We use Broward to keep our appliance and heating/air system in operation. We rent the condo from time to time and its very helpful to have them on call for repairs. They are good at scheduling appointments and the technician has been prompt. They are also good at recommending when its cheaper to replace than repair. Weve used them for 14 years.
Literally caught the technician youtubing how to fix a washing machine. I posted it on my Facebook story 😂 everybody couldnt stop laughing and commenting on how unprofessionally they are. Now my AC has been out for 2 weeks, that they installed in 2017 and they keep giving me the run around about a part Ive Amazon prime 2 days. Thanks Broward Factory you guys suck
We have had good experiences with Broward so far. We have called twice; once for my refrigerator (stopped working) and once for my dryer. Both times they have had a tech come out same or next day. The tech was helpful and efficient.
We needed to have our water heater replaced. Broward discovered the problem late on a Thursday during a routine inspection, and we had the new one installed by Monday. The technician, Alex, arrived on time and did an excellent job with the installation. He made sure the drain valve was easily accessible and explained how to maintain our new water heater by draining the tank once a year. The re-piping he had to do is very neat and he made sure all overflow pipes are visible. He left the area very clean. We are extremely pleased.
My washing machine stopped working and Broward factory sent a technician to repair it. He ordered a part that took a full week to get and then came back and it still didn’t work. After a lot of aggravation the company sent Fernando today who promptly diagnosed the problem correctly,figured out a way to temporarily fix the machine so that I can use it until the part comes in. Highly recommend Fernando,he was efficient, knowledgeable and really went out of his way to fix the machine. Very happy with his work.
About two years ago both ovens in the apartment that we rent broke down. Our landlord has a contract with BFS and so we have non control over who does repairs at our apartment It took Broward Factory Service 2 MONTHS to get the ovens repaired. Recently they broke down again. This time it took 6 WEEKS to get them repaired. They rarely show up in the time-frame that they tell you and on ocassion dont show up at all. You take a day off of work to get your appliance fixed and then have to take another day off because THEY cant make it..... We just called last week becuase the dishwasher went out and they scheduled me for a week later. I sat home all day waiting for them and when I finally called, they said that they had called last Friday and left a message that they couldnt make it today. I checked my messages and they DID NOT call. Another day wasted.
We recently had our water heater replaced. The technician, Alex, arrived early in the time slot and did a superb installation. The shut-off valve, all drain pipes, and drain valve are now easily accessible. Outstanding work, thank you.
I have had my service contracts in Broward county - with Broward Factory Service since 2010... 2 polices - 2 units- Office personnel is amazing - Michelle W. is the best- She is a big reason I have kept my contracts after all these years! All of the techs who have come to my apartments to do repairs have been very pleasant, kind and very knowledgeable. Always see the same guys! (which is a good thing) They get the job done and done quickly ...I ask for a 30 minute call before - so Im not sitting around waiting or missing work! They always show up when they say they are going to be there... 5 stars!
I highly recommend Broward Factory Service to everyone looking for great, complete, no hassle service ! Fernando, helped us today, and was super pleasant and professional. I had previous dealings with the yellow company and was unhappy with their customer service. Everyone here at BFS seems like they actually like their job ! A+

I have been a member of this warranty company for 3 plus years - never used the service. My AC went out and they didnt come out until the next day and then told me I had to wait at least a week for the part, in the middle of a pandemic in July in south Florida - not professional and very disappointing
AWFUL!!! After being a loyal customer for over ten years I am terminating my contract with this company. We had placed a service call to the company on Friday for our AC. They were supposed to come out on Monday morning, then they rescheduled for 2-5 they showed up at 5:30PM. Tom the service person was very unhappy about being at our home. We had to use our own ladder and wet vac as he didnt want to unload his truck!!! Our AC was working when he got there. We were told that the replacement part (WHICH OF COURSE IS NEVER COVERED) would be around $150.00 I found it on Amazon for $19.99. When they left our AC was not working. I called the emergency line three times that evening as I had my daughter and ten week old grand baby staying with us. No answer, even though the emergency line states we would receive a call withing one hour. Not even did I receive a call the next morning, I was then told they would not have come out anyway...NICE. I had to get another company out to fix what they clearly broke!!!I am cancelling my contract and expect a refund for the remainder of my contract!!! We have personally worked on the owner of the companys home and I know he would never accept this type of service.VERY VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want to say thank you to Robert for helping me with my ac unit issues. He is honest and passionate about what he does and it shows. Since I live in Maryland and only travel down during winter, I rely on broward to make sure my ac is working fast and efficiently. They haven’t let me down! Thanks broward!
Customer for over 10 years with four policies, 1 per property. I received too many that item is not covered by your policy.. No less than 3 technicians were sent to repair my oven range. Technicians are not well trained in repairing various appliances and were not familiar with an induction type oven range. I finally junked the range which was only 3 years old and bought a new one. With current rates, I prefer to hoof it without insurance and pay as I go with qualified repairmen. As for appliance insurance, I no longer believe in it, thanks to Broward Factory Service..

