I love this company. They are very respectful, honoring, and professional. They are also honest. They came in after my a/c when out and believed that a control board was the problem. After testing it was some wiring in the inside of the house and they fixed it. They left and never charged me a dime for it. Side note it is worth the money I pay for the club membership. With that membership they come out twice a year to do maintenance and if some does happen its like half the cost. I love these guys.

Many years ago my heat quit. I found what I thought was wrong and changes a part. Still didn’t work. I called David. He came, located the problem, and fixed it. Cool BUT it was the way he fixed it. It was open when he arrived. We went to Home Depot and got the part, cheaper than him driving home to get the part. Lastly, he asked, if I wanted to close it up. Again cheaper. I’ve never forgotten.Another time, his company fixed a problem with my air conditioning. Price was reasonable air worked great. End of story? No! Weeks late I got a check for $10. They had mistakenly over charged me. How many companies would do that? David Thompson would! Great man, great family, great company!

I’m a small business owner who was seeking commercial HVAC services. Not needing emergency services, I called to schedule preventative maintenance and even set up a routine service with them as we head into the summer months in Texas. Confirmed appointment times, dates, etc.- no tech ever arrived. I waited to hear from the company for a reason why no one came to the appointment, still haven’t heard a thing and that was 9 days ago. In that 9 days, I’ve called three times and emailed as well. Come to find out they don’t answer the phones at the actual office- they have an answering service. I’m okay with that because the last business I owned used a similar service, BUT they’re not returning their calls or messages about a missed appointment.I’m sure they’re great at what they do, but no-showing and then not responding is unacceptable.1-star************Update 1 day after post. David, the owner reached out to profusely apologize and offer rescheduling for service and even a free tune-up. It means the world to even hear back at this point. While I won’t be a customer, the customer service response from the owner let me understand what happened and his commitment to his customers as the final answer is something he stands by and proves.4-stars

He squeezed me in his booked schedule because he knew my elderly Mother was living with me and she needed heat in the house during these colder days. Also, with the one year Labor guarantee still in effect, he didnt charge me for it.June 3, 2019David was very professional and friendly. He was certainly an expert when it came to A/C systems and Heat pumps. His book was very informative and helped me understand what to ask and what to research before commiting to a project. After replacing my system, he made sure everything was in order and he eventually found a small leak which he had fixed immediately. I will definitly call him again for tune-ups and repairs.

I have used David Thompson and his technicians at Thompsons Cooling & Heating for over ten years. About ten years ago a business I was operating had the air conditioner fail at an office off Hulen Street in Fort Worth. Thompsons responded - fixed the problem and kept it running. And they did all this quickly and at a reasonable price. We lived in a neighborhood off of Bryant Irvin in Fort Worth. Thompsons maintained our units with their twice a year service plan. And when it came time for new units they helped us get credits and installed a great unit. We now live in Aledo and Thompsons continues to provide great service. The builder had designed the house without enough cooling to the master bedroom. Thompsons installed expanded ducting to improve the cooling. This year during their check-up, when told that the bedroom was better but still not cooling as well as the rest of the house, Thompsons improved the vent outlet. Great service, great people and great results for your commercial or residential AC HVAC needs.

David, the owner, was very competent, but I have a problem with prices. When I made the appointment I was told that a service call was $79 but was charged $89. David replaced a capacitor and charged me $189 for the part. When I checked prices for the part he charged me about 10 times what I could have bought it for ($14.61 on Amazon). When your customer has to make decisions on the spot it isnt fair to take advantage of their ignorance on A/C part prices.

Mr. Thompson solved my home heating/cooling need with a retrofit Amana heat pump system. He did a professional job at a competitive price, and definitely has my recommendation!
