Loved staying here! This was a lovely resort with great amenities. I enjoyed a massage and the spa. Our room was clean and the bed was comfy. The beach was wonderful though as a heads up towels are free but you do need to pay to use an umbrella ($20).
We had a great time here! Other than being placed in a room at the very very end of a hall, we have a pleasant stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and we enjoyed meeting other guests as well.Yoga on the beach in the morning was a great way to start the day off. Love that they offer that every day.The food and drinks were okay. Restaurants were nice places to hang out. Diana at the bar downstairs was awesome.Khalil and Nuno were an awesome team who served us on the beach. They are super friendly, personable, and attentive. I admire how hard and efficiently they work, even in the hot sun. They have great futures ahead of them!
The hotel is very nice. My only regret was not getting an ocean view room. We had an intracoastal view room that overlooked a roof. Even if it didn’t, there are no good views on the interior rooms. The ocean view looks directly out at the ocean. The bed was comfortable and room was nice. The beach was nice too but gets deep very quickly. The water was rough but a local said it was calmer in the mornings. We had very good service on the beach; nice staff and set up there. The pool service was lacking however.
The service was exceptional. Every single employee who helped us in every role was warm and went out of their way to make our stay. We love the resort but we loved our stay because of the employees. Nuno who helped us all day at the beach and Karen P who served our meal at lunch were two people who we will remember for making our stay exceptional.
Check in was quick and easyI love the mobile check in option. When I arrived early (prior to check-in, there was a room ready so there was no wait). The property is beautiful; the rooms are spacious; the beach is massive; the pool area is wonderful. I loved to see the different size lizards walking about the pool area. I appreciated the poolside food and beverage service. I was able to enjoy lunch and a nap without leaving my lounge chair.Having a water station setup by the pool was fantastic as well. The entertainment at 3030 (Deltoro Bryant) was awesome. Great voice and multiple instruments made for a very nice show.Since COVID started, when I have stayed at hotels, the ice machines have been down. As an ice cruncher, I was very happy that they had ice machines on the guest room floors and working. Thank you for helping to keep me cool day and night. One more thing to mention about this hotel, they have a few games setup outside, a huge chair which is great for photos, and a very large space to hangout besides the beach and pool areas.TIP: request a room with a pool and beach view if not a beach view. It’s nice to sit on the balcony and watch the sunrise and sunset.
Where do I start??? Room was ocean view....amazing and clean. Resort and amenities ....amazing. We ran the legs off the cabana boys and tried every drink on the menu...amazing (recommend the FLOATERS)!! Ate several times right at the Sea Level outside grill and bar. Kerry was so helpful and best little waitress ever! I would ask for her she goes above to make your moment special. Details that you just dont always get anywhere else. Its beautiful!!
My wife and I stayed at Harbor Beach for 10 nights. Our fourth time staying here. We love this hotel. Very well laid out. Beautiful, clean rooms. One of the nicest pools Ive ever been in. The waterfalls, the restaurants, the gift shops, etc.... Incredible, from arrival to departure we were welcomed by people who treat you like family. Great job Marriott. They hire friendly, positive people. The staff from the front desk (Marcos) to the cleaning staff, all friendly, courteous, and accommodating. An incredible staff! An absolute great experience! Lunch by the beach was excellent, thanks Fernando, great service. Highly Recommended!Would give 10 stars if I could!!!!!!!!Keep up the Fabulous work! Thank You and see you soon! R. T.
Where do I start..... Booked a spa treatment my card was declined so they said went to use my other card same thing declined again. I called my bank right then the bank said nothing on their end would be holding it up the transaction. My cousin who booked the same time as me card did the same her bank says the same as mine. The lady that was doing the payment transaction say lets try the other cash register took our card swiped again it went through both of our cards. They take us to the back change our clothes we waiting on the lady to come back never did we go looking for her at that time the man come out and say you my 11 appointment no can do its 11:45. So we request can we reschedule the answer was no. We ask for our money back she say sure 5 to 7 days it will be back on your card needless to say I havent got my money back. The beach they take your beach chairs at 5pm you can stay on the beach but no chairs and it was a private beach at that. Food the first day hair in food the manager act like it was no big deal and waitress also 3rd day a fly in the milk for the coffee. This resort is for people around the age 55 and older nothing to do after 10pm everything shut down. The beer and wine tasting didnt have no wine. The room was great with a good view thats it.
