The facility was clean and well maintained but while I appreciate the concern that people had for my per cat in my car it would have been much more effective to ask me if I was keeping an eye on her rather than threatening to call animal control. The request for a plan of care would have been a much more diplomatic way of handling the situation. ( I did and do have a great deal of practice making sure she was okay given the heat.) She has travelled with me through a number of states and shes happy and healthy. The threat forced me to cut my planned workout short and the implication that I would endanger my beloved pet was insulting.

I love Everything about PF! I love the convenience of being able to check in when I am travelling! Ive checked in in Arizona, multiple places is Southern California, Arkansas, and Oklahoma!Even the colors inspire me and Planet Fitness has always had a culture of cleanliness! COVID protocol simply forced us to keep our distance but the environment didnt need any help! I take advantage of my Black Card membership benefits everytime I am in the club. I am fit and I am a gym rat, in the best sense of the word, so I am comfortable at any gym, but one of the reasons I chose Planet Fitness is because EVERYONE is welcome, no matter the fitness level. Fitness is one of the most important parts of my life and I dont require external motivation to go hard! Planet Fitness provides the opportunity for me to go as hard or relaxed as I chose; it is welcoming but not invasive, motivational without pressure.I am a FAN!

I hadnt set foot in a gym in 15 years and was never a gym rat to begin with, but I feel right at home here. The equipment and environment are always clean, the staff are helpful, and the price cant be beat. Only two weeks in, I have visited two other gyms while out of town, and always look forward to going back. If youre thinking of joining a gym, you would not regret a PF membership. Go for the black card and reward yourself with hydromassage and more. See you there!

Go back to being open 24/7. Some people don’t have time to workout between 4-10 because they work late. What’s keeping you from staying open all the time? We don’t have a mask mandate anymore, covid isn’t impacting anything. It’s over. Open back up 24/7 again, I promise you I’m not the only one that feels this way.

The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The place is always very clean and welcoming. Plenty of stations to help sanitize to help prevent the spread of covid. I dont know why I waited so long to try planet fitness but Im in love with the place.

The ladies room used to be really clean every day but in the last few months it is dirty.... the toilets only get cleaned every 3-4 days..... I know because I use the same one daily and the same dirt (or hair) is there for days ..... The shower is the same way .... The edges of the floors in the stalls are dirty .. the mirrors are dirtyThe equipment area is still really clean and the staff is friendly

The staff is excellent, the machines are great, the cleanliness is fantastic, and the options of equipment are varied. I would normally give a five star review for a place like this, but it is unfortunately going to have to be 3 because of the limited hours. They obviously stopped doing the 24 hours because covid, but at some point in the near future they need to go back to being open 24/7. Right now it looks pitiful on them when nearly every other gym in Fort Smith is open 24/7. Many people have work or obligations during the day and can only workout during the overnight hours. I will give them the benefit of the doubt until the end of May, but if they sit on this schedule that they currently have, I will have to leave and go elsewhere for a membership. 10Gym is sounding pretty good about now. Hopefully a staff member can fill us in on a timeframe of when they plan to go back to 24 hours if it is anytime soon.

Did not dislike the place but not everyone was wearing a mask and many were not practicing social distancing or sanitation procedures. The equipment was fine and I really enjoyed the workout and shall probably continue.

I had cancelled my membership months ago. And was still getting charged after I explained my situation where I am out of work and needed my money for electric they still would not refund my money and they had charged it 5 min before. They pretty much said screw you. Thanks for looking out for us during the pandemic.

Everything is clean and sanitary, my only complaint is the hours, they need to be open a little later for those of us who work late and like some gym time after! Miss those open 24/7 hours!

It is time to reopen. I have been a member of most of the gyms in Fort Smith and this one was by far the cleanest. It would be nice to not be forced to join another gym waiting on PF to open. Everyone else is open.

Went to PF on Sat. 12 Sept, according to their posted schedule they were suppose to be open from 7am-7pm. Got there at 8am. Only to find people waiting outside and the placed still closed???

Hard to beat a gym of this quality for the price. I worked out here for over 2 years and my only complaints are that they dont have free weights for bench and squat so you have to use a Smith machine. Other than that it would be nice if their free weights went past 75lbs, but then again its not a place meant for bodybuilders. Youre probably gonna have to wait in line to do anything if you go past 430 or 5, but theyre not too busy from 10-3.

The thing I love most about PF is that I can come and go when I want. The staff in Ft. Smith is always so friendly - even before 6am! Be careful, though, because sometimes theyll tempt you with free bagels! :)

I do like planet fitness however Im tired of the inconvenience of them not being open 24 hours a day when other gyms in the area are Im considering switching I work two jobs and its difficult for me to get in during these modified hours.

Always really clean and you can tan, use the WiFi and chill too. Its the best 24/7 sober hangout. Only thing its missing is a pool then I would stay all day. They just put in new tanning booths too.

If you are looking for a basic workout with a clean locker/shower room and nice amenities like the spa and tanning areas, then this is the best deal for your money that youre going to get. Hard to beat $10/month. The upgrade is only $20/month.

Its one of the most comfortable atmospheres, gym wise, Ive ever been in. The staff looks like they enjoy what they do and make it a point to be welcoming, its ALWAYS clean, machines are rarely (if ever) broken and its overall a very pleasant experience.

Don’t judge how busy this place is by the number of cars in the parking lot. Even at lunch time, there’s never a wait on using the machines or Smith Machines. There’s limited free weight opportunities, and what’s there is primarily dumbbells and a few straight weighted bars. There’s plenty of tanning beds (those seem to have the wait) and there’s three HydroMassage chairs.For $20/month, you get a pretty good deal! You can even bring along a friend, or partner, to exercise with you included with your Black Card membership.

I visited PF Saturday afternoon with my daughter and we signed up to use the hydro-massage bed and the massage chair. At that time there was a man in the electric massage chair so we went on to the hydro bed. When the man finished the chair, he came to use the bed and there was only one bed available so I waited for my daughter to finish her 7 minutes and then I got on for 7 minutes. When I came out, the male member had asked the staff to talk to me to tell me that he was waiting for the bed. He accused us of using the bed several times which is ridiculous. The staff knew that they had only pushed the button for the bed to work once for me and once for my daughter. This member proceeded to come and stand in my face and yell at me about the fact that he wanted to use the bed... without waiting his turn. As far as I know, nothing has been done to correct this person who obviously feels he is entitled. I made sure the incident was reported to the manager but I probably should have called the police. Apparently on one told the male member about the following statement: The gym enforces a strict rule system. There is no grunting allowed. ... The “lunk alarm,” as the gym calls it, is so loud it can bring the entire floor to a standstill. (A lunk is defined, on a poster, as “one who grunts, drops weights, or judges.)” Needless to say, I do not feel that there is any security available if this male member snaps again.......

One of the better Planet Fitness locations Ive visited! Large showers, clean locker rooms/bathrooms and a friendly staff all around.

Facility was great! Customer service is where my frustration is. I went into the facility and cancelled my membership and several months later noticed that they were still taking out my monthly membership. Planet Fitness was unwilling to reimburse for the months I was charged after the cancellation of my membership.

With me being an over the road truck driver, I visit different planet fitness across the country. And this one is definitely among the elites. I really enjoyed my workout and shower today.

Quality machines, comfortable environment..reasonable price. BUT I did have to ask for the showers to be cleaned as they were really gross.

Ive only gone after 1am, but the staff was helpful and did not try to shove product at us. They also went the extra mile and showed us all the benefits black card members get. Equipment is still new, well maintained. Ive seen staff cleaning different equipment every night Ive gone.
