I have lived here for almost a year and I love it here. Its like living at a resort. I love the hammocks at the pool and we always go out to the pool area with our friends and play pool and korn hole. Our apartment is beautiful and we love that the clubhouse is open 24 hours with free coffee! We also love the events. We just had Yoga last night and a pool party last week. Everyone is also so friendly. The only thing that I dont like is that that dog park is really busy and we dont get to use it sometimes.

My boyfriend and I moved in a few weeks ago and we absolutely LOVE it here! The amenities are amazing, especially the pool and clubhouse! The events are also really fun and weve already made so many friends!

Everyone has been friendly and helpful! By everyone I mean staff and neighbors. I moved to area for school and feel blessed to have found the Edison apartments with availability.

If you are thinking on renting in this place please make sure to come and walk around the dog park and any areas and feel free to ask renters around how they are feeling in this place and take a look of how dirty and. Poorly maintained is this place I’m sure you will be surprised, that can help you to don’t take a really bad decision do it whenever you have time especially on the weekends. Anyways the gates are always broken. This place was built to sell and the new administration…… good luck! VERY thin walls, and office is nearly impossible to get ahold of. Built to sell, looks great for the walk through but then you find more and more issues. I would say it is far overpriced. Also the mail room is a nightmare and I have been here 3 months and continue to not get “confirmed delivery” mail in my mailbox?

This place is ABSOLUTELY horrible. Waste of a lot of money for what you get which includes all types of noises from neighbors especially Bldg 7 on the third floor. Whoever runs the office is a compulsive liar when it comes to callbacks or even doing anything when issues are brought to their attention.

Beautiful place to live, but not worth what you pay in my opinion. For being the most expensive complex in the area you’d expect close to perfect. Buildings are built poorly and every resident I’ve spoken to has an issue with noise unless you’re on the top floor. Staff is extremely friendly but can’t do much to help. One time a staff member even told my friend that the neighbors might “retaliate” if they call about the noise anymore. It’s a shame because I really enjoy living here it’s like a resort however not worth what you pay for. Also, to move to another unit which is smaller than mine I would have to pay extra. You would think that with all of the complaints they receive they would try to do more to help the residents.I was also told the pool was heated (it’s not) the Ac in the yoga room has been broken for about a week. Gate has been broken since I’ve moved here. Again, minor issues but for what you pay for you expect better

Absolutely beautiful apartment complex, however an overall disappointing experience with applying for residency. After deciding to apply for residency (with hopes to move in on July 3rd), we were told the unit we liked could be held for 14 days. Conveniently, after spending $300 on our application, we were then told the unit could only be held if we signed our lease and moved in within the same 14 days. After making clear several times we would be moving in July 3rd, we received a phone call confirming our move-in date of June 9th? Very poor communication on managements end, given our preferred move in date was listed with our information on The Edison’s website.Also, the staged apartment available for tours was quite deceiving, as the windows throughout the staged apartment are not an accurate display of the actual units available for rent.Due to the communication we experienced with management (or rather, the lack of), we have decided to go elsewhere.

I love living at the Edison!! The new property manager, Katie, has been super helpful in making us feel at home!! The pool is everything you see and hear about... it’s clean and gorgeous!! Love love love living here! I can’t say enough good things about all the office and maintenance staff!

Before new management started at the complex, things were not great. The complex is beautiful and we do love our apartment, but we were considering moving. The new Business Manager Katie Leppert started and is fantastic, along with her team in the office. They are working hard to address any problems or issues from the past and we notice things improving rapidly. They are very receptive and caring if there is an issue that needs addressing. The other residents are very friendly and we live close to anything we may need.

Everyone is so friendly! Love it here. Just moved in but I think it might be the best apartment I’ve ever lived in. Community is clean and there’s no issue with noise from neighboring apartments. Nothing but good vibes!!

