I just called them, and and spoke to this guy I ask if they were honest and he said they try to be. So I said what do you mean are you honest or not? Then he said whats wrong with car so I told him and I ask before I bring it in because Im a female and I have been taken advantage of by many mechanics before. And you guys are honest right? He say again I try to be. So long story short I wont be taking my car here despite all the positive reviews. At least hes honest about not being honest.

Great experience here. They got me in and out quickly. I initially took my car in to get a second opinion on something another shop quoted me on. Turns out the first shop quoted me for something that wasnt even wrong. Wales told me what was actually wrong and ended up saving me over $300 what i was gonna pay the first shop. Will be back here in the future if i have car trouble! Recommended

This is the place you want to go to have your vehicle repaired. Ben is super knowledgeable and just great. Everyone else I interacted with seemed happy to be working there. Top tier quality work, punctuality, and communication. If the scope of work fails outside of the original estimate they call you so you can approve the work. I can’t speak highly enough of this place.

I was approx. 50 miles from home (I live in West Palm Beach), when the check engine light came on and the car was shaking each time I stopped at a traffic light...from prior experience I knew most likely one of the coil packs had gone bad... looked for car repair places near where I was... Wales Garage was 7 miles away and I liked the 4.7 star rating...called up and told them about my problem...they told me I could come by and that the repair would take approx. 2 hrs. Due to heavy rain my boyfriend and I were given a ride to an eatery 2 blocks away. I was informed of the price prior to the repair and was promptly called as soon as the car was done...Truly awesome service... I would give 6 stars if that was possible...highly recommend Wales Garage to anybody and wish it was closer to home so I could get all my repairs done there....THANK YOU!!!!

EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONSI brought my 15 year old, low-mileage vehicle to Wales due to the overwhelming odor of gasoline and a check engine light. Ben was funny, professional, and gave me complete comfort that my car would be diagnosed completely. By early the following morning, Ben called to let me know that it would be necessary to remove the fuel tank which I approved. Within a few hours, Ben called again to give me choices of what to authorize and an cost to repair. Within a few hours after that, Ben called a 3rd time to tell me the vehicle was ready to be picked up. The communication was thorough, and the cost was as quoted. I felt comfortable that the work done was exactly what was required, and I wholeheartedly recommend without reservation this company.

I brought my Subaru to Wales Garage Ben provided a honest repair cost substantially less than the dealership. The vehicle was fixed right the first time. I was able to pick up the vehicle the same day. If you want your car to last bring it to Wales Garage ben’s team truly cares about the people and vehicles they repair. This repair shop is very good and trustworthy. My car almost caught on fire with a gas leak. Ben was great and super nice. Hard to find a great car repair shop but they go above and beyond. I even got offered a ride to my hotel. Thank you again Ben.

Ben and the other people have set the standard for what a great car shop is. I think one of the biggest factors in choosing a good mechanic is transparency of cost, service, and what should/should not be fixed.I originally got my 335i in 2015 and Ive been coming here since day 1. That very day, Ben told me if I didnt get the tire warranty with the purchase that I should because these cars such up nails.Long story short. I went back, got it, and since owning the car lost 5 tires to nails and debris. He saved me 1000s in tire cost alone. Hes also given great advice on maintenance and tuning and honestly if I ever had a go to guy that I really trusted for cars, its this guy.Do yourself a favor and come to this shop you wont regret it

Great shop!! Ben and his guys are definitely good at what they do!! Honest, trustworthy, forthcoming and wont try and charge you for anything you dont unnecessarily need. They also dont push you to buy from them... For example Ben said to me I dont care if you get it done here... but please just get it done for your own safety. To sum it up great shop, great guys, great work. But thats just my opinion.

