We enjoyed our stay. The garden room was comfortable and had full kitchenette. Clean. Bathroom was a little small but the bedroom large and comfortable bed. Easy access. Beach was nice and private. The marina was super for our boat and bait shop right on site. Very secure with key access to the dock and boat, loved that.And parking for boat trailer was great too. Friendly and courteous staff in hotel and the marina staff and coordinator was nice and knowledgeable and security at night was nice and took his job seriously. Good job Dockside we will stay there again without hesitation. And recommend it to others since we were from out of town. Great job 👏

Very Nice! A little dated compared to other hotels. Front desk personnel are super nice. Room was extremely clean. Bathroom sink has almost zero water pressure. Fire extinguisher in room (if needed) will not work as it needs to be recharged and checked. Last check was in 2008. Need paper towels in kitchen.

Hotel staff were super helpful and friendly from check-in to checkout. Rooms were spacious pleasant and clean. The property size and location was just right for our family to enjoy time away from home. On the Edge service and menu was great too! Music at the Bar and Grill was enjoyable enough to listen from outside balcony. On the dock fishing and inlet view complement for a fantastic time! Loved our stay!

Made reservations through an online website( worst customer service Ive ever encountered so wont recommend booking.com ever). I arrived to check in and as the clerk was handing me my room key I saw a credit card number on the invoice that wasnt mine and I told the clerk who immediately voided transaction. To make a long story short I had been billed and after over an hour of absolutely no help or resolution from booking companies customer service I was left with a reservation Id paid for but couldnt check in to. Thanks to the understanding and wonderful front desk clerk the situation was resolved and because of her I will choose dockside inn for all my future stays.

Positive: Close to everything i.e: State parks,restaurants. On the Ft Pierce Inlet. Nice view. Pool was nice. Room decent but overpriced for what you get. Some very noisy guests were an annoyance. Bait shop on premises. 24 hour security is comforting. Negative: It had changed hands since our last visit. Is now a motel with marina catering to large boats and docks are private. Only a small dock for people without a boat to fish. Room lacking in cooking utensils if you want to prepare a meal. Was disappointed.

Nice hotel with 2 pools, mini beach area and a marina to fish. Room was pool side with balcony facing the marina. king bed and kitchen. The place was clean too. I would recommend.

Love this place! Been going there for years. Havent been since the new ownership and they did an awesome job with the place. My only request would be to add underwater fishing lights for the guests staying there.

Hotel and restaurant are excellent. The staff for both are great people and make the experience worth the trip. However, the female dock master is rude and intrusive. She confronts people and says that she is acting on behalf of the owner and threatens them with being kicked out. I come here every year to stay in the hotel and use the marine and my wife and I are her at least 3 to 4 times a month to eat at the restaurant and listen to music. I have seen a lot of boat owners switch to the city marina because if this dock manager.We will probably not stay here again to use the marina.

The room was great and really clean...but the water pressure in the bathroom sink was low.. Its a little old fashion but its great..and TV is small.

Easily could have been a five star review but, the unwelcoming rude attitude of the front desk clerk, the parking rules if you have a visitor join you for the day, and the wristband they insist you wear each took a star from the review.A parking solution was finally offered which kept this from a 1 star review.We brought our boat with us for the July 4th week-end. Daughter lives close by and the plan was for her and the grand-kids to join us on the boat during the day.During check in we were presented with a wristband to wear so they could identify their guest. Neither my wife or I were interested in having that on us for the 3 days planned in the sun and out on the boat. Rather rudely informed we MUST wear them!Then, presented us with a parking pass to place on our dash. I ask about an extra pass for when my daughter arrives. Rudely told she cant park here. Ask where she could park and was told NOT HERE! First day my truck was located off the premises at a local boat ramp so, was able to use my pass on her vehicle. Parking spaces were plentiful so, second day ask again if we could get an extra parking pass as my truck was now on the premises. Again, was met with rudeness and lots of attitude and threaten a vehicle would be towed. After expressing we would never be back and headed to our room to figure out where we could pick up my daughter by boat, the front desk person had a change of heart and came over to our room and offered a solution. WHY WAS THAT SO HARD? Next day during check out my wife expressed thanks to the desk clerk for working out a solution, was again met with attitude.Ashamed the hospitality wasnt better. The place was nice and this could have easily been a 5 star review.

