Horrible scheduling experience with Taiwanese who could not comprehend English. They kept repeating their script over and over again. It took 5 telephone calls over 5 days to get an appointment. I lost all my food in my refrigerator and had to live out of coolers for 11 days before a technician arrived to replace the compressor.
The tech was competent and professional. The scheduling process was inflexible and insensitive to the customers needs. We were made to wait for ten days without a refrigerator because they could not have the part delivered and the second visit scheduled any sooner. Sears was far more expensive than their local competition. I will not use them again.
They didnt show up or call
I did not approved the service even though I was charged right away in a Saturday. Almost 2 months later, and more than a month of refund was approved I still did not received my money back $277. Order number 000743542293609. Every call I have to explain all over again. Tired of apologies.
Worst company don’t trust
Explain to them that as an owner of the property I’m not in town very often I would pay online they discussed that it wouldn’t be a problem I told him a tenant would be home for the service technician now scheduled a whole week pass by the day of the service the technician refused to come even though the tenant was home because I wasn’t there to give him my credit card in person told him I discussed it was Sears and they said I could pay online he canceled my appointment and left me hanging with a leaky refrigerator when the tenants need functioning refrigerators I would never recommend Sears I was on hold for 45 minutes per customer service not to do anything to help me Found a reputable repair man D.N.J. refrigerator repair they came out the same hour fixed it charge me only $95 in total they were amazing professional courteous and understanding very well praise and took no time to come out and handle the problem for me that’s the company I recommend
The absolute WORST EVER! They kept changing my appointment days after Id taken the day off and insisted I take ANOTHER day off instead of keeping the appointment they promised. THEY DONT CARE and I will NEVER use them again! The owner reached out on here asking me to contact her via email. STILL NO RESPONSE! THAT is how much they care! NOTHING!
Tech was a nice guy, but unprepared for the job...looked on his phone and called for instructions many times. SHAME ON SEARS for not better training their technicians. I could have watched YouTube on my own and saved $500 in LABOR. The issue was not resolved with my refrigerator following his visit. I called Sears back on this 1 HOUR!! after the tech left and they offered me an appointment 5 days from the original repair. INEXCUSABLE AND UNACCEPTABLE!! Sears customer service is some of the worst I have ever seen. I will be disputing my OUTRAGEOUS labor charge, reporting this to the BBB and sharing Sears lack of care and service to everyone I can. This is unacceptable! Also, my new part comes with a 90 day warranty, but the original part had a 10 year warranty?? Seems a bit skewed....Are you installing used equipment? DO NOT waste my time replying with a standard “we’re sorry blah blah”. I want an real answer and explanation as to why this was handled so poorly!UPDATE 6/12: My refrigerator has now been out of service for 24 days! I spent additional time contacting the Sears Social (WE DONT) Care Team as they requested in their response. All of this to receive a lousy response claiming there is nothing they can do. WHY? It is evident they did not want this shared publicly, so I took the liberty to assist. I am now awaiting my 5th service visit, scheduled for June 17th. This is unacceptable! Also worth noting, my refrigerator is 3.5 years old and still under warranty Stay tuned...
The driver was very good at his job he had a very good P.R.
Cant call on phone. When you go there a sign says they do not repair lawnmowers there and they give you a number for Sears that also cant help you. A company that was built on service and now offers none will not be around much longer. Dont waste your time
Your Technician that you sent out was A1 and I am not just saying this because this young man did an EXCELLENT job. My wife and I are very happy with his work and what he did. In order in keeping workers like him you must continue to tell them What A Great Job He or She is Doing and a Raise In Pay wouldnt hurt. Thanks again.
Three stars; the report: some good / some not so good. The repair was under warranty. The compressor on a 2 year and 11 month old refrigerator which was under a 3 year maintenance contract, died. (Whew!!) I called Sears warranty services and a local service company came out promptly and diagnosed the problem. The two missing stars is for the bumbling and bobbling in the supply chain to get a new compressor to me. It took just over three months to get the refrigerator back into service. The first compressor was delivered to the service company after about six weeks of waiting. It was the wrong model. The remainder of the seven more weeks was spent waiting and calling Sears for help. It finally arrived. Obviously, we needed a refrigerator before 3 months elapsed. I purchased a new refrigerator as soon as the service company indicated that the compressor was not a stock item with Sears. (Good question: why not??) Ultimately, I have two refrigerators now. One 3 months old and one 3 years and 3 months old.Yes, the repair was made about 10 days ago and all seems well, again.
