Tim is a good barber... Very reasonable prices, more people need to find this guy!

Being turned down by several salons and several stylists while trying to journey back to my natural red hair became the expected response until I came to Tim! He confidently took on the task, explaining each step, and just a few procedures later Im full ginger again(back from 50 shades of purples and blacks)! My hair is red, shiny and as healthiest as its ever been! I couldnt tell you how his magic hands worked, but they did and oh-so-magnificently! Tim is THE MASTER and I will never go nowhere else while living in the area.

Jerry did an amazing job on my haircut. Without knowing, I walked in just short of when they were about to close. I offered to wait until the next day, but they insisted I stay and get it done. Talk about amazing service. The owner was super nice, and Jerry had some great conversation. I will definitely going back. These guys are awesome.

Tim is my favorite barber Ive ever had. He does a great job every time, and makes the whole process super easy, at a great price point. Ive got him cutting my kids hair now too. Everybody is happy!

I called Tim withing hours of needed a haircut and he fit me in within the same day he did an extremely good job cutting my hair! I would recommend Tim to anyone and I will be going back in the future!!!

I showed up without an appointment, hoping to get my hair cut before going out of town.I expected to wait, but within 15 minutes I was kindly fit into their schedule. I brought a picture of what I wanted and showed it to Jennifer, who proceeded to briefly discuss how we could make that cut work for me. She listened, provided honest feedback, and then quickly got to work. After a thorough shampoo, she cut and layered my hair as requested. When I asked if I could have my bangs cut shorter she pointed to her own hair and made a very practical suggestion. I was in and out within the 30 minutes she had in between appointments.While checking out I met Tim, the owner and was very pleased with his professional yet relaxed demeanor. He took the time to get to know and welcome a new customer so as to ensure repeat business.I received a shampoo, a haircut specifically like I wanted, a quick post-cut styling, and great customer service all for literally $2.00 more than what it normally cost me at GreatClips.I have spent twice as much at spas and received a fraction of the quality/service. I highly recommend this business, especially now that theyre conveniently located behind Klems Cafe off State and Crescent.

Usual barber was closed for a week for some unknown reason. I called up A Cut Above and scheduled an appointment with Tim. Tim gave me probably the best haircut I ever had. The big thing was that even though I gave him the same instructions I give to my other barber, the haircut Tim gave me was much better because he paid attention to the way my hair lays and cowlicks and etc. Definitely going back.

Walked in last Friday with no appointment and in desperate need of a cut. Was seated immediately with Dawn who, not only gave me the best hair cut Ive had in years, but was friendly and upbeat the entire time. Who knew getting a great cut could be so fun?!

Tim killed it on my daughters hair, gave her a crisp design, edges were on point, super lit, and he knew how to work perfectly with her super curly and thick hair. My daughter cant wait to come back already!

Tim is the BEST went a month ago for the 1st time and was very impressed how detailed he is gets it just how I want it done and a great person and very funny THANKS TIM!!!!

I had Tim and he did an excellent job. Did exactly what I asked. Knew what I was talking about and even made a few suggestions. I would definitely recommend him!
