We had Robert out to give us an estimate. He did a fantastic job of being on time and presenting the information to my wife so she could relay it to me while I was at work. We confirmed everything on Friday and they came out the next Monday morning to install the unit! Caleb and Josh came out on time and did an amazing job on the install! The only thing they didnt have was the UV light. A tech came out today (Tuesday) and installed that! These guys are fast, affordable, and professional. My 2 year old son was amazed by the installers and kept following them around. He even gave them fist bumps before they left.Youre not going to find a better A/C company than this. We will use them for all our A/C needs and recommend them to everyone!

Hi have used Grimes in the passed to install a entire AC unit and was very happy! Great customer service and great install. Recently we used them for my mother in laws 3yo AC unit that was installed by another company. She’s had nothing but problems. Called Grimes and they got someone out within hours and a part ordered and fixed the next day. We will confirm refer and use Grimes in our family.

My A/C was not blowing cold air into the house. I called Grimes A/C and was told as soon as the first tech became available, they’d call when on their way to my house. Even with a severe lightening/thunderstorm going on, I received a call quickly and the tech arrived 10 minutes later as he promised. I just wanted my unit repaired. They always try to up sale. I dont trust their advise. I went ahead and ask them to leave. Had to call them back an hour later. They left power off on the outside unit. I went ahead and fix my air conditioner my self. The reason I called them to start with was because I was very busy. The young fellow who came was a very nice gentleman. The older fellow tried to sale me a new unit even though my unit was under warranty.

Dan C was my tech. He said he would call and let me know when he was on his way. He instead showed up without notice and was very rude upon arrival. No hello, my name is ___ with ____. He simply walked in and became frustrated with me for not knowing my A/C unit was in the attic. We just moved into this home and are still learning the different, more technical, appliance specifications. After Dan solved our problem of a clog in the unit which took 10 minutes (being generous here), I asked him what the issue was and he spouted a one word answer back before walking out my door. He then sat in his car for 15 minutes. He came back in without knocking and handed me my bill of $125 which he charged for 30mins of work (10mins). I asked what the bill included and Dan did not answer any of my questions directly. Very unprofessional and disappointing.

Arrived at our vacation home on a Saturday and AC was down. They were the only ones with a quick response and were there in 30 minutes and fixed the problem. Just a month later we sold the place and had some AC maintenance issues on the inspection report and came in 1 day and fixed them.

We have been using Grimes for many years now. Their staff is awesome. The staff that comes to inspect the AC units and on time, get right to work . Then before leaving they go over sll the things checked and tell you what is means. You can’t ask for a better company!

My Air Handler is in the attic. Thats never easy or comfortable for any tech. Never once did i receive less care for my system and always professionally done. I am very pleased.

After clearing the pipe and testing it to make sure it was working properly I woke this morning to a dry garage. Almost everyday I see the people who drive Grimes work vans speeding up and down us1 like it is a race track. Van 27 this time. Speeding at least 15 -20 mph over the speed limit. Tailgaiting other vehicles and even ran a red light at the Publix closet to their office in north fort pierce. Reckless.

Had the biannual PM completed by the Service Technician (Brian) who arrived during the scheduled time frame and received a call 5-10 minutes prior to his arrival. Very courteous & professional staff.

We had Grimes install two new air conditioners in June 2019, we also signed up for their maintenance program at a yearly cost. We have had to have two motor replacements in one of the air conditioners and just 10 days ago had our regular maintenance visit with a 👍from the tech. Today we are sitting in no air conditioning as the unit with its second motor is, again, not working. Called the office at 8am and was told we, as preferred customers with a maintenance contract, would have the first appt of the day. When I called 3 hrs later was told no one would ever tell us we would be first appt of the day, and it would be afternoon before a tech would be able to come out. So much for being a preferred customer with a recently serviced air conditioner of obviously sub par quality with two burned out motors.