The service man arrived right on time and I had received a call ahead of time. He replaced the part very quickly and tested the washer to make sure that it was working correctly. There was no mess left behind and he was very pleasant. I am very happy with the service I received.Joyce Russell
This is the fourth service call in three weeks to fix my refrigerator. My refrigerator and freezer are over 80 degrees inside and I have been unable to use it at all for almost a month now. I had a service call scheduled for today and because the Sears rep who made the appointment, did so incorrectly, the technician is not coming today and the earliest they can reschedule is for July 1st. That means over a month with no working refrigerator and I have a Sears Master Protection Agreement. When the Sears rep made the appointment for today, they put on the order that there was a $75 diagnostic fee. After I received the confirmation, I called Sears right back (June 23rd) and advised the Sears rep that I have a Sears Master Protection Agreement and there are no diagnostic fees. The rep confirmed that I was covered by the agreement and said there would not be a charge and no need to worry about the repair order, it would be handled today. So today, I get a call from the repair tech and because my order reflects a charge (does not show the master services agreement), the tech will not come to my home to repair the refrigerator and now I had to call three different numbers to re-book for the earliest available visit of July 1st. I am beyond angry at this point. The repair tech should have been here today or reschedule for tomorrow at the latest. Having a non-working refrigerator/freezer for this length of time is beyond ridiculous. I am an extremely unsatisfied customer.
I am always pleased with Sears service technicians. The recent repair on washing machine went great. On time service from a top-notch pro.Love you guys. Keep up the good work!
Nice Service Person, but didnt know the model that we have and couldnt answer detailed questions (reverse osmosis, filter choices). Asked if we wanted the wheels locked and we thought that would be ok. But he didnt check to see if the fridge would move when opening the doors. When he left we checked and you cant open the freezer section without holding on to the fridge because it will roll.
The tech knew what he was doing when replacing the water filter housing, but when he put the filter cartridge in, I had to tell him how to turn and attach the cartridge handle so it would lock the filter in place. Everything is working appropriately now.I was not happy, however, with the ambiguity regarding the cost of labor and how the minimum $95 service charge was supposedly applied to the labor costs. The tech gave me a price for labor of $219. which seemed outrageously high for this job, but then when he gave me the itemized receipt for the repair, it showed the $95 fee under labor costs as separate from the $124 labor charge for replacing the water filter housing. So it appears that the $95 fee didnt go towards reducing the cost of the labor for the repair as my work order confirmation form said it would. I called Sears Customer customer care solutions about this and the rep. said the receipt she had on her computer only showed the total $219 charge for labor not the separate charges that I had. She said that the $95 had been applied to the cost of labor, which would have even been higher without it. I had to take her word for that because there was nothing to indicate on my bill that the $95 was applied toward the labor or cost of the parts. I have been a loyal Sears customer for 25+ years and this is the first time that I wasnt satisfied with the answer and resolution to my question.
The tech was excellent. Efficient, informative, thorough. However the lower storage drawer needs further repair or replacement. He added his findings to his report. Id like to know what the next step is and when this will be done.Robert Maiorino
Technicians were efficient and friendly. Completed my repair in less than one hour and left no trash or debris behind. They had me check the work to be sure I was satisfied.
All good. Efficient communications. Easy to set up. Alerts before arrival. On time. Top notch diagnostics. Fixed in first visit. There are potentially cheaper options. I tried one and it was a waste of time and money. From here on, I will rely on Sears until I have a reason not to.
We received great service! The technician was on time, courteous and professional. Within just a few minutes, he fixed the problem, and gave some great advice. We were also pleased with the charge for his services.