They are always prompt and courteous. They fix the problem and order the necessary parts. If further effort is required, they are very good at any necessary further follow through. We would highly recommend their services.
The absolute worst warranty company Ive ever had the displeasure of dealing with. After paying a $55 deductible, the repairman came to my home to fix my dryer 3 days later. He had the audacity to say this is a pretty easy fix, do you know how to do this yourself? No, I dont know how to do it myself, thats why I called on you! The part, a timer, was ordered. It took 6 days to come in. I was then scheduled for the repair appountment on Monday 6/5/17. I got a call from Amber, the receptionist, at 8:46 AM on Monday stating that their repair tech had called in sick, and that they would need to reschedule my repair, even though the had the part, to Thursday 6/8. I called back after a couple hours and demanded to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor called back after 2 more calls to ask what the status was. I asked them to come the next day, as I had now been without a working dryer for 2 weeks. After a confirmation from Roxanne, another receptionist, the supervisor made a service call to my home the following morning, however, I never got a call back as to if my dryer was fixed. I called the office and was transferred to the supervisor. The supervisor stated that he had broken my selector knob IN HALF while servicing the dryer, and that he was going to order that part and that it would arrive within 5 MORE days. I resolved the issue myself, by purchasing the $11 part that he had broken and replaced it myself. I plead you to never consider purchasing a warranty from this company. I have also asked multiple times for my $55 deductible payment back, to no avail.
BFS has been super with all of our requests. They recently installed a new air conditioner in my condo, and did it with absolute professionalism and courtesy. Erold and David were wonderful and careful to clean up and finish on time. I highly recommend BFS for all of your appliance needs!

Do NOT trust this company. I am a new customer who was overcharged by hundreds of dollars on a recent purchase, and still waiting to receive my refund that they said they processed 3 business days ago. When I called my bank this morning, they said no credit of the sort has even been initiated yet. Take your money elsewhere and do not fall into the same trap I did. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had.

I had been reviewing the Gold Plan that BFS offers for about 3 or 4 weeks. This Thursday (10/4)I saw some water in my garage.I requested BFS to repair the blockage in my drain. It was agreed that night that I would commit to a replacement plan.Friday (10/5) no one shows up or calls. At almost 5 PM I called them. I was told that the technician got delayed and that the tech would come out on Saturday.Sat the tech comes out, spends time doing whatever he did? He informed me that I needed some parts, that needed to be ordered. BFS was called this morning for an update. At that time I was told that the repair was going to cost an additional $700.00, on top of the $550, that was already pd ($1200 plus)I was told that my contract did not take affect until 30 days passed. That was never disclosed when signing me up.Im upset and concerned about BFS true way of doing business?A month or two earlier, I had a very similar experience with BFS. This was for a rental property owned. I was sold 4 contracts (1 for each unit) sure enough, I call for service and am told. The repair needed is not covered? More out of pocket money was required.A mix up or misunderstanding happens, once, But twice? 2 different repairs needed, yet the same customer service issue? Too coincidental!!!Ck with The BBB before you get LIED TO and deceived.
Ive had BFS for many years and have always found them to provide prompt, professional service. This last time my AC was out and they were here to fix it the next day.Ken Kaufman
I wasnt here to greet the gentlemen when they arrived but if they had been anything lest than stellar my father would have mentioned it and probably already contacted you all.I did hate to have to wait until almost a week later when my AC was out but I appreciate you all showing up when you did and taking care of the situation.

I have had the Broward Home / Appliance warranty for a couple of years now. Someone from another A/C service called to offer an A/C inspection for a fee. I could not remember of an inspection was part of Browards service or not, but I decided to call and ask. I was delighted to find out that a free cooling inspection is covered on both A/C units each year. The inspection was scheduled promptly. The technician arrived on time, completed the inspection in a timely manner. He seemed knowledgeable and was communicative and courteous. I was also delighted to find out that both units - even the very old A/C unit is functioning well. So obviously, BFS was not trying to con me into paying for unnecessary repairs. Good to know! I have been happy wiht BFS since the beginning.
