Spent 2 1/2 hours on the phone just to get a receipt on my service. My new email address was given to the customer service rep when I made my 1st appointment but she failed to update it. Service technician has also ordered double parts and they expect me to pay for them, let him take them, and then process a refund. Ridiculous customer service! Will never use them again. Not to mention their prices are insane and it cost me $500 for a part I could probably buy for $50. Consumer Beware!

The folks at Sears Appliance Repair are great. The repair guys have always been professional and answer any questions that I have. The only thing I wish they would do differently is have two appointment times (0800-1200 and 1PM-5PM) instead of well be there between 0800 & 5PM but other than that, they are great.

This company is our sourced to individual contractors. Try finding someone to speak to when you have a problem. The technician was at my house less than 20 minutes. The $89 diagnostic fee covered him walking in a deciding there was a pencil stuck in the blower. Without letting anyone know about additional charges, he plucked said pencil out. This then cost us $141 on top of the $89 diagnostic fee. $230 for 20 minutes worth of work. No receipt. Upon asking for a receipt, it was not itemized. Help desk is difficult, language barrier a problem. Asking for a supervisor resulted in being told the one i was speaking to was the top of the ladder. I asked for a corporate number. They dont have one? only an address in Illinois. Sears holdings. All numbers to that building (found on Google) take you right back to the call center run around. But this time i got an email address. The online chat was the most helpful. After all the phone calls the decision was made. Yes, i was charged $141 for 20 minutes worth of labor. Its a code out of a book, nothing they can do. Sorry way to do business by sorry people. I will be posting transcripts of all the online chat on Facebook.

Came out and made attempt but never fixed my heat & air unit. He put the fan in backwards, its blowing down into the unit,instead of up and out. Nothing is coming into the house.What us wrong with your Repairmen? I had the same problem with them last year.It took 6 to 8 visits and 7 to 9 men, not to mention an $800 light bill and purchasing 2 air-conditioners to keep my family cool within a 2 months time.And then I get a letter from a supervisor saying he would send me a $50 gift card for my trouble...WHAT !!Im waiting to see how long its going to take to get it fixed correctly.

I did not use Sears contractor to install my over the range microwave. Sears still charged my credit card. The contractor said the job was complete. Now I’m waiting for this issue to be escalated, so I can have my credit card refunded. I expected more, better service from Sears.

$89 service call, I understand. I have the service report, he dislodged a pencil from the blower motor. Is time start was 16:45 - 2:45 p.m. stop time 17:05 - 3:05 p.m. That is a total of 20 minutes, he used no parts, $230 dollars. That is horrible, we left the check with my 16 yr old daughter, and he took advantage of that and just threw a number out there! And they wont give us our money back, even though they said we was right that he over charged us. I will never use this service again!