Nice cozy rooms and luxurious pools with all the comforts of a spa. Excellent resort to unwind and RELAX 😌
Just a great experience! From check-in to check-out this place really earns the 5 stars.I stayed here for a business trip a while back and was blown away at how clean the room was, how friendly and prompt staff was, and room service was delicious. My room had a beach view with a porch.Big open concept kitchen/living space. It took a minute for the water to become hot but once it did it hit just right.Great restaurants downstairs and great chill areas around the pool.If youre in the great city of Ft. Lauderdale, treat yourself to a room here!
We stayed here for 2 nights during Labor day weekend. We called prior to arriving to make sure the room was ready. Once we arrived they proceed to tell me that the room had not been paid for even though I had a screenshot showing that the room was paid for by someone else as a gift. The girl in the front tells me that we need to wait for Rachel to arrive for her to confirm the credit card authorization form that was sent to her weeks before our arrival. I was upset that theyre making me wait, so I voice my concern and someone from the back comes over and tell the front desk agent, just give them the room since its ready. We had requested a crib which was not there, I called and they said they would be up shortly. Hours passed and I called again and the same thing was said, we will be up shortly. Almost 4-5 hours later the crib arrived. The hotel B floor is very outdated and old school it feels like youre in a really old hotel. I was not crazy about how it looked. The pictures online make you feel like youre going to a 5-star resort when its far from it. The pool was packed since there was a conference going on, which I wish I would have been made aware of prior to booking since it changed the trip for us due to the number of people everywhere. The pool water was always full of bugs and they had 2 pool boys taking everyones orders. The iguanas are out of control. I had to literally be on the lookout the entire weekend. They would jump up on the chair to try to take our food. I am terrified of these things. I was so over everything at this point. The food at 3030 arrived cold, the appetizers we told the waitress to make sure our entrees arrived hot and of course, the food arrived cold, we had to send it back. What happens when you send steak and lobster back? It gets reheated and becomes chewy for a whopping price of $65.00. We were so upset. The manager gave us free desserts. I would not return here again, to be honest.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The service in the hotel was good and the breakfast buffet at the restaurant there was great. We rented a lounge bed for 2 days at the pool and they were very comfortable, however I do have one complaint. According to the hotel the lounge beds come with Food & Beverage service from the restaurant but we could never seem to get a server to come over to us to order drinks and food. The couple beside us were elderly and the husband had to walk to the restaurant to ask them to send someone out to take our orders. I think they should install a flag or something to the sides of the lounge bed that will notify the staff that wed like to place an order. Other than that our stay was very relaxing and plan on returning.
LOUD music played continuously at pool…if you want down time and relaxation, you won’t get it here. Their margarita tastes more like a diluted lime juice, though the salt/sugar rim was a nice surprise. The staff needs to be trained on how to truly clean a room, including maintaining the bathroom and shower so there is no mold or rust-disgusting!
I am born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and have worked in the Hotel industry, wearing many hats along the way, so I know what is what in town and I know a great Hotel when I am in one. My friends from out of town stayed here for a few days and I joined them for a mini staycation. So glad they chose this Marriott! This particular Hotel just shines!!!! Not just because of its magnificent location and perfect layout and the most gorgeous resort pool around with some fantastic restaurants on site as well, but I need to mention a few names that deserve as much recognition as all that I have mentioned. First employee I met was Lillian. What a nice lady! She overheard me complimenting the Lobby Attendant Mildred on her wonderful work! The lobby looked great (Im a clean freak) and the bathroom I used in the lobby was spotless. That whole area is hard to keep clean when you have hundreds of feet, shoes and sand being dragged all over the place but Mildred was a champion at keeping up with it all and with a smile too! Next employee I encountered was Andre. What a gentleman! After a hot day out by the pool.. I left my friends outside to come relax in the lobby and Andre offered me bottled water. Perfect timing actually. I was overheating. I thanked him and we chatted a bit. I observed his professionalism towards many customers as I sat in the chair close to the front desk check in and he handled each guest with such old fashioned class and manners it was just a nice thing to see! Personally I am like that in many ways (yes Im boasting a little so what) and its nice to see others do the same in the biz! Without these types of employees, its just a beautiful Hotel without that personal charm and touch, so they deserve an applause!!!! I did not meet any Management, but Im sure they are proud and grateful to have such a magnificent team to make this Marriott Resort shine the way that it does!!!!
