After they arrived to clean the carpets they raised their price by $100. Even though the area was actually smaller than what I had estimated on the phone. And there were no other issues. It seems that their business model is to quote a low price and then raise it after they arrive. They even assured me on the phone that the price would not go up. After the tech called in they agreed to honor the quoted price. And the tech was always polite and did a great job. But I would not use them again because of the pricing scam.

What a great service! I have used Chem-Dry numerous times over the past few years. Recently, I used them to clean my area rug and my white/cream colored couch. It was in bad shape and now it not only smells and feels clean it looks “nice” again! I love it and was amazed how they were able to restore it!In the past, I had a home emergencies when my two year old overflowed a toilet. The toilet was running for at least ten minutes without my knowledge and water was everywhere. Not only did a professional show up very quickly, which was a huge relief, he was able to get water up that I didn’t even know was making its way to other rooms of my house!!! I will always use Chem-Dry!!!

I am so HAPPY that I called Old Fort Chem-Dry! I have my house on the market and needed my carpets cleaned. I had tried cleaning them myself for months but never could get them clean as I wanted. Old Fort Chem-Dry does it again! They have now helped us out several times with pet urine stains in both our couch and carpet. Again, they provided quick and efficient scheduling. The technician was polite and thorough. Pet urine stains are gone and we couldn’t be more thankful! We love Old Fort Chem-Dry and will continually use them for our carpet and upholstery cleaning needs!

The guys cleaned my den, dining room and bedroom. The carpet looks great. They, also, cleaned my sofa and did a masterful job. They, also, did the front part of our motorhome and it looks really good. Im more than satisfied with their work. The reason I didnt give the company a 5 is because when I called, the girl told me they were running a special for 3 rooms for $99, $89 for the couch and $15 for the motorhome if they did it while they were here. When the guys got here, they measured and found out we had about 1,000 square feet, which, I guess, was more than what the $99 allowed for. Instead of being about $259, it was $399.70. The girl, also, told me that when they came they would talk to me about scotchgard but she thought it would be about $15. The next step up from the $399.70 would be $799, which would include the stain resistant stuff. We were blown away. Their work is great but the office person needs to be sure and tell people it may be more depending on the size of the rooms. Again, we really liked the job they did.