Really, if you want to save some money dont apply to this apartment, there are a lot of people around who always have something to say about this apt! Everything inside the apartment is cheap, the walls, the carpet, the kitchen etc. I dont recomend this place. Really! Plus the pool is always not clean

We love to call The Edison our new home! The amenities are BEA-UTIFUL! The ladies at the front rock, they are so sweet and help you with anything.. Plus, they host the best community events. Its the little things this complex does that make it well worth it, like the towels and water they provide in the gym! Everyone who visits loves the style of the neighborhood and the style of the apartments. There are so many different floor plans to choose from, and they have garages that are attached! Highly recommend living here, well worth it and stress free :)

Edison apartment looks great in websites and people who work on the office are great.. but honestly there is a lot of bad things once you are living on this apartment1)pool close at 8pm2) if you have dogs i dont recomend the dog park (a lot of dogs poo everywhere, the artificial grass are too cheap (very hot for dogs paws)3)mouse in buildings, dark water coming from the sinkOnce you are living in this apartment averything change. The money raise suddenly, carpet are too lose, wall and paint are the worst, the owner of this aprtment do t colaborate, i honestly dont recommend this apt if you want to savemoney. It doesnt worth

I am very highly disappointed with this place. I was in touch with them months ago about touring at 1:30 this past Friday. My boyfriend and I are looking to move to Fort Myers next May and were really looking forward to touring the Edison during our weekend trip to Fort Myers. We live in Pennsylvania and could only tour during our appointment that we had with them. We arrived a bit late to the Edison due to the airport traffic and no one was there. We called 3 times and waited for 30 minutes and no one was to be seen. I left a message asking for them to please call me back to set up a tour for the remainder of our vacation. I have received nothing back at all. I will no longer be considering this place for my future home. Very unprofessional and rude of them not to even try to reach out and call me back.

I really like living here! We have resident get togethers which my previous apartment community never did, like movie night at the pool and the Valentines Day get togerher. The clubhouse is open 24 hours and we can get coffee whenever we want! I feel like I always have a question and the ladies in the office are always so nice. The pool is so beautiful and fun! We always hang out and play pool or sit at the fire pit! I love that me and my friends can be social here! If I had to give one downfall I would say that the price is higher than other communities in the area.

We’ve lived here for almost a year. It’s a beautiful complex with lots of cool people. But the sound proofing (or complete lack of) is AWFUL. We have small children and I know the people below us are suffering big time. Since the complex was sold recently, lots of small things have suffered. The beautiful rentable office space is rarely cleaned. The beverage fridge in there that is supposed to be stocked never is anymore. Instead of spending weeks on adding a foot ledge on the perfectly working outdoor grill, perhaps they should think about cleaning up the nasty stairwells and hallways on a daily basis. There is dog pee residue and who knows what else in the stairs and hallways. It’s disgusting. The package room is a nightmare. It’s packed to the point of almost not being able to move around. Forget finding your packages in a timely manner. If some basic improvements were made in the right areas, this complex would be top notch.

I absolutely love it here! The staff is so incredibly kind, especially Marti in the management office. When getting ready to move in everyone was so professional and responsive with my questions. The grounds are kept extremely clean and I wish I could live at the pool LOL.

It was 4 star quality when me and my fiancé moved in 6 months ago. Now with the new management that started about 2 months ago the quality has down hill fast. For clubhouse events like bingo and trivia, we used to get local pizza, salad, seltzers, and craft beers. Now we get biscuits, cookies, and poorly mixed drinks. They also run out of bingo cards after the first round. Thats just poor planning right there. Unless new management comes, I wouldnt recommend coming here. Youll hear everything your neighbors are doing from thin walls and get poor clubhouse events. Not worth the price.

The units are small but nice. The gate never closes and the pool isn’t heated.

The Edison Apartments (Fort Myers, FL) is a well-designed and visually stunning apartment complex. The exterior architecture is unique and the landscaping elevates the beauty of the buildings. Apart from the main clubhouse amenities—which are numerous—there are other special features throughout the community. Such as the dog park with grooming station and secondary grill station with seating for dining and relaxing around a fire pit.Additionally, there are several monthly events planned which are free for residents. The social gatherings are thoughtfully themed and well presented. There have been taco trivia nights, movies under the stars, wine paired with painting parties, Sunday brunches with Mimosas, breakfast doughnut bars, food trucks and live music.More of a resort than an apartment complex! I highly recommend The Edison Apartments.

We moved here from out of state and we love it! It’s priced more than what we wanted but everything is so clean and beautiful and the staff is very nice!