Really great service. Came at the time allotted. The tech guy was super nice. Reasonable price. Fixed the problem exactly. Awesome experience.
The warranty service to replace the belt on my treadmill was excellent. Unfortunately, the console must be replaced, because one of the speed buttons is responding very poorly. However, I have no doubt that Sears will come through and address this issue within the time period they represented.
Richard my service tech was great! He called to let me know he was on his way. All great on that end and my dryer was fixed!! The issue was Calling the main number at Sears to set up an appt. It took several calls to finally get Sears to contact this local Sears Appl Repair center! They used another company in Coral Springs who was HORRIBLE! They set up an appt but never showed!! This was set up 3 times!! I wish I would have Called Sears Appliance Center first! I have their direct number. Next time I will call them and set my appointment as they were customer service friendly and was very helpful and really great to work with! Thank you Richard from Sears Appliance Center!
Buyer Beware: LG refrigerator Ice maker had stopped working: The tech worked very hard and came twice to diagnose, order new parts, then replace old parts with new. At first the ice maker seemed to be working and produced 1 batch of ice; however, after that it stopped working completely - no water going into the tray and no ice being produced. When I called for service they couldnt schedule the tech for 14 more days. I even called the tech on his phone and got no response to the message I left. So far I have paid $346 with no results and by the time the 3rd service call rolls around, it will be 3 1/2 weeks. Will not be using Sears Home Maintenance again once they have finished the job.
I always feel comfortable calling on Sears for repairs. However this last time the repair did not fix the problem. I am calling them to come back. I am hoping they wave the repair fee since it was not fixed the first visit.
The technician was very thorough and knowledgeable. He explained what he was doing as he made the repair. He was friendly. I give him a 10 (which is good) for his visit.
The repairman needed a part to fix the problem but when he discovered he did not have the part in his truck he first suggested that i would have to make another appointment but when i mentioned i was leaving town shortly and that would be difficult he said that he would drive back to a supply center 40 minutes away.and get the part. He did that and the repair was completed that day. I admired his extra effort.
The service was prompt and he went the extra mile to make sure the repair was made and that my maintenance was up to date. Great Service!
I was scheduled for service between 8:00 am to 1:00 pm but the tech never showed. He called at 2:00 pm and told me he was running late and would be at my place by 4:00 pm. He didnt make that appointment either. I finally canceled and rescheduled for between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm the next day. Which meant I wasted the whole day waiting for the tech today and had to stay home all day waiting for the tech again the next day.The reason Im giving the rating of 3 in stead of 0 is because I was the tech arrived at my house at 08:30 the next morning. And I was very satisfied with the services he performed at that time. I will use this service again but I hope they can find a way to prevent no-shows in the future. Thanks.
Excellent service and attention from Reggie. Left everything clean and did a super job. Gave good advice for the future.
My technician arrived on time. He was both knowledgeable and courteous. I appreciate his respect and demeanor. He was als helpful in ordering new racks for the oven. He is a credit to Sears Customer Care.
On time, efficient, knowledgeable, clean - couldnt have asked for better. Funny too.
Both my Kitchen Aid refrigerator and stove needed repair. The refrigerated needed the ice maker repaired, said it would cost $500. The stove off button would not turn off when pressed. We were told it would cost $600. REALLY!!! What we got out of the service was -$150. and the realization that all Sears wants us to do is to go back and buy more appliances from them. That I will not do. I am tired of buying expensive appliances and bottom line were lucky if they last 6 years. Bye-bye Sears.
We called on a Friday and they showed up on a Saturday less than 24 hours and fixed my dryer showed me the parts that were broken vacuumed cleaned and did a wonderful job for a fair price I love Sears
After the initial visit to assess the problem, I had to wait over 6 weeks until the refrigerator was finally repaired. Previous repair calls with Sears services have been completed within a week of the initial call. After the repair wires are hanging out of the unit where no wires were visible before. The tech was courteous, but the service was disappointing - not what I had come to expect from Sears, particularly with the expense of a service contract.
Fast response. Parts were not available for repair therefore a new washer was delivered to replace our washer. Very happy with new machine and highly recommend Sears Appliance repair.
