Lou and Brian are exceptional. They are professional, fun, knowledgeable, and incredible fishermen. They will put you in the right spots, to have the best shots, at some big time fish. I have brought clients down several times and everyone returns with nothing but lifetime experiences and first class things to say about the Hooked Up II and her crew.

Lou and Brian are incredible. Ive never been on a charter anywhere in the world where I felt like that team was the best fisherman on the water. If you want your best shot and catching quality fish look no further. I caught my first white marlin and my first blue marlin fishing with they guys.

Best charter weve ever had!! Captain Mike and Danny are first class personable, knowledgeable and fun! No time wasted just great fishing!!! Highly recommend these guys! We caught everything imaginable... Mahi, black fin tuna, king mackerel and even a LBS(little brown shark) No sailfish today but well be back another day to try again.... Thats why they call it FISHING not catching. Great time, thanks again guys!!

Great guys and really good fishing. Captain Mike and his mate Danny are very patient, friendly, fun and great at what they do. We had a group of work clients go with us and they had a blast! Caught black fin tuna, king mackerel and lots of mahi. Will definitely be booking again soon.

Cannot say enough about how comfortable and easy Captain Taco made the booking process. I had multiple boats chartered on different days, and my family and friends could not have been happier.I had the pleasure of fishing with Captain Lou and Brian on both days I went out. They immediately made us feel like family and we had a great and successful fishing trip. We caught a big Amberjack, a bunch of Blackfin Tuna, a few Snapper, multiple sharks over 5, and a bunch of Kings and Bonita..... Amazing time, we will certainly book next year!

I had the best first fishing trip imaginable. The crew was great and fishing partners were real champs. I caught a 92 sail fish and am having it mounted. The crew did an excellent job being positive and yet not raising expectations beyond reason. I would use Hooked Up anytime I go again.

My party had a fabulous time aboard Lous Hooked Up 2! Fathers Day proved to be great for weather and fishing. Noodles was very knowledgeable and taught fishing tips as the trip progressed. I absolutely suggest these guys for your next sport fishing excursion. Looking forward to going back out with them!

We chartered Hooked Up II for a full day, just my husband and myself. Our crew was Captain Lou and mates Brian and Steve. It was something we had been looking forward to, this is our second annual quick right after Christmas trip to Fort Lauderdale. Our hotel room overlooks the marina, last year we were boat shopping for ourselves (we’re from NJ) so we didn’t get to go fishing but knew we’d be back and planned to go with those great guys from Hooked Up! We did exactly that this year. Yes it’s a bit off season, last day of grouper season (12/31) and prior weather hadn’t been great, but we got lucky today!!! The weather was fantastic, we started off bait fishing, nothing like fresh live bait! We hooked up a 7’ nurse shark, a 6’+ sail fish, and a behemoth mutton snapper and of course that infamous ______ that got away!!! Lol Our first time ever catching a sail fish and a mutton!!! The guys from Hooked Up II really know what they’re doing and super nice. Being a mom mom I was very comfortable with this crew. My husband picked their brains about a lot things that were gonna try in South Jersey!! There was 1 downside, no hoodies available to buy!!! I need a hoodie Lou! I collect them plus it’s great to wear to show off my southern fishing excursions back up north! It’s cold up there! If you’re looking to fish with professionals who really know what their doing, Lou and his crew from Hooked Up are the ones you want to go with. My husband and I have fished for a long time, we know these guys know what their doing! It was a great day!!!

They ran out of bait after one fish. Six hour charter caught one fish and then blamed us for not catching any bait fish to use to fish with — really talk about a bait and switch. First charter that blamed clients for not having bait - after you where out on the water. Happy to take our $800 put only two rods out for 6 people and then blame us for not having bait. Lots of options out there find another one. Don’t get ripped off.

I just got to ft lauderdale 2 days ago from Ohio,my first time out on a boat for deep sea fishing,(I’m scared of the water) I cannot day enough good things about this captain and his crew,we had a group of 5 on his very large comfortable and air conditioned boat,felt very safe with him,this guy had us ALL on fish all day fish after fish,double hookups, awesome experience..I highly recommend and will be back this winter to fish with him again.

Had a good experience going sports fishing with Captain Taco`s team. Total 4 hour trip (approx. 1 hour spent traveling to and from marina) - first hour or so we spent trying to catch bait. Next hour or so we were bottom fishing around a wreck and last hour we trolled around. Our group caught two amberjack`s - one weighing 30lbs and the other weighing 40lbs. The crew was nice and we got to keep what we caught - Joe was even kind enough to fillet our fish into beautiful steaks for us. Beware of 6% credit card fee and that a 20% gratuity is expected.