The place looks great the staff are friendly. But Watch for the bait and switch on apartments and price change if they play these games before you move in I can only image what’s happens after you live her. Traffic is terrible in and out just down the road I found DECORUM. nicer apartments bigger, honest staff there to help you and not there to try and take as much money from you as they can better pricing and a better location if you are in the market check them out first

Good people all around. Dont really know anyone but ive never had any issues tho. Wish there was more of a variety of events to attend though.

I was extremely disappointed to find out through social media that the Edison is still hosting large events indoors with no visible masks or social distancing, which is reckless and dangerous. Not to mention promoting the sharing of possibly contaminated food/serving platters and utensils with no regard for those who are actually following CDC guidelines but must enter the building for assistance or to use the amenities safely. It is very apparent that the priorities of those in charge are not to keep their residents safe but to keep them entertained, even if that includes spreading a deadly virus that has killed well over 200,000 people and counting.

Cancel Christmas. No Christmas decorations on your patio even though they have been up since March. Globe patio lights. Today Dec 5th it becomes an issue. Don’t waste your money living here. It is an absurd money pit!WHERE IN WHAT ASSOCIATION CAN YOU NOT HAVE LIGHTS OUTSIDE?What is next? No wreath on the door?Oh but if you like to smoke pot feel free to move in here because they won’t do anything about it and you can smoke away rock out your music and have your dogs Barking on the patio. Just don’t hang up Christmas lights

Very different experience after moving in

My resident experience started out really great! Then I discovered a rodent, which left me very distraught. I reported this issue immediately, because I’m not at all a fan of any rodents. My issue wasn’t handled as timely or as Professionally as I would have preferred. I was left feeling as if my situation wasn’t as serious as I made it out to be because this is normal for new construction. For my inconvenience it would have been nice to recieve a discount for that month, because it would have shown me that the Edison actually cares about there residents. The motto of you get what you pay for really didn’t apply in this instance!

Will be a great place to call home in July. Beautiful new community with great amenities. They greet you with a smile and are very helpful to your needs. I have been back several times to tour different apartments and ask lots of questions. Megan has been extremely helpful and patient. Cant wait to move in!

Just toured this property yesterday and had to bring my dad to see it for himself this afternoon. All I can say is WOW! I am absolutely in love with this complex. I cant even begin to describe how amazing the amenities and apartments are for residents. The ladies who work in the office are the most pleasant people I have ever come across. If youre looking for a new apartment, The Edison should definitely be on your go look at list!

The ladies that work here are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING (I worked with Andi specifically)! Genuine, kind and completely knowledgeable. The know their stuff and have answers to any questions you may have. I have never been more excited to move! They offer so many great things for the community and really show they care to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. They are the best period.

My husband and I visited this weekend and let me tell you this place is beautiful! Andi and Megan assisted us with answering questions and a tour and I appreciate them so much, they are seriously amazing! I would definitely love to live here! If you are not able to tour in person before applying, do not worry the place is fantastic just like the video and pictures.

The apartment is beautiful. The amenities are outstanding. The staff has communicated affectively and are very nice. We are vey excited to be a part of the community.

Really enjoyed our tour and applied the next day. The apartments are really nice and we cant wait to move in at the end of March. Working with Megan was really great and she was quick to answer all the questions we had after our tour and during the application process. We couldnt ask for a friendlier or more competent office staff. Well see you guys in march!

Toured the complex and loved the clubhouse and amenities. Megan recommended the 2 bedroom carriage house for our family and she was right, it is perfect for us - the layout and spaciousness is wonderful! We are thrilled to be moving into The Edison!! 😊

The tour was amazing and Meghan was very helpful and informational on all the apartments we toured and was very excited to have us there. I cant wait to see this place thrive in the future. However we wont be moving in due to financial issues. Hopefully can in the future.

We met some wonderful people while living here, but other than that, a huge disappointment. Excessive noise and partying, lots of animal waste not being picked up but we had to pay for our dogs to be registered for “poo prints” to help keep the property clean (yet there are still so many piles of poop so just a way to take more money), cheaply built buildings where you can hear everyone and everything. Just not worth what you pay for.

Very excited to live here! The design of the clubhouse and apartments are elegant. The amenities sold me- truly like no other complex in the area!