This gentleman was timely, professional, and very knowledgeable. He even had the part on him. After waiting a month sure to the prior tech from another Sears Repair contractor, this gentleman was a night in shining armor.
My washer was not correctly hooked up at the bleach dispenser area.It was a manufacturer mistake. Not Sears putting it in. All the bleach I have been putting in has been dripping on the floor and leg of washer for years. In having my protection plan had them come out to see whats up with wet area in front. First guy very nice. Found out what was going on. Couldnt believe it but saw with my own eyes. But didnt report it correctly so had to have another guy come out to check and report it the right way to get some replacements done. The left leg of the washer was completely rusted from all this bleach dripping on it for years. The other side was amazing beautiful. Rust not of my doing or fault or old age, but because dispenser not connected. AND the second guy pulled out the bleach dispenser( which didnt need to be) and cracked it as well as made an awful mess with the rust that was on top in the washer around the edge of dispensor. Which was not much seen at that time. Now it looks horrible. AND because he put rust and not why it is rusted they dismiss me. Put a call out to tech manager which agency said was my next step and no response back so far. So a situation that I though was just so ridiculous that it wasnt made correctly is now a situation I am upset about. Apparently you do not stand by the appliances you sell to be made correctly. I have been a customer for many years, but if this doesnt get resolved in a agreed manner I will not ever go back into SEars for ANYTHING. And I will spread the news on how I was treated.
Very disappointed. I contacted Sears to notify them that the dryer vent was likely clogged and needed cleaning. When the service person showed to perform the service, he told me that Sears does not do this type of work. Why didnt Sears notify me upon my initial contact regarding the issue? Instead, you charged me a service call just to let me know you do not perform the service requested. I have numerous appliances from Sears along with the service maintenance agreements. This is my first negative experience.
The technician identified the problem quickly but although there was a broken piece it didnt seem crucial because he didnt replace it. Hope its going to last. He was very courteous a little late but everything fine.
The Sears Technician who responded did an EXCELLENT job. My family was very pleased with his expertise in repairing our Range. Way to go Sears Tech.
There warranty department is terrible
Technician was punctual and repaired washer skillfully..
Scheduled an appointment and was told it would cost $79 for the repair man to inspect the washer and provide the diagnostic report. The repair man showed up in a timely manner and notified us over the phone when he was on the way. After he looked over the washer, he said my floor was week and that we would need to relocate the washer to a room with concrete flooring. The total fee was $94. He charged $15 extra and listed weak floor as the diagnosis. So overall, I was charged $94 dollars to be told that my washroom wooden beams are creaking and that my washer is fine. Disappointing about the extra fee and it was not worth the money.
When your air conditioner dies in the middle of the night in the middle of July in South Florida, you want a company who is reliable and shows up. I made an appointment online and Ron showed up that morning and fixed the problem. I know there must be other reputable companies out there, but I always rely on Sears because they have always been there when I need them.
Your Tech Ray Nunez was amazing. He is honest and told me and showed me how your tech from 3 years ago misinstalled my Oven so that it is now pulling out of the cabinet and ruining the cabinet trim. The oven was NEVER leveled and sits on the drawer beneath it - a disaster!!! I have a 5 year Master Protection Agreement and got a huge argument when I called for service now. They kept sending me to the Phillipines 2-3x. The mistake became more and more apparent over time. Ray told me to contact Corporate and ask for them to pay for the cabinet repair and reinstall the oven. If you get a tech like Ray all is great. But if you get the first man who came, FORGET IT!!
On time, clean and [polite service man. Very plaesed!
Michael Hughes did a thorough job of servicing my treadmill on April 13, 2017. I always trust Michael to do a good job.
Terrible experience. I will never use Sears Appliance Repair again - the service technician billed me $250 and did not fix anything. In fact, my invoice says, Appliance not repairable. Why should I pay Sears a dime to tell me my appliance is broken? Ridiculous. When I called to complain they offered me a 10% discount on my next purchase from Sears. Thanks a lot, but there will be no next purchase.