This place is an amazing beach front resort and I would definitely go back, the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because I didnt like that they charged you $21.40 to have an umbrella at the beach and also there should be a sign on the wooden walk ways to the beach that say you should wear shoes because they are extremely hot on bare feet, so dont forget your shoes because the sand is also very hot, another reason the umbrella should be free. The rooms are nice though and the pool is awesome and everything was very clean, so I would go back.
Not sure what some poor reviews are for but the place is impressive. We recently stayed at the Ritz and I am accustomed to higher end resorts - and this place is no stranger. Restaurants are excellent, pool is beautiful and tremendous, beach is pristine- STAFF IS AMAZING from housekeeping to beach front workers and restaurant staff they can’t do enough for you!!!!!!Family resort and I will absolutely be a steady customer .🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Three great tips from a business person and parent. 1- more entertainment poolside or afternoon ( music and games )2- Starbucks needs to be open later we need caffeine3- beach chairs and bar need toBe later too we need drinks 😂👍🏼
This place was lovely. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and the bedding was luxurious. Even though it was uncomfortably hot outside, there was a nice breeze by the pool and umbrellas for shade.
Beautiful Resort & Spa! Clean and spacious rooms, friendly and helpful staff, delicious food & drinks, and wonderful private beach!
I requested an early check in and when i arrived they said my room was ready. I received my keys and excited to see my room, when my BFF and i opened the water was running and there were luggage and clothes all over the room. we closed the door and heading back down. at the front desk we decided to speak to Andre and he was appalled at the news of our room and apologized numerous time said he would give us another room but we needed to wait and we went to bell staff to tell them to take the luggage to the other room. they were not nice very and said the luggage needed to stay in car due to no carts. etc. finally we decided to go to the pool and wait and waited the spa appointments were at 330 so we headed to our app which was amazing by the way. Finally when done we did some retail shopping and went to the desk at 5pm and of course the room was ready we told bellman about luggage when up and waited 20 mints later called down and was told by Rachel she would tell them. Another 20 mints mints passed and nothing then i head down and found Rachel with mu luggage about to head up I truly thanked her for going above and beyond and took my luggage up my self. We were there one day and 1/2 and never got contacted by management about our situation which could have been ugly had we seen the guest in the other room or dangerous to be exact. Overall the staff was nice but not that attentive. Amazing location but i was not thrilled i guest cause of my arrival and then some.
We stayed here for a girls’ weekend in March. Hotel. The rooms, property and beach were very nice with good service. But the big pool was super crowded and seemed kind of old w/dingy tile, etc. and in need of a refresh. It looked like it was a very nice pool at one time — and a lot of people seemed to be enjoying it — but it had seen better days. I didn’t find it up to par with the rest of the resort and had little desire to spend any time there.
Booked an impromptu girls weekend and was not disappointed. I look forward to coming back.Shout out to Faye at check in, Rosa for breakfast, Davids help with chairs at the beach, our server Jayher, Bernard with pool security, Nick at Starbucks, Sandra in the lobby boutique, Edwards poolside service, and Chante at the desk. Yall are wonderful!
This place is a moderately nice resort/hotel with a private beach. We loved the restaurants, lobby, beach, pool, and most of all - the gym was beautiful. My only complaint is the fact that the rooms bathroom doors are sliding / barn doors that leave a 2 gap, floor to ceiling, so anyone else in the main part of your room can see / hear everything that happens in the bathroom. Management - can you please explain your rationale for using this type of door? Are your room designers seriously comfortable with their traveling partners hearing everything that happens in the bathroom? Why wouldnt you just add some sort of weather stripping to close off the gap? Again, we loved almost everything about this place, but this bathroom situation creates an unnecessarily awkward dynamic.
Positive: Very clean! Beautiful grounds. Very comfortable beds. Awesome shower. Towels were plentiful. Beautiful place to vacation. Negative: Expensive- the price they say doesn¿t include resort fee or resort fee tax, different room taxes or parking and parking tax. Room price ended up being 130 extra a night. Resort fee includes two beach chairs but a beach umbrella is extra.