We just spent 5 nights at Dockside Marina and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The docks were in excellent condition; the marina staff -- Dockmasters Cammie and Capt Joe, dockhand Robbie -- were friendly and very helpful; the docks were secure (gated access and a security guard that patrolled the area throughout the evening); the two pools were refreshing after a long day on our boat; the views were amazing from the docks; and the marina showers for those of us staying on boats were very clean. We ate at the tiki bar one evening and the wait staff were friendly and the food was generous and tasty for the price. All around, it was a fantastic stay and we will definitely be back. I have one word of caution for fellow boaters: be aware that the current RIPS through the inlet and thus the marina slips. Slack tide is 2-2.5 hours AFTER the tide charts. If youre not an experienced captain, make sure to time your arrival/departure with slack tide and make sure you have plenty of docklines to secure your bow, stern, and spring lines. We thought we were arriving at slack tide but were blissfully unaware of the 2 hour delay. Regardless, our dockhand Robbie helped us bring our 37 boat into the slip with no bumps or bruises. After the first arrival, the two of us were easily able to maneuver in and out of our slip over the next several days by timing our day to the slack tide. Dont let the current deter you -- this property is DEFINITELY worth the visit. (One suggestion for the Resort Manager: the icing on the cake would be a small fan in the marina showers. Granted we were staying at the peak of summer but the shower rooms were a bit warm, even while taking a cool shower. May I also suggest a shelf to place a toiletry bag while showering.)

Let me start off saying the staff at the hotel and Brians staff at the bar is on point . The food is great and the atmosphere is great . We live in Lake Mary outside orlando and are avid fishermen.So many places do not have it all on property, this place is dialed in. If you looking for great food, great drinks, and great service and a place to dock your boat and get bait, this is your honeyhole .it dosent get any better. we have stayed at the Marriotts and another hotel which is next door which is over priced and a terrible customer service, nothing beats the Dockside Inn we will always stay here. When I called to make the reservations since I have not been there in a couple years, I specifically asked if they still had the big fishing pier!! I booked it under the impression that we were able to fish on the pier as we have in the past. Once we are and check in a d head to the dock we see everything has changed and now they have locked gates were the boats sit and the old pier is no longer there!!! So we proceeded to go fishing, we had the clerk at the front desk come out and rudely say”You can not put here fishing this is for boats only”!!!!! I got very upset since this is the reason we booked here I explained to her then she proceeded to say well you can only fish from shore or the small dock that in front of the boats that had a locked gate which the water only 5 ft deep if we were lucky!!!!!!🤬🤬 I asked for our money back since I was lord to but was denied it she said she was unable to refund it but I could gladly go find another hotel to stay with a dock!!! Very very unprofessional!!!!!! We stayed so I didn’t lose my money and the tools were old, the bed and pillows in the room were hard a the floor!! RUN DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! They will lie to you and not refund your money!!!!!!!!!

It was so nice and clean and everyone was so nice. Would definitely stay here again. I was so surprised how big it was, it was like an apartment with all the amenities. Checking in was fast and easy.

We have been coming to Dockside for years… since I was a kid. We love the convenience of bringing our boat and having it right outside. And this trip we got adjoining rooms with my parents so it was so great to just walk from room to room…However, as soon as we pulled up we stopped in the “loading zone” to unload our car. And with my 9 month old in my arms the security gaurd came over to tell me to move my car and I couldn’t park there… he told me 3-5 times very rudely without giving me a chance to explain that we were just unloading and my husband would be right back to move it… way too start our vacation off. Thanks sir. Then our rooms have no paper towels… I guess that’s not a thing. There are three plates in my parents room. The cleaning attendant didn’t fix the beds… I’m not sure if that’s a Covid thing. The music from the bar is so loud that I could hear and feed it with the shower on as I was in it. Lol. And the staff are just super short and not welcoming. I went to college for hospitality management and this place is not run like a welcoming hotel. Also, not really their fault but the pool was packed with a bunch of drunk adults today so we didn’t even want to step foot in there with my 11 year old niece and 9 month old son.I hope management reads this because we will be coming here for the foreseeable future and we just want to feel welcomed. And please bring the paper towels back. Lol. We pay enough for our rooms with kitchenettes to have paper towels.Thank you, an unwelcomed guest.