Absolutely top-notch! Very useful advice given to help maintain equipment.
He showed up right on time. Was very polite and professional. Gave us a few options. Then replaced the part and all is well.
Service tech was at my place within the widow I was promised. He was friendly and helpful giving me a hand moving my dryer which was in the garage back into laundry so we could hook it up and he could figure out was wrong with it.... This was the second time Ive had a tech to the house for this dry. The last time they replaced the drum and this time there was nothing wrong with the dryer. the tech called me into the room and demonstrated with a sheet of paper towel that the dry vent going out of the house was completely clogged. He had me hold the button while the door was left open so the dryer could run and took the exhaust house from the back of dryer and disconnected it from the wall then held the paper towel inches away from the lint catcher. I noticed a strong suction . Then he put the dryer exhaust back connecting it to the wall and held the dryer sheet the same distant as before and there was no suction. In short i had to pay a service fee but felt it was well with it because of the information learned that Ill be able to share with other. Thank you sears.
The service person who came to the appointment spent an hour checking with his supervisor and trying to get on the ph with someone in the SEARS system, and finally said the repair would be approved. After a few days I received the notice that someone would come for the work, and when it happened, it was not the repair, but another person checking it out as if it was the first time. He made a quick call and indicated it was not covered because something had dropped on the range. The first service technician had confirmed it was clearly NOT resulting from an object dropped, which I also indicated because I didnt drop anything. The second technician was impatient and didnt want to listen. He kept repeating the same line and was not interested in hearing about the previous visit of the SEARS service person. He even said nothing was in the system (!?). I was ready to renew my protection plan, even considering the all appliances plan I was offered on the phone, but after this experience I will not. I felt misled as a client.
Prompt service AC now cools like new. Very pleased with the service and results.
It was a nightmare. The gentlemen that came did not fix our problem. I rescheduled for yesterday and no one showed up and customer service just said the server was down and had no idea where the technician was or when he might be coming!!!! I spoke with a supervisor and said in this day and age with cell phones ...your techinicians are just out and about and you cannot contact them???!!! This is ridiculous and now I have paid you for a service that was not completed and I have to wait again for an appointment!!!!!! My time is important as yours is and this is just terrible terrible customer service. I am so suprised at SEARS!!!!
The young man was very polite and knowledgeable in what he was doing, however some of the paint came off the panel where the temperature of the oven and clock is.
On time. The technician seemed like he really knew what he was doing, and everything has been working great!
They dont even deserve a one star!!!My refrigerator will be 2 yrs old in January...I have been with out a refrigerator now for just a few days shy of a month. Since I needed my refrigerator for medication and formula I told them that it was important that I have this fixed asap. I was told they dont offer emergency appointments, but will call me if anyone earlier one opens up...still waiting!I happened to find an earlier one my self on line. The tech diagnosed it as a bad compressor, ordered the part and was told the next appt wouldnt be for another 2 wks. Again, I found an earlier one one line, the tch replaced my compressor and was told it would take a few hrs for it to get cold. Needless to say, the temp has been going up, NOT down. Called again, was told they would send the text back out...NO SHOW! Called again and was told the techs do not work on weekends and the next available appt will be in another 2 weeks !!!!!!!
Service was on time - as scheduled. Tipe to repair - quick. Price to repair ice maker - way too much. Cant anyone make an icemaker that works/lasts? Can you say planned failures . . . .
We needed sears now twice for a cook top and a refrigerator repair. The repair for the cook top took 3 months and the refrigerator took 2 weeks. This is way too long if you need the appliances.
Sears is the worst company in the world. They sent an uncertified technician to fix a Kenmore washer and he took five weeks and did nothing. In the end he said he wasnt even a repair man only an installer and that Sears is going out of business within the year. Sears is the worst company on the planet earth. FU$&K them all to Hell!!