Definitely not a property that has aged well. Marriott Titanium Elite redemption stay, and definitely nothing special. No housekeeping, hallways smell like pot, no elite upgrade - the people working on the beach were nicer and more welcoming than anyone I spoke with at the front desk. Pool has seen better days…. Only thing this property has going for it is the beach, which is great - as is the service on the beach. It’s fine for a points trip if you have low expectations but I would be really disappointed if I spent real money on this trip. All you have to do is look at the hotel managements responses to people’s reviews - it’s the same stuff, over and over - yet the claim that they will be addressing it. I guess they have a lot of work to do.
8 of our friends and families stayed in this resort for a week. Great location, clean and beautiful beaches. Very family friendly. Great customer service. Especially Brian in the front desk. He is amazing and always willing to help and take care of the customers. Would strongly recommend this resort.
Stayed 2 nights over the Mothers day weekend and it was wonderful! The service was great. It was our first time and would definitely come back! The pool area is so relaxing and one of the outstanding servers was Allison that made it even better. Had a wonderful massage by Theresa and shes exceptional and Suze at the reception area was very helpful. Cant wait to come back!
The hotel was beautiful as was the pool and amenities. However, having to beg to get your room cleaned for $350 a night seems insane to me. We stayed for a week and asked to have our room cleaned almost daily but It only actually got cleaned once. The response from the hotel is “we have short staffing like everyone else” …then why am I paying full price?!?!
Love this hotel and have stayed here several times. Great service and amenities, fairly new hotel also. Location is convenient yet secluded from the public beach area to some degree. Hotel is also very regulated with wristbands and management to ensure only guests enjoy the area, which I love given all the people that try to sneak into hotel pools that arent staying there.
We liked it. Room was clean and quiet. But the sliding doors to the bathroom don’t provide as much privacy. Check in took a while, we were not told about breakfast availability so we got some Starbucks every day. The proximity to the beach is why we came and why I would return. And the beach staff is great!
This hotel is better than we expected. The room is great and the grounds are wonderful. The staff is friendly and professional too. We booked it through Delta Airlines along with our flight.Stephen J. Larson, Ph.D., CFP(r)
Top reason to go: Beautiful pool right at the beach with a short boardwalk that leads from poolside right onto the sand and the beach bar.Really good: The 3030 Ocean restaurant. Great food, view of the ocean and good service.Skip this: The Sea Level poolside restaurant is just okay for pool snacks like chicken wings and fries. Not a place to have a good dinner.
Great service, nice ocean view. 3 star rating is because they nickel and dime you. Our party had 6 rooms in total and you are not allowed to bring any coolers, chairs, or umbrellas on the beach. They want you to pay for everything.
Great staff. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Awesome restaurants
Excellent resort, clean, nice staff, and of course the location is amazing. Great view of the ocean. Will definitely be back.
Excellent stay, everyone at the hotel was super friendly and accommodating. Food was great and service was very fast. Private beach was extraordinary and the staff did a great job making everyone comfortable. Cant wait to come back soon.
Almost regretted booking this Resort after reading some reviews. But soooo glad I went thru with it. Not sure why such negativity, it was awesome. Yes you will have to pay for some extras as this is not an all inclusive but minimal. Beach staff & especially servers such hard workers. Food, great. Clean room. Great staff. Will recommend to anyone! 👏
Facilities are very well maintained, and the pool and beach are well staffed. But other than the beach and pool, there arent very many options for entertainment. The prices of food in the hotel restaurants are insanely high. We were automatically charged the $39 per day resort fee with no verbal explanation about it when we checked in. Ok trip, but probably wont stay here again.
Beautifully made place. My oceanfront room was lit. Sunrise was worth watching daily
I book my vacation 3 months in advance, traveling with my 3 childrenThe hotel is understaff and they are not doing full room service. Is my one week of vacationFacility is nice but I wouldn’t book here again. The restaurant staff is great but not the hotel staff clueless at times .
Ask for Nuno!! Best service weve had. Also Kevin in dining room. Awesome service. Thank yall
I made a delivery there. Although I was only allowed to stay in the lobby and the guests came down to meet me I was very impressed with the establishment. All employees a well-groomed, helpful and very courteous. The lobby was luxurious oh, and the view is stunning
Great place, but..... no coffee on beach, parking is expensive, wifi not included, beach umbrella extra...... bring your wallet!