The hubs and I stayed here a few weeks ago. We stayed in king room facing the water #117. It was a very nice spacious room, the hotel was feel nice, and room was clean. The Over the Edge Bar was awesome!!!! Great food, awesome drinks and bartenders! Everyone so very nice. Great bands as well. However, the website said we would get a breakfast basket but we didnt, but that is ok!!! We are planning another stay soon with the kids.

The sleeping quarters are pretty good and the pool is really nice parking is horrible and the private beach is like 5 ft wide by 30 ft long if that but if youre looking for just a quick little getaway its a nice place to go to.

One star mostly because of there Fishing bate and trickle shop person. see review under Joes bate and trickle shop. but the place wasnt that good for the price. Bath and kitchen need to be updated and there little tv that had real bad views on it. It rain all weekend, my wife and I say now we get to stay in see tv and get some very needed rest. But that did not happen the very small TV I think it was a 24in. Was hard to see from the bed. And the quality was very bad.The bar/ restaurant is across the driveway was very load to about 11pm and the ppl on the 1st floor where very load thay where out to about 3am if it wasnt raining we would had left. Parking is hard to come by and ppl where parked in the handicap with no tag.

Good close getaway.

It was noisy with quite a few kids in the pool and a lot of loud people. The rooms looked clean but the floors were very dirty!!. After taking a shower we walked on the floor and looked at the bottom of our feet and they were filthy. Over priced. If you want quiet and peaceful do not pick this place.

Room was nice. Was charged $ 38.50 a night to park my boat in a sand lot. Couldn’t leave car with boat. Had to leave boat across the street. 58 docks and none to accommodate my boat and still charged me full amount to park it in a sand lot. Last time I stay here.

Wow. What can I say? Ive been to Dockside Inn three times now, and I have an absolutely amazing time each time. Their staff always goes above and beyond. The owners and management are fantastic! The Inn and resort itself is super nice and its in a great area right by the beach. Furthermore, the food is amazing. If I lived in the area, Id visit her for lunch or dinner very often. Overall, its a wonderful place to just get a break or bring the family. I highly recommend getting a chance to experience Dockside Inn.

Absolutely horrible. The new owner of this establishment made me, my husband, and our friends leave due to family visiting us at the hotel. We thought this was a family orientated place, guess not. Ended up going to Hutchinson island hotels next door, they were such a great place!!!! Never going back to dockside again.

Location was good 👍, right by the docks. Price was good for being off season. However the bed was uncomfortable and the fan squeaked all night, needed some maintenance.

I stayed here a few nights ago. I was in town for business and wanted to do some fishing. To my absolute surprise this turned out to be the best place to stay and fish!! The rooms are very very very clean and it has a nice family atmosphere! If you want a place on the Ft Pierce inlet that had the feel of a very clean fishing hotel? I would without a doubt say GO HERE!! The people were down right wonderful to me. And I enjoyed my stay!! And caught some good redfish too!! Just Awesome!!!!

We came here for the weekend on a friends recommendation. He has not been here for awhile and didnt realize there was a change of ownership. Fishing is no longer allowed anywhere on the property and no one is allowed on the docks. The room we were in was very run down. Out dated and in need of repairs. The screen to the balcony was unusable. There was no toilet cover. The bathroom is right off the kitchen and what repairs they did do were poorly done. I believe a Motel 6 would be a better value for the money. I would not recommend this place to anyone so please save your self the big disappointment and book a room somewhere else!

Positive: Location Negative: A window shaker a.c. on a $--- a night room? A.c. in bedroom omlu Frauded me out of $50 for telling me I could leave my boat on the trailer in the parking lot for 1 night, then telling me I had to pay for dockage that i didnt use.

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT stay at this hotel. You are only allowed one parking pass per room, the carpets are absolutely disgusting, the sheets weren’t even clean, the rooms smell musty like mold is growing, the pool was not maintained and here’s the kicker: you aren’t allowed to have “guest” in your room. The security literally made my sister leave my room because she wasn’t sleeping there and “guests aren’t allowed to hang out.” We were not loud, no one was drinking, we weren’t disturbing anyone.. we were literally hanging out in the room trying to figure out what our plans for the night was going to be. The security guard pretty much stalked us the entire night and followed us around like we were little kids. We also rented a dock space for the boat..hahah. Our boat was the ONLY boat there and the dock master was arguing with us because we accidentally roped off and parked in the spot next to the spot that was ours. She told us we have to move our boat over even though the spot we were in was not rented out. This new dock doesn’t have any cleats to tie to so that’s inconvenient . You aren’t allowed to fish off the dock. I have another kicker for you- you can’t have drinks on the dock. I’m not lying when I say we were taking sodas and waters off the boat to bring to our room and the security guard was literally yelling at us for having drinks on the dock. We weren’t sitting there drinking them, which he knows because he was watching us. We just wanted to take them to the room. Needless to say, they called the cops on us because my sister, parents and a friend came by the hotel to say hi and hung out too long. They did not refund us for the following night since we booked the hotel for weekend.

