As an older independent woman who tries first to do it myself, Patti and family were so helpful to me and I WAS able to do it myself!! Patti went above and beyond great customer service when I left my wallet there and she searched out my phone number and then met me somewhere to return it to me. There are NOT a lot of people who would have gone that far to help you out. I will always support this local family business and recommend to others that they do as well!

This is the place to go. If you have a Walker lawn mower you would be crazy to go anywhere else because these people have been around forever working with Walker. Talk about people who know what theyre doing. Dan has the knowledge of 10 small engine men put together. Patty has the best attitude and customer service one could imagine, she also has a vast mechanical knowledge that would put most guys to shame I usually ask to speak to Dan with my questions only to find out Patty knows the answer! What a great local business I love it when you find people that know so much about the specific thing that you need. Ive used Dans Small Engine repair for regular maintenance of my lawn mower and snow blower for several years. I was really impressed this year, they completed the maintenance but when they tried out the mower for me there was a gas leak from the carburetor. The mower is over 20 years old, so no replacement part was available, so for free, they added a valve on the gas line to stop the leak. What service!

I called on a specific lawn mower part and gave them my model number. They didn’t have it in stock and told me it would be 2-3 weeks before they would get it. They said they would be happy to order it but considering the timeframe of delivery to try online. Since I had the model number but not the part number they gave me the specific part number and what they would charge me so I could comparison shop.I went online and found a price similar but higher and I could get it in 3 days. There is no way I would have found the info on my own but they spoon fed it to me so I could get the part I needed ASAP. Regardless an honest and customer friendly business always gets my vote. I hope this review sends business their way. When I need their type of service again I won’t hesitate to go to Dan’s.

Couple of weeks ago i discombobulated the pull starter on my generatorWe checked every place and nothingWalked in the shop and the lady knew EXACTLY the part i needed and had it spot on 25$Generator works like a happy lil lark

Just got a minor tune up for my lawn mower....after 3 years of use. Dans did a great job and it was ready much sooner than expected...and at a fair price. I recommend ignoring the review that mentions an argument ...very nice folks...give them your business.

Went to them for repair of my self propelled, walk behind mulching lawnmower. I was impressed with their work, speed getting the job done, their willingness to go the extra mile, and honesty. The blade sharpening job they did was excellent, and better than the places I used previously. They topped off the oil without charge, and fixed an issue with the drive belt. It was comforting to work with such good people. PS I rarely give 5 star reviews.

I hired a different company to do a tune-up on my riding lawnmower. They diagnosed my problem as a leaking head gasket. After 6 painful months of repeated repair mistakes and horrible customer service they said my engine was unrepairable. I then took my mower to DANs. He had it running perfectly in 4 hours.Save yourself alot of heartache. Go to DANs first. It definitely is a 5+++star establishment.

Had what we needed- an ignition key for an old stander mower, and gave it to us for free. However very rude and impatient on the phone and clearly even more of an inconvenience once we got there. Would have gladly paid double if it would have come with some grace. We were referred to them to have what we needed and that was true for the mower but I didnt need all the extra.

I prefer to get parts for my machines here. They have always been kind to me. The other day Dan came out to ensure I got the carb parts in right. If I need a major repair, guess where I’ll get it done?

Honest folks and solid work. Been using them for 4 years now for lawn mower maintenance. How did I know they were good? It seems like nearly every lawn care business in town uses them!They have always been honest and fair about the work that needed to be done and how long it would take. If you break down in the middle of the summer, there may be a couple weeks wait to get your machine fixed due to demand, but THEY WILL TELL YOU THAT!And their prices have always been fair. They will also tell you when something just aint worth fixing.

Great service, great value. My riding mower had a short in the electrical, rather than spend hundreds on tracing it out, he wired in a relay to bypass the problem, and it was back to normal. Dan could have charged far more, but he was very fair and addressed the problem at a reasonable cost. I found out from a friend about him, and will refer everyone I can.

Dans is by far the best for Walker Mower Repair, Service and complete knowledge. I have taken my machines other places, but they are never fixed as well as at Dans. If you have a problem with price, go get your machines hacked on elsewhere, but if you want it done right the first time. Dans is the place.

Still Not Working Properly. I took my lawn mower in. It took 3 weeks to get it back, which wouldnt be a problem but it still makes a clunking sound and overheats. They didnt even replace the spark plug.They said they cleaned it up, but it was filthy. Gotta find a new mechanic.

If they cant help ya...you are screwed. Great service and know what they are doing.

Whenever I need help rebuilding an engine or just finding some parts Dans is the first place I go to.

My stander is weeks past due and theyve never called me to tell me that the engine was on backorder, poor service at this point.