Our service repair man, Danny, was excellent, he was honest and thorough and a very pleasant man to deal with. Danny told us our air conditioning unit was made by carrier and was still under a 10 year warranty and that the air conditioner was only five years old at this point, so all we had to pay was the service charge and the labor everything else fell under warranty, we would not have known that as we just purchased this home and had no clue on the unit. We will continue to use Grimes Company and Danny as our service man excellent service without a doubt we highly recommend this company and the service man.

Made an appointment for the next day but they were able to come out within the hour! Fortunately it was a simple fix, Danny’s apprentice learned something and so did I as the homeowner on proper maintenance. Thank you!

Unit is under warranty and called the installer and was told I would be put on a waitlist 2 days out for service. Grimes came within 4 hours and handled all the warranty paperwork. Technicians were friendly, professional and efficient. I recommended them to our HOAs preferred provider list.

Terrible customer service. We called Grimes regarding an AC maint plan after purchasing our home. Since they installed our unit, we were hoping to stay with the same company. However, the lady we spoke with was rude, acted as if we were an inconvenience, and just had a bad attitude. We won’t be using them that’s for sure.

The fan on top quit and I was looking at over $300. Plus. They could have replaced the $300. Fan.The tech told me that it was a broken wire.The charged me just a service call.I would recommend Grimes to everyone.

They came out quickly and told me I needed a new motor for my AC. The problem is they wanted me to wait a week to install a new motor. It’s Florida. You need AC in May. How can I wait a week. I called another company and they installed a new motor the next day.

2 year old AC unit blew a compressor. Very good service to come and look at the unit on Sun morning. Compressor had to be ordered so we had to wait a week. Compressor covered under warranty, but labor was on me. Quoted $850. After 9 days I called to ask about status. At that point, they scheduled the install at day 11. Installer came out and compressor was wrong part. Within an hour or so, company had found replacement compressor. (I’ve been without air for 11 days—temps are in the mid to high 80s and humidity running about 85%—I have asthma). My thought was, if the compressor was available locally, I shouldn’t have had to wait 11 days for air. Final bill was $875. Installer was awesome, but overall my experience was below my expectations. Office personnel seemed disorganized, unsure when we called. Would have expected a more proactive approach. In the past, used Crull. We love John, but Grimes didn’t come close to the service we’ve had in the past.

I always use Grimes. They come out immediately when I have a problem with my AC. My AC is acient, so they service it a lot! I buy extended warranty contracts with them always. Totally worth it !! The way my unit was built back in the day, 1959 when the house was built I have to deal with it the way it is. So they keep working around it rather than try to sell me another system which would be the same anyway. They are honest and personal with their customers and treat customers with great respect. They were friendly, professional, knowledgeable and did a great job educating me about my system ... age, components, etc. and things to look out for. Also took all the model numbers and vitals, cleaned it good and flushed the drain. Glad I got this service going.

We recently purchased a home with an AC unit only 1 1/2 years old. Upon moving in, we started experiencing an unpleasant feeling and odor in the home, as well as mold around the air vents. The home always felt damp. We purchased a humidity monitor and realized there was 86% humidity in our home. The dehumidifier we purchased was collecting 2 gallons of water every 5 hours.Grimes AC was quick to diagnose our issue.Our newer unit purchased by our homes last owner was over-sized for the home with the updated impact doors and windows previously place two owners ago.Unfortunately, we needed a smaller unit. Grimes suggested a variable speed air handler and compressor. The new unit has literally changed our lives. Our home smells fresh and clean upon entering and our closets full of fresh laundry smell exactly like they should! Our electric bill has gone down over $100 per month!! We could not be happier with the sales and service team at Grimes AC. Our AC is amazing!!

We were sorely disappointed with the services received and appalled that in the middle of a pandemic some of the employees entered our property without wearing a mask and had to be told to wear one. Both employees were rude and seemed unhappy that they needed to wear a mask. The younger of the two service people sent was even more obnoxious and wore the mask loosely without attaching it in the back. Rather than properly securing their masks, They kept on touching their nose and mask and subsequently touching all without disinfecting their hands. Worse, they went in and out on several occasions removing their masks and entering inside our house without their masks on, putting them on haphazardly every time!