I love Dockside Inn. Been here several times. It has the old time beach feel. Cosy cute little apartments. Ft. Pierce is so great.

Nice marina

Formerly, a rustic place to stay that was great for dock fishing! Now a place that still advertises fishing docks, plural on website, but not longer allows any entry to any docks for fishing. When asked about the website contradictions it was explained as new owners want to promote boat dockage! Noting no boats whatsoever were docked at end of docks why not open one up for fishing till boats were renting slips, was seen as rude of me for asking! NEVER stay here, as now parking is crazy as well as the new owners rules. Zero stars was unavailable for my August visit, let the owners enjoy their empty docks...complain about truth in advertising to TripAdvisor!

Stayed here in the spur of the moment. Got a waterside studio for a reasonable rate. Loved the view of the inlet, the lapping of the waves and the wildlife. Dinner from the restaurant next door was great and the room was spacious and clean (albeit older). Will be going back in the fall for sure!

The people there were nice and the bed was comfortable but that is all the good about the place I can provide as the rest was disappointing. Stayed for my first and last time. After dealing with german roaches, no television in the toilet over flowing and coffee machine not working made my mini vacation stressful. Not a place I would recommend. Still had to pay regular price and manager was to call when she return to office and heard nothing from her.

I could not be more thrilled. The staff (especially Lois at the front desk) was so friendly and accommodating. We showed up with no reservations and was desperate for a room and had went to 3 previous hotels with no luck. Lois worked with me to help me and was so kind. She gave us fresh muffins and fruit and helped us find places to dine out. I cannot recommend them enough!! Thanks again Lois!! We will be back!

Stayed 3 years ago and loved fishing off Docks.Stayed in July and no longer allowed to fish off the docks.Where we used to stay 2 or 3 months we left after 2 days.Very disappointed.

Totally disappointed. I booked this hotel because it advertised a hot tub online. They do not have a hot tub, they have a cold tub connected to the pool. I went to scope out the restaurant on site and was told they close at 10pm.. I walked there at 8:55 and they were already closed. Now Im sitting in the room hungry and bored. Its not a horrible room, its definitely dated but a whole lot of false advertising going on. I recommend Hutchinson island plaza hotel next door, they have a hot tub, breakfast, its newer with central a.c. and its cheaper. A lot of reviews mention fishing, our docks are closed for an unspecified amount of time. :-( I cant even say anything to the front desk because they close at 7pm.

Great front desk service! Room was clean and had basics (blow dryer, iron, coffee maker, fridge, microwave). Beds were noisy, due to cover on mattresses, but decent. Very good value!

The Dockside Inn & Resort is an excellent place to go and relax. Its so very comfortable, incredibly clean, the staff is very helpful and friendly. We are looking forward to visiting again and again!! Thank you for having a great place to stay that is affordable and easy to get to.

Great quiet safe place to stay. our 1 bedroom king apartment had a full kitchen with silverware, plates, cups, pots and pans, and cooking utensils. a number of nice docks for fisging. clean bed and towels we were pleasantly surprised.

A perfect spot to spend the night and watch the tide roll in and out. Inlet room with balcony well worth it! Friendly hosts as well !

The desk beautiful day will help you with everything that they can they will do anything to make you happy the only thing is the cleaning service is not good but if you get a room and youre not happy they will make them clean that room again so its a win-win situation

We came down here for a getaway weekend and to fish. You have always been able to fish here in the past .I walk in the office and there are no fishing signs everywhere! All the guys staying here are complaining! There are snook all over the place and you cannot fish from the property any longer since the be ownership. Ill never be back! Ever!! Who on the hell puts up no fishing signs!! The place is not what it used to be! Stay away!