Beautiful hotel, would definitely book again, just wish staff and house cleaning were more attentive
Decent hotel with average rooms. Had a few ants in ours. Ate at the lobby restaurant, food was better than expected. Steak was perfectly cooked at medium rare and seasoned well. Snapper was great as well but a bit on the smaller side. Hotel was pretty busy and bar was crowded every night. Staff were all pleasant. No real complaints about the hotel itself.
The resort itself was great and we had a fabulous time despite the end being so disappointing. We booked the member staycation rate which included a 2pm late checkout (guaranteed), and upgrade based on availability, a resort credit of $25/day, and 1/2 off parking. It was a great package and worth the extra money so we figured we would stay at the resort right up until checkout, book the later flight home and get the rental car an extra day. We were told last minute that we had to checkout at 11am because that was based on availability but since we were Gold Elite (after several attempts to nicely tell them it was guaranteed in the package) they pushed it to 12pm. I would understand if that was stated in the package but Marriott customer service confirmed that it was a 2pm late checkout guaranteed and with 2 x 7 year olds that was the allure of the package. If youre going to take back part of the package or change the rules, please state that in the package up front and do not bait and switch families that are counting on that. Staff was very rude and argumentative when I tried to show them online that it says guaranteed late checkout 2pm. This left a very bad taste in my mouth and ruined my last day, please beware.
I think my stay wasn’t as pleasant as expected. At first I was very excited because the location reminded me of a hotel I used to visit with my family. I understand there’s still a lot of restrictions because of covid however room service was out at my door waaay too early so I only requested it the first day and after that I constantly had to get my own shampoo, conditioner, towels, and take my own trash throughout my stay which is not something that I necessarily want to worry about while I’m in vacations. My second complaint is that unlike many people I noticed the price surge of the water depending on the time of the day whether this was at the convenient store downstairs or at the vending machines so be ready to spend about $100.00 on just water or bring your own water bottles. Also, meals were very overpriced for what those were and never necessarily enjoyed one of them except for the restaurant by the beach. There’s a lot of room for improvement and I’d absolutely have had zero complaints if it was worth it. I’d appreciate if you guys took those into consideration.
Enjoyed my 2 night stay! Every staff member I came in contact with were very nice and professional. Great value for the price. Will be staying here again!
Just got here about 1 hour ago. So far the elevator wouldnt open more than 2 inches at my floor. I eventually got it to close and I went up one floor and then took a different elevator down. Thankfully that one opened fully and I could exit. Then the roll away bed we requested came and was left outside our hotel room. Never had to push a rollaway bed into a hotel room before and set it up myself in any hotel. Really disappointed so far.
We loved this resort! It has the most beautiful views overlooking the ocean. There was Starbucks in the resort along with a restaurant and bar. The food was really good, the customer service at the counter was really good, everything was clean, and the beach was steps away. A couple downsides that didnt reduce the enjoyability was that there is a $39 a day per room resort fee, and then a $39 a day parking fee per vehicle. The resort fee does come with beach chairs which was amazing. Much better than dragging chairs to the beach or laying on a towel. The 2 things I didnt love about our room is that the doors to the bathroom didnt lock and there is no fan in the bathroom. They have sliding doors which doesnt give much of a sound barrier either.
It was the service that made the difference! Ashley and Jason in the Tiki bar - THANK YOU! You two rocked. And to Kevin, the front of house Manager at the 30/30 Ocean Restaurant - you sir go way above and beyond (and kudos to the Chef, seriously some of the best meals Ive ever had out! THANK YOU ALL!!!!
This review is of the resort staff and on site restaurant. After being charged double (nearly $500) and not being able to reach anyone at the resort’s on site restaurant, Sea Level, I had to speak with several of the resort staff. One was helpful (Arkeda - sorry if misspelled) and one, Rachel, was extremely rude and unhelpful (until I told her I was writing her name down, then she magically became polite). Marissa at Sea Level said she would have this issue resolved within a couple of days but it’s been nearly a month and I have yet to hear back from her or anyone else. I can’t believe I have to go to such lengths to simply get someone on the phone to speak to about this issue. You made an error, just fix it! Unnecessary headache. So glad I know to never stay at this resort or dine at this restaurant again. 3 star quality, at best.
Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach is a great place to stay. If your looking to relax, they have a secluded beach and amenities abound. Quality staff who are extremely well trained and service oriented. If your looking for nightlife or dining your a fifteen minute walk from the the strip. My only suggestion for improvement would be the quality of their food... slightly better than bar food at a high price. I don’t mind getting paying for quality, but the value has to meet the price.
