I have been in the Bank of America Building in Fort Lauderdale since I started practicing law here. First, I was with a large, national firm that has its own floor in the building. When I decided it was time for me to start my own firm, I did not want to leave the building. So I rented executive space with Carr. I have been here for 2 and 1/2 years and it has been fantastic. Its basically turnkey, high-end office space--- fully furnished, all utilities, internet, phones, parking, etc. Everything is included on one invoice as part of your monthly lease payment. Beyond the space, Carr also has a staff that runs the floor: There is a receptionist who can answer your calls and route them to the appropriate person in your company. And there is an outstanding general manager who is here on-site every day to address any issues or concerns.In my view, it is an excellent option for smaller companies that dont need thousands of square feet. You get turnkey office space in a fantastic location and in the best building downtown. Beyond that, there are a ton of great people/companies on the floor. Its become a great part of my network.