I took my mother-in-laws overheating Subaru there because of all the great reviews. Just as advertised, Ben was very nice. I told Ben that I had tested the car and that it had a blown head gasket. He immediately told me that it was probably not the head gasket and that he would test it. I figured it wouldnt hurt so I said okay. He called later that day and said that the problem was the radiator was blocked and would need to be replaced. Ben said, he tested the head gasket and that it was fine. That didnt seem right, but I said okay. The bill for the radiator replacement came to over $600. Two weeks later the car started overheating again. We took the car back. This time a different mechanic checked it since Ben was on vacation. He determined that the head gasket was bad. They charged over $2500 for the head gasket replacement. I asked about the radiator replacement and this time Ben said that the radiator had a leak and needed to be replaced anyway. Which was it, did the radiator have a leak or was it blocked?I asked about the double labor I was being charged. Ben refused to give me any credit for the previous work. He said, he had expenses to pay and couldnt give me credit for any unnecessary repairs they had done.When the head gasket was replaced, we picked up the car and it immediately ran very rough. We took it back and Ben charged us for replacing the ignition wires. We again picked it up and it was still running rough. Ben said that the ignition wires were due to be replaced anyway. We took it back and Ben worked on it for several more days.It is still not running well but we will never take it back to Wales Garage. They are nice, they may be honest, but Ben is not a very good mechanic in my opinion. If you give him enough time and money, I think he could fix most things. I will not give him any more of my money or time.

The alternator in my truck failed and I had it towed from where I work to Wales Garage. I needed to have my truck back the same day. Stuart and his crew were very friendly, professional and fast. They were able to have the new part installed and I was back on the road within a few hours.

BEN IS A SCAM, Do not drop your car off if you dont want to be taken for a ride. I brought car in told him I needed him to replace 2 parts. He tells me its going to take 260$ and 2 hours to diagnose what I already said, it needs 2 certain parts, he then began to berate me and use vulgar language on phone and tell me the 10 mins has on phone he has paying customers hes rather deal with, with that being said clearly he has no intention on salvaging me as a customer because he hangs up on me and tells me come get my car, what was supposed to be 300$ has trying to tax 260$ to just look at car, another 250$ for parts and 300 $ to install, Scam, the part takes 15 mins to replace, I shouldve known he was a RIP off when he exclaimed he was 40,000$ into his personal car he built that is the same car I dropped off... Im sure he added in his astronomical labor fees to that cost, all in all ben is a Scam artist who preys off the average consumer who knows nothing about their car, it seems the moment he realized I already knew what was wrong he didnt want to do a fair honest job, this guy has a huge mechanic egoPart 2: Just came to get car Ben kicked me out of shop after asking if I knew what was wrong why did I bring it in, to which I responded Your the mechanic I pay you to get your hands dirty, the look on his face Scammer who couldnt not complete his scam, if you want to be ripped off and cursed and yelled at come to Wales garage

Ive taken my Impreza here twice now and I love the service and the quality of work. Ben definitely knows his Subarus, and has only done the work needed without trying to up-sell me on a stuff I dont.Each time I came in with an issue I got the car back in great shape, problems resolved, and at a reasonable price. This is the only place in S. Florida Ill be taking my car to.

Exactly what I was looking for!

Although I have never been to this shop and cannot provide an honest opinion regarding service, I can report that the response I received over the phone did not leave a good impression at all. I called to schedule a major service and alignment on my 4x4 truck, after mentioning that the truck had a slight suspension lift like many other trucks do, the gentlemen on the other end of the phone abruptly cut me off and said I dont do modified vehicles, I dont touch them at all!? If they didnt have the required equipment I understand that, but no need to be rude with a potential customer. I called another shop in Fort Lauderdale that also had good ratings and they were able to accomidate me without complication. My suggestion for Wales Garage is to slow down a bit and consider how you respond to customers. In this case I would have spent about $900 at this shop instead of a competitor. Either way, there are a number of good auto shops for customers to choose from and Wales isnt the first and only option.

I own 2 Subarus and was looking for a honest place to take my vehicles, a place where they know Subarus, do good work at a reasonable price and most importantly a place where they are honest. I took my WRX in and I cant be any happier. They did a great job and were very honest and upfront. I love the fact that they know my type of car, too. They might not be the cheapest place around or the most expensive, but they do a great work and I dont mind paying for peace of mind. I took my cars to cheaper places and even to the Subaru Dealership and it was always a waste of time and money. I recommend Wales Garage to anyone wanting to get their vehicles fixed right the first time. They are honest, reasonable and they know what they are doing. They been in business for over 50 years for a reason.

Ben and the team over at Wales Garage knows exactly what they are doing. I went in with an issue with the shifter and Ben knew exactly what was wrong just by my description and his experience. The time slot I was given was exact and the turn around time for my car was short. I left with my shifter feeling brand new on a 21 year old car.