Fantastic service & beautifully clean. Amazing resort that I would visit again
HORRIBLE SERVICE at the hotel restaurant. In particular, the restaurant manager, Kevin Drummond was very rude and inconsiderate to my mother and I. We walked in and saw an empty couch (not even a dinner table) for 20 minutes with only empty glasses and water. Then out of no where a crazy drunk lady walked in claiming the couch was hers. This rude guest was clearly DRUNK. Kevin Drummond failed to do anything about it. Mr. Drummond is probably one of the worst managers I have ever encountered. The hotel management will be contacted about this unfortunate incident.
I stayed at the Marriot and went to the hotel restaurant. Unfortunately, the menu selection was very limited. Additionally, the wait staff and restaurant manager Kevin Drummond provided subpar service. I do not recommend this restaurant.
Rooms were not that good..A/c in my room wasnt working ...Other than that all staff was really good, patient and helpful..
This place is wonderful! Very professional and hospitable. Great service, good people. Beautiful beach view from the room and comfortable beds!
Great staff. Great location. Good food.
Great location across from the best beach in Fort Lauderdale. Awesome service with Covid awareness. Night life in the area.
Beach and pool area was amazing. Restaurants super expensive. Rooms are average.
As a loyal guest and Marriott member who has been coming to this property for 25 years, I was very disappointed. Customer service was non existent. When I asked for a manager to speak with at check out I was told by the young man that I could speak with him. When I tried to explain why I was upset, he admonished me for not complaining sooner and argued about everything I said. I was there for 3 nights and chose not to spend half the time trying to get a new room. I assume, as a guest and a loyal Marriott member, who paid a premium for an ocean front room that I was given the best room possible. There were cigarette butts on my balcony. Two of my local friends met me for a spa day which was also a disappointment. Not the service I remember.
Rude staff. Make up policies on the fly. Would not recommend this resort.
Our suite had a stunning view of the pool side and ocean. The room was very clean and extremely spacious. We will be coming back again!
The AC is broken in BOTH our rooms on the 3rd floor. The hotel is overpriced. They make you pay an outrageous resort fee. The self parking is way overpriced. The lady at the front desk is rude. No rollaway beds. Not helpful with anything. Would never stay here again. Mainly because we got two rooms with broken ACs and they were not up here immediately to fix them after sweating ALL night.
We had a wonderful time. Staff were helpful and kind.
On arrival the attendant at the check in counter was unprofessional. Clearly had an attitude and short with her responses to my questions. The room was ok, however the balcony was way too small. Breakfast at the on-site restaurant was below standards, food was bland for such high cost. The worst experience was at the beach. I paid $250 for the use of a cabana for the entire day. Front row so that I have a clear sight of the beach. I was told that the max chairs were 4 in addition to the cabana use. The patrons next to me had a total of 10 people(not spring breakers), hence the beach chairs were now partially blocking my view of the beach. I shared this with an attendant, needless to say nothing was done. The patrons were loud, cursing, visible had way too much to drink and very disruptive with no staff oversight. It was the most uncomfortable couple of hours I had to endure. For such a high cost there needs to be more oversight. I also asked for additional towels and never got them. I placed drink orders and had to get up to ask an attendant an hour later, only to be told “ I forgot”. My weekend getaway fell short of my expectations from this hotel brand. At such a high cost overall .... management needs a better handle on customer service. Not sure if I will return.
Extremely friendly staff. Clean rooms. Cleaning service lacking due to COVID. Close to many restaurants. Car rental recommended though.
This Hotel did not disappoint. Close to shops and restaurants. Wonderful private, clean beach with great service and plenty of comfy chairs (Keanu) was very attentive. Food was excellent and prompt. Great open fireside spaces to take in the ocean views at night. The room was very clean and cool with a great ocean view. Fun atmosphere in the lobby. We loved the steel drums and fresh complementary fruit drinks. It was a welcome reprieve from sub zero Temps in Denver.
Great place to stay. Everything you need is right there on the premises. Breakfast was the Bomb as well. Rooms were a bit small but pretty clean.
