I love the physical therapy team here. They are always welcoming and present to help. There are a few front desk members that are the same. Most of them dont even speak no greeting at all. A few times Ive walked in and they turned and either walked away or just turned around to avoid me.

Jackson R. Lehman is one of our favorite YMCAs in Fort Wayne. They have an indoor splash pad, lap lanes, and warm water therapy pool. Their life guards are friendly and kind while still enforcing the rules. I bring my son and we always have the most incredible time. We are so grateful for their pool. Its a very nice and clean facility. The staff members are always very nice, polite and helpful. I have aquatic therapy in their pool which is always well kept, clean and plenty of lifeguards on duty. I just wish it was closer to my house.

Didnt have to wait long. The girl that help me know all my problems and was really great and didnt push me to far my first visit. She did a terrific job.

First time visit. Friendly staff. Clean and well lit. There is a childrens area. Handicap accessible. Ample parking. Handicap parking.

Beautiful facility. Staff are pleasant. Offer alot of programs for kids & adults. All FW Ys have an excellent financial assistance program. They make it possible for anyone to join!

Nice facility!I was creeped out by the grown man watching my 10-year old grand daughter walk to the locker room!

The equipment is not being cleaned after each member by members and or staff. I think staff should make sure each person cleans the equipment after each use. The Y is not clean. The bathrooms dont smell fresh.

Main use if for cable machines and they have a few, thankfully. Pool options arent the biggest which I think was a fail on their end as we do not have a lot options on this side of town. Would love to see something like this in New Haven/Woodburn

Great facility! The building is clean and the staff is friendly. I actually go here for Parkviews physical therapy (they use a section of the building) and its been a great experience. My parents both have Y memberships here though and they love it. My mom does a group exercise class in the mornings and my dad plays racquetball regularly. Highly recommend!

Excellent place to get your body right. I take my son swimming there and is accommodating for toddlers. Missed out on 5 stars because of kids play area still being closed and no hot tub.

Love the separate pools as well as the heated pool for my arthritis therapy

Always enjoy going here. The workout machines are very close quarters--which I mention not necessarily because of covid, but because it makes working out a tad awkward--but the view is amazing while walking or jogging on the treadmills and the staff is always super friendly.

Very popular place! Better stop by during off-peak hours or youll be fighting over machines like two 1996 suburban housewives over the last Tickle-Me-Elmo at Toys-R-Us on Christmas Eve.

Very rude workers. Brought little sister from Big Brothers Big Sisters to help her practice basketball for 5 minutes but would not let me in because she is not over 16. Told me I was welcomed to “walk around” the desk to talk to manager that was playing solitary on her computer and couldn’t stand up to help us. Very sad.

It’s a nice place but I joined for the lap pool. If you are an adult working a 9-5 the times you can swim are very limited. After 5 they have swim teams and adult water classes and sometimes the one lap lane is actually open. I would often call in and check before I went to see if there was an available lap lane only to be told on arrival by a rather cranky lady. Of course the lap lanes are closed! Why didn’t you check the schedule. Basically if your are going with the intent of using the pool hopefully you don’t work days alr just want to do “aqua Zumba”.

Awesome place to work out. I have the family membership and its the greatest. They have child care for me to drop my 3y/o off at. She loves it! When not working out, were cooling off in the pool

Great place, worked out in the pool to get into the cardio and almost no impact on the knees. Great variety of workout machines and the staff are extremely helpful. By far my fav of the YMCAS.

Always a great experience son broke his hip October 27th and staff was amazing and tonight went to the pool to find out the pool was closed but the lifeguard in charge dev allowed me and my sons in the pool to work on water therapy for my sons broken hip that required emergency surgery im so greatful for their help.

Love the classes they offer. Staff at this location arent very attentive and friendly to those that arent from from around there or regulars. If it wasnt for the classes I would not go to this particular location.

All of the greater fort Wayne YMCA locations are really nice, but this one is my favorite so far. Smaller warm pool and the large cooler pool, with a kids area in the warm pool. Steam room and dry sauna are great. Its all clean, workout equipment and indoor track are all in great shape. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Little game area with pool table and table tennis. Nice locker rooms, just absolutely nothing to complain about. Really, no matter which fort Wayne YMCA location you are close to, they are worth the cost.

Nice and funny place.

I was very impressed by this facility. It had a beautiful atmosphere. I loved their scripture verse bowl and verses painted on the walls. I was coming in as a young man was taking the flag down. I was pleased to see he was making sure it did not hit the ground. But he wadded it up in his arms and carried it in. One suggestion though. Teach your staff how to fold a flag the proper way. Our nation is getting so far from respecting this national treasure. Taking a flag is a 2 person privilege. Thanks for listening.

When they first open back up I was kind of skeptical how about how they were going to do the sanitation in Social distance but after going for 2 weeks now Im extremely satisfied in the sanitation in the social distance part everyone that goes into the weight room or cardio room they have you get your own sanitation bottle

Great, clean YMCA. The pool is the deepest of the surrounding Ys, and there is a big heated pool next to it. Has what all the other Ys have, its great. (No outdoor pool though)

Best Y in Fort Wayne, hands down. Very clean and helpful service. The layout and saunas and classes and everything are awesome. Lots more options than other gyms. I love the stretch area,i took off one star because I just hate the Ys time schedule how it closes so early and EXTRA early on weekends. Not everyone is free in the early morning and afternoon.

