Recently purchased a replacement freezer. Staff could not have been more helpful, and the delivery guys were great! Polite, efficient and accommodating especially since getting the old freezer out and the new one in was a bi of a challenge. Also great at keeping us advised as to when to expect delivery. Cannot recommend them highly enough! Thanks guys!

All went well with this store. Sean the manager was great to work with. They were willing to work with price which was a real plus because I can afford to shop anywhere I please and will walk right out the door so if they want my busines that is a deal maker. They even worked with me on delivery price since I live across state line in Ohio. The manager made sure the installation personally was right as could be as he help me to quickly remove my cabinets to fit refridge in space (it didn’t look that big at store lol). When it comes to business I’m hard to get along with I would shop here again for sure or recommend this store.

I purchased a washer/dryer. The customer service was wonderful. The ppl are very personable, helpful and friendly. All personnel wear masks and follow Covid safe practices. The pricing was reasonable. I would highly recommend them.

I will never use another appliance company ever again.We moved to Ft. Wayne last week from Bellingham, MA to a house that desperately needed appliances. Instead of going to a big box store, I thought I’d try a local place. Elwood’s was about ten minutes away, and had good reviews, so I gave it a shot.I was met by Mike, who was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and refreshingly honest. He gave me a run down of the inventory, and informed me that a new order would be arriving in a few days. I told him that I would return then.When I returned (yesterday), there was indeed more stock, but I was happy selecting what I had my heart set on earlier. I was once again helped by Mike and two younger men who were brothers. The purchasing process was smooth and the price was UNBEATABLE. They informed me that the three appliances would be delivered within 24 hours, and for only $50! I was beside myself.Today came, and I received a call that they could deliver the appliances two hours earlier. They showed up, moved the appliances, and installed them quickly. That included hooking up the gas stove, the range microwave, and almost hooking up the water line to the fridge (I had plumbing issues that need fixing). The owner himself came by and assisted in the installation process.Overall, I give them 5/5 stars, due to pricing, personality, and promptness. Top notch ownership, management, and employees. They exemplify the way every business should be operated. My wife and I are very pleased, and have become Elwood’s customers for life!

I went in for a refrigerator and left with a refrigerator, stove and dishwasher. Mike is incredible at customer service and gave us 100%of his attention. We were in and out in an hour on a Saturday . The prices are incredible. The young men who delivered and installed were polite, professional and just great to deal with! I would recommend Elwoods to anyone!!

I shopped at Elwood’s many years ago and had a very positive experience. We recently moved and needed all new appliances for the kitchen. The selections were really good and we decided on the Samsung appliances and I have been very happy with the results. The appliances were delivered and installed and I was very pleased with the service. The salesmen are very helpful and friendly and you get the added benefit of being greeted by service dogs. Try them sometime.

I am pleased to write a review and recommend Elwoods to anyone shopping for appliance(s). I went in to buy a refrigerator but also bought a range, microwave, and dishwasher in the GE Café line. The installation went very smoothly. I am completely satisfied with these appliances, they look and perform great, the stainless steel is easy to clean. The refrigerator holds the temperatures in both sides within 1 degree; the d/w is so quiet I would almost have to listen with a stethoscope to hear it and everything comes out sparkling clean. The ice maker failed within a couple weeks but Justin came out the same day to install a replacement, no questions asked, and there have been no problems with the replacement unit! Ben, Mike & Justin have all been pleasant, thorough, courteous and a pleasure to know. I highly recommend Elwoods!!

Saw tv ad called fridge already sold but had another one for 100 more. Went looked at it & he said well my boss said we can take it down to 790 because of this crack inside freezer, but we put silicone over the crack. No thank you. Saw one next to it & bought it. Frigidaire Gallery got it 600 under retail.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST. If I could give NEGATIVE stars I would. My parents ordered a brand new fridge, washer and stove and were promised they would all be delivered today. To their new home that is missing these specific appliances. Instead of delivering the appliances, you claim to not know where they’re at! How do you lose appliances?! And no one is stepping up and helping. Everyone has a “I could care less, you’ll get your delivery when you get it” attitude. These are 60+ year old people they are treating like this. I’m appalled and will be investigating options to hold this store accountable for their deplorable treatment of my parents. This is UNACCEPTABLE.

So I kept seeing commercials 4 this place so went to look 4 a refrigerator ....the help is knowledgeable and helped me find my best option...prices on some were high but others were reasonable and i found what i needed for 220 less than the other places i looked so Im happy. I think you learn a lot about a business when things do not go as planned. Elwoods Appliances and owner Ben Ellwood took a bad situation and handled it flawlessly.I had a freezer delivered on Friday and I had a full side of beef coming on Saturday. Though the freezer lit up and the motor started running, the freezer was inoperable. Unfortunately I did not know the freezer was broken until I returned home late Friday night. I left a message Saturday AM. Elwoods returned my call 30 minutes before opening and informed me that Ben himself was on the way to drop off a new larger freezer because they did not have any more of the one I purchased.Outstanding service Ben and company!!

Great sales people who are not pushy. Going in you know there can be scratch and dent but the selection is pretty good. I would recommend them for sure.

A little store that thinks they have a gold mine of appliances with scratches and dents.You wont get no deal here all youll get is a salesmans speach.(Brand new stuff marked up 200% scratch and dent marked up 100% over cost)This is why the big box stores like Lowes and best buy are taking over.The only thing that this little store has to offer is a good talking salesman speach.

Everyone we delt with was very friendly! We bought a used machine with a warranty. They didnt have time to run all tests on the washer which we knew going in. The machine ended up having problems the staff was so kind and understanding didnt act like it was an inconvience at all. They gave us our money back but we were so impressed and felt like we could trust them due to excellent customer service we ended up just going ahead and buying a new one from them which they were so kind to give us a good discount. We love it! I will say we will make our future purchases from here because it is so hard to find a place anymore that for one simply stands by their word and is actually honest with you from the get go which I find great value in. If you are nervous about buying an appliance they offer a 1 year warranty with all new appliances and a warranty for 30 to 90 days on used. So you cant go wrong! To be honest they had the best prices we found even before a discount!

We got our washer and dryer set at a competitive price and the customer sefvice was the best Ive experienced. It is so worth it to check out when you need an appliance. Im so glad places like this still exist. Family owned and i can see why this place is still in business! Amaxing customer service! And there are dogs there for petting while you shop., it doesnt get better than that!