Why do you give time frames for appointments if the timeframes are not going to be kept? I was given a 10:00 to 2:00 pm time frame and the guy shows up at 3:30 pm. I learned the time frame had changed to a 2:00 to 4:00 time frame by going online, not because anyone called me from Sears before 2:00. Sears knows he wasnt online ordering the dishwasher replacement part during the hours of 10:00 and 2:00 while at my home.We set up another appointment for installation when the part arrives. Time frame: 10:00 to 2:00 pm. Praying it wouldnt be with the same technician. Lost an entire day waiting in the wrong Sears time frame. As luck would have it the same tech arrived at 3:30 pm. Again, outside the time frame of 10:00 - 2:00 pm. This is the time frame we agreed uppon with him, again no apologies from the serviceman.Another day lost and this guy is on my kitchen floor @ 4:00 pm for a good twenty minutes rustling arouind in his bag, looking for a screw. Needle in a haystack came to mind. I got up and asked him what he was looking for and he told me a screw. He became very confrontational and asked me if I wanted him to leave? I said, yes and fix the dishwasher first. The machine wasnt dispensing the soap on the door. He picked himself up and marched out the door saying he was going to his truck to get the screw he needed. He also said he hoped the police hadnt towed his truck because he was parked in the street. Why do I need to know this? He left at 4:25 pm. And thank God it works! Sears is not what it used to be.
GREAT KNOWLEDGABLE TECHNICIONS GIVING GREAT DEPENDABLE COURTEOUS SERVICE. OSCAR AND ORLANDO WERE GREAT GUYS.
The gentleman who came to do the repair was prompt, fast and even tightened the handles on the frig. without me asking.
So far, two repair calls, and hundreds of dollars later and washing machine still doesnt work. And, it is only a little over a year old.Hoping third repair visit is the charm.
My service on 5/31/17 was a re-call for ineffective service received 5/18/17. The technician was courteous but declared that my problem wasnt the part replaced on 5/18/17. He declared that my dryer was not repairable. Suggested that I call for a refund on that service from 5/18. This has become a nightmare. I will always try to NOT use Sears service if possible. They charge $79 just to come out and then if they actually do anything its another $100+ for labor alone. And the price for any parts is jacked up simply because they installed it and is supposedly covered by a 90 day warranty....and trying to get your money back becomes a nightmare.
I called Sears for a broken washing machine... the first time they came out the man misdiagnosed the problem as just a broken lock on the door... even though I told him the washing machine shutoff mid cycle and would not go back on or unlock no matter what I did.2nd visit after the $79 diagnostic the guy was excellent... Mark. However, he tells me its not jus the lock its the motherboard. They send the part and he comes back for visit 3. Turns out that wasnt the right part they sent out even though he ordered the right one... 4th visit is the right part, but now turns out its another issue ... 5th visit ... they sent the wrong part again and they refund me the money for the parts. It not the labor. Total waste of 5 days taking off work to try and get it fixed. Had to go buy a new machine.Dont waste your time folks on repairs for major appliances.
Sears has been nothing but a HUGE disappointment. I bought a Kenmore grill almost 2 years ago. I bought the 2-year warranty. It was repaired once because it wouldnt ignite. A few months later, the grill BLEW UP. Yes, it blew up and scorched my friends 16-year-old nieces eyebrows off. The explosion was so strong that it also blew the shutters off my house! Thankfully, the teen didnt lose her eyesight and my house didnt catch on fire, but 2 months later we still have no grill. I have called 12+ times and have had 3 technician appts., although I have had 5-6 scheduled appts. I have been told that the pics and info has gone to the team in Texas and you will hear back soon on a repair or replacement. 2+ months later, my grill sits there. Unusable. Dangerous. I am frustrated beyond belief. I cannot afford a new grill. They refuse to repair it. They refuse to replace it. All I get is run around. A federal investigator from the US Consumer Product Safety Commission came to look at the grill because Sears had to report the EXPLOSION. So, now what? No calls back from the supervisors, no grill... no outdoor cookouts this summer? Its too dangerous to use. I just want a replacement so I dont have to be stressed out everytime we BBQ. Why are they doing this? I bought it, I bought the warranty, and I have nothing to show for it. Thanks for nothing, Sears.
Timely and professional. What more can you ask for?
Excellent service. Profesional.fast and timely.Thank you.Jim is one of a kind.