Good place for sports and fitness

We have been going here for the past few year. Living in NE Fort Wayne, we never knew what we were missing by not having a great YMCA. This has been fantastic. Plus my wife has become a Pickle-ball fanatic!

I am on a local swim team and love the pool here

I am very picky about where I exercise. This is the cleanest and modern exercise facility that I have been too. There are lots of families and kids, but the YMCA is so big that it is never crowded. The staff is very helpful and there is a person who greets you when you come in and leave (and with a smile!). The locker rooms are clean and not run-down (as in many gym facilities). The monthly membership is about 45 dollars. It is worth it if you are committed to exercise. Also, there are lots of great classes (I recommend the Pilates and Synergy 360 classes, especially) - active and energetic instructors. Again, one of the best and definitely worth the money.

Absolutely love the new Y its stays clean, the workout equipment is phenomenal and the staff are so helpful and great. If you dont know how to use the equipment theres people there who show you. I love the pool and steam room. I highly recommend everyone who hasnt been there to go check it out its worth it.

Very pleased. Excellent staff. Many programs to choose from. Multiple classes available. Good hours. Good availability of cardio machines. Occasionally have to wait on machines or free weights during peak usage times. Facility is always clean and in good condition.

Its lacking in enforcement of rules

My son and I just LOVE this YMCA location! The staff is very friendly, there is so much to do and we have really enjoyed the youth sports programs for young children. So grateful this was built on our side of town.

Brand new facility. Friendly environment. Not too busy during the weekdays. They *dont* have an outdoor water park or a hot tub @ this location. They *do* have a lap pool, a warm kids pool, a sauna & a steam rm. Nice variety of workout equipment. Fyi: the pool changing rm floors are always wet. In conclusion, this place is clean & convenient.

We were very impressed with the open feel layout of this YMCA. We toured two in looking to choose our main location. We liked the Jackson R. Lehman location for the more open feel of the workout area and the kids pool area.We will probably utilize other locations for their different offerings, but Jackson R. Lehman location will be home.Theron also did an excellent job giving us a tour.

Very friendly staff. Went above and beyond when we left something behind. They found it for us and held it till we came the next week.

The staff are so nice and kind the track is amazing. Party rooms are big. Good area for younger kids to play at. If I could I would recommend this as a 10.

Awesome place to get your workout on!

We love the Y! Our daughter has been taking swimming lessons since they opened at this new location and she’s learned and grown so much! We’ve loved each and every one of her instructors, feel comfortable leaving her at the child care, love the workout machines and the track upstairs. I actually prefer that there not be a hot tub because it would be a constant battle with our toddler, and love the smaller size- she can run in front of me and never get too far or out of sight. Family friendly, friendly staff, lots of classes and tons of activities!

The staff was very nice and helped us to get signed in as visitors under my mother-in-laws name. We were visiting from out of state and go the Y at home all the time. We were very pleased with the equipment, gym and bathrooms. Everything was nice and clean and although they were busy, it wasnt too crowded. We wish our Y at home had some of the newer features this location had!

Facility is nice and clean. The three down sides are: there is no hot tub, the heated pool is NOT heated and the showers/locker rooms are outside of the pool room so you shiver walking through the halls after an exhilarating swim. Not much thought went into the engineering of the pool area.

The staff from the door to the child watch are very friendly! The facilities are clean and the pool is warm! The machines are newer, so this Y is always first choice for me!

This Y has a great variety of cardio equipment. Its always neat and clean, staff are friendly and helpful. Free weight and weight machine area is a bit crowded and theres very few classes after 3PM at this location.

Places seems nice lots to do..... if not closed down for constant repairs or cannot use because no staff available. Charging guest 10 bucks does not average competition pricing. Got to do better. You got at least 3 fitness studio within same distance with better offers to workout.

Great place to sign up for gym membership.The classes,the childcare, the hospitality is pleasing.Various activities and an always friendly environment is the place to be when needing some alone time and of course a healthy workout to keep the mind and body fit.Good job to the Jackson R.Lehman team and staff🤸🏊🚴

This is a great place for families to work out or just hang out in the pool. They have daycare for two hours maxuim. That gives parents time for a good workout. They have two pools, one for swimming and the other one is a split pool for the young ones and the other is great for beginner swimmers. If youre military ask for the yearly discount on fees.

Great gym. The Play & Learn Center for kids is excellent. They have an amazing outdoor pool & splash pad. It is a wonderful place for family fun!

Calm YMCA. It does not seem as noisy and crowded as some of the other locations. Very open and inviting lobby and entry area. Try the sensory room!

I love this location. Perfect for my lifestyle with my kids. Only downfall is the child watch isnt open on Sundays but works out good for me bc I have a gym access at home. Employees are great. Glad they opened at this location.

Great Y. Open clean facility. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Pool is almost always open for swimming. Kids to Seniors are easily accommodated. Love it.

The pool at this YMCA is really neat, they have one area thats just for swimming, doing laps, Etc, and then they have a completely separate pool thats for kids and is heated so moms dont freeze to death. The staff seems really friendly and helpful too, and their locker rooms are great.