We travel to Fort Lauderdale every year. On our stay at this hotel we encountered a bad experience. First, check in was at 4pm, we did not get in our room until after 5pm (which was fine because of COVID). Once in the room it was full of bugs on the wall, from the entrance, bathroom, room to the balcony (balcony was acceptable as it was outside). When we called to inform, the first representative was aggressive and yelling at us, not wanting to change our room. He then handed the phone over to another person who the first thing they did was yell at us, not wanting to help at all (I did ask both not to yell at me while I was calm). We were told noting could be done and we had to stay in the room. I had to go to the front desk, where I was changed to another room. The new room was fine and no bugs. But what we want to get to is, how can a Marriott have this happen?
This oceanfront hotel is 2 miles from the shops and nightclubs of lively Las Olas Boulevard, and 4 miles from the Broward Center for the Performing Arts
This hotel was AMAZING! Very Clean. The food in the restaurant was delish. The staff was very friendly.
Beautiful place. Very clean and elegant.
Not the first time going to Marriott Harbor. A few years back this was an new and quiet hotel with very new flooring, facilities, etc. Now the place is packed and for good reason. Includes exercise equipment, pool, basketball, tennis, and of course the beach! Food and drinks are a little pricey, however the hotel is great. Very kid-friendly with events and movies around Christmas time. Gorgeous lights and trees at night, and beautiful sunrises. Ideal spot for a family getaway in Ft. Lauderdale.
Very nice hotel. We had lunch here before checking into Lago Mar Resort. Staff accommodated our special food requests. You will love this hotels menu.
Booked via BonVoy using my points as I have done at Marriotts all over. Had the points in my account to book. Then they were gone. Checked in as normal with nothing said about the points. Didnt really expect anything said, unless there was a problem. Again nothing was said.Upon checking out I was charged for the room a whopping $818.00 plus tax.I never would have stayed if I had to pay cash. Plus, read your invoice closely because I was overcharged for parking.Quite frankly, upon checkin I should have been told of an issue with my reservation.Note to self...Never use BonVoy app to book with points. It failed me along with this hotel.
I was a day guest at the Spa. I absolutely loved the spa and the people working there. They treated me very well and the service was incredible. I had a Swedish massage with hot stones. I forgot the name of my masseuse but she had some what of an English accent I believe, she did a great job. Please keep that wonderful customer service, I will be back.
I stayed at the Harbor Beach Marriot 2 weeks ago and went to the hotel restaurant but I was disappointed by the service of the hotel manager, Kevin Drummond. He was very abrasive towards my friends and I. When I ask for help him and his staff ignored me until I walked up to them. At that point I received service but it should have never taken me having to walk up to them. STAY AWAY FROM THE HOTEL RESTAURANT.
I travel a lot. Disappointed with the room size, quality of bed, decor, and lack of onsite restaurants. Think old school Holiday Inn. 3 night room only stay cost $1200. Rooms need a make over. HUGE LINES to take an elevator up to your room. Forget about taking an elevator down, just take stairs if your checking out on a Sunday. Pool size should be triple given the number of rooms. We were there on a sold out weekend and it was essentially STANDING ROOM ONLY in the POOL. We went on to the beach to get elbow room. Beach chairs and towels were well spaced and available.
Nice to be in public again! Beautiful location and facility. Ate at restaurant and loved it for lunch in shade on deck
Nice hotel and very clean.. I would say a bit overpriced, one is already paying a bit too much to stay. Self parking $39 and the food is way too expensive. Luckily we brought our car and managed to eat out.
Looked great..only ate at the restaurant. But property was beautiful. Id like to stay
Very nice resort, great views from the oceanfront rooms. There is so much offered that you rarely have to leave the property for anything. The area is easy to locate with lots to do if you do choose to wander away from the resort. The only thing that would have made the stay better would have been a fridge in the room for my White Claw :)
Not that impressive. Listen they ask what would you like? I say two towels and two pillows that’s not here I called to remind them still waiting. Room 72?!! REALLY? I want cooler. Still waiting!! Ask for” in advance “ ocean view. Ok I didn’t get it but really someone’s back yard. I thought this was harbor view. Where is the harbor. Not worth it. No way!!!!
I stayed here in 2019 and we loved it, was looking to stay again this year but the price per night has increased dramatically:(
One of the best resort in Fort Lauderdale, we enjoyed the pool and beach resort. Here the Staff is very friendly.
Great views! Food not bad on the order of traditional bar food. Drinks $$$.
