone from being a dissatisfied customer to being a very happy customer again.What I have learned about Ameri-Tech is that if you have an issue, reach out to them and continue to follow up in a courteous manner. They do care and will follow up to ensure you are a satisfied customer.Glad to re-post and share this update.We have been using them since the ‘90’s. Service has gone downhill. We used to have a tech service our old house and never had a call back after his work. I don’t think he has been with the company in a couple years.Since he left, the service contract we have is not being fulfilled. The one and only visit that was done was never fully completed. Messages are not being returned from days ago.I downgraded my contract with them due to the service declines and wish I never renewed. The only reason the received one star is because the ratings wouldn’t allow me to give them zero stars.

Ameri-Tech has been my exterminator for almost 20 years and Ive always received reasonably priced service from friendly, trustworthy technicians. They will come out and remove dead rats (if necessary) and I think that is excellent service.

He had a horrible attitude and did a very poor job.

My experience with this company has been a big nightmare! A HUGE disappointment to say the least. I cannot believe they have missed three appointments with the same excuse.....my driver had an accident. Either they need to find better drivers to do their jobs or they are not telling the truth. I have been inconvenienced in many ways and its customer service needs a lot of training. I have absolutely no trust in this business. The ant situation in the DFW area is crazy, Ameritech Pest Control spayed everywhere even up the walls and all around the property. Their service stopped the ants from coming inside. Thank you!

I called this company after a driver in one of their vehicles gave me the bird while driving down the highway on my way home from work. The vehicle had to of been going at least 90 on what was already 70+ mph highway, and Im not the only person he was gesturing at, for no apparat reason, as he wove in and out of traffic. The phone rang twice when I called and then a man answered. I can only assume by his demeanor and what I found online, that the man was the owner of this company. Regardless he was extremely rude when I asked if I had been connected to someone from the office or if this was an answering service. A legitimate question in my eyes considering it was just after 7 pm on a weeknight. He however did not seem to think my question was at all legitimate and ridiculed me twice for asking it. From there the conversation only went downhill to end with me being yelled at and then him hanging up on me. Based on this I can honestly say I will NEVER do business with this company and I hope this review will make sure others know the kind of people they would be hiring if they were considering them for their services.

Been a customer for many years not just at my home but at my fathers house and my office and the customer service had been horrible after having a problem with ants they came back out resprayed then that didn’t work so they came out again it between canceling on me which I’m a business owner I understand things come up the next week (which every time this would put me off for a week mind you I have fire ants all around my pool and dealing with them attacking you every time you go outside so that guy comes in never says anything and sprays really fast and leaves! So I call in again and they schedule me again and that guy comes out 30 minutes early I’m not home and says he’s scared of my dogs (labs) and so I tell him he’s 30 mins early and I have to leave work to get there they then tell me he can only wait 20 mins ummmmmm what’s wrong with this picture he’s early to an expected appointment and can’t wait till our appointment time?????? So they rescheduled me AGAIN and the week rolls around and they call and reschedule me the day of and at this point I’m very aggravated and starting to feel they are lying! I ask for a supervisor to call me and never received a call then was told the next day they were sending someone out but couldn’t give me a set time so I end up staying home the whole day waiting which I’m told a supervisor is coming out to do my yard this time ummmmmm NOT.So if I could give them no stars I would and this is after 10 plus years of using them and referring them 😕 word of mouth is a huge deal in business and they are lacking in customer service and reliability!!!!!!Stay away!!!!!!!!

I recently had a problem with carpenter ants and Herman Jefferson, the tech, was on top of it and took care of the problem. He went above and beyond. We are also on a package that they come out up to 6 times a year for problems and there has never been an issue. They are certainly my go to for pest control!

My problem is spiders. Ameri-Tech treats the property and they are not seen anymore.. If by some chance I do see some afterwards within 3 months they will come and retreat for no charge. They do call when the 3 month period time frame is up to schedule another treatment but that is really what you need since your neighbors may not treat their property and eventually those pesky spiders will migrate to your home again. Both on the phone and in person from technicians I have received nothing but professionalism and courtesy from them. Thank you for keeping those spiders out of my home for a reasonable price!!! Keep up the good work.

Well I had ordered service they told me 49 dollar to deal with the roaches and they would bait and gurabtgua it for 90 days the lady that came today said it just a general sprayshe would spray the inside and outside and no guarantee so I pretty much wasted that money on a pointless spray grr