Scheduled Sears because Ive used and trusted them over the years in the Midwest. Was given a 4 hour window, waited 5+. Cost $80 for them to come out and tell me what was wrong. My washer was leaking. The guy was there exactly 10 min and half that time was spent cleaning up the water - which part of its leaking did he not understand? Issue turned out to be a loose hose which he simply reconnected. Then proceeded to charge me another $84 for labor so $164 to reconnect the loose hose! When I complained he said well its fixed and I had to take it apart - he removed the front which pops back in place & top and had to do that as part of the diagnostics anyway. After arguing with him, he dropped the total to $94 which I was fine with. So be prepared to be overcharged if you call them - maybe thats common practice in south Florida but I wont be calling Sears again after that awful experience!
An experienced and pleasant repairman arrived on time and correctly diagnosed the problem. Thanks
Very friendly service man fixes problem quickly.
Professional, courteous, efficient got the job done very fast.
Waited 30 minutes for service and still didnt get any
The Mechanic arrived early and He was very professional and knew what he was doing. The repair was successful.
The repair technician was courteous and very professional.
Installation service was perfect and on time -but:the new Kenmore replacement fridge is very loud, it creates are smooth sound that is on most of the times - any thoughts on this?Henning
It was a very simple repair, accomplished by a friendly, courteous technician
Daryl, tech number 0814194 was very helpful and knowledgeable and pleasant
Service agreement for Sears products are worthless. After Dishwasher repair man came out, he stated that the needed part was no longer available. Sears said they would try to locate an equivalent part and then call me back. I waited a week for their call. They never called, so I called them. They said the equivalent part would arrive in another week.I called them again a week later, they didnt know the status, so I complained that they should replace the Dishwasher. They transferred me to the complaints department, where they said that under the circumstances, that they would issue a request for replacement and that they would call me back within 2 days. They never did.I called them after 2 days and they then said the replacement part had arrived and a repair man would come out and fix it the following week. After the repair man installed the new part, he left saying that it was fixed without verifying it. Now after more than 3 weeks without a dishwasher, the new part did not fix it. I called Sears and complained that I would never buy a Sears product again after this experience. I wanted to talk to a Manager/Supervisor about the delay and a faulty product, but they would not allow me to talk to someone higher up.
The repair technician was very efficient and knowledgeable.
Prompt, courteous,efficient. Very satisfied.
Excellent service! David was so friendly and helpful!!
When I called for service, I TOLD the operator what was wrong with my refrigerator and when the service technician got here he confirmed my diagnosis. The repair would have cost me $500 more or less, so I did not get the refrigerator lights to work because of whatever little do dad MAKES the light work...the repair technician said he could not test the new light that I paid a bunch for to see if it was good so I got ZIP. He left and I have to pay about $80 for NOTHING. Gee thanks, Sears.
Great communications and service. Will use again
10/29/17 update: The problem is back, so Ill be calling Sears again. Our 8 year old refrigerators thermostat wouldnt shut off. The tech knew exactly what the problem was and had a replacement sensor in the truck. Alls well!
Technician came out and said it was just turning the water on and said it was fixed but it was not - still not working properly - had to call and schedule for someone to come back.
Repair have been coming out for months still not fixed it still goes out of balance & drains the water have to stand there during the whole wash time so when it goes out of balance to pause & redistribute clothes it does it on every load no matter what cycle i give up spending $1000 on a machine that doesnt work & they keep putting in new parts but still broken will never buy a washing machine from sears again
Courteous efficient on time Thank you
Third time here. They fix one problem but create another one
First visit did nothing just got on phone and conversed with someone and then said needs to order power supply 7-10 days (that was problem reported) then waited 2 weeks never heard back had to call service provider to get him to come
I have not received my receipt of payment for services rendered.I would like it NOW thank you
After a month of trying to get service scheduled and then 3 home visits I can finally use my dryer.
On time, quality repair.
Repairman was very rude! After the repair, he did not check to see if the machine was working properly!
Great service and fast response
The service person fixed the refrigerator in visit. He had the needed part on his truck.
